Wow, what an unbelievably horrible experience. I don’t normally go in craft stores with my wife, I usually wait in the car, but I’m really glad I went in this time.
When we walked in the door, a lady asked if she could help us, and my wife began to describe what she was looking for. The lady interrupted her and told her that if she didn’t know information like the guy lot and the gauge of the yarn, she couldn’t help her. She was incredibly condescending and rude about it. She even proceeded to tell my wife that she was welcome to “wander aimlessly” around the store. At that point, I said that we should just go, because I didn’t want to use language that I would regret, and I certainly wasn’t going to give that lady a penny of my money.
