To get in, you have to make a reservation online, enter through Tavern Law (their sister bar), and pick up a vintage phone in the back corner. After you do that, someone will unlock a door that leads to a rickety staircase, and finally, up to an antique parlor. There’s no menu, but trust the expert bartenders to make you something with the ingredients of your choice. We’ve had everything here from a spritz made from a type of pomegranate Campari and raspberries to a classic daiquiri with banana and cinnamon bitters. I have taken my granddaughter's clothes to a place in Summerville and have been very happy with the alterations so I took my husband there to get the sleeves shortened on a sports coat. He thought the quoted price was ridiculous and remembered that he had alterations done at Needle & Thread some years ago. The price quoted here was about half of the previous quote. We haven't picked up the sports coat yet but so I don't know about their work but the price was more reasonable for my husband.

Class style and everything this place has it all highly recommend them was able to create an amazing suit for me on a special occasion. They’re probably the most pristine and surgery surgical like precision when it comes down to their alterations, I highly recommend Sam and his team.

I brought in a gown I needed taken in on the sides, she was very thorough with pinning it exactly how I wanted and it came out beautifully! Highly recommend.

They did a terrible job on my bridesmaid dress. Partially my fault because I should've fully tried on the dress before I left.(meaning putting my arms through the sleeve, instead of just making sure it was taken up enough to wear) I was in a rush. Once it was time to wear the dress that's when I realized that part of the collar had been sewn to the arm strap of the dress. We could NOT fix it, so needless to say I stood out as a bridesmaid. VERY EMBARRASSING!!!!

I recently got a couple of work pants hemmed at Needle & Thread and the service was amazing. The pants came out great, fit perfectly, and the turnaround time was quick!

Dont come here if you want you stuff done when they tell you it will be or dont want your clothes to fall apart. I needed a dress done for a wedding, they told me it would be done in 2 weeks, not problem, i came back on the day they told me and my dress and not even been started. When I asked why it hadnt been dont they tried to say they werent going to do it all, then changed their minds again and told me to come back in another week. I came back and got it and the dress fell apart the first time I tried it one. I had to go purchase a differnt one for the wedding. Save a lot of time and your money and find somewhere else to go.

I don't recommend this place I had them take in my bridesmaids dress for a wedding I was in and it was horrible first, I'm not sure what she took in because the dress was still too big on my waist and hips. As for the shoulders one side was tight and the other too big, and the collar was sewn into the dress on one side, it was just a MESS!!!! ITS time for them to CLOSE!!!!! Yet they want you to prepay for the service. Go somewhere ELSE!!!!!

I've take expensive button down shirts to be fitted. Once I picked them up and took them home to try on they were the same. Clearly they had been sewn, but they were not fitted. I've taken a few back for round 3 of alterations and the owner wanted to charge me all over again. Really?!! I strongly advise against taking anything you want fitted here.

The seamstresses there has been doing this a long time, it seems. Highly recommend the service done here. I have taken uniforms and suits here for years and I continue to do so because of the quality of work. I will say, I had a suit done and the waist was done wrong at first even though the ticket was written up correctly for how I wanted. The issue was quickly resolved within an hour and the suit was good to go. Again, highly recommend for being your regular seamstress!

For a business that requests payment up front I am very displeased with the results that I have received from this business. Nothing is ever done on time and I find myself not noticing any difference in the way my items were prior to getting the alterations done. Not to mention random price adjustments made every time I go there. Please avoid them at all cost.

I took a dress to get hemmed for a wedding this weekend. I paid for the alteration and was told to pick it up today. They close at 6, I got there at 4:30, and the owner said it isn't done?! I would not recommend this business.
