Nebbiolo Restaurant & Wine Bar

Nebbiolo restaurant and wine bar was pretty good. The wine list is pretty extensive and offers plenty of variety. The food was good but proportions are small compared to the price. Very crowded so I would suggest making a reservation. Service was absolutely great and the atmosphere was lively. I would definitely recommend going there for dinner.

The ambiance is lovely and warm. The service is quick for such a busy little joint, however it's best to have a reservation for quick seating. The food is very good! The price point does constitute the quality of the meal you are getting. I recommend the steak 100%. I will be back again with my family. Whoever is manning the kitchen did a great job and knows what they are doing. Kudos to the kitchen staff.

Nebbiolo is our go-to for great food. My husband’s favorite are the scallops. He always orders them but I always try the different menu items each time and have never been disappointed. I highly recommend Nebbiolo for an excellent dining experience.

My order was natural tender beef with sautéed mushrooms, the beef was tender and cooked medium rare, however the sauce was too salty. May be the salty sauce was to favor the beef and polenta. It was pretty plain without the sauce. Calamari was crispy and tender. Other people enjoyed their dishes. The New York steak was over cooked a bit. There was no soup option that night. The service over all was good.

Upscale but relaxed, this culinary jewel in OC served some perfectly prepared risotto and scallops. The peppradelle pasta and and salmon was also good. The bread pudding was perfect- moist and flavorful without being soggy. The service and ambiance was great, although a bit loud. So its not the spot for an intimate, quiet date.

Always a meal to remember. The clams are exceptional and there are many shareable dishes. Wine and drink list is extensive and service is personable and top notch. Highly recommended.

Upscale restaurant serving perfectly cooked jumbo prawns & risotto and pan seared salmon this evening. Extensive wine list and beautiful desserts, too. Service was flawless. I recommend this place for a date night or a table of 1 foodie.

My husband and I stopped in to celebrate our anniversary & quite enjoyed our meal. He ordered the ribeye, I got the mushroom ravioli and we order bread pudding for dessert. Everything was delicious & our server was very pleasant. It wasn’t overly crowded at 4pm on a Tuesday - we had made a reservation, but they were seating walk-ins, as well. Definitely a nice dinner spot for a night out.

Liked the service, food was great, I had the pork chop, my friend had the steak. I had a slice of rhubarb pie that was wonderful! The only downside was the non padded wooden seating. As a senior I need a little padding. Next time I will bring something to sit on.

Fabulous date night spot, or wine date with friends! We've been here a couple times for special occasions, and the service and meal are always top-notch. The only suggestion I have is to save room for dessert.

We made a reservation ahead of time. Dinning at 4:45 and it was pretty empty. When we presented we were offered a table by the front door and explained they had a big party coming in. No problem, we ask for a table towards the back and told those were for a party of 4 only to see walk in party of 2 to be seated in the back. Service was prompt, but abrupt. He seemed more engaged talking music with a guest at the bar. The Fonseca bread was heavy with butter and the marinara tasted like plain tomato sauce with very little flavor. The green chili chicken flautas were very good. The ravioli was good but very rich and the mushrooms were sparse. The scallops with pea risotto was excellent. The scallops were cooed correctly. I wouldn't consider this establishment fine dining. Considering the price point and the service provided I don't think we'd return.

We love Nebbiolo for their dinner service, but on occasion when we want to just have a sweet treat Nebbiolo is were we go! They serve house made dessert as well as a selection from a local vendor, the pastry smith. We always indulge in their seasonal bread pudding, this time it was peach with almonds and raisins. Their creme brûlée is also excellent. Nick was our sever and they were very friendly and helpful with our selections. This spot has a great ambiance for date night and the food will never disappoint.

Stopped by for an evening with co-workers. It is a nice little wine bar with amazing tapas. I am looking forward to return for their dinner service.

Love this place. Great food. Can't wait to go back. Wonderful wine selection. Waiter was knowledgeable about wines but seemed a little aloof & short with us, not wanting to share his expertise. Overall a good experience.

I love the food here! We have been several times; the food is constantly delicious! Dinner specials are trendy! The only drawback is that it is Expensive. Great wines list also offers nice by-the-glass and fun drink specials!

It was a wonderful evening. Staff is very attentive and helpful. I absolutely love their smoked trout. Lots of great wine selections. Mimi the bartender was lovely to interact with.

Came here for dinner tonight as first timers. The food was great. Drinks.. perfect. That shrimp scampi was out of this world.

Underwhelming food and service. Bummed that a table who arrived ten minutes after us was attended to first and served first when we had a reservation. Food was surprisingly bland. First time, last time.

We have driven by this restaurant so many times, and decided to stop in. Fantastic little restaurant. They had live music, very clean and relaxing environment. Our food was amazing. The pictures will speak for themselves. The wine selection was amazing as well. Service was great, such a laid back staff, very attentive! Honestly, a must visit for a couples get away dinner or dinner with friends and family! Cheers!

My 2 friends and I went to Nebbiolo last Sat night for a Birthday celebration. Love the atmosphere...it has the feeling of a NY bistro. We had the last table available , glad we had reservations. The food, as always was outstanding, the service amazing..Zaida was wonderful , all in all one of the best evenings out in quite awhile. The only thing that was a problem, was the live music. It was too loud, and we had the table farthest from the music, you couldn't understand the words with all the crowd noise. Had we been sat closer , we would have had to leave. Shouting across the table so your dinner friends can hear you is not conducive to warm conversation. The venue is too small for anything more than guitar music. I love this spot, but will try to go during the week when there won't be live music. Warm Regards

We came for Valentine's Day .... Packed .... Super loud ... which is to be expected - but the meals they handed us were different than what was listed on the valentines menu . For example ... the menu stated his meal would have mashed potatoes but they were sweet potatoes and mine said the meal would come with a version of green beans ( I can't remember the name !) but the plate came with asparagus. It was almost as if the kitchen was confused or unaware of the menu .... I am sure they did their best with how packed it was.

Food is as good as Mediterranean food gets in the surrounding area. We prefer here over several other Italian/Med restaurants and it's always busy and bustling with great staff. And excellent wine selection! And for our wedding, we wanted to have dinner for four after we eloped and they helped make a little spot very special for us. It was fun to thank the owner, who happens to sit around and listen to the live music they have there.

Oregon City has many little trendy places to dine now and this is one that I had not tried so I made a reservation and a gal pal and I decided to check it out. I would recommend a reservation since they are usually full during peak times. I will say that Oregon City is all dialed in with the Christmas lights and this place being across from the Court House square where there are many lights was really spectacular. Nebbiolo is cute and located in a historical building with exposed brick walls. They are also a wine bar and the list is pretty extensive along with the craft cocktails. Our waiter was very nice and prompt and we had our drinks, water and menus fast. We ordered the Brie & Roasted Garlic $14 for an appetizer which comes with toasted artisan bread slices. Yum! It came on quickly and was served in a small cast iron pan. One thing I did notice is that from older photos the serving has gotten smaller of the brie. There was not much brie or roasted garlic but it was delicious. I ordered the Chicken & Green Chile Flaunta's which was an entree on the menu and when it was served it was the size of an appetizer. :( They consisted of Natural chicken, New Mexico "Hatch" green chiles & jack cheese, deep-fried in a flour tortilla, served with homemade pico de gallo & guacamole. $15 Everything was overpriced for the portions but the food was delicious.

This a wonderful establishment! We love the clams brie, and tenderloins with mushroom sauce. Everybody is friendly and accommodating. The entire staff is a joy...Jason, in particular, is always fun and attentive. We share a love for music, which makes for some great conversation. If you're in OC, don't miss this gem.

My wife and I had dinner reservation on a Tuesday night. It was really a disaster, but I suspect it was a one-off bad night for them. We waited for over an hour and were never seated. They said someone was sick, short handed, etc. But, given how long we sat there it seems like the host, the bartender, the waitress, the other waitress ... somebody should have taken ownership and got us taken care of. Overall such a negative experience it's a one and done for us.

Picked up some truffle mac & cheese for a sick friend. Super service & I only picked up. I got the same thing as my friend & it was delicious comfort food.

We were seated promptly as we were early guests. We ordered the caesar salad to start with a lovely bottle of wine. The salad was one of the best caesar salads I have had and we eat them around 50 times per year. Then we ordered the scallop dish and added one. Probably the best or near the best I have ever eaten. I fix them often at home with a nice sherry finish, but their pea approach was quite excellent. Our first time here, but not our last by a long ways! Such a refreshing dinner! T

We went there on September 10th, a Saturday night, for dinner where I had the best pork chop ever. It was tender, well seasoned and there was a poblano mole sauce which was divine. My wife had a sole which she thoroughly enjoyed as it was well prepared and very flavorful. I had the house red which was quite good but the second glass was about three quarters of the first. Dessert was ok dry cheese cake and my wife really enjoyed her Affogato. So, we went back the next night and what a disappointment. The pork chop was tough and no where near as tasty. The salmon was excellent. The wine pour was half the first time ordered for the same price. Amazingly inconsistent. If you are lucky, you will get them on a good day.

This is a great date night spot. It's upscale the food and service are top notch. The wine selection is great. It is expensive, two people are probably not going to get out of there for less than 150 bucks. The only is it can be a bit crowded and it gets really warm in there with a lot of people in a small space like that. That's part of being located in a historic building in a beautiful downtown like Oregon City has. Highly recommended.

Omg this place is so good. We had been driving by for years and the sign outside just said "wine bar and market" so we never bothered going in. Wow, the food is delicious and of course they have great wines. The service is always good too.

On the spendy side but the food is delicious and drink selection is great. Knocked off one star because I frequent other establishments where the same beverage selections are priced significantly less. Atmosphere is nice and the bartenders are very nice.

Our dinner group really enjoyed our meal here. The petrale sole was delicious! The desserts and drinks are wonderful too. We had excellent service! The music was an added plus! This is a restaurant we will definitely go back to !

We had a lovely dinner here. The waitstaff were excellent. Meals were all delicious. Drinks spot on. Will definitely return. A family restaurant with several families with kids on a Saturday night. So nice to see.

Sra. C & I celebrated our birthdays here & enjoyed a thoroughly delightful meal. Michelle made us feel welcomed & Nick took great care of us. The ahi salad was delicious, especially when paired with the Old Smoky cocktail (Old Fashioned with mixologist-smoked sugar cube). Sweetie enjoyed the seasonal special beef short ribs, and I loved the Quattro Funghi ravioli. We capped it off with a yummy blueberry bread pudding & very tasty pear tart with crème anglaise. It was a lovely congenial evening, and the food was great!

Best restaurant in Oregon City hands down. Casual, cool wine bar & restaurant great for a date night. Food is excellent! There's also live music outside depending on time of year. I always get the salmon risotto plate for dinner, crab ceviche for app and the garlic Brie.

I always have the best time at Nebbiolos. The wine is top notch and the food never disappoints. This is the perfect spot for a casual date or a girls night out. It's classy without trying too hard and tasty without breaking the bank.

I can't even describe how disappointed I am. My husband and my birthday are both in December. We have good things about this restaurant and made a reservation. We arrive 10 minutes early and sat at the bar. I told the bartender it would take a few minutes to make my selection, big mistake. He ignored us after this. People were getting tables and other customers were getting their food that arrived after us. We eventually actually had to wave down a server, were told that the customer who had our table were taking a long time and drinking wine. Hmmm, so people who come in after us, with no reservations get to eat? After 40 minutes we left, ruined our birthday celebration. Never asked if we wanted an appetizer while we wait or if we wanted to eat at the bar.

One of my favorite places to visit when I am in Oregon City! I haven't been back in 7 years and this was one of my "must stop" places. I went in just for the garlic and Bree but they were sold out. To say I was heart broken is an understatement. I ended up getting the clams, which were okay. I will be back in 7 year (hopefully sooner) and I'll call down before going to make sure they have the garlic Bree.

The service was attentive and the food excellent. I had the chicken which was cooked to perfection and my friend had the scampi which she also really enjoyed. We'll go back to make our way through the menu

Outstanding service! Food was amazing and I was super impressed by the level of quality for the food served here given how small this town is. Everything we ordered was a hit no complaints whatsoever. Ceviche, Scampi, Scallops and Risotto, everything was exquisite. This is top notch spot for the area and our waiter was so good it's as if we were paying 3x the amount for our food, with the level of attention he provided. If you're in the area stop by and support this locally owned establishment.

We've moved in Oregon lately from Hawaii where has the most world wide foods industries. We've looked for the great foods near by house since then. Of course I checked Yelp, typed "Restaurant " , " location" and checked "rate" . This restaurant popped up at first right after the sponsored company. I don't really care about " sponsored restaurant" quite honestly. So, we decided to try them first time. We ordered Breaded Calamari, Roasted Brie and garlic as an appetizer. These were awesome! And ordered Grilled salmon and risotto, Ribeye steak and Scallops and risotto. Omg! Every single dish was sooooo good. Only one thing if we can say was non of the plates of our main dishes were not hot at all. The meal were great. It seems like freshly cooked but they served on icy cold plate. (1/2 star is deducted right here!) At last, we were so full and no space for desert, but of course we ordered the slice of NY cheese cake and German chocolate cake ( lol) . We had no regrets at all. We'll definitely go back there to try another dishes! Super ONO (tasty in Hawaiian)

ABSolutely delicious. The owner is super sweet and welcoming and she let us know that she procures locally as much as possible. The wine selection was delicious and intl and we had two pastas that were both a little bit unique and different from the traditional recipe but abs delicious and we practically.

I keep coming back to this place. They are a little pricey, but we love the customer service here and the wine and food are delicious! You can order smaller plates too! Other places nearby aren't so customer service orientated, and we always enjoy it when we do come! So I encourage all to give it a go!

Rating based off of their weekend brunch. Service was pretty slow for the quantity of guests, and our server was not knowledgeable about menu items. The Bloody Mary was okay, not worth $11. I ordered one of their brunch menu items, the chilaquiles. Flavor was good, but the portion size was too small for a meal (I was still hungry after finishing my dish). It was more like a shareable appetizer item which was disappointing. The plus was that they had live music Saturday til 2pm. Probably won't be back for brunch, but will stick with coming back for a nice glass of wine .

Food was great from the appetizers to the main dish were all excellent. We celebrated my sisters birthday and at the end they brought her not one but two slices of their cheese cake so she could share with us and they so tasty and delicious. We had a great time and would much highly recommend this place.

We love Nebbiolo and recently booked the entire restaurant for a special private event with friends and family. The staff did such an amazing job - perfect food, perfect service, and we couldn't have asked for a better evening.

First time at this restaurant. Sat outside as it was still 'Covid' concerns with inside space. Thoroughly enjoyed all the dishes we ordered. Wish I had taken photos. When I went Inside to use the restroom, it was crowded. Glad I didn't come with my daughter who uses a wheelchair. It would have been impossible to get her around or to a table. Tables were really close together and a squeeze to walk between. Felt like I was encroaching on others space. All in all a pleasant experience. I would go back again.

The wife and I tried this spot after kayaking on the river and boy, we were not disappointed! The service was friendly and it was a nice space with good atmosphere. We were disappointed at first because they were out of clams and we were really looking forward to that. But we ended up loving what we got anyway. We had the organic mixed green salad, the salad special with peaches and shared the cod ceviche (also a special) and the scampi. We also got a glass of wine and the sangriolo cocktail. The food was delicious! The organic mixed green salad could have used a little more dressing. I was unsure of how I'd like peaches in a greed salad but they worked. The highlight of the night was the cod ceviche. We'd never had ceviche before so we don't have anything to compare it to, but it was amazing. It had just the right amount of heat but was cooled off with the avocado. It was one of the most flavorful things I've ever eaten. Their house bread was a bit odd...it was sort of like an angel food cake consistency. Not bad, just weird. I can't wait to go back.

Food was delicious and the service was outstanding. I'm not a fan of seafood so my options were limited but still really liked the pasta I had. Others in our group absolutely loved their seafood. Wine was also delicious.

I wanted to give this place 5 stars. The atmosphere is excellent, and our wait staff, "Z" was awesome. My son and I both ordered the ribeye, covered in a mushroom sauce. The taste was excellent! (I don't even like mushrooms). The problem was that the steak was tough. Like really tough! I was standing up to cut up my son's steak because he couldn't get through it. Potatoes were great, asparagus was fantastic! The meat was just tough tough tough. On the way home, we both commented on our jaws being tired from chewing.

Fun little place with top tier food, live music and an upscale environment. Best ribeye I've ever had in my life.

Love it here. Always great small plates and amazing wine as well as good atmosphere. I have eaten here many time and it never disappoints.
