We had been wanting to try this place for a while and we were not disappointed. Not only do they have a great cause for non profit dog rescues, but their wine is delicious. The owners are friendly, knowledgeable and fun to hang out with on a Saturday afternoon! Be sure to try the Chardonnay and VinZin, you won’t be disappointed! My partner and I had an amazing time at Nectar of the Dogs Wine. Erica was a perfect host. We were very impressed with all the wines we tasted in the flight (and we are quite discerning being in the Wine Tour business). We especially loved the Cab Sauv/Cab Franc blend and enjoyed a bottle the next evening with our spaghetti dinner at home. We will definitely recommend Nectar of the Dogs wine to our friends and family and we look forward to visiting again when we travel to that area. Thank you!

Great local wine tasting room. A tasting is $20/person for 6 1oz pours. If you buy 2 bottles they comp you 1 tasting cost. The owners are super friendly, and we got to meet the 2 dogs, Moose & Hula. Joining the wine club is free, and they have 3 different tiers. They have events listed online. Look forward to coming back!

The best people and amazing wines. We came here shortly after they first opened and they are so knowledgeable of their wines and work hard to make sure your experience is a good one. We love coming here and are always happy to come back! They also have food trucks from time to time (but feel free to bring in your own food). Update! They have started doing trivia the last Thursday of every month!

Had a wonderful time here and really enjoyed all of the wines in the flight, the conversation with Melanie and I love that they donate a percentage of their proceeds to rescue groups. A place to check out for sure!

I totally recommend NDW if you're looking for a chill, nice wine tasting experience. We brought our own food in while Melanie kept the glasses filled with some very good wine. Love the environment and vibe of NDW, and it's a Pup loving business ! Thanks again, Melanie, for a wonderful experience !!

~ A DOG LOVER'S PARADISE ~ I've had Nectar of the Dogs Wine bookmarked for a while now and finally found myself in Simi Valley with some free time, so we decided to stop by. As a huge dog and wine lover, this winery was truly the winery of my dreams! Right when you walk in, the tasting room has such a warm, intimate, and welcoming vibe. All around are adorable signs about dogs and wine, and my favorite is their tagline "It's not really drinking alone if your dog is with you." I also love how intentional this space is. There's plenty of seating (bar, small tables, large tables, a couch) without feeling crowded. There's even a stage where they often have live music. The place is full of locals and wine club members, and it looks like such a fun time. Well-behaved pups are welcome, and there's even a tasting room dog (a rescue in training, so please be patient!). Melanie, the owner, is such a friendly and warm person. She was handling the floor herself but still took the time to talk to us and tell us about the winery. We even had the chance to pup-sit her puppy for a bit, which was a huge bonus for us! We're typically red wine drinkers and usually go for a full red flight, but a wine club member recommended their rose, so we tried a mixed flight and were pleasantly surprised! We started with the Viognier, and we loved it because it wasn;t too sweet and perfectly dry to our taste. The rose was definitely delicious- so fresh, flavorful, and light- that we decided to buy a bottle right then and there. For the next three reds, our favorite was the 2023 Syrah, which had lovely blueberry notes. Some of the wine bottles are named after their pups who have crossed the rainbow bridge, and I think that's the most beautiful tribute. Ten percent of their proceeds (from bottles and merchandise) are donated to nonprofit rescues they're partnered with, so our purchases were both delicious and for good! Overall, it was such a great experience, and even though we're about 30 minutes away, we'll definitely drop by again and make this tasting room part of our regular rotation.

What a great concept, 10% of proceeds go to the benefit of dogs. The owners are dog lovers and the labels represent their little four-legged family members who have gone over the rainbow Ridge. We met the wife who was happy to tell us all about the legacy of their dogs. They tend to more white wine which I believe was the majority, and although I am a red wine lover, I still had fun. Because I'm a red wine lover, I didn't buy anything, but I hope that if I come, by again, they will have their cab again!! The bottles are adorable, and they have a cute little gift section as well Definitely a nice, relaxing wine bar to stop in for a break and enjoy some wine

A hidden gem and the only place in simi valley that matters. If you love good wine, live music, and dogs, this is for you. You can tell the owners and employees genuinely enjoy being there.

Love this place! The owners and Erica all wanted to know our names and made sure we felt at home. We were meeting friends (this was their choice place) and I'm so glad we were introduced to this hidden gem in Simi! I was a little worried when I had read reviews that we might not be a fit (we only drink red wine). They have fabulous reds!! Their red cab is phenomenal!!! Our friends did the flights...which is great....but we already know we only like reds...so went right to their Napa red. I wish we had tried their Pinot Noir....but it gives us a reason to return :) Sunday...live music...the guy was great...and the Lion game was also playing...really trying to please everyone!

Absolutely delicious wine tasting. We bought bottles of the Chardonnay and rose. This place has a beautiful ambiance and the owners are wonderful people. I highly recommend this place to relax and drink delicious wine in a local spot.

Fun place for wine. Did a tasting and great tasting wines across the board. This place supports dogs and the local humane society. Highly recommend any of the reds.... fully disclosure, I'm a red fan. If you're in the area, stop by here for a taste. Don't forget to spay or neuter your pets.

Love this place however I noticed that I was charged $17 a glass. To me that's just outrageous! Not sure if it had to do with the fact that it was paint a wine glass day but still... $49 for 3 glasses of wine. No thanks. I'll drink somewhere else.

We stopped in for the first time today while we waited to pick up our dog from grooming. We enjoyed their tasting. The atmosphere was super cute and the staff was super friendly. I also love that they donate a portion of the proceeds to dog rescue. We will definitely stop in again and loving the addition of a tasting room to Simi Valley.

Our son Gareth took us for Father's day....what have we been missing...we took bruschetta, caprese on cocktail sticks, pinwheel sandwiches, fruit, dark chocolate etc. Melanie the owner was so welcoming and friendly, we shared food, funny stories and made new friends. The wine was delicious and we bought a few bottles very reasonably priced. My husband raved about it to golf buddies Thank you Melanie we will be back

This was my first time at nectar of the Dogs. It was amazing!! The service was outstanding, we loved Erica, & the owners Todd & Melanie were very welcoming! The wine was delicious, they serve a lot of different whites, a few reds, that were very pleasing to the palate. I can't wait to go for their live music on Friday nights! Do yourself a favor & visit the only wine tasting venue in Simi Valley, it won't disappoint!

I truly had a great experience here at Nectar of the Fogs. The wines were amazing, they had wine tasting and this was super cool and fun. I went with. My wife and child. The star of the show was Erica. She was super helpful, customer service was super top notch. She was super knowledgeable and sweet. She took her time to chat with us. Please go and try wine tasting . You will love it. Price was great and ambient was amazing too! Ask for Erica!

Had a wonderful afternoon at Nectar of the Dog. Came in for the wine glass painting event, and had the best time. We were surprised at the large selection of wines to choose from. Love that a portion of our purchase goes to animal rescue. Very nice atmosphere. The owner was extremely friendly and helpful. Will definitely be back to try more delicious wine and check out other events, like comedy night. Thank you for a wonderful day.

Great place with a delicious Sav Blanc. The owners have created a very inviting, relaxing and comfortable environment. Definitely be visiting more often!

Wonderful wine tasting visit. The staff is incredibly friendly and attentive. They are eager to make sure everyone has a great experience. They havent been open long, but they have a descent selection to pick from. All bottle purchases go toward animal rescues, which means the business is supporting a great cause. They may not have a big space with a giant patio, but they still have a friendly and inviting space and can make an enjoyable experience for an afternoon.

This hidden gem is tucked in to an office park. Really cute inside... Great service and the wine is excellent! They sometimes have live music, trivia, and are just starting to do comedy shows. The fact that they allowed dogs inside is the icing on the cake.

Cute winery in Simi. Packed with people today. $15!dollars for 5 samples 3 whites a rose' and a red. Had the football game on . Different thing to do in Simi with friends.

Melanie & Erika are great! My family & I have been in multiple times since they've opened and even joined their wine club ! They always make us feel welcome + the wine is great! On weekends when they have the live music there it's a great please to hang out and talk. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for some good wine!

What a hidden gem! FINALLY Simi has a great wine bar! The inside is fresh and clean, with a great atmosphere. The owners are wonderful, not snobby about wine (yet the wine is fantastic!), and delightful to talk to. All of their wines are their wines, the Vin Zin is GREAT (named after their dog )! I recommend going on Fridays they have a happy hour with $10 dollar glasses i think 3-5 pm on the fan favorite options which include whites and reds and I think a rose? I had the Vin Zin (very smooth!) and it was great. The extra cherry is their charitable contribution towards dog rescues, I believe 10% which is thoughtful. Also they have live music on Sundays, I haven't been yet but this is exactly what Simi needs more of. They do not have a outdoor patio, the location is in a industrial business area but the inside makes up for the lack of a patio. I recommend supporting this family who is diligent and professional with great taste in wine. They even have weekends where they will do a food truck with cheeses/meats charcuterie boards. Happy to continue to support this new gem in Simi! ! Cheers!

Great wines, I did a tasting today and every wine was really good. The owners really know what they are doing. The tasting room is fun and casual. I highly recommend this place. If you like good wine in a great atmosphere this is the place .

Went in for the first time today as recommended by my friend. Super cute tasting room. Staff was very friendly. The owners were also very nice. Enjoyed my visit. Give them a try to support small business owners and dogs!

Really enjoyed the wine tasting here. Very nice knowledgeable husband and wife team. I'm not an expert of any kind but I know what I like. I wound up buy a nice bottle of white. My daughter bought 2 reds and a white. Definitely recommend!
