I got a “Sammi” (which is a sandwich) it was basically a BLT minus the B and avocado substituted. It was lunchtime, but it took unusually long for it to come out. Not sure how I would’ve eaten it without a fork. It was just messy and flavor was OK. Bun seemed like it was store-bought. An egg was supposed to be soft scrambled, but it was bordering on runny. I just heard really good things about the place and I was very underwhelmed for my expectations.

Such a lovely local shop! Got the iced rose matcha latte and it was perfection! Also treated myself to The Golden Girl mini charcuterie plate. Loved everything so much! The staff are very warm and welcoming, can't wait to come back. Highly recommend 10/10

I stopped by for lunch and had the sandwich and lemonade, both of which were absolutely delicious! What I loved most about Neighbors and Friends is their support for local women-owned businesses. I was able to pick up some amazing products like jam, candles, and a great variety of items. It’s wonderful to see a place so dedicated to uplifting the community and offering unique, high-quality goods. Highly recommend! Five stars all the way!

I wish I would have discovered this gem sooner! I had a tuna melt, my last meal in Padadena at the CAHPERD 2025 Conference. I want to come back just to try more meals at this place.

This place is ADORABLE, the staff is mad friendly and their rose latte slapped. They have a full fridge of free resources for the community and their deli case is stocked with GORGEOUS food. Come lift up this beautiful community vision.

Update to my review: For my birthday, my friends wanted to do something special for me, so they booked a charcuterie class at Neighbors & Friends! Caitlin and Kaiy put together a fabulous class on a Monday, when they’re usually closed, from 11 to 1. It was absolutely perfect and just what I needed. I love that it’s such a warm and inviting environment. They truly went above and beyond for us. I'm so excited to have a new, cute spot in Pasadena that offers so many options! From charcuterie boards and coffee to halal food, they truly have it all. Some of my favorites were the charcuterie board, the pear and Brie sandwich and the whipped honey ricotta. I took the chicken pot pie home for dinner and it was delicious. I can't wait to come back and try more items on the menu! The owners and employees are such kind and warm people, and they've created an incredible place that's sure to flourish. I'm so glad this gem is in our neighborhood!

Visited this shop yesterday with a friend and got an iced tea and an amazing smelling candle from Altadena candle company and got the friendliest service I’ve ever experienced. It’s got the loveliest neighborhood-y vibe, where my friend was recognized for having shopped there before. I was there with my baby who needed to nurse, and felt totally comfortable and safe to nurse her there. My family is displaced due to Eaton fire and we perused their free pantry and I got some new lovely cosmetics. They also have a free pantry for those in need. I watched from the window outside as they were preparing the most gorgeous charcuterie board! This is a business I will be frequenting, for sure. It’s rare to feel seen in a retail space and they managed to make it happen!

We stopped in for lunch and it was delicious. The food was also beautiful. I didn’t take pictures but I’m sure some folks do. The staff was also super friendly. On top of all that, they have a community refrigerator with fresh free items. Pretty thoughtful.

I only popped in to get a quick iced latte on this rainy Wednesday afternoon and I'm very very glad that I did. Besides the amazing kind workers and incredible coffee, this spot has so much personality to it. Lots of seating and the music is so good I was jamming in my chair! Community resources here for those affected by the fires! Kind smiles and a great variation of food options

Such a great vibe and atmosphere with the decor to the friendly staff! All the food sounded delicious, the (limited time) breakfast burrito with brisket was VERY yummy, as was the golden girls charcuterie board (love that you can make your own). The cold brew coffee with the vanilla cream top was a miss for me - I think I had a vision of something different, not bad just not for me. Will definitely be back! Oh and the owner gave us a sample of their vegan chocolate chip cookie which was chefs kiss!!!!

Intro: My girlfriend and I wanted to tryout something new around town. We saw their little shop around the corner as we walked around and we were like lets try this place out. Pros: - Croissants were amazing! It had airy consistency with some crunch. It was layered to perfection and stuffed with deviled eggs to give it some ooomf. My brain went Oooo La La. The creamy texture from the deviled eggs took it to the next level. - the staff was nice and made some recommendation for us try out. We definitely were not disappointed - we also order their tomato bisque which had a nice kick to it. - they had a nice warm ambiance when we first came in. My girlfriend loved the holiday spirit. Overall: I would recommend all the great neighbors of LA to come try this place out. Simple dishes made into a flavor bomb.

The cutest coffee shop/ gift store/ and charcuterie maker all in one! I stumbled across this small shop in old town pas and fell in love with the cozy vibes and amazing service here. I loved the date milk tea which has a unique and sweet flavor. They also have sandwiches available which looked delicious. I would definitely want to stop by in the future to pick up a trendy hosting gift or charcuterie board for a party. The tables and seating are limited but very comfortable. I studied here but had to use my hotspot which wasn't a big issue. Definitely would recommend!

Everything is excellent about this place. They donated to our fire victims. They have delicious food. They even have vegan options. And great service.

What more could you want in a shop? Warmest energy as soon as you walk in the door. It truly feels like you're visiting a neighbor. Their product selection is sooo tastefully curated. So much love and intention in every aspect of this place. Plant based options were a great surprise. 10/10 recommending everyone experiencing this place and incorporating into their go-to spots.

The entire staff at Neighbors and Friends is so welcoming, a nice first impression. When I had a coffee, Inbrought my two kids with me. My 6 year old had a Nutella hot chocolate (YES, you heard me!) and she loved it. My croissant was DELICIOUS and I grew up in Europe and am super picky! The music is also always so nice. Furthermore the owners have done SO much for the community to help the fire victims, and they didn't have to do this. My next coffee date with my friend is scheduled there already. :)

My first visit here after following Saffron Cowboy over the years! I ordered one of their top drinks, the rose milk tea with espresso! If you love rose/floral drinks, you'll love this (add the espresso, it's worth it!) The cafe is great for a date or catch up with a friend, and they have plenty of items from local vendors for the holiday season! Can't wait to come back and try more drinks + food!

What this café has been able to pull off during these devastating fires in LA has been nothing less than amazing - the staff has been doing incredible outreach to help those in need. With quality food and quality people, you can't go wrong! I look forward to continuing to support this gem!

A creative, well thought out cozy cafe with offerings to delight any palate located conveniently in Old Town Pasadena. What we tried: - DATE MILK TEA WITH ESPRESSO with oat milk: it had a subtle flavor hot, wonder if iced will bring out more of the date flavor. Delicious either way - ICED ROSE MILK TEA with espresso: such a beautiful and tasty, floral espresso drink. Just make sure to give it a swirl before enjoying - CHOCOLATE CROISSANT - CHICKEN SALAD (to go option): I enjoyed this at home with toast. Can see it pairing well with the charcuterie board or with crackers/crostinis that are available to purchase in store - BRISKET GRILLED CHEESE - absolute heaven. Smoky flavors with buttery, toasted bread. Worth taking a lactaid if lactose intolerant. I don't know if I've seen a create your own charcuterie board/box anywhere but taking note that Neighbors and Friends was the first (that I know of at the time of this review) to do it. Won't be surprised if others try to copy. What I want to try next time: - taking home a chicken pot pie to bake - grabbing a charcuterie box and taking it for a picnic at a park nearby - overheard someone raving about the flavors of their orange blossom tea (also comes with espresso? ) They also have many halal options! (Chicken salad, brisket was halal) they also have vegan options. Truly something for everyone & if you're unsure just ask! The folks working there were very nice and happy to answer any questions/make recommendations

Is everyone in Pasadena ballers now? I think I'm starting to hit my "get off my lawn" phase (which makes sense since I'm now a homeowner and a father) but the prices here are high enough to leave me feeling robbed. Idk if my neighbors and friends would nickel and dime me for every little thing but my wife stopped in the other day to get us some simple iced lattes and it came out to $20 for 2!!! $2 surcharge for cream tops and $1.50 surcharge for simple syrup on top of a base $6 latte??? So if you pay $6 you get milk and an espresso shot basically? Lol. I've kind of accepted the $6-7 latte and I'll pay $7 without balking much if it's good (I'm looking at you Mandarin) but this coffee was most assuredly mid. I get that old town rent is sky high so keep doing your thing but I've really gotta draw the line at $10 coffee. The simple syrup surcharge was the slap in the face for me - I don't think I've seen that anywhere. If you're fine with paying for the additional ambiance and vibe also be my guest just a word of warning that you might get surprised by your bill here!

This is such a great addition to Old Town Pasadena. Yes there are many coffee shops, but this place not only has their own small batch roasted coffee, but they also offer insane, customizable charcuterie boards! I sampled some of their offerings and can't wait to be back for more. I didn't take a pic of my coffee and salad, but both were excellent. I started with the rose tea and Mac salad, and left with a couple of lattes for the road. I have purchased beans from Saffron Cowboy before so it was great to be able to purchase them in person and meet the owners. Service was excellent and again the vibes were immaculate. Highly recommend!

The food is great. My grilled cheese was nice and gooey. The raspberry hibiscus ice tea was amazing. You can also do made to order charcuterie boards. The store is cashless, so be prepared for that.

This place is amazing, every single thing I tried ranks in the 'woah, this is the best version of XY ever!'. Their grilled cheese goes so well with the tomato bisque and it's pure comfort food. I got some coffee beans for at home, they make me feel so fancy. Everyone there is so friendly, so you'll definitely feel like a friend.

Really love this new place. Walked in and it was super cute. Staff were friendly and helpful. And the food was amazing. I had the coconut crème brûlée oatmeal and it was fantastic. Two of my favorite things together? Yes please!! The pistachios on top gave the perfect nuttiness and crunch. The rose petals were good and gave a nice floral touch. I also had the deviled egg stuffed croissant. This was very good. The egg salad was perfectly seasoned and the croissant had this amazing buttery flakiness. And I really loved the fried prosciutto on top. Overall, I think this place is really great and I can't wait to try the drinks the next time I go. I'm also looking forward to trying the charcuterie board and some of their sandwiches and salads which looked amazing in the case. Really excited for this new local treasure.

We loved the deviled egg stuffed croissant with crispy prosciutto on top. Has a cute little shop inside family style, eating with some small chairs inside and out. Staff is very friendly, so many cute little things to look at and taste.. 0h yeah!

I do not think words are sufficient to describe how wonderful Neighbors & Friends is. I am truly blown away, and I cannot recommend them enough. In a world that has seemingly lost touch with human connection, Neighbors & Friends truly embodies and creates an environment of hospitality and warmth where it is evident that community matters. Everyone who was working there when my husband and I went in was nothing short of amazing. They provided attentive service and made us truly like we were right at home. The food we had was out of this world. We shared the turkey sandwich and the Me Time size of the Miss Tizzle cheese box, which was all vegan cheeses, and we got a pack of gluten free crackers to go with it. As other gluten free diners may resonate with, it is often very hard to find gluten free substitutions that are up-to-par and taste decent. The gf sourdough bread that was used on our sandwich was the best gf bread I have ever had. My husband even said he wouldn't have known it was gluten free if he tasted it blindly. All together, the turkey sandwich was absolutely delicious and one of the best sandwiches I've ever had. The gf crackers we had were also so good. The cheese box we had was truly a work of art. It is absolutely amazing to have beautiful cheese boxes made so accessible, the vegan cheeses were all scrumptious, and the fruit was so fresh. Unfortunately, we had met our caffeine quota for the day when we came in, so we didn't get to try any of their coffees, but I am looking forward to it next time. There are so many delicious food and drink options that are inclusive to many different eating preferences and necessities. They also sell products from other small businesses within the store, which is amazing. Thank you, Neighbors & Friends for embodying the true heart of Pasadena. I cannot wait to come back!

Neighbors and Friends in Old Town Pasadena is a true community gem! The atmosphere is warm, inclusive, and welcoming--a space where everyone feels at home. I loved the brisket grilled cheese, and beautiful cheese platter. The date milk tea and rose milk tea were refreshing and unique and the brown sugar latte was perfectly rich and creamy. Hannah brings such a positive energy to the place, always making sure everyone feels like part of the family. It's clear this coffee shop is all about creating connections and building a sense of belonging!

I ordered 4 Mr.Rodgers Me time boxes and they were perfect !! Arranged super cute and packaged very nicely and clean! I gifted it to some friends and they loved it! The staff was also very friendly! Will definitely return for future orders!

LOVED LOVED LOVED THIS PLACE! The staff, ambiance, and food were all top tier. It was my first time coming in, I had seen a tik tok and had it on my list for a hot minute. I order the mini cheese box and the super nice lady helped me out curate my build your own. I got manchego and Brie cheese with salami. The presentation of the box was so pretty I felt guilty eating it all! The lady that helped me was what truly made my experience here a 100/10. I wish I had gotten her name so I can thank her here as well. I did not try their food but will do the next time I am in town!

Came by and was pleasantly surprised at the very nicely curated shop. It has a nice selection of gifts and a restaurant side with sandwiches and a deli box with very nice cold salads but the winner was the cheesecake they carry. HOLY SMOKES! We are cheese cake aficionados and can't believe we had never tried this LA based maker. Will definitely be back for more scrumptious finds.

such a cute little coffee shop in the heart of old town pasadena! stumbled across neighbors & friends when walking around old town. neighbors & friends, which is a coffee shop + charcuterie store all in one is such a delight and great space! the space feels warm and inviting and upon entering, someone showed me the menu & how to order the charcuterie. i didn't get a chance to try out their charcuterie board when i visited, but had an iced oat latte which was delish! i'll def be back in the future to try out their other food & drink options!

Food is AMAZING! I had a wrap and it's the best I've had in a while. And I love their in-store products for sale! but what makes Neighbors and Friends so special is their welcoming, friendly environment. They are truly integrating into and supporting the community, showing us all how the future of business can be as we build a better world.

Homey but chic atmosphere, kickass brisket fried cheese, amazing coffee--this place has it all. I could see myself bringing the girlies and sharing a custom charcuterie board or even having a chill date here. They also have local products and cookbooks which makes it a great place to stop by and get a little gift for someone. They also have a community table where you can sit with your friends or start conversation with someone--love this concept!

New fav spot! I'm obsessed with their rose milk espresso. The grilled cheese with pear + tomato soup is BOMB aaand they have a cute market filled with local goods. Cute cozy spot to meet with friends. Definitely will be coming back here!

Wife and I where just looking around. Came across this amazing place. Friendly staff and c-owener is great awell. Like that they have a variety of teas and coffee. Inside feels warm cozy. Then the food was awesome. I do like that they have the platter where u can choose ur meat, cheese, crackers, ect. Love that. It's a small business so if anyone wants to support a small business please come here.

cute in theory and i was very excited to try a new local coffee spot because the coffee in Pas is lacking. however, the cold brew looked like tea and was by far the worst I've had. the stuffed croissants sounded good but in reality were greasy, messy, and surprisingly bland. the croissant itself was beautiful but was unfortunately warmed up (something i wish was stated on the menu or by the person at the register upon ordering). overall, the branding, concept, atmosphere is nice, but actual execution fell short.

I stumbled upon this place through a recommendation on Instagram and I was sold on the personal charcuterie board. The ingredients were fresh and presentation was perfect! Service was great and the employees were kind enough to give us crackers for the long wait time so we appreciated that. We also had the Brown Sugar Latte and that was a hit (I recommend getting it with oat milk) Really cute spot in Pasadena if you wish to wind down with some good food and a cup of good coffee. Definitely coming back to try other items on the menu :D

WHERE DO I BEGIN???? First of all, this isn't a yelp review, this is a profession of my love. When I tell you I would take a bullet for Hannah(part owner) I mean I would literally jump in front of a bullet to protect her. Let me explain, I met Hannah a mere 6 months ago and like most people I was immediately captivated by her. Hannah's passion and love for building meaningful connections and community is SO inspiring. I feel so lucky I was able to watch the journey her and Kaiy went on starting this amazing cafe. All that being said you might think my opinion on the actual food & drinks is biased but I can tell you with my whole chest that this shít is GOOD. The Rose Milk Tea with Espresso????? like are you kidding me???? Anyway 1million stars 1000/10 go there and see for yourself AND GIVE HANNAH A SMOOCH FOR ME

Amazing place! Got some fresh roasted coffee and delicious pastry. The coffee was so yummy that I bought some beans to take home with me. A wonderful place with a fantastic vibe.

Neighbors & Friends has easily become my go to spot for a group hangout and coffee meet up! I am obsessed with their halal brisket grilled cheese and appreciate the family friendly ambiance and kind and helpful service! My favorite part about this place is the dynamic seating that allows you literally meet your neighbors and make new friends.

ICED ROSE MILK TEA was 10/10. Such a yummy and unique flavor, I'll need to try it with a shot of espresso next time! Service was great. All the staff were friendly and went above and beyond to make sure everyone's food and drinks were to their liking. The cafe itself was very homey and had enough seating. Toward the back of the cafe were items from local businesses. Perfect for a housewarming gift!
