I purchased Estée Lauder products totaling $294.45 for Mother's Day. Unfortunately, I had a change of heart and attempted to return the Neiman Marcus Estée Lauder products to the downtown Dallas store, only to be met with resistance from a very prude, and racist white woman, who refused to acknowledge at the counter for 10 minutes while I stood at her counter. Instead of acknowledging me, she said, I have to take care of my customer online order few before I help you before I help you. With a horrible attitude she began to fuss about. Why did I come to her counter, despite the product, being Estee Lauder, and being an opened, and accompanying a receipt of purchase that was just three days ago. As professionally as I could, I remain quiet and then she said "few people come in here making demands" I then said, "who is....you people?"
I told her "whenever you finish if you could just process my return I would greatly appreciate your help." I kindly said "that's fine, I have a return". She then said "well if it's perfume or something, you need to take it somewhere else cause I'm very busy!" I continued to stand and wait for service--and told her that it was Estee, Lauder, foundation, and products that have been unopened, and when she could--I can kindly wait on her to process the return.
She then rolled her eyes and turned her back and continued doing what she was doing for several minutes. She then proceeded to talk over me, and as I tried to explain to her that I had paid $150 on my master debit and $144.45 on my Neiman Marcus charge card, she then was over talking me and never processed the credit correctly. Eight days later I try to speak with capital one in Neiman Marcus at the downtown location. It was met with resistance.
I never received my return of $150 on my MasterCard debit which is concerning. I was told that they only way they could fix it was to charge my Neiman Marcus $294.45, and then I need to bring back my debit and they will issue a refund, this is not happening. When I return back to the store, instead, they charge my NM card $294.45 and reversed the wrong amount. It was too overwhelming to continue to address. I still can't comprehend how $150 was charged my Neiman Marcus card. But it's not worth the hassle for me to go back and try to dispute.
