"New Hope’s Nektar Wine Bar offers cozy outdoor seating, including covered dining options, and an impressive wine menu and tapas offerings. Choose your favorite classic reds and whites or sample a new varietal from the wine bar’s continually rotating collection as you savor small plates, such as Thai curry scallops, tuna tacos, and octopus, or opt for a more filling fare of maple bacon grilled cheese or lobster BLT sliders. The expansive dessert menu is also one to explore, with sweet dishes such as dark chocolate pudding, black currant cheesecake, and strawberry shortcake filling the roster." - Kristen Kwiatkowski

Create your ideal cheese and charcuterie platter from a wide array of options, including calabrese salami, aged goat gouda, Spanish chorizo, and tallegio. The small plate menu at this wine bar is expansive, with offerings that include seafood gumbo, truffle fries, Korean fried wings, and beef Wellington. In addition to an impressive wine list, this cozy Bucks County dining spot also caters to the beer and whiskey-loving crowd with its expanded libations selection." - Kristen Kwiatkowski

Nectar is quite the gem of a find. Huge assortment of wines and cocktails along with many small plate (quality) dishes. Very Mediterranean with the food choices with some unique items. The Petnat and Pinot Noir wine parings were great. Be sure to bring friends as the food is meant to be shared. Will definitely be back as there way to many great dishes yet to be experienced.

My poor review kills me. I love this place , but today the service is horrendous. I’m siting at the bar. The bartender never brought a menu ; I happened to grab one from a nice patron next to me. We waited awhile for him to ask us for a drink and then never really talked to us again. The manager is on the computer and his cell phone the entire time. My husband asked the manager for a flatbread. We did receive it but then were never offered anything for an extended matter of time. At this point I want to get out of here I asked to sample two wines and did get a sampling but could barely hear the mumbling of the bartender. I will say it was not crowded at all I can understand if the place is packed but it is not

Our visit to Nektar Wine Bar was fantastic! The extensive selection of drinks offers a lot to choose from. The food was excellent too - the Korean Fried Wings, Mushroom and Goat Cheese Flatbread, and Panko Shrimp were all delicious. Mia was a perfect host and took great care of us.

Had a great time here. I celebrated my anniversary today. Had a wonderful meal. Small plates but robust servings. Great for sharing. The deck had great vibes overlooking the water and Main st. We also met a great couple and had a hilarious conversation.

We went to celebrate our wedding anniversary Tuesday night at Nektar, we aligned on a romantic spot in New Hope overlooking the Playhouse minus the weekend tourist crowds. We were very excited as we arrived on time for our 5 pm reservation, and had a choice of tables for 2 out back on the upper deck, yet kitchen food prep issues marred our overall experience for the price point. We were drawn by the 4.2 star (out 721 reviews) but unfortunately, our experience was a 3 - 3.5 at best. This in no way reflects on Afrodite our server nor the large array of menu choices both foot and especially on libations. In summary, 2 of our 5 small plate dishes were well over cooked-- the pork tamales were burnt on the ends and dry and the dish I had my heart set on, the Chilean Sea Bass was well overcooked with dry uninspiring flavor. Very upsetting due to the cost of the dishes and the point that when we were served the place was virtually empty... should never had happened. As for the other dishes they too missed the point by being a few steps just above room temperature leading us to under if many dishes are prepared ahead of time and left to sit until ordered and then possibly heat lamp heated. Here's what we ordered: Opened with the beet salad (this was perfect), followed by the pork tamales, followed by the scallops (this was very good, but could have been warmer), chilean sea bass which was overcooked and dry, and lastly the Panko Shrimp which was okay. The certainly win for plating presentation as you'll see in my photos but with the other options in town, we'd think really hard about returning.

My wife and I went out for an early Valentine's Day lunch. Wine samplers were good and the food was EXCELLENT!

I just had such an amazing experience here with a dear friend. We had not checked this place out yet, but dear lord we are happy we finally have. We were greeted very graciously, and friendly, by the bartender, and quickly seated. Brittany was our server, and her hospitality was out of this world. She was attentive, knowledgeable, and guided us to a delicious meal. For food we had the scallops small plate and the short rib over mashed. The scallops came in a succulent, delicious, sauce and were absolutely tender and who exactly how a good scallop should taste! The short rib, beautifully fell apart with the slightest Touch ID the fork. I had a Belgian Pale Ale, which was wonderful, although I am blanking on the name. We passed on deserts but got 3 tastings of desert wines, and each was phenomenal. I have had Grahams Ruby before, but I truly enjoyed this tasting. We had an incredible time. Brittany was the star of the show, with her incredibly attitude, hospitality, and knowledge, she was like a conductor in a beautiful symphony. We will certainly be back. I look forward to frequent this homely place again.

This place is lovely. Surprised to be able to grab a table on a lovely Sunday. The view was really nice and calming. The atmosphere is mature and uplifting. The food was good. I struggle with all the small plates, but still good. Amazing wine menu.
