The smoothies here are absolutely fantastic, i love how they make them with all real ingredients! I look forward to getting one when i can, However i will say the service is pretty slow I was waiting for almost an hour for my smoothie and the workers are reserved and don’t really make you feel that welcomed. The drinks are amazing though and you m ow I’m gonna come back for more.

The only thing that could improve my experience with this company is a massive reduction in plastic waste. Rental bowls? Bring from home? I don’t know, anything. That’s not a complaint specific to this company, or this location; they could just have even more of my business if they got rid of the garbage. Great recipes, love the ingredients. What’s next?

Love this place. The smoothies, juices and bowls are always on point. Everyone that works here is very friendly, I truly love the staff. The only downside is they always are short staff. Usually two people working which personally don’t think is enough. Sometimes they can be pretty slow, even when you order ahead of time on the app. I do think the Roseville location is a bit better only because they have more staff which orders come out quicker. Very dark inside for a juice bar. Preservatives and thickeners in the already made juices. The smoothies are pretty good. Customer service could improve significantly.

The manager Kamu is super friendly and professional! Also, every time I come here Simran is always so nice and is very knowledgeable about the menu. Overall, I received amazing customer service and will be back.

They just loss a loyal customer like I literally come here all the time. I came all the way across town to order at bowl from this exact location. The hours of operation says close at 6 PM. Well I arrived at 5:40 and the guy told me they were closed and the sign says closed. It still is not 6 PM but OK.

I really want to love this Nekter location on 20th Street because I'm here every single day and I spend anywhere from $21-$60 daily, depending on whether I'm ordering just for myself or for others. At these prices, the least I expect is for my order to be made correctly -- but unfortunately, it's been a hit or miss, and mostly a miss. I've been coming here for the past month, and honestly, they've only gotten my drink right maybe two times, and that's after I reminded them exactly how I wanted it. When an $11 drink is wrong 95% of the time, that's not acceptable. I understand mistakes happen once in a while, but this isn't "once in a while" -- it's nearly every day. I usually go to another Nekter location and never have these issues, so I know it's possible for things to be done right. I'm hoping this 20th Street location gets it together soon because I truly enjoy Nekter, but I might have to go back to my usual store if this keeps happening. When you're spending this much every day, you just want your order to be done correctly.

I didn't know this location existed and was in the area so yelp pulled this up. It's clean and well kept. I loved the line smell it had you. Entrance. It's pretty cozy inside which is expected based on the area! I places an inkjet order which i arrived 5 mins early for and when i got there i was the only person in besides the 2 i saw working. One was wiping down and the other making me order. I was quickly acknowledged by both and told my order was being worked on at the moment. They were very kind and prompt. I got the superfood bowl and a juice o forgot the name but it was orange and tasted like yummy ginger! You can never go wrong with one of their bowls they are well worth the price!

I came here for a acai bowl. my husband go one of the proteins smoothie. The service was pretty quick. There is street parking outside. The restaurant has a few tables and so we both sat and ate and enjoy our snack.

Delicious and refreshingly light. The only drink option that does not contain a nut-based milk alternative. And it looks good as it tastes. Naturally sweetened with agave syrup. Perfect for hot summer days.

First time trying Nekter in Sacramento. Pricey, but health comes at a price. Would come again.

first timer. service was slow and the bowls are a little pricey. we got the açaí mango bowl & dragon fruit bowl. it was not all that great. I wanted to love it... maybe we got a bad batch of fruit? it wasn't fresh and very mushy. the portion size is huge, it's unfortunate that it didn't taste as good as it looks.

This is their PB fit bowl. It was SOOOO GOOD! And you get a ton of food and topics. Service was fast and prices are decent. Definitely recommend for a healthy breakfast or snack. I took one home to my husband and it didn't melt in the car.

Workers are so welcoming and kind. The drink isn't ginger strong, it's perfect. Very clean.

The dragon fruit smoothie bowl was pretty good! But when I was there one of the employees was talking on the phone on speaker very loudly in the front table area. Not the best ambiance but decent smoothie!

AMAZING - WOW! PB&J Bowl from Nekter is my new favorite açaí bowl. Nekter is always consistent in quality and service and definitely recommend if you want something that is on the healthier side and tastes great.

The customer service was very good and accommodating to me being dairy-free as well as gluten-free

Drinks are delicious and healthy, but pretty pricey. The service is ok. The ambiance inside is rough. It gets extremely loud inside, so just wait outside. They will bring your drinks to you outside too. Also, I recommend drink your smoothie outside, not much of a vibe inside.

To those of you devoted Jamba Juice fanatics, "Nekter Juice Bar" is definitely a step up in every way possible. When I mean step up, I am talking overall quality, ambiance, and customer service experience. Their locations in general dwarf in comparison to Jamba with just a few sporadically located in the Sacramento area, a few in the Central Valley, and a small handful in Los Angeles. The location I am focusing on is in the heart of Midtown Sacramento on 20th St. directly in between J and K St's. Parking here is non-existent as this place neighbors a ton of eateries, bars, nightclubs, and retail shops. Which I why I recommend arriving here by foot, bike, scooter, or rideshare. I came here by bike on the afternoon of Sunday 5/23/2021 at around 4:15pm. After entering, I was surprised to see no customers in here. This meant a very quick ordering turnaround time. However, they were actually busy taking phone orders while other customers were waiting outside for the smoothies/bowls as no indoor seating was allowed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The inside though was well-lit with a very easy to read menu, a couple of baskets where they sell snacks, and a refrigerated area that sells bottled beverages, small snacks, water, and wellness shots. After deciding on their extensive juice, smoothie, and bowls selection, I finally settled with a 16 oz. size of their "PB Mocha" priced at around $7.50 before tax. Granted this place is priced higher than some of their main competitors but the main factor was determining how well the taste test went. My drink itself had a unique blend of peanut butter, cold brew coffee, house made cashew milk, vanilla protein, banana, cocoa nibs, and agave nectar. After the 7-minute wait for my smoothie (which was a little on the longer side with no customers), the employee brings it out to me. I was quite impressed with the flavor, consistency, and taste as this had more of a subtle flavor without all the added sugar found in a lot of smoothies that are similar to this one. Definitely a pleasant surprise as the protein kept me full while maintaining my energy for a couple more hours riding my bike around Midtown. All in all, "Nekter Juice Bar" is definitely an above average place to cool you off or to provide all the nutrients to help conquer the day. I was a little put off with the employee having a very unemotional vibe but that wasn't enough for me to deduct a star from this place. With that said and done, I am giving Nekter a solid four stars.

Got back home from a trip & needed something to rejuvenate myself, so this spot popped up on Grubhub. I ordered delivery and it took about 25-30 minutes since it was early. I had to get the Celery Detox to help me cleanse my insides, & so it did. About an hour later was when I needed to let everything out. I felt amazing afterwards. This is also my first time having celery juice & my verdict on the taste is funky. I don't mind it though & would get it again. I also got a Dragon Bowl & I loved it. The açaí was blended well & there were enough fruits to have with each bite. The dragon fruit has a nice light flavor I was looking for too. I couldn't finish it in one sitting so I saved it for later but make sure you put it in the freezer, or it'll melt.

I haven't been back to Nekter in quite a long time but we were craving açaí bowls and I knew Nekter was a solid option. Even though the seasonal pumpkin bowl was calling my name, I decided to go with the açaí peanut butter and my husband got the protein power bowl. Our total for the two bowls came out to $20, wow! I don't remember it to be that pricey but at least you get quality fruits here and it doesn't taste as sugary as Jamba Juice. Downside today was that our order took 20 minutes to come out. Since it's a small shop, they ask you to wait outside to maintain the social distancing/capacity limits. It was a very long and cold wait! When our bowls finally came out and we went to go sit down to eat them, I noticed she didn't substitute the green apples with bananas like I requested when ordering. Not a big deal, at least I got my bananas still. However I think it would be super important to pay attention to those details in case somebody was allergic to something that they had requested a substitution for. The taste of my bowl was great, definitely more strong in peanut butter flavor than açaí. I wish they would've at least filled my bowl up to the top though if I'm going to pay for that price point. My husband's bowl was filled closer to the top at least. Nekter has great options but seems to be hit and miss with wait times and consistency of the product. They're still great in my book though and I will continue to recommend them to anyone looking for açaí bowls downtown!

I started being mindful of what I eat post workout, and I found this cute little spot in midtown. They sell all kinds of açaí bowls and juices, I come and sit outside and enjoy the farmers market every Saturday. Definitely recommend if looking to eat something healthy. You can also pre order if you download the app which makes life easier. Definitely has become my go to spot.

Fresh fruit and other ingredients made to order. Vegan & gluten free options as well. Service was good and friendly. Small location with interesting art decor covers some of the walls.

Omg! My first time coming for a yummy, but healthy smoothie and this spot did not disappoint! Located across from the dope LGBT Center, it was such a nice break from Starbucks. The staff are super chill and took a moment to help me make my order to my flavor profile! Try the Strawberry Banana (I skipped the cashew milk) with the chia jam, vanilla powder, agave nectar, half OJ and half coconut water!!! The bomb!!!!

This place is soooo so good for smoothie bowls. Would highly recommend coming here for you acai or pitaya bowls. They're so cheap compared to other places and they definitely fill up your bowl!!! I got the immunity bowl which is about $11 and it's soo filling and packed to the top. I've paid over $12 for a smaller and less filling bowl at other places so this was a steal to me!! There's also other bowls here that are under $10 and they still pack your bowl. The portions here are great and cheap. Download the app to get a free 16oz smoothie and to order ahead :)

I used to come to this location often and I think recently they changed ownership. It's clearly not under the same owner as before and staff have completely changed. I came here on Saturday during the Midtown Farmers market (4/29). I ordered a Peanut Butter Smoothie and my husband ordered a Tropical Cooler. We waited almost 20 mins for our order. They had four staff members from what I can see, but only one person making smoothies. The wait was just ridiculous for two smoothies. I think staff sensed that we were annoyed with wait times and came over to ask what we ordered. I watched the employee make my smoothie. She overfilled my cup, but then proceeded to pour the contents back in the blender. I ended up with less smoothie contents in my cup and it wasn't filled to the brim. You think it would be filled since I paid $8 for a smoothie. When she poured it back into the blender, my cup ended up being sticky from the residue. She proceeded to hand me that cup without even cleaning it. I requested a new cup, so that I can pour my smoothie into a cleaner cup and that my hands wouldn't be sticky. She didnt say anything to me when I asked. Didn't acknowledge me, didn't apologize, and just handed me the empty cup with so much attitude. I originally gave a tip, but I should've gave her a tip at the counter to readjust her attitude. She may have had a bad day, but it doesn't excuse treating a customer so rudely. And when I took a sip of the smoothie, it was bland. The quality has gone down quite significantly. I won't be back. You're better off getting a smoothie at the market or at nugget market.

I like it. That's the best way I can describe my acai bowl this morning from Nektar. The freshness of it was super welcoming, as it was blended acai, strawberries, pineapples, blueberries, bananas, cashew milk, and coconut milk. And you could taste it all. It was also topped with granola, more strawberries, blueberries, bananas, and almonds. I think having had acai at other places kept me from shouting praises for Nektar Juice from the rooftops. The acai was more like a smoothie/milkshake, and I'm used to a thicker consistency that is strong enough to hold up my toppings. Not frozen, but just richer and thicker (I think it might be the cashew milk). The serving size was very large for the price tag of 8.50, so that was very good, but I'm not sure I'll go again.

Normally, I would give this Nekter a solid 4 stars because they offer a variety of smoothies, juices, and vegan treats. It is definitely a good healthy juice bar near work. However, the past two times me and my coworker visited for their Limited Time Ice Cream Flavors. We were both disappointed. Not only were the flavors lacking or on the subtle side, but the "scoop" was hallow! (Refer to recent photos below). For a hefty $4-5 scoop, we feel ripped off. I know we pay for the specialty and convenience for this small cup of ice cream but at least give us a full scoop?? In the past, the Ice Cream portions were much more fuller scoops. What happened? I love the offerings of this place but I can't help but notice the stinginess kicking in especially with the chia parfait cups being noticeable half full. I do not think I want to order these items again.

I was debating between the two acai bowls available and opted for the superfood option. I was in a hurry so I had to take this to go. They packed everything up for us with lids and I was on my merry way. I thought the acai bowl was pretty good. Luckily, it didn't melt all the way before I was able to try it. The toppings were fresh and they definitely didn't skimp out. Will definitely be back again for more. On the other hand, I checked in for a ginger shot. That was a pretty strong shot so I ended up sipping it between bites of my acai bowl. Make sure you check in to try it out yourself! Will definitely be back again in the future. Summer's coming up so this will be a great way to keep myself nice and cool while giving myself a healthier option than having ice cream all the time.

new staff needs better training....my bowl tasted like ice (no taste) barely any fruit and missing the cocao nibs i paid for. been coming here long time 3 to 4 times a month but wont be if this happens again update: order was a acai banana berry bowl with cacao nibs...pickup around 3:42pm. this was second time nibs were forgotten...had to walk all the way back from car with a child to let them know. no one answered the phone.

These juices seem to all be apple based... so if you are looking for sweet this place is good. When drinking fresh juice I am looking more in terms of health based than I am flavor and that's where my rating stands. I do not see this place as a health juice bar, rather just yummy drinks. Nice employees and quick service.

Use to love this place until today, called three times, phone rang for my whole drive to the place. Ok maybe they are busy, I thought. Nope just lazy, three workers, one customer in the building. Then "Karen" as she said her name was was hired as a manager. Now she thinks she can have attitude towards customers, I been coming here since before she worked here and now I wont come back until she is gone, she was very rude because she said most people pay with 20s, I guess nobody there is responsible enough to approve a $50 bill. Then I asked if a manager could approve it one time and she just said they would rather not have my business. So I let them know how I felt a left. Good business bad manager

This place USED to be great, but must have changed ownership in recent months. The first time we came in under the new ownership we had a coupon on the app we were going to use. For some reason, it wasn't working when scanned. The person at the register (I believe the owner) kept questioning the coupon on if it was valid or not-it was and we showed him multiple times. He even came over when we waited for our drinks and asked my husband to pull it back up on his phone again. Awkward! It was a valid coupon on the app, why is this such an issue? Since then, we have gone back a couple of times, but we've definitely noticed the juices and smoothies taste much different from what they used to taste like, and are inconsistent every time. They are watered down and it seems like whatever the cheapest ingredient is, is what they put the most of in their drinks so that's all you taste. We've given them a few chances, but I think we won't be going back anymore. Super disappointing because we used to love coming here.

If you are "backed up," then I hiiiiiighly recommend you down The Sublime from Nekter Juice Bar! No joke, make sure you are near a restroom, waiiiit I miiight be over exaggerating, joking not joking? Heh. I tried Nekter Juice Bar for the first time last Sunday, not because I was backed up but because my husband wanted to try a new juice bar in our neighborhood. I'm SO glad we tried it because they offer delicious, all-NATURAL juices that are sure to make you smile. I enjoyed The Sublime, which was a very refreshing, crisp drink that consisted of lime, orange, parsley, kale, spinach and cucumber. It's a tangy blend of citrus and greens that will cleanse the system like no other. Lol. It's good, don't let me discourage you. Try it ;)

I absolutely LOVE Nekter Juice Bar and enjoyed it regularly when I lived in Southern California (they are everywhere down there). So when I heard that there was a Nekter Juice Bar open in the Lavender Heights part of town, I couldn't wait to try my old favorite spot! I happened to bike down while the Midtown Farmer's Market was going on, which was great and gave me another reason to hang out and explore while I enjoyed my açaí bowl. Parking any other day can be a little tricky down in this part of town; it is mostly metered or pay-to-park lots but I bet they get a lot of local foot traffic. Same menu (with a few new items) and same straightforward ingredients that I had come to love. I ordered the classic Banana Blueberry Strawberry açaí bowl, topped with granola, fresh sliced banana, blueberries, fresh sliced strawberries, and agave nectar. For $8.60, these are some of the freshest and most affordable açaí bowls in town. I cannot wait to come back and get my açaí fix again.

Felt like having smoothies today and decided to order ahead on UberEats for pick up. The app said my order was complete so I left work on my lunch break to go pick up. When I got there, one of my orders (Greenie) wasn't ready. I checked in on Yelp and was able to use their free ginger shot offer! It was spicy-ish but I liked. In no time my smoothie was ready and the guy had upgraded my order to a size larger then the one I previously ordered. However, I noticed the drink did not have whey as I had requested while placing the order online. Greenie was really delicious. Made of parsley, spinach, kale, celery, cucumber, lemon and apple for that hint of sweetness. This drink is loaded with all the best nutrient rich veggies and refreshing!

Finally got to visit the downtown Sac location after seeing all the gorgeous pics on IG as well as recommendations from friends. It was a Friday afternoon at 4PM. Fortunately we found parking right out front, as the area is pretty heavy with traffic due to restaurants and shops in the area. I frequent the Stockton and Roseville locations and midtown Sac seems smaller. It was dark inside, unlike the vibrant ambiance at the other two locations I've visited. There were two customers inside when we arrived. We ordered the turmeric sunrise which was delicious. I only saw two people behind the counter, and the orders seemed to take long. Granted the other stores had at least double the staff but also at least double the customers so the wait seemed long or that the employees don't work as swiftly. Employees were nice but flat in terms of personality and enthusiasm. Perhaps it was a bad day, short staffed, but definitely a departure from the two other locations that I frequent so I've become accustomed to the Nekter "culture." The downtown location also isn't the best since I'd drive in as opposed to walking or light rail, so not sure if I'd return considering the overall experience. I did enjoy the smoothie however.

So I didn't get a picture of the pitaya bowl I got today. It was such a pretty color, AND looked way too bomb not to just dive into. Now that is NOT to say this bowl pictured wasn't incredibly enticing too. But, it was my first bowl from this spot and I didn't know how delicious this thing would be. So, I made the time for a picture. During covid, I've been hesitant to order food that has to be served at a certain temperature. I feel bad making it sit and being disappointed when it's too hot/cold. BUT, Nekter really made sure this was served to be eaten no matter WHEN I got there (e.g. putting it in a fridge when my dumbass lagged to pick it up). The service there is so incredibly sweet. I remember the girl who made my bowl said she didn't know if I wanted extra berries IN or ON my bowl, SO SHE DID BOTH?! Okay so here's the added cash tip on TOP of the mobile tip. It looks like a lot of the folks working here are pretty young and they're putting their health at risk being at work to serve YOU. So y'all better be tipping. Overall: so damn tasty, I can't wait to try a juice. Keep doing your thing and selling healthy foods to the community.

Decent spot to grab a juice, açaí bowl, or smoothie. I've taken many of Friends and family here and they all say it's good but not as good as Jamba Juice. And to that I say Nectar doesn't use artificial sweeteners so I'm sure that's the difference between Nectar and Jamba. A must try spot when walking the Saturday a midtown farmers market.

Even though Nektar is located nation-wide, I first tried them last week at this address: 3700 Crocker Dr Suite 160, Sacramento, CA 95814. And so, this review is for the location there. Too bad that location doesn't have a Yelp Profile. I love how big the portions are, and the quality is ALMOST as good as my favorite juice spot of all time: Juice Generation in New York! I made one mistake- I don't like coconut, so I replaced coconut base with orange juice as recommended in the app. Please don't do that, everyone! It threw the taste of the whole Acai bowl off, and I threw it away after 3 attempted bites. Granola and orange juice do not go together! Instead, replace coconut with plant milk, so you can get that berry breakfast taste!

I asked my almond butter on my açaí bowl, and when getting my bowl I did not see any on top. I started to eat my bowl and noticed that the almond butter was blended into my bowl. I didn't like the constancy that I made my bowl but I forced myself to eat the whole thing because it was more than 10 dollars for my bowl. Overall, the açaí bowls are not they best and are overpriced.

We had a coupon from a Yelp check-in for a free ginger shot. It tasted like it was pure ginger, so it was very strong and intense, but it cleared our nostrils. The ginger shot was refreshing and woke us up - would definitely want to drink it again if I needed it. We got the Pitaya Acai Bowl because we were craving an acai bowl for so long. The bright pink bottom of the bowl is blended with bananas, pineapple, coconut butter, coconut water, and pitaya (which is known as dragon fruit). It had coconut flakes, hemp seed granola (perfectly crunchy), and a sliced banana sprinkled with agave nectar (tasted like honey). The bowl itself was very refreshing and satisfying. My partner and I agree that this stuff is better than ice cream in every sense. It gives us energy and is made of whole fruits and natural ingredients. Acai bowls energize you and taste better than ice cream because of the difference varieties of ingredients and fruit. The items we got here were very fresh and everything was really clean. The wait for our bowl was a bit long for us being the only customers in the building, so it'd probably be bad to come here when it's super busy. Regardless of that, I really appreciated this place and we will definitely be back to try all of the other Acai Bowls!

The service takes to long I ordered one smoothie and it took 30-40 mins people were waiting for cart long and they took there sweet time

The location is in a busy area so there's hardly parking, whatever as expected though. The inside is nice but it shows the space is lacking the their bicycle is right when you walk in. The service 2/5 they don't greet you when you walk in, you can stand in the pick up area and they will literally call out orders without greeting you once. I had a pick up order that was meant to be done at 10:35 am. I arrived at 10:40am. And I still waited until 10 minutes had passed before even getting asked, "do you have a pick up order?" Maybe they're short staff or something but that's no reason to not greet customers as they walk in or to even make eye contact if you will not be making a greet. I will not be spending anymore money at Nekter just based on their customer service. I was not asked if I had a pick up order until 10:49am. I received my order at 10:53am. The tastes were good and they were made properly.

Nekter juice bar is so great! I wanted something healthy- I got healthy! Prices are a bit high but it's quality so I get it. We have been here a few times now and we will definitely continue to come back! I like ordering ahead of time and just grabbing it to go. Delicious healthy smoothie bowls!

I got a ginsing shot and a acai bowl. It was good. It seemed standard. Nothing special. The customer service was good. The setting was clean and plenty of outdoor seating.

this store was perfect until they changed the staff. the Juice are awful the service becomes very bad . i'm not coming here anymore unless they change the staff

4 stars only because portions are always fluctuating with the people who are making them ... it's either half full or 3/4 full ... i'll probably ask for extra banana slices next time if it's less than half full. Anyway, my coworker introduced me to this place and we get Nektar probably 1-2x month. It always hits the spot and we ALWAYS demolish it. We always get the superfood bowls and I can't believe there is nowhere else I can get this except downtown. I live in Elk Grove and I wish they had a Nektar instead of a Jamba Juice - they would make a killing with this place down there. The food is not loaded with sherbet like Jamba Juice so this is why we come back for more.
