Best Metro Detroit Restaurants Serving Christmas Dinner and More, 2024 | Eater Detroit

"At Michigan Central Station a small market and gift shop is offering a selection of home decor, tableware, books, body care, and more for the holiday season. On Dec. 14 the space will host Sister Pie’s Lisa Ludwinski for a presentation, Q&A, and signing of her cookbook, and Camrey Smith of Halcyon Patisserie is hosting a cooking class to make Bûche de Noël (Yule Log cake). Tickets are encouraged." - Courtney Burk

One of the first new retail stores to open at Ford Motor Company's recently-renovated Michigan Central Station, Neighbor x Folk is located alongside The Arcade, across the Ticket Lobby from The Shop at Michigan Central. Open Tuesday through Saturday, 10 am to 5 pm. As of 1914, this space was where parcels could be checked-in and picked-up by rail passengers. Today's entrance (facing the Ticket Lobby) was where The Station's information counter once stood. Note the elevated "map of Michigan" visible on a vertical column (right). Detroit's favorite landmark provides free admission "lobby hours" (no more tickets, no more online reservations) seven days a week, 8 am to 5 pm.

Really cute shop featuring local artisans' wares, many of which were unique Detroit/Michigan souvenirs like raspberry pączki air fresheners, Vernors scented candles, and Petoskey stone decals

An adorably interesting store. Great variety of things for sale. They carry City Bird items too, which I love! The "moss wall" is such a pretty photo op spot. The only things what was a bit ehh...my son bought a pen for $3 and we couldn't pay cash. Not a fan of the cashless concept.
