Nelson Produce

I was looking for sweet corn and they still had local grown. It was in the husk which is what we wanted for the purpose of grilling. Service was great and she helped me pick out the ears. I also bought some baby potatoes and garlic. Produce looked good. They had honey, jelly, plum bbq sauce, meat and many other interesting items. There is plenty of room in the parking lot.

Sweet corn starts in June! They plant some in Georgia so we can have it at the start of summer. It was so good. The strawberries were huge. Sometimes big ones are hollow and sour, but these were dense and sweet. Raspberries the same way. Green beans were fresh and bright green. Grabbed a chicken salad from the fridge since it was my favorite recipe made with grapes. I love the variety. This stand and the farmer's market are my summer go to. Update: the local corn is ready and worth the wait. We've gone back every week to feast on the strawberries. Tried the watermelon, onions, and tomatoes. Everything has been fresh and tasty. Still highly recommend this place.

They are great, tomato’s they sell are amazing, I am there customer for 3 years already, and will come back next year for sure. They have a lot of good stuff. Thank you!

The most delicious fruit I have ever had. The strawberries were sweet like strawberries should be and the watermelon was so juicy. Can't wait to go back.

I love this busy location. Has great variety of home grown produce. I visit every year. See you all next year for fresh peaches and corn.

Been here dozens of times. Taken tours of the farm, supported for years. Sadly one entitled young lady of an employee may have ruined all my support. Never had an issue with a purchase before but bought some muffins and they were rock hard and spoiled. Figured I’d mention it next time, well boy that was the wrong thing to do. I mentioned that last purchase I bought some spoiled muffins and was wondering if I could get another pack comped. You would have thought I’d asked for $100. Immediately defensive said I must have bought a red tag item and they “don’t guarantee” those items. (What?!) she stated she “only works here and can’t help me”. (What?!!) then said “you can call my boss” proceeded to pick up the phone and dial before I could respond. When whomever she was calling didn’t answer she wrote the number down and threw it at me. I honestly felt like I was being pranked. Ahem.. I’m confused. Why was this the escalation? I politely explained my issue and end up getting a number thrown at me? Wild. I still have no idea what their policies are but I’m pretty sure how she handled it did not follow protocol. Hoping to hear back from the stranger I called from number she gave me since now it’s a customer service and quality issue. Superrrr.

What a great place.. fruits and vegetables and anything you want from this produce. Stand is fabulous, and prices are decent. Must check it out!

Great selection of fresh produce , jellies , meats and fruits. Definitely a great place . Loved the Black diamond watermelon.
