The food is bad folks. Buffalo cauliflower was undercooked, under-sauced, and under seasoned; farro salad was basically inedible and didn't have much farro in it; baked fontina was a small platter with bread cut so small it was useless for dipping into the hot cheese and a too-concentrated strip of herbs down the center instead of less of them spread throughout. On top of this for a self-proclaimed wine bar their wine list is pretty small and unexceptional. Everyone working there was really nice, and the service was great. We had a good time, but won't be returning to eat for sure.

Google
Great wine selection, along with delicious tapas and paninis. We often get the garlic shrimps and buffalo cauliflower. Both are delicious. But let’s me honest, everything here is. They always have specials on the menu as well. Absolutely love going to this place. Excellent service and great atmosphere. So happy they expanded into the space next door about a year ago. Love sitting up at the bar, but they also have a small patio and open dining area.

Amazing place for small plates! The cocktails and liquor selections were on point. I tasted through 7 courses and each one was delicious, flavorful and beautiful.

The most delicious jalapeño poppers we’ve ever had and a perfect spritz!

Google
It's amazing, just go here and enjoy. They have one of the best happy hours around with a nice food selection *** I've had to update my review. The atmosphere and drinks are still good but lately their food, portions, and dining experience has gone down hill from where it was. It's sad to say, but I wouldnt recommend anyone have their food. It's too expensive and not great good wise. Drinks, totally ... its awesome for that. I'll still come back for drinks for sure but never again with an empty stomach.

Google
One of those places where you hesitate to leave a review because you don't want it to get too busy, but I like these guys too much. Some wine bars are stuffy and this one is just relaxed and the service is great. I typically let them choose the charcuterie and I have never been disappointed, highly recommend this neighborhood spot.

This is such a nice little spot to grab some food and a drink. Also great service.

We have been visiting Neighbors Wine Bar for years. Typically, we visit once per week because we love the servers. The servers make us feel welcome and with the amazing drinks and food, it is a must for a weekly visit. Unfortunately, I met the owner and he was downright rude and dismissive. I tried to compliment you on your amazing staff and you did not want to hear it. That makes me believe you do not value your staff. Due to your behavior and dismissive attitude, I no longer want to support your business. It is sad because when we enter, your staff knows us. They know our drink order and that we do not need the blackberries. They know we do not like blue cheese. But overall, they make us feel welcome. I wish you as an owner could see the value your employees provide and how your employees add to the overall experience. But because of you, we will find another local establishment to spend our precious time with. Sorry to our favorite servers at Neighbors, and know that I feel for you.

Yelp
My friend had this placed bookmarked on her Denver list. It was my first stop while visiting. Simple designed wine bar, with a neighborhood feel. Looked like the crowd was full of regulars. Nice indoor/outdoor seating. Food - was great. We split the mini crab cakes, the Greek salad and the hot artichoke and feta dip. Everything was super yummy. Service - was great, she was a kind young lady with a nice smile. She offered us wine samples, before we decided on choice. We stayed late, and they never rushed us out. My ticket says Noto was our server. Drinks - we all had glasses of wine. I had the Contacto Alvarinho, I belive. There wine menu rotates. We enjoyed our time here.

Yelp
Just a lovely place that served tapas plates in a welcoming environment. Service was lovely and the food was fresh and delicious. Walking distance for most of their clientele which is even better!

Yelp
Stopped here for a quick drink at the bar prior to dinner reservations. Happy Hour is $2 off all drinks M-F from 4-6pm. Neighbors is a fitting name for this charming place. You could tell there were a lot of regulars as the staff called many by name. Even though it was my first time here, we were greeted warmly by both the hostess and bartender. I had an excellent hand-crafted cocktail - the Smokey Old Fashioned. I am a tequila/mezcal lover so I appreciated the use of La Luna mezcal with orange, cherry, simple syrup and an orange twist. Just as when we entered, we were warmly thanked by numerous staff for stopping by.

Yelp
Hip little tapas wine bar vibe near my friend's home to meet up for drinks- dinner! Hit the spot as we ordered bottle of wine , cheese and meat spread along with goat cheese dates! Perfect night. Service was good and I would definitely return to try some more.

Yelp
I met some friends here for just wine, so didn't try the food. It's a cute place. The service was good and so was the wine!

Yelp
This is a great spot for a chill happy hour away from the busy downtown areas! The vibes were great and they offer happy hour daily from 4-6pm with $2 off drinks and a few small bites. Their menu is also great for pairing with happy hour drinks. I enjoyed the house red, artichoke and feta dip, and olives! I would visit again.

Yelp
Yes yes and YES!!! Amazing wine selection and delicious charcuterie boards. It has the feeling of a neighborhood hang out as it is located in neighborhood so that alone made me like it that much more. I felt like I stumbled on a secret little hideaway! I will be back 10,000 more times. Going to make this my new hangout!

Yelp
I was way overdue for a review on Yelp so I am glad that I am able to write one today especially for this cute wine bar/restaurant I happened to find when I was looking for a nice place for an after-dinner drink. This restaurant is located in a very quiet neighborhood of Park Hill that has many beautiful brick homes. Its charmingly appearance as well as its ambience inside are the main ingredients of this attractive restaurant. If you are a wine lover, you'd go to this type of restaurant for a glass of wine of your choice along with a cheese/meat board. A surprising thing this restaurant offers is a tequila flight (of Grand Mayan.) My date ordered this so I got to sip all three if them and it was delicious. And it's serves on a special Grand Mayan wooden board (I will upload a picture of it.) This is a perfect place for a date night or a get-together with friends. If I lived in this neighborhood I'd come here every Friday night.

Yelp
We live down the road from this place and finally checked it out to switch up our happy hour routine. We are glad we did! It was a busy night on the patio but pretty calm inside. The hostess was busy so the chef himself greeted and sat us. It was a cute little place and top notch service. They had lots of good whisky to pick from for our old fashions and the drinks were HUGE. We were hungry too so we decided to munch on some cheese and crackers, they tasted perfect with our drinks. I'm not much of a honey guy, but that was a great little addition.

Phil J.

Yelp
Great happy hour if you can make it in. Wine flight. Small plates. Patio. It's a gem.

Yelp
Charming and lively local wine bar in the Park Hill neighborhood. They have a great selection of wine, wine flights, and appetizers and I can't wait to make this a more regular spot to visit. Cozy inside and nice little patio area when the weather is nice!

Mary Beth C.

Yelp
Espresso martinis are my thing. The bartender, Kyle, didn't disappoint. If you're looking for a late afternoon cool down, this is your spot. So worth it.

Yelp
// Summary A large wine selection, but hoping my next experience proves to be better than my first. // Experience Had a date here and we ordered two flights. Some wine was flat, and didn't taste particularly good. // Service Our server was nice and friendly, quick to seat us and to take our order. When the kitchen was closing, they wanted to make sure we could put in an order if we were hungry. // Ambiance They have a nice vibe to them, with bar seating, high tables, and normal tables available. They also have some outdoor seating available. // Convenience There's plenty of parking along the street or the side street, wasn't too hard to find a spot.

Yelp
Cute, quant little wine bar with a TON of options! Food was delicious. It was a great place to unwind after work with coworkers and grab some small plates. Would definitely recommend, and will be back again!

Yelp
Umm hello! This is such a cute restaurant in such a quaint neighborhood! Super hidden and intimate! Came here for some nice bites and a glass of wine after a stressful day at work. This cute restaurant really put my at ease. It was pretty busy but still had a warm ambiance. I ordered the house wine because it was a dollar off during happy hour and I'm no wine connoisseur so cheaper house wine? Sure! We selected one cheese, 1 meat, and two small bites. It was a nice evening. Perfect place to keep warm during the fall and winter.. like a scene in a movie! Lol.. I will say some of the small bites are a bit pricey for what they are. $8 for 2 small empanadas.. pricey.. I could have gotten a burrito lol.. but that's ok, it was a nice experience!

Yelp
So it did throw me off that the cover photo for this place is a kids plate... But there is plenty for adults to enjoy too! We came here on a Thursday night after picking up a friend from the airport. We were trying to find a cute wine and tapas place that stayed open late. I did make reservations for 3 around 8:45, but didn't really need them. We quickly ordered some tapas as the kitchen closes at 9 and drinks stop at 9:30. We each got wine flights which were great - I really enjoyed how they gave little paper slips explaining each wine. We also got some cocktails which were great too. The tapas were a bit of a letdown, the crab cakes we got were tiny and the charcuterie board wasn't much. Would come back for the drinks! But probably eat before hand.

Yelp
Quaint neighborhood spot as applied by its name. A friend recommended it as it is central for our group to meet up mid-week. We had an excellent time catching up over drinks and appetizers with attentive service. I enjoyed a red blend wine flight, and we shared the bacon wrapped cheese dates, barbecue cauliflower bites, crackers and dip. Already plan to go back!

Yelp
Great little place to enjoy drinks and food, quality drink craftsmanship and great service

Yelp
Stopped in to try some wine. Nice looking patio area and our server was good. The wine in the two flights we ordered was flat and not good. We ordered Burrata which was very good. When we went to check out, we were charged $6 more than the QR code menu stated. When we asked about it the person said the online menu wasn't updated, and that she was the owner and that's how it is. Terrible attitude and tried to gouge a few more bucks. Don't waste your time going there.

Yelp
Came here with my boyfriend the other night. I love the ambiance of this place. We had a high top table next to the bar. It might have been a bit tight had the restaurant been busy, but it wasn't when we went. The food was a bit underwhelming. We ordered the Asian crab dip with crisps as an app. I think it was the style of menu they offer that made me just assume the crab would be warm (and probably cheesy), and the crisps would be homemade. Instead we got a small serving of cold dip that was not any better than what you can but at your grocery store's deli, and premise crisps (34 Degrees crackers). The entrees were 95% paninis which was a bit disappointing. But my boyfriend ordered a pasta (one one menu, but not the other) which was really good. I ordered the Reuben which was pretty good, but I won't order it again. We still did enjoy our evening. The neighborhood is so cute, and, as I said, I really liked the ambiance of the space. Just hoping I find some better menu items next time. Or just drink more wine :)

Yelp
Rarely am I ever in this neighborhood, but back when I used to frequent Nick C's house, I found this area of town very charming and quaint. After spending the evening at the holiday party for work - we all made our way for some extra vino and bubbly. +The prosecco is on point and delicious. we opted for the bottle, as we had 4 of us drinking the bubbly. + A variety of mixed drinks and beer is also offered, which our husbands gladly drank. + Location is the cutest ever. Tucked right into the perfect little street and extremely cozy. Locals definitely flock here, but when we arrived on a Friday night, the wine bar was relatively empty, and we were able to find a spot for all 8 of us by pulling two tables together. + Staff was very welcoming and prompt with our order and talked with us a bit as well. Upscale/dive feel - which made me feel like a local because everyone seemed to know each other. + Although we didn't partake in any of the food offered, the menu looked great. I'd love to come by and try more! - Pricing is a little steep, but for the quality of wine and bubbly you're getting, it's really not that bad :) I'd love to continue, but first - wine.

Yelp
First and only time visiting. Very rude service, as if we were bothering them. Didn't have a full menu and when we finally received what they did have, a couple of appetizers, it was completely underwhelming. Won't be back. Overrated.

Yelp
We had such a great glass of wine here with family lupus appetizers. Highly recommend.

Yelp
Although I live a mile away, I hadn't checked out Neighbors before now. It was a beautiful evening, was looking to eat outside, that had a menu that was light, along with being kid friendly.... And Neighbors checked all the boxes! They have a kids menu and bring it out on a really cute portion plate. The menu has coloring and all of that. For me and my wife, we could eat salad and meat and cheese plates all day long, so it definitely hit the spot. We had the Caprese Salad, definitley recommend as the Mozzarella was great and tomatoes will only improve throughout the summer. We also enjoyed the Arugula Salad with Prosciutto, an assortment of meat and cheeses, and of course some wine. What was probably my favorite, however, was the Buffalo Cauliflower. Loved the way it was cooked and flavored but their blue cheese dip was the best blue cheese dip I have ever had.... And I have had all kinds of blue cheese dip as I am a Buffalo Wing lover! I can't believe it took me so long to come here since I live close. This definitely needs to be more of our spot as a family.

Yelp
Lively neighborhood hangout with great snacks and good wine. A great spot to pop-in before eating at Tables across the street. The crowd is eclectic and mostly local which makes for a friendly and low key vibe.

Yelp
I really wanted to love this place but it ultimately fell a bit short. A gf and i came in on super snowy day. It's a great space. I'm guessing they were either understaffed or underestimated how many people would be in there as there was only one server and I could tell she was stretched, but doing her best. None of the wine had who the producers were, or the vintages. If I'm paying $20 a glass, at a place that calls themselves a wine bar, I'd like to know who it is and what vintage it is. I guess if I loved a wine, I'd have to keep asking our already super busy server to find out for me. Our first two glasses I'm not entirely sure were the correct ones, nor given to the proper recipients. I ordered a flight of reds which were delivered out of order. I've been to other tapas/small plates style places and I know the price is a bit more for what you expect to get, but for some reason here, I felt it more. We ordered the roasted veggie tart which at over $8 was a very small, thin slice to share. It also came topped with tomatoes which aren't in season. We got the artichoke dip, which was a bit heftier in portion but came with English cucumbers among other items which tastes terrible with all booze and didn't go with the dip either. Eh.

Yelp
We were looking for a date night close enough to bike. This is one of the spots we haven't yet been so we went for it. There is a good selection of drinks - we went with a rose. On a hot evening, it was the perfect choice. We had some cheeses and meats, the poppers and artichoke dip. There are really no complaints except that they skimped on the poppers. Two? Really? Come on... for that price! In terms of taste, I was a fan of everything we had. We did sit outside - there is really no other option, IMHO, on a summer night. The inside just wouldn't have done it for me but then again I don't like being inside.

Ron J.

Yelp
We tried this restaurant and overall I'd give it a C/average rating. Nice ambiance, good drinks/beer/wine menu, but the food was very average. We tried the roasted cauliflower, faro salad, jalapeño poppers and a panini. The poppers and panini were good, but the salad was 90% arugula and the cauliflower was pretty forgettable. The wait staff seemed indifferent and bored, which didn't help make the experience enjoyable. We might return on occasion, but it'll be for drinks only.

Yelp
I've been to Neighbors a couple of times and glad I went each time. I really enjoy the tasty small dishes that they serve, as it gives me and my plus one a opportunity to try a number of different flavors during one meal. I would certainly give this Park Hill restaurant a chance.
google avatar

Yelp
I love their cheese plates and vegetarian options. Maggie and Sarah are really great bartenders! Highly recommend.
google avatar

Megan B.

Yelp
I wish dearly that I lived close enough to make this place my local hangout. It is sooo cute. They've got a full bar and a recipe for chocolate cake is painted on the wall as decor. The cheese plates are reasonably priced and curated by the staff/chef. So many wine choices that are diverse and affordable. They offer cheese plates but also bigger dishes like paninis, salads and the like. The bacon wrapped dates were delish! I can't wait to go back for a girls night!
google avatar

Kristina B.

Yelp
This place always delivers is a lovely atmosphere with excellent quality food and drink. I want to thank Greg personally for turning my day around after a really hard day and being not the kindest customer at first I really appreciate you and what you brought to the neighborhood Greg.
google avatar

Brittany C.

Yelp
I really like Neighbors! It's a great spot to grab some wine and cheese with girlfriends. The charcuterie boards are beautifully crafted, the ingredients are fresh, and the portions are pretty good. I enjoyed the artichoke dip too! Wines are $2 off until 6 pm, but I wish they had happy hour specials on the food too.
google avatar

Chelsea R.

Yelp
We went here for some weeknight drinks and apps and were not disappointed. I have never been somewhere that does wine flights. Maybe that is more reflective of me but still I was so excited. We each did one wine flight, one white and one red as well as a charcuterie board for a snack. I will definitely be back in the near future!
google avatar

Yelp
Since remodeling and claiming the space next to them, they expanded and now it is even bigger and better. The place has an amazing vibe. It is warm an inviting. It's the perfect place for a date. Dark with romantic lighting. They have a great beer and wine list. They have a great happy hour. Beers are sometimes 2 for 1. They have small plates, sandwiches and soup. The food is really good and pairs well with the drinks. The staff is really friendly. You will always see the owner in there. He will work back in forth between the bar and kitchen and always checking to make sure everything and everyone is having a great time. He definitely takes pride of his place and his work. So if you are looking for a good glass of wine and some cheese, seek no more. Check them out !

Karen F.

Yelp
Good food and wine! The owner is great! He came by the table to make something right while we were there. Looking forward to my next trip to Denver and another trip to Neighbor's!

Yelp
On a cold, winter night, I was transported to the east side of New York City. Huddling into the place quickly for a surprise birthday, I felt like I had found a neighborhood spot that was welcoming and felt familiar, even though I've never been before. The food was delicious, the service was good, and the drinks were delicious. Strong, and a little too delicious to keep me from ordering another.
google avatar

Tiffany N.

Yelp
Neighbors is my favorite place to have a drink and a snack in the area. It's cozy and they have great wines, beers, cocktails, and snacks. Plus the owner is just about the nicest man I've met in a long while. An added bonus is that the longer they stay open the better the food menu gets. It now boasts a soup of the day, a small selection of sandwiches, and changing cheeses/meats in addition to other small bites and salads. Sir Nicholas and I are definitely regulars and I don't see that changing any time soon.
google avatar

Lindy S.

Yelp
Love Neighbors! Such a great little neighborhood spot. People bring their dogs and kids, and though we haven't, I like that we can bring our dogs and daughter. And I like that I've been able to pet some sweet neighbor dogs while at Neighbors. I always get wine when I come here, but they also have a good beer selection. The flights are fun, and the small plates that we've tried have been great: castelvetrano olives, the small cheese and meat plate (which is actually quite large), and baked fontina. My only wishes: that I could go more often and that they stayed open later so that I could stay longer when I do get to go.

Yelp
So....my wife and I really aren't that picky. We like good food but we are typically pretty happy with most meals we have. But this meal at Neighbors was pretty darn bad. We left, still hungry, after a salad and cheese/meat platter because it wasn't even worth ordering more. I wouldn't be surprised if they bought all their ingredients from Costco and just marked it up. To start off, the arugula salad we had was abysmal. Horribly bad. The arugula and the dressing wasn't even mixed well. The prosciutto was flavorless and even the Parmesan was stale and chewy. Like how do you screw up Parmesan? The lemon vinaigrette had such a fake lemon taste you couldn't even eat the salad. The artichokes on there were most likely canned. Two of the cheeses we had weren't flavorful at all. We didn't even finish them and it's rare we don't clean our plates - especially with cheese! The aged cheddar we had was good. We had a spicy salami with junipers which was really good and the best part of the meal. The Cab we had wasn't bad either. Long story short, stay away. I have no idea how it has 4.5 stars.

Yelp
U P D A T E : We visited Neighbors again with a friend visiting from out of town. We had a much better service experience this time around (food was still great) and have added a star as a result! :-:-:-:-:-:-:-:-:-:-:-:-:-:-:-: While walking the 'hood one recent Thursday eve with my son, we decided to pop in for a spontaneous mama/son dinner date. He (super picky) ordered the meatball panini, which he loved, and I had some sort of ham panini, which was also very good! We ordered cookies to go, which they apparently baked fresh for us and were still warm and gooey after the walk back home. As far as food goes, they don't have a ton of offerings but what they do have is well done and delicious. Unfortunately, we received pretty poor service the night we were there. It wasn't busy and we sat on the patio where only half of the tables were occupied. Perhaps our server didn't like our running clothes or the fact that we weren't ordering alcohol, I don't know, but she *completely* ignored us. She never checked on us and failed to notice that both of our glasses were bone dry (and had been for a while) when she brought our meals. We had to flag her down (twice!) before she finally brought one refill. What's even more weird is that, throughout our meal, a manager-looking person lurked in the entryway less than 10' away, frequently surveying our table (in which our empty glasses were in full view), and also never said anything to us! At one point even my 13-yr-old noticed and said, "Are we invisible?" After our meal, our server unceremoniously dropped the check and then appeared put out when we asked about dessert. It was an odd and disappointing dining experience. B O T T O M L I N E : Despite the poor service, the food was good, they're only 7 blocks away, and we've heard good things from our neighbors, sooo...we'll probably give them another chance.

Yelp
Cute neighborhood, cozy bar, with an awesome wine selection and an extended happy hour. Gluten free options are plenty (just cant have paninis), and food is tasty. We have the carpacio, bacon wrapped dates (which were more sweet than savory), nduja (which wasnt our thing), drunken goat cheese, and jalapeno poppers. Everything was good, reasonably priced and decently filling. If you enjoy eating tapas style, this is the place to go. Service is friendly, attentive and prompt. Cocktail list, beer and wine lists are lengthy, and I could see myself coming here frequently once I move to the neighborhood. The place wasnt packed or overly loud, family friendly, yet suitable for date night. Very pleased and looking forward to living closer to here!

Yelp
Love this "neighbor" hood bar! Live near by & love the sweet Park Hill neighborhood. Went for a late night date and we had a blast! Great intimate little bar. Ordered a panini, meat & cheese plate, & amazing wine. We will be back soon... Meat & cheese & GOOD WINE are my fave things Plus I love the wine rack along the wall! Wonderful chef! Very personable!

Lisa K.

Yelp
Relaxed vibe that lives up to the name. Good wine and tapas. I'd like to go back to try the paninis. Wish they had more desserts. The steak tapas is good but usually chewy and seems boiled.

Yelp
We had a great evening on the patio tasting wine. I was able to order the samples of white wine. The waitress was very helpful describing the wines. She said the list changes frequently so I will return to taste some others.

Yelp
Great food, exceptional service. You get the best in the world behind the bar, and not just for drinks. The food service and attention to detail was spectacular. Thank you, Chad!

Yelp
We had an amazing time drinking wine on the patio! This spot is friendly, cozy and amazing! Being able to ride our bikes here is an added perk for us for sure :)

Yelp
I like Neighbors, I really do. Just like the name indicates, a little neighborhood wine bar that feels like you're hanging out in a place everyone is welcome. Wines by the bottle, the glass and cheese for days! I love the ordering system, which reminds me of what you'd use for ordering sushi rolls. Take the tiny golf pencil and indicate how many servings of each you'd like on the list of paper. Buffalo mozzarella is always good along with aged cheddar. Add a panini with Brie and it's a good day. In true Denver fashion, everyone who works here is kind and considerate. Like a good Neighbor.

Yelp
The most ideal restaurant for a calm and collected wine night with the girls or date night! The baked cheese was to die for and the BBQ panini was extremely flavorful. I will be returning to this restaurant very soon. The only thing I was surprised about was the price was a little high for the small proportions of food that was received. If you are really hungry this isn't the place for you.
