"Neighborhood Bread started out delivering fresh loaves to select neighborhoods in Brooklyn back in March 2020. Since then, they’ve expanded their pastry menu to include a bunch of excellent pastries like cardamom buns, Portuguese egg tarts, and danishes topped with poached pears and sweet potato cream. The restaurant is currently taking orders via Instagram DM, and delivering to a few Brooklyn neighborhoods Monday through Wednesday." - nikko duren

Terribly sad and scary experience. Walked in Sunday afternoon with my young son for an icee and was met with hostility and rudeness to the point my son asked if the store person will call the cops. Won’t ever be visiting again since the person did say they didn’t need my money anyway.

ive gone to this deli about twice a week for over a decade, and the staff treat you just like their own family. one of them taught me a little arabic and encouraged me to get in touch with my lebanese roots, and the food is very affordable. five stars, love you guys!!

Greatest deli in the entire world. If you have never entered this place then you truly have never experienced a true bodega. My favorite worker is Freddy he is so kind and also makes the best turkey sandwiches. So clean and the vibe is always lit.

John's Deli on Prospect Ave. is a throwback family owned and operated store. Service is great, all the servers are friendly and personable. Everything sold is fresh. Warm dishes are very good. You cannot go wrong shopping here.

Nice people. Have everything we need throughout the week at good prices. Big selections of cereals, snacks and breads. Lots of canned goods, milk, butter, soy milk, different coffees. Better selection of kitchen necessities than a lot of bigger corner stores. Perfect place to send your kid to pick up milk when you realize you've run out.
