Best flower store in Brooklyn. I have been working with this store for years now and there is nothing they cant do, from elegant bridal bouqets to custom made flower signs those guys are amazing. Very friendly and professioanl and they really care about their work. I would highly recommend them to all flower and plants lovers.

Nelly’s has easily become one of my go to flower shops in the city! They have an amazing selection of rare and common houseplants. The prices are very affordable and the staff is very attentive and knowledgeable. I also love their “rare plant drops” and holiday giveaways!

Nelly's is an absolute wonderland. I only got into house plants in the past couple of years, and Nelly's has been there to provide me with everything I need, every step of the way. I've gotten all my plants and supplies from them and have always been happy with both the quality and price. If you stop by, make sure to keep your eye out for Sunday the cat!

Huge selection of awesome plants, planters, flowers, etc. but went specifically to get a Christmas tree and they did not disappoint. The guy in charge of the trees was nice enough to unwrap the one we wanted to see and then wrap it back up and strap it to the top of our car. Prices are decent for the area.

Before I start my review, I should preface that most of my reviews on Yelp are related to going out to bars, cheap eats, fine dining, etc. so take what I have to say about a flower shop with that taken into consideration. That's not to say I don't frequent flower shops. I do. I pick up plants for myself and pick up flowers for dates, my mom, my grandma, etc. It's just that it's not in the same frequency as saying going out to eat and therefore am not as knowledgeable. That being said, I picked up some roses for a birthday. I was fairly satisfied with my purchase. The flowers were fresh and smelled nice. There was a good selection of plants and flowers. The service was quick and friendly. The place itself has a very mom and pop establishment vibe to it. As I noted at the beginning, I don't have as much experience buying flowers as I do say a good slice of pizza so I don't have as much experience in terms of the basis for comparison, but if I were in the area, I would definitely come back to get flowers for another occasion.

Lots of beautiful Christmas trees, cut or potted and alive, wreaths, and a range of various holiday decorations in addition to all the other plants and flowers. Service is still very friendly and accommodating. A bit on the pricy side but I love to support small local businesses.

I'm in Nebraska but had a friend in Brooklyn that I wanted to send a plant. The woman I spoke to on the phone was so sweet! She picked out a beautiful potted plant and it was much bigger than I thought it would be for the price.

Hands down best looking plants at the best prices in NYC. I've looked everywhere from large hardware chain stores like Loew's or HD, to other cult favorites in Brooklyn but none come close to plant health and fair price. They have a range of price points from young plants to lovely long mature grown plants, they have the nicest collection of hanging plants I've seen anywhere. Of note, they have a huge array of cactuses, from small ones at $5 to huge ones $60-100, which if you're familiar with cactuses, is a great deal!!! Looks like they also make custom arrangements. Staff are very approachable and friendly not too intrusive.

Small plant store with a good variety and some rare ones! Some of their plants aren't in the best shape but there aren't really any other plant shops in the area. You can find a good deal here if you know what you're looking for. They are very responsive on social media so you can ask away! They can also hold plants for you if you contact them as long as you send them the dinero.

I'm one of those pandemic spawned plant parents, so I've been scouring easily accessible parts of the city for plant shops. Very happy to have found Nelly's located right off the G train. They have a large variety from outdoor to indoor plants, and rare plants. Tons of plant pots and accessories, and other plant needs as well. They even have $5 plants and also lots of under $10 options. What I really like is the variety they offer, which imo is wider than some of the others in the surrounding area. I'd have to say price wise, some are great, some are fair, and some are on the high side. So, if price is a high concern, you'd have to know your average market price. All in all, I highly recommend Nelly's for some plant shopping!

First time buying my mom a bouquet for her birthday. It was delivered on time. The flower was fresh and it honestly exceeded my expectations. It was her 60th birthday and Nelly made sure they did it right. Funny thing was I didn't know which flower to pick so I just told him her favorite colors and everyone absolutely loved it.

I got some flowers for my mom from Nelly's about a month ago. They were really friendly to deal with, the prices were pretty reasonable and my arrangement was ready when I went to pick it up. I believe they also deliver, but my mom is in CT, so I grabbed the arrangement on my way up to see her. She loved them and she said they lasted a really long time. Several days.

Nelly's Flower Shop is one of my favorite plant stores in the city. They have a great selection ranging from beginner-friendly plants to rarer varieties. I've made two plant purchases here so far and will be back again, even just to browse. Also appreciate their friendly staff who were helpful even at the end of the day just before closing.

After leaving my last review, nellys decided the best way to handle the situation was to block me lol if you choose to shop here, please research your plants before buying. Check for bugs. Make sure your plant has roots. Because clearly, they don't know how to handle situations which involves customer service.

be aware - lots of fungus gnats on their plants! Their prices are not as good as everyone is posting and reviewing!! in fact they are quite expensive compare to other plant shops. They used to be reasonably priced but as soon as COVID hit and we had nothing but time on our hands (along with other things) They took this time to become overpriced!! Is it a coincidence that everyone is now becoming aware of PLANTS and almost everything is RARE their prices just bumped up? Some of my plants i bought from Home Depot are 3X overpriced at Nellys! its just not fair that neighborhood stores can just do that to gain profits.

I have been to Nelly's a few times and I have enjoyed their selection. The prices are really reasonable too. I shop on the cheaper side so I opt for the less full/smaller plants (young string of pearls) that are cheaper instead of the larger, more established plants. Not sure if they are sales or just prices to sell but they have had great prices lately. I got a gorgeous spider plant, in a hanging basket, with 6+ babies for $15. They have a great election of pots, planters, and trays. Definitely check them out and shop local.

Nelly's has so many common and rare plants, staff are friendly. I got the philodendron pink princess and it's planter for a good price.

Love this shop, the people there, etc. BUT they need to do a massive fumigation and have someone who's monitoring them. Brought home too many infested plants, including a huge expensive Monstera that's infested my other plants. (The Monstera was a replacement from another infested philodendron i picked up there) Great example, this plant I snapped a pic of covered in mealy bugs for sale. just really careless and dangerous, I've lost many plants over time just buy buying a few here. Super pissed off about the money and hours I've wasted trying to remedy, but figure everyone should have a heads up. Check your plants, be very, very careful.

Went to Nellys looking for a bouquet for my baby sisters graduation. I didn't see anything that fit her style so I talked to one of the employees who helped me make a custom arraignment for her. They were very patient with me since I wanted to get it just right and had to text a group chat for approval lol. They came out beautiful, vibrant and perfect for my sister! My sister was stopped many times by parents, students and teachers telling her how beautiful her flowers were and it really made her feel specials. Thank you for your help!

Love this plant shop with everything in me. New and (let me emphasize on) HEALTHY plants weekly. They have a great selection and variety of both flowers and plants (succulents, palms). Really good pricing, no repotting fees and very knowledgable staff. Will be back next week, Nelly's!

This place rules. I was looking to get some balloons and props for a photo shoot and long story short I ended up here after I discovered party glitters was closed but they have helium balloons, teddy bears, plants and flowers of course plus othet cool shit, and they are really nice and reasonably priced! Took the G train here and thought I would surely get lost looking for the flower shop. I WAS WRONG!!! It's right across (thank goodness!!! praise the lord!) The first impression that I had of this place (just judging from the front) was that it was pretty big but there were a lot of things going on. There were so many flowers that it was overwhelming. Even when I stepped into the shop there was whole lot of flowers/plants and there was one side that had different sizes and shapes of holder for the plants. Later on, I found out that the reason that Nelly's flower shop was so packed with different types of plants and flowers (you may think a big mess but ...) was that they are a flower shop supplier for many other flower shops. So all the plants and flowers that I saw were CHEAP! and beautiful! Once these flowers are shipped to the many other flower places, the prices goes up (retail and all) . I went in to get the terrain plant ( look it up- it's so cute~) They had many that were already pre-made. There were many plants and I decided that I wanted to mix and match. The shop owners were there and were really helpful. They told me how they usually don't customized the terrains and are usually pre-made by them but since it was my first time they would for me and also that it wasn't a problem for them (how nice is that?!) I chose my plant, which was a succulent plant in a round glass holder. The owner let me pick the theme, I picked the more natural theme. A few rocks were placed in it as well as moss, a cute deer picked by yours truly and two cute little mushrooms. I loved the end result and the best part!! The price...guess how much! 30? - WRONG! 25? - wrong again! ...ok ok...it was only 15$, it's a great price. I would come here again. Why go to any other florists when Nelly's flower shop is a direct supplier which means cheap and their flower quality are on point. Plus side is that the owners are all so friendly and helpful. They would explain anything when asked. They can even tell you what's best for your house /room in order to care for your plant. ALSO! they had a cute little rabbit and a sleepy fat cat. How adorbs is that? They let you pet them too. lol Check it out!

Usually pretty good. Just purchased my first large plant from them. Noticed some brown around the leaves and stem( wasn't too worried.) but then I noticed black mold when separating the stems. Plant is dying Quickly.

Great family owned store in the Williamsburg area. The employees are always very helpful and knowledgeable about the plants and their care. They have a wide selection of plants with a lot of variety -- they seem to get new plants often which makes for a really great selection. The prices are much better than most other stores in NYC, and the plants are always healthy and in good condition. The best part, though, is their wide array of $5 plants! Super affordable and great options, unlike other stores where the cheaper plants are half dead. They have a decent selection of cute pots, but they are a bit more expensive than what you could find at other stores -- especially their terra cotta pots, which are definitely marked up. They do carry materials (nails, hooks) to hang pots, which is nice. They also have a good selection of terrariums and potted plants which are nice for gifts. I recommend Nelly's to everyone I know - the prices and health of their plants are unmatched.

I got a 5/5 service. They will pot in store if you buy a plant + one of their pots. Excellent plants choice, and nice pots selection (anywhere from plastic ones to nicer ceramic ones). Great attitude from the people in the store, and they have a brown bunny :) Prices are average, good for the quality of their plants. They have decent sales off-season. I buy all of my plants from them.

Best mom & pop plant store in Bushwick/Williamsburg area. Stop going to those overpriced plant stores in Williamsburg and that pretentious one off Morgan Ave (you know who you are). The plant selection is unique and fairly priced. They also have beautiful pots and voluspa candles. Oh and they have a bunny manning the cash register!

This flower shop has the best selection you'll ever need. Eleny was THE most helpful, she helped pick out the plants I wanted and was extremely knowledgeable and diligent on how to care for them (and I needed a lot of instruction since I'm totally clueless when it comes to caring for plants). The store was super busy which is always a sign of a good business. I'm so pleased with my plants and they fit in perfectly at home.

Nelly's is excellent. I've ordered form them a few times and they've always delivered on time (saving my butt, lol). The customer service is top notch as they sent a new bouquet after the first delivery didn't last more than a day. I recommend them to everyone.

Nelly's Flower Shop is great! I moved to Williamsburg in 2004 and while the neighborhood has changed, I love that this place has stayed the same. I'm by no means a regular- mostly only stop in once or twice a year to buy some live plants as they have a good, affordable selection. But have also picked up a few gifts. They're great for when you need some organic plant food, or a 5' tall bamboo support, and conveniently located by the JMZ&G trains. Their counter is small and occasionally gets a little congested when they're busy, however it's worth mentioning the service is always super efficient and friendly. I have a wedding coming up, and am very much looking forward to supporting this shop with my floral needs. Good value and affable staff sets this place apart from the other local garden centers.

I LOVE THIS PLACE!!!! I would always stare in wonder at this cute little tropical oasis as I drove by. For years I was enchanted by the outside... this slice of green heaven in the middle of all that concrete. It made me happy just knowing it was there. Then one day I actually ventured inside and OH MY GOD! It's like walking into the jungle room at the botanical garden! So many plants! So many pots! SO MUCH TO SEE AND TOUCH!!! Honestly, I want to move in. The people who work there are incredible and are always super happy to discuss your needs and what will work best with your living arrangements/desired level of care. They will also pot your plants for you on the spot! If you're just starting out on your green thumb or an old pro at the plant life... this is the spot for you!

I bought 3 small indoor plants about 2 weeks ago and 2 of them turned brown and dried up within a week. These plants only require watering once or twice a week and I'm not sure what happened? I took photos and showed them to a staff member, unfortunately the owners weren't there and the lady couldn't really explain how I can revive the plants. Pricing is way better at Home Depot or Lowe's but people shop here because of conveniences. I'll probably come back if I need something last minute, otherwise I'll plan ahead and shop from other stores. I am adding this update on Sep 13. 2 of the plants are dead and one of them is full of slugs. If I could give these guys negative stars I would do so. Stay away!

Great selection of cacti and succulents! Also got there nice and fresh tulips for $10. Affordable prices on plants and flowers as well as pottery and glassware. The staff is helpful, welcoming and nice. Adorable bunny awaits at register!

This is my favorite plant store in all of NYC. They have a large, constantly changing selection of plants and the staff will take the time to discuss your lifestyle, apartment layout and lighting to help you pick the best greenery for your space. I have a railroad apartment with a southern exposure, a northern exposure, and two rooms that get little to no natural light, but thanks to Katyna's advice and healthy plant stock, I have a thriving mini-jungle throughout my place. That includes a notoriously finicky fiddle leaf fig from Nelly's that has almost doubled in size since I brought it home this spring. I also bought my Christmas tree here last year and it stayed fresh for a ridiculously long time. Support a small local business and get your green stuff here!

This by far has been my favorite flower shop that I've found around in Brooklyn so far. I've come here for peonies and succulents, but they have such huge variety from air plants, indoor house plants, floor plants, plant seeds, flowers to make bouquets, etc. Everything seems reasonably priced compared to other flower shops I've been to and it seems that they update their selection often, which gives me more reason to stop by and check em out. Also their workers are always nice and helpful. Luckily they're only a few subway stops from my place so it's easy for me to come by. Also good to note that they only accept card for purchases over $10.

Such a sweet little shop. It smells amazing and they have gorgeous flowers. The staff was super friendly and very helpful. The arrangement of plants in the shop give it a homey feel. Also the cat is so adorable. He was a little hostile at first but warmed up and added to the family ambience of the whole place. Great place over all.

I've come here over the last 10 years for a steadily growing array of indoor plants. They're wonderful! Well-priced! And always grow-up to be big and strong. It's a fantastic place to mosey about if you're shopping for inspiration too. I've gotten lots of terracotta pots here (although they stock less of these, probably because other people now stock more). I come here for large bags of organic soil. I got my watering can here. The best secret is there constant supply of fiddle tree figs in the back inside. Healthy fig plants that can grow nicely with good care (don't put them in huge pots, keep the roots compact, repot annually). And they will grow. Love this place.

BEST PLANT Store in Williamsburg. They have Venus fly traps!!! They have a huge variety of fun plants like air plants. Cute creation animals and terrariums. And oh so affordable compared to other places around the area. Can't wait to go again to see what they have in store.

Extremely happy with this company. My girlfriend works nearby, and I called the day before her birthday to order a mid-sized bouquet. I spoke with an individual on the phone who I believe said her name is Katina, and is a florist there. I didn't have anything particular in mind, and the florist offered to put something together based on my price point. The florist went into just enough detail about what she was planning on doing to make me comfortable, but not too much to overwhelm me with the details. She even offered to text me when it was delivered. Anyway, I asked for delivery the following morning between 10 and 11, and, sure enough, at about 10:30 or so I get a text from the florist confirming delivery, and attaching a picture of the bouquet. It was REALLY nice! I'm not sure what specific types were in it, but they looked really fancy -- not just filler stuff like you'd see at a bodega. It was something that would look great at a fancy restaurant or hotel. And I was really happy with the price too; I've ordered similar-sized fancy bouquets in the past, and they're usually more expensive. Oh, and shortly after, I get a similar text from my girlfriend saying how beautiful the flowers are! Bottom line: asking the florist to put together her choice of flowers worked out great. Would definitely order from here again.

The lady works here is so tasteful. I showed her a photo of a bridal bouquet and she prepared almost the same. She couldn't find some of the flowers but she substitute them with the most similar ones.

Bought a bag of the soil. Home Depot's price is way much cheaper than here. Not worth it! Unless you really need something right away!

Excellent little shop! Beautiful flowers, plants, and other unique gifts are to be found here. My favorite part of the experience here are the shop owners--they are so knowledgeable and kind. You can tell they really care about the flowers/plants they send home with you! They'll give you all kinds of advice on how to give them the best/longest life Second favorite part--the bunny who is often found hanging out on the counter at checkout :) I'd definitely recommend this flower shop!
