They are tirelessly restoring the reputation of the British Isles for making great cheese, by making available high quality cheeses from non-industrial scale cheese makers. Especially raw cheeses. They work very closely with each producer to make sure that the cheeses offered are the best quality. This gives peace of mind, in terms of quality, animal welfare and food safety. Because of NYD's care for cheese in their maturing rooms and their commitment to quality, cheeses from Neal's Yard Dairy taste much better than cheeses from the same producers stocked in other cheese mongers

Only open on Saturdays, but worth a visit for special cheeses. The staff is super helpful suggesting and curating cheese boards, and sharing knowledge about exotic British cheeses. You don't come here for sandwich slices, but this is where you want to go if you are getting cheese for a dinner party.

What a wide and good selection of cheese and diary products. The bread they stock is also excellent. A must visit on Saturday mornings. The staff are always lovely and keen to let you try as many types of cheese as you like before buying.

One of my most favourite places to be in london. From covent garden - dip behind M&S and venture up the little roads to come across this little yard. full of eateries and the remedy rooms with the shop. Amazing place to be.

Part of the Neal's yard Dairy selling their amazing cheese, quieter then going to the other shops such as the one in Borough market but limited opening times. When I went on the 16th December they are temporarily in one of the arches opposite due to building work.
