Nekter Juice Bar

I love every other Nekter location. They’re usually very fresh and delicious with polite and helpful employees. This location is running some kind of scam. They ran my card and then for some reason only charged the tip and then they told me oh it didn’t go through. You need to pay again. So I paid it again, but I made sure not to tip. They were trying to get a double tip from me! I’ve never encountered blatant merchant dishonesty like this. I get that businesses down because of all the construction on Snyder Plaza but that shouldn’t mean that they try to finesse someone for a double tip. Someone not paying attention easily could have ran their card a second time not realizing that they did in fact take the tip out out of the first card swipe. Honestly, I hope a district manager looks into this because it’s not the way to treat people. Even if your business is down, it doesn’t mean you should try to finesse people for double tips.

I’m a fan of the fresh juices, the staff are always so kind! I don’t get out to snider plaza a lot but when I do I pay a visit for a fresh drink in a chill, low stakes, non-stuffy environment 💗 I love that if you put ice in your juice they’ll go up a size, so you’re truly getting a 16 oz, 24 oz of juice when they put it in a cup size larger

Absolutely a must if you are in Snyder Plaza. I had the Açaí Peanut Butter Bowl. Yummy!’ Plus it has tons of healthy ingredients like granola, cashews, banana and strawberries

Having been to Nekter locations in California, I knew what I was getting myself into. They have a variety of smoothies, juices, and bowls. Very happy to have this one so close to my new home in Dallas. I still miss getting my favorite acai bowls on the beach, but this place is good enough to help me not feel so bad about that

Once I discovered Nekter Juice Bar's freshly made to order "Banana Boost", I have scheduled my juicing routine of having IT at least once a week. Friendly, clean, and, convenient of parking at this location. Though there's a variety of the already bottled juices, I prefer mines freshly blended. And, since I learned of substituting coconut water to cashew milk, which I'm allergic to, more choices I have with their freshly made smoothies now. CHEERS!

I came after work one day after not having eaten lunch. It was so hot outside so the Acai Banana Berry hit the spot. It wasn't until I had already ordered that i saw that they had an acai bowl with mango, which I have never seen on a menu before, so now I have a reason to go back. I appreciated they they provide lids for the acai bowls in case you are taking yours to go.

Tip: FREE SHOT W CHECK IN. Their shots come in a large palm-sized plastic cup, definitely biggest I've seen at a smoothie shop. Food: I got their seasonal pumpkin flavored bowl with apples, honey, cinnamon. The flavor was good but the texture would be better with more toppings and the apples diced in smaller sizes. Atmosphere: very homey and healthy. Their location always smells good.

I used to love coming to this place, they have been awesome about customizing your green juices or creating your own. I went this past weekend and there was a man I'd never seen before. I believe he was the owner. He was extremely rude and sarcastic when I asked about customizing a green juice. I will not be back.

As a loyal paying customer of this business who has come pretty much every two weeks for the past 6 months, I am HIGHLY UPSET at this location. I order an açaí almond bowl and they give it to me halfway filled. Now, mind you I come here consistently enough so I know what to expect. They said they had a new policy where their portion sizes are smaller (but the lady in front of me had the normal amount filled to the top). The owner then tries to explain reasons why this happened but and show me ingredient sheet which has no relevance. This location is slowly going downhill. I love this place so it's saddening that I will no longer be going here. Beware.

Used the wrong kind of acai in the bowl I ordered so that's the only reason i'm giving a one star

We did not get everything we ordered and what we did it was pure liquid and little fruit! We did not get our three almond butters, our three ginger shots had no orange... no extra coconut that I was charged for... worst order we have ever had there! My son was there early to pick it up and it was already liquid!!! That being said everyone can have an off day and make a mistake. Where the problem really comes in is there horrible customer service! I have sent them five emails starting on January 14th (it is now February 6th) They I have offered zero help! They keep saying they will get back to me but never do. This says a lot about this company. Extremely disappointed!

I've had this place bookmarked for months now but never got a minute to check it out. I also love the location because there are other cute little restaurants and stores nearby. Probably wasn't the brightest idea to come here when it was freezing outside, nonetheless, it was delicious. I ordered the mango acai bowl and loved it. It was pretty large, filling, fruity and so yummy. My only complaint was that it was a tad bit too sweet because of the mango. Other than that, I loved it and would definitely come back for more. My boyfriend ordered the peanut butter acai bowl. It was nutty, the right amount of sweet and tasted really good. I would've preferred almond butter which I'm assuming they have that option so I might try that next time. I personally think acai bowls are overpriced in general. The price is reasonable though, compared to vitality bowl in Irving so I'll give them that.

Super amazing service! Everyone was very friendly! Didn't ask any questions but they seemed to know what they were doing and asked me if there were any substitutes which I greatly appreciate! I can't tell you how many times I've forgotten something I wanted to add. I didn't like that they yelled "MA'AM" when my order was ready so some type of name or order holler would be preferred.

Rafat, the general manager, is awesome! Really nice guy and always handling business. This place is an incredible spot for smoothies, acai bowls, you name it. Great juices and tons of healthy options. One of the best juice spots in the Park Cities. And afterwords, you can grab some fried chicken from Bubba's to balance out the healthiness. Check it out and get a smoothie!

Good, quick acai bowls. But acai is a little liquidy, I prefer it more like sorbet. But fresh, good fruit.

Nice trendy & upscale juice bar in University Park. Quite pricey ($7-9 for a smoothie) but very satisfying and refreshing, especially after a long bluebonnet walking endeavor. Crowded on weekend afternoon. Probably like 4-5 small tables located inside. Had their Pink Flamingo smoothie. Very well executed. Liked the coconut water component. Didn't taste overly sweet that you may find at other smoothie establishments. Quick service and this place definitely met expectations.

Dallas is booming with juice bars so how does Nekter stand out? Product. Service and Locations! Nekter first won me over with their outstanding customer service. The staff was quite friendly. I was quite impressed by the service from start to finish . I felt very welcomed and appreciated as a customer. Their menu is massive and has a vast variety of smoothies and juices to choose from. I was also "WOW"-ed by the different variety of Acai bowls. I do have a current obsession with Acai bowls so I wanted to try the whole menu naturally! I'm a fan of mangos and never have seen a mango Acai bowl. I was quite excited about it! It was DELICIOUS! I am pretty sure I ate every single bite and could've licked my bowl clean! The Acai bowl is pretty fulfilling and can definitely be a meal! The bowl was made fast and is a easy grab and go meal! This has quickly become our favorite smoothie / juice place! The manager here, Raffat makes sure that the drinks are done to perfection. The store is always clean, bright, and cheerful. I highly recommend this place if you are looking for a healthy juice, smoothie, or smoothie bowl. You will not be disappointed!

The absence of a trendy salad bar in Snider Plaza led me to finally try Nekter despite being skeptical, but I couldn't be more pleased about it! While the service isn't great, it doesn't really matter since it's just a quick stop for me. My first time trying an acai bowl was here, and I feel like my life has truly been changed. That peanut butter acai bowl is something special. The textures of the smoothie with the crunchy granola and fresh fruit really compliment each other perfectly. One bowl is more than enough for one sitting (I eat mine in two) or sharing with a friend. While I LOVE both of the bowls I've tried, their juice is a major miss for me. There are much better juice bars in my opinion. I've been eyeing the health nut smoothie, so that is next on my "try" list!

This juice bar is great because not only do they have bottled juices, fresh juices, and smoothies... they also have bowls, which are like healthy parfaits! Nektar just opened in early July and I have been in twice, once for a juice and once for a bowl. A lot of their juices/smoothies/bowls include dates as an ingredient which is a superfood that can help ease hangover pain so that is pretty wonderful. The Date Nut smoothie is also just plain delicious. I would much rather drink that than a vanilla shake even! YUM! Also, they offer a $2 off coupon if you go back after 2 pm the same day to get another snack/juice and I think that is really smart! I had the PB Bowl this morning and plan to get a juice after work. I hope they continue to offer this deal since it is one of the reasons I bumped the 4 star to a 5 star! Another perk is that Nektar is right next to Food from Galilee, one of the best Mediterranean food spots in town, so you can have a delicious schwarma platter followed by a delicious juice/smoothie for dessert!

I liked one of their juices and decided to give their açaí bowls a fry. Unfortunately, their bowls are completely tasteless except for the actual fruit on top. Oh and their Recovery juice tastes like literal dirt.

Manager was extremely incompetent and rude when trying to retrieve an online order. This is the second time this has happened at this location and the manager never seems to know what is going on.

I'm reviewing this place on customer service. I wish I could remember the guy behind the counter. But, every time I've gone in, he greets me, super cheerful and gives you 100%. I'm a little picky with my food allergies and he always accommodates my requests. I enjoy going to this location when given a choice of where to get my açaí bowl.

Acai bowls are a must in my book, and the fact that this place as a menu full of acai bowl options is pretty awesome! I've been here a few times and I'm bummed that I discovered it right before I moved from this city, but overall their acai bowls are refreshing and tasty. I always get the acai banana berry bowl, add spinach/kale mix, and a serving of whey protein. Although I love the fresh flavor of my bowl and feel great about getting nutritional value out of this treat, the scrooge in me hates the fact that I'm shelling out $10+ bucks for this bowl. Since making it "green" and adding protein is additional, by the time I'm done building it, it gets a little pricey, especially considering that it's not really a meal in itself. Don't get me wrong, I'll for sure be back for my acai bowl fix. But I'd love to see some "green bowls" or protein based acai bowls added to the menu so it doesn't get so costly.

The Açaí bowls are so good! A little too pricey, but what can one do when there's not many other places serving up bowls as good as this place, or any at all, really. Service is usually nice and quick. I come here often and usually get the classic bowl, but friends have gotten the various variations and seem to really enjoy them. My favorite would be the passion fruit one, and I'm really hoping that my brain/stomach is not just making that one up.

Great place for a quick, healthier bite. Also have wonderful juices. We stop here every time we are in the area.

This is such a great addition to Snider plaza. The owner is so friendly and even suggested my new favorite juice! My hubby and I come here 3-4 times a week and they are always so nice and fast.

I tried Nekter for the first time after a friend recommended it and I am so glad she did. Their Acai bowls are unmatched in Dallas and comparable to bowls you'd find in a West Coast juice bar. I now consider myself a frequent visitor at Nekter as I find myself craving their mouthwatering Acai bowls at least once a week. I typically order the acai peanut butter bowl, previously called the pb bowl. It is my absolute favorite item on their menu. It's made with a mixture of peanut butter, strawberries, bananas, dates, and cashew milk topped with hempseed granola. It's a sweet, guilt free treat that fills me up at either breakfast or lunch. I recently tried their popular banana berry bowl. It tastes very similar to the peanut butter bowl but the blueberries give it a more tart based flavor. It was good, but the peanut butter bowl is still the reining champion in my book. The only downside is this particular location is in Snider plaza which can get pretty packed during peak hours. The juice bar itself has limited seating, but I've never had trouble finding a table when I'm there because most people take their juices and smoothies to go.

Nekter is a great place to stop for a quick, healthy snack or meal. It has a great location by the SMU campus. The smoothies and bowls are delicious however everything is a bit pricey which is why they only receive 4 out of 5 stars. I think this is a great place to stop when looking for an on the go snack.

Well, Nekter is 100% my favorite juice bar in Dallas. I wish it we're closer to where I lived, but hey, I make the trip every now and then. I've tried it all at Nekter and my go-to order it a Toxin Flush or the classic banana berry bowl with chia seeds on top. If I ever have a rough weekend of eating - a large Toxin Flush = my lunch. But I mean it helps that it's so yummy. I would have one everyday if I could. They also offer informative and easy cleanses, as well as bottled juice options with really great add in's to each. Such ashwagandha, which is great for anxiety and stress. This location needs a little help in the customer service department as they're very dry, and un-helpful but luckily the product makes up for it.

I wasn't overly impressed, TBH. I came here expecting a fantastic juice experience. I ordered a DIY juice, which was essentially a combination of various things - don't get me wrong, there was nothing bad or wrong with it, I just wasn't wowed unfortunately. I love a healthy juice spot, but this just didn't do it for me. Perhaps I'll give it another turn if I'm in the area. Otherwise, eh?

OOOOMMMMMGGGGGGGGG THE PITAYA BOWLS HERE ARE TO DIE FOR. Best post work out snack. You are seriously getting a bang for your buck!! The portions are gigantic and filling AND they give generous amounts of toppings. Red dragon fruit/pitaya is expensive af and trumps white dragon fruit any day, so might as well spend $7-8 on that PLUS toppings. (FYI one single red dragon fruit costs like $7-9 at an asian grocery store anyway. It's exotic af) Also for açaí bowls, the açaí is delicious and NOT so cold that you get a brain freeze, but just right! Still prefer pitaya though :) Service is quick. The smoothies (mango yummm) are also amaaaazing, but expensive. I was immediately sold my first time and am now a loyal customer! Don't miss out y'all.

Aww these people here are my favs. I want to be best friends with them. My friend wanted an acai berry bowl (which I would highly recommend to anyone trying to get their fruits and veggies in), but she was being high maintenance and wanted to make it more coconut flavored. Who does that. Anyway, I love her and I love the service here. They started making recommendations on how to make it more coconut flavored by adding coconut butter, coconut flakes, and coconut water. It's a pleasant change from the original bowl for all those coconut lovers out there. My high maintenance friend continued to complain about how her app didn't work and she hadn't been receiving her Nektar App Points so Marvelous Michael decided to give her the coconut acai berry bowl for free! yeah it's that good - it could be better but it's better than all the others ( Jamba, Juiceland, Juice bar and Buda) here is why - it's fresh- sqouze right here while you sit. good selection- juices, smoothies and legit bowls. well staffed always the bowls are crafted, large , well priced and almond butter is available. also fun- even though it's close to douchebaggery the clientele are uniformly pleasant teenagers great stop- no issues

I've tried the pink flamingo, the buzz, and the toxin flush. They were all pretty good except the second time getting the pink flamingo. There were hairs in the smoothie this time The smoothies at this location aren't consistent I've noticed as well unfortunately. The juices here are pretty good though. Really refreshing and tasty. The customer service at this location is okay. I think a little talking to the customers and helping them decide would be good. The first time I went to this location it was better because the cashier actually made eye contact and spoke, but the second time was disappointing. There was a different cashier this time and I said I couldn't figure out what to get and she said nothing. Idk what's up with the customer service here but I don't think I'll come back to this location for smoothies. I'll get a juice every now and then but definitely not a smoothie. Maybe I'll try again in a few months. I think I'll stick to the one in Plano even if I can only go after my doctors appointments.

Okay, so I'm new to this juicing thing. I know it's healthy by the look of it. I came in for a tonic juice to flush out my system. I also got an acai berry bowl with mix berries. I wasn't expecting the acai berry bowl to be that big. That could have been shared between two or three people. They have different bowls you could get. Some comes with coconut flakes and banana. I wanted more fruits in mine so I settled for the berry bowl. It had granola, fresh berries, and honey on top. The acai berry is blended like ice cream. It will be perfect for the summer! A healthier alternative to ice cream and sugar snow cones. As for the tonic juice, I didn't feel anything right away. I thought okay, maybe it doesn't work for me because I didn't drink enough. WRONG! It kicked in a day later and I felt it LOL it tasted like grass but it's nothing you can't handle. Don't expect it to be flavor with artificial sugar to sweeten it for you. Everything in it is natural as it is! If you wanted sugar juice, go to jamba juice. I felt healthy drinking it and it was refreshing! They have cleanses, too. If you're into that. I will come back for their one day cleanse to try it out. I don't think I can go any longer than one day without eating. haha!

After my friend had ordered her first acai bowl, I thought her PB Bowl looked a little scarce. I have been to nekter before, and I had tried the Pitaya bowl. I believed that it had been filled to the top with handfuls of fruits and toppings, and after checking the photos posted on this page, I knew we were unfairly served a much smaller bowl -- it was barely filled halfway! But the photo should speak for itself.. I felt bad for recommending this place to my friend, and I'm quite disappointed for well as well. So while the bowl was delicious, this experience makes me question whether I will return again, given the inconsistency, price that paid, and the small serving we received.

I'm confused by all the great reviews of this place. This is my first visit here, and will also be my last. I ordered their Berry Banana smoothie and the first impression upon receiving my drink was quite poor. My drink wasn't even filled to the top (see photo), and the juices and smoothies here aren't cheap. When places deliver drinks to customers that aren't filled to the top, I feel that they're either cheap, sloppy, or both. The smoothie itself was not good. I'm not sure how they managed to get it to look so purple and tasteless. It pretty much tasted like water that was thickened in smoothie form with purple food coloring--no exaggeration there. Definitely the strangest smoothie I have ever had.

Love the menu! Very clear and helpful for all juice novices. They've got beverages targeted for your every need, bottled forms if your in a pinch and even drink mixers! The staff is very friendly and the service is really quick, but not careless. In fact, they were meticulously efficient! Vegan? Raw? Vegetarian? Or juice lover? They've got you covered. I'll definitely be coming back.

OMG! A total gem. I would say Heaven on Earth. Acai bowls? Check. Fresh pressed juice? Check. Smoothies? Check. Amazing flavor and tons of options? Yessss! This place is great. Reasonably priced for fresh juice. It's a bit cheaper per oz. comparably to Whole Foods. The staff is super friendly and helpful. Bonus? They give you a $2 off coupon for juice if you come back the same day after 2pm. Also, if you're wanting to do a juice cleanse they offer those too! They have single day packages that they make the night before to sell the following day or you can call in an order. I will definitely be back... For all of the above options!!! Haha

Friend got a juice and we accidentally spilled 25% of it outside. The manager was really nice and gave us a replacement drink. Definitely went above and beyond.

I'm so happy this place is so close to my favorite yoga studio. After an hour long bendy session I ventured on over for my juice fix. They were pretty busy but the girl behind the counter was so speedy! I ordered 'The Cure'- with beets, celery, grapes and some other deliciousness. I have to say I love beets in juice form! It definitely quenched my thirst plus the color is so vibrant and pretty. Can't wait to try one of the acai bowls next!

This is the second locationI have tried of this place. I ordered my typical mango acai bowl. It was very tasty and fresh. The location was nice in size and clean. I was seen right away and there was not a long wait. Fresh fruits and toppings. I would return again for sure.

They now charge $52 for an advanced cleanse with tax. They also do not honor corporate coupons. I was a big fan, now I'm going to try the competition

We had absolutely terrible service in here by the incompetent staff. My wife has a dairy and soy allergy. The menu clearly states that there may be allergens in certain items, but that they will do their best to accommodate. Okay, that sounds good. We asked about the soy content in 2 of the items and no one could even be bothered to go check. Their response was just, "I don't know, maybe." When my wife said, "how can you not know what's in it if you're serving it to people?" Her response was, "I don't even know what soy is." Its really not that difficult to go look something like that up, it's just a bunch of lazy and uneducated people staffing the counter here. We won't be going back.

This seems to be the only way I can get my 13-year-old to eat any fruits or grains. He absolutely loves the bowls here, in particular the açai berry banana bowl. The cups are a nice size for a growing boy and filled with soft and delicious yogurt, topped with a fruit of your choice and granola. Their shakes are also very filling and flavorful. They even have their own home made juices of all sorts of flavor - completely natural with fresh ingredients.

I love dropping by Nekter for their açai bowls- the berry and pb are my favourite. Just giving a four star because my strawberries were pretty sour this last time. Typically I've gotten some sweet berries :) This neighbourhood strip isn't too far from 75. It's a bit hard to find the first time if you're not familiar with the area and parking can be a struggle depending on the time you arrive. The store size accommodates a come and go atmosphere. They have to go caps for extra convenience and to go bags for those that purchase juices or bowls in bulk! The cashier this last time I went was very friendly and accommodating! Tip them!

I wish I could give this place a 4.5! It was delicious and SO fresh! The Acai bowls are amazing...not quite as amazing as they are in Hawaii, but they really are a close second. Their juice is straight from fresh fruit and veggies...nothing canned, preserved, or added here. It's a small place, so it can get busy...have a little patience, this place is worth it! I highly recommend Nektar to anyone looking for a nutritious fix or juice cleanse system.

Needed a quick energy boost so I stopped in for an Acai bowl. I got the peanut butter one and it was delicious. The staff is friendly, the service is fast and the price is fair. This is not a bad place to do some paperwork of take a break from traffic. I'll be back in soon...

The only place in Dallas that has a good açaí bowl and only place close to SMU campus with great smoothies. I always get the Mango Delight, but the açaí bowls are delicious, too. The Pitaya bowl is my favorite bowl because of the crunch to it.
