The Best Cafés in Quebec City - Eater Montreal

"Third-wave café Nektar Caféologue now has three locations across the region: St-Roch, Limoilou, and St-Nicolas, where the company has recently embarked upon roasting its own coffee. Offering a wide range of hot and cold drinks including fudge brews and fusion infusions, Nektar is a popular hangout among young professionals and students. Also, there’s free wifi and clean restrooms." - Allison Van Rassel

Great selection of beans, and lots of seating with power plugs everywhere. It's also nice and quiet on the weekend with little to no tourists. The coffee is fine but not great, and the croissants are also fine but not great. The atmosphere is a bit sterile, but it's also just quiet and comfortable. The beans are absolutely excellent though.

This cafe had one of the best coffees I’ve had in a long time. Super rich, flavorful, and exactly what I needed. The place itself was great for working too. They had high comfy chairs facing the window, so you could just sit there for hours, enjoy the view, and get things done. The view was honestly beautiful and made the experience even better. The service was okay, nothing special, but no complaints either. They didn’t have a lot of food or pastry choices, but whatever they had looked and tasted fresh. But really, the coffee was the star of the show. I’d come back just for that.

I had a good flat white at this coffee shop. The espresso taste was like a milk chocolate. Perfect foe milk temperature, and form is smooth. It was really tasty. The barista was friendly. The atmosphere is beautiful, and some plants are there that makes me comfortable.

A lovely coffee bar with excellent coffee and exceptionally friendly staff. During our visit to Quebec City, stopping here for our morning coffee quickly became a daily routine.

The coffee here is excellent! Unfortunately i came late in the day, so they were out of pastries to try. 😢. The service was really good; friendly and quick. Lots of nice seating. I'll definitely come back if in the area.

We got an iced latte. The latte was shaken and well mixed. Flavor wise it was more on the acidic tart side, which is not my preference. Service was good. There was only one person working, but he was quick to give us our order. Overall the space is very beautiful, clean, and relaxed, although on a Monday afternoon there were only 3 other people. They have lots of tables with outlets and free Wi-Fi so this would be a good place to do some work. The street is a little rougher (maybe because there are multiple vape shops nearby).

Unfortunately, the hot chocolates were not hot at all. Filling more than half of a large mug with room-temperature milk made the drink lukewarm. The atmosphere was nice.

Great coffee spot with delicious pastries. Croissants are so airy and tasty. Chocolatine pastry a must try. And the abricot pastry so fresh and to die for. And last but not least almond croissant. And the maple late was so velvety smooth. Place was very clean and staff were super friendly and spoke French and English. Definitely stop in to this spot in Quebec City.
