Was craving soul food on a Sunday at 1pm I found this lovely place! Nancy W was my server she was really nice and welcomed me I ordered 3 plates all catfish dinners with 2 sides price all together was $48.60 reasonable price everything was so fresh catfish was very thick and seasoned aswell as the sides my wait time was about 15 mins everything was clean and I will definitely be going back ! This was my first experience trying this place and I loved it

Second time eating here ! Just recently learned of them , and they don’t disappoint! The food is filled to the top.. sides are AMAZING! I reccomened The potato salad , and Mac and cheese with a rib tip plate !

My church had NSH to cater our Pastor Annv and the food was delicious. We had fried chicken wings, Mac n cheese and yams and everything was very good. What surprised and pleased me was the sweet potato was fresh, not can. So many would have taken the short cut and used can sweet potatoes. We will definitely use them for events at the church from now on. The atmosphere rating is based on their corporation and how profession they were. Ty NSH

I don’t usually do reviews but they deserve more recognition. I don’t usually like mac n cheese made by other people, but I decided to try this place. OMG is this delicious! The wings they were mad delicious. I asked for 5 wings, got 7 Customer service was even better. I got there 30 minutes before they were about to close, they kept checking up on me telling me when my order was ready and was even willing to give me a drink. Sweetest people ever! Definitely going again for mac n cheese

Let me start by saying this is a warm, family-owned restaurant that truly makes you feel at home. I've been coming here for a while now, and I have to say—the catfish is an absolute must-try! The turkey tips are tender, flavorful, and downright delicious. Overall, it's always a great experience. Picking up a plate here feels like getting a home-cooked meal from my grandmother. If I could give 10 stars, I would. Definitely a must-try spot!

Middle of the week between Christmas and New Year's Day I was far afield and hungry. Saw this smokehouse on Google Maps and beelined it there. Nobody inside at 1 p.m. but, considering the time of year, time of day & rain all morning, I'm not terribly surprised. There was some walk-in traffic picking up phoned in orders while I was there. Two booths and a long counter with stools are your indoor seating options. A picnic table outside is available if the weather permits. The nice lady at the window juggled the the in-person and phone orders smoothly with the people picking up. The food was good. Mac & cheese were spot-on, smooth and creamy. The collard greens were hot and tasty, well seasoned. The rib tips were delicious but either overcooked and crunchy or with those little round cartilage pieces in them. Bite with care. The spicy BBQ sauce is terrific, enough heat for me but not hot enough to turn people off it.

Great food great prices and wonderful service. This is one of the best kept secrets in the city. Quiet as it's kept, the actual place I went to first said they were open but, they were closed and I'm glad they were.
