Neighbors NY

DO NOT USE NEIGHBORS NY. My mother has been using this service with my grandmother for the last few months. They are unreliable and do not properly screen their employees. My grandmother has had over $600 in cash stolen from her house as well as property. My mother has cameras as you enter and leave my grandmothers house and we have video proof of a person stealing from her, and the company is "discontinuing care because it is in their best interest". Apparently their best interest isn't to protect the elderly that they care for. If you are currently using this service, please make sure you are inventorying your loved ones homes from these "caregivers".

This is the worst agency ever. They are unreliable and irresponsible. They have left my aunt in bed for days and not do anything to resolve the issue. We have called and complained and they have not done anything to resolve the issue. Their workers do not want to work and are abusive. They also have instructed their attendants not to help my aunt from the bed.

Best home care agency in Warren/Washington county.

The folks here are wonderful! We never could have been able to keep my dad at home for as long as we did. They are very caring, compassionate people and we felt at ease with the care they provided to him. They responded well and quickly - very reliable. We are so thankful we found them - great service they provided to us.

Neighbor's NY recently provided companion services for my late 96-year-old mom in her independent living apartment in Queensbury, NY during the last 5 months of her life. The quality of their service was outstanding. The caring, compassionate staff addressed mom's every need and made it possible for her to remain in her own apartment to live out her life with dignity. I could not have asked for more and would highly recommend this firm to anyone who needs assistance in caring for an aging family member.

We have had to switch agencies in Florida four times due to issues with the caregivers. Not so with Neighbors NY. We have used them continuously for four years and are so thankful we found them. I have learned that there are many things to consider when hiring an agency to take care of your loved ones. The caregivers must be trustworthy, reliable, professional and proactive in their approach to care. The caregivers at Neighbors NY are all of that and more. They are not only professional, trustworthy, reliable and proactive, they also genuinely care about my parents. They love what they do and it shows. My parents look forward to seeing their caregivers everyday and actually have a good time under their care. My mind is put at ease when my parents are in Lake George thanks to Neighbors.
