Nopa Indian Cuisine Review - Nopa - San Francisco - The Infatuation

"Nopa Indian Cuisine is your shortcut to a Big Group Dinner when the designated planner in your friend group is out on a work trip, especially because getting a table here any day of the week is easy thanks to the huge dining room. The dishes, from the palak paneer with just the right amount of creamed spinach to the goat biryani with tender rice, hit all of the right flavor notes. And the best part is that there’s enough variety to satisfy even the pickiest eaters with curry pots, momos, tandoori, soups, biryanis, and more. Just make sure that you take them seriously when they ask you about your spice tolerance—otherwise, you might be pounding mango lassi all night long." - Ricky Rodriguez

Oh boy, I don’t even know where to start. This restaurant is by far the best Indian & Nepalese restaurant that I have ever been to anywhere. This restaurant beats any Indian restaurant in SF by any measure. The food is so tasty, so flavorful. The service is out of this world. The atmosphere is superb. The prices are extremely fair. As soon as we sat, they were bringing complimentary appetizers with some complimentary house sauces. Every food we had was 10/10. This is definitely paradise for food lovers. I have been to almost every Indian restaurant in the city, no restaurant comes even close to this one. I think Nepa restaurant is even better than some of the best Michellin Star Restaurants. I feel like royalty there. All staff members are absolutely friendly, smiling, very helpful. They are amazing people, both employees and even the owner. I have not enjoyed going to restaurant as much as I did going to Nepa. I am now 💯 loyal customer. Forget about any other restaurant l, come down here, you won’t be disappointed ever. This is heaven for foodies. Restaurants, please take a note about how to run a restaurant from Nepa. Learn from them. Cuz this is how you do it. Thank you Nepa Team for taking absolutely amazing care of your customers. We see you Nepa Team

Very good food, the service was also polite. Super recommend their Butter Chicken Masala and Garlic Naan! This place gets VERY busy at night, not sure if they take reservations, but you might consider it. They also stay open late, which is amazing!!

Google
I had a great lunch at Nepa! Lots of vegetarian options and I was happily surprised by the flavor of the Jeera Aloo. Very yummy! Excited to come back again and try more.

Google
Nice casual environment. Food was incredible, over ordered to the point of scared. The Hot is perfectly spiced, I debated going higher but what am I trying to prove? - lamb biryani - chicken Tikka masala - garlic naan - Momo's Momo's we're incredible, a surprise highlight on top of a delicious meal.

Google
The best food we have had in SF. Stumbled upon this restaurant on our visit to the Alamo square. It was a foggy evening and we ordered Momos, Chowmein. Everything we ordered was Amazing. The Gulab jamun was lip smacking. Ended the meal with masala chai. Not jut the food but the service was exceptional . Do give this place a try and you won’t regret it.

Absolutely Amazing Experience! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ This restaurant is an absolute gem for anyone who loves authentic Nepali and Indian cuisine! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warm hospitality and friendly smiles by Surender. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and comfortable. Now, the food—simply outstanding! Every dish was bursting with rich flavors and perfectly balanced spices. From the aromatic curries to the freshly baked naan, everything tasted homemade and full of love. The momos were a highlight—juicy, flavorful, and absolutely delicious! The ambiance was cozy and inviting, making it a perfect spot for a relaxing meal. Whether you’re a fan of Nepali or Indian food, this place will not disappoint. Highly recommend to anyone looking for an unforgettable dining experience! Will definitely be coming back!

Google
My family, including picky eater kid, loves this place. We've been back multiple times and they treat us so well. Food is done to our preference not spicy for the kid but I'd prefer a little spice). Our usual order of chicken tikka masala, tandori, (salmon or chicken) are some of our go-to dishes. The complimentary crackers and sauce are awesome.

Google
Amazing Indian food! Momos were delicious, the naan is very soft and yummy, we got malai kofta that was amazing as well! Overall great food, great people, small cozy place must visit!

Yelp
Nepa Indian Cuisine is a lively and welcoming spot that fills up quickly during dinner hours, creating a great atmosphere. There's street parking available, as well as a nearby garage for added convenience. The moment we walked in, the energy of the restaurant was inviting, with friendly staff who were incredibly attentive throughout the meal. They genuinely care about customer satisfaction, frequently checking in to ensure everything was to our liking and keeping our water glasses full. One thing that stood out was how accommodating they were--they even allowed us to add palak to their paneer naan, which turned out absolutely amazing! My group ordered a variety of dishes, and everything came out fresh, flavorful, and well-prepared. They also have a nice wine bar, making it a great place to enjoy a meal while sipping on a drink of choice. My personal favorites were the chicken tikka masala and the goat biryani. The chicken tikka masala had a rich, creamy sauce with the perfect balance of spices, and the goat biryani was incredibly fragrant, with tender pieces of goat meat that paired beautifully with the fluffy, aromatic rice. One of the highlights for me was the eggplant pakora. I absolutely love eggplant, so I was excited to see it on the menu. The pakoras were perfectly crispy on the outside, soft and flavorful on the inside, and paired beautifully with the accompanying chutneys. Each dip added a different layer of flavor, enhancing the dish even more. The naan was another standout--it was light, fluffy, and easy to tear, making it perfect for dipping into the curries. We found ourselves reaching for more throughout the meal. If I had to nitpick, I'd probably pass on the tandoori chicken and lamb next time. While everything else was excellent, the tandoori meats were on the drier side. I think they could have been perfect if they had been marinated with more yogurt, which would have helped tenderize the meat and keep it juicy. With that slight adjustment, I could see these dishes being just as amazing as the rest of the menu. Overall, Nepa Indian Cuisine delivered a fantastic dining experience. Between the welcoming staff, flavorful dishes, and thoughtful accommodations, it's a place I'd happily return to. I look forward to coming back to try more items from their menu!

Yelp
We had a great experience here, right after they opened. Over time, we have continued to have amazing food on every visit. The latest- dinner on Wednesday night. We ordered: Manchurian Golbi Samosa Garlic Naan Basmati Rice Chicken korma Coconut Veggies Curry And everything was delicious. We usually order chicken tikka masala. We decided to go w/ a korma. It was so good! Made me wonder why I hadn't tried it before. Both apps were perfect. I always love their Samosas! Just another 5 Star dinner @ our favorite local Indian restaurant, Nepa! Thanks guys!

Yelp
This is one the best Indian restaurants in San Francisco. They deserve 7 stars ! 1. The ambience is fantastic and the people are extemely polite and humble. 2. They actually care about you having a good dining experience. 3. They served us papadam with both chutneys and that was complimentary 4. I ordered Baigan Bharta and Garlic Naan and both were extraordinary 5. They also were kind and gave Onions Lemon and Mirchi along. 6. Their Pista Kulfi desert was also extraordinary. 7. Even when they are in SF, the prices are very reasonable and their service is out of the world. 8. We were very very pleased when they gave us complimentary desert. 9. Truly our first choice when we go to SF for Indian Food. 10. Mango Lassi was also out of the world and delicious. KEEP UP THE Great Work !!!!

Yelp
Excellent service, excellent food! This was my first visit to Nepa and had such a lovely experience. It was casual, clean, with an easy going vibe. Our waters were always filled and we were checked in on at a good pace. We ordered: Tandoori mix grill Chicken Tikka Masala Dal Makhani Shrimp vindaloo Excellently spiced, these dishes warmed my tastebuds and my belly. I will definitely be coming back!

Yelp
Wow. Belated post, but we went here in November and holy cow, it was the best Indian food either of us have ever had. We could have licked our plates. The servings were generous and the service was so friendly and helpful. We even got free dessert that I was wishing I could pack up to go...if only it wouldn't melt!

Yelp
After having gone to dancing yak a few days prior, it definitely doesn't compare in terms of the flavors. A lot of the curry dishes tasted quite similar to each other, nothing that particularly stood out. I feel we also got a bit strong-armed into ordering more than we needed, ended up with quite a bit of leftovers as well.
google avatar

Michelle Z.

Yelp
Food was okay, but the server pressured us to order a lot more food than we needed. We ended up taking a lot of food home. Despite encouraging us to order more, we ended up having a lot of the same flavor profiles across the table so wish we got more guidance about which dishes to get. I thought the paneer naan, butter chicken, chicken tikka masala, & the chicken chili momos were all good. Wasn't a huge fan of the biryani. It was smaller than expected inside but they were able to accommodate 7 people easily.
google avatar

Yelp
JD is tha man and the food was delicious! We ordered the salmon prokora, lamb rohan josh, vegetable biryani, and garlic naan! Everything was so good. Our go-to place!
google avatar

Yelp
The prices are extremely generous given the tight quality and excellent service. The curries were authentic and on point. The service was super attentive and generous-- got complementary desserts!

Yelp
Great place for a casual meal! We were able to walk in on a weekday and get seated immediately, which was awesome. Food came out relatively fast as well. While the food was good, I wasn't crazy about any dish. Would definitely come back here to try again for the great location and fast service!
google avatar

Yelp
Such a great vibe and ambience. Came here for a friend's birthday and they were so accommodating to a huge table and the variety of vegetarian + meat options were insane. Such flavorful food and they have a bar too if you're in the mood for some alcoholic drinks.

Yelp
tldr; this place is always packed for a reason -- I think it'll be hard to order something from here that you won't enjoy. Great prices, great service, and delicious complimentary pappadum and kulfi bites! Reservations probably not required, but the place filled up quickly around 7pm on a weekday. price: ~$20/person recs: vegetable momos, onion kulcha My friends and I had visited the previous restaurant at this location and had a pretty average experience, so learning that it was under new management as of a year ago was a pleasant surprise, especially considering the huge daily dine-in crowd that suddenly seemed to appear at Nepa. - Onion Kulcha: fresh, flavorful, and plenty to share for a party of three - Aloo Gobi: a perfect blend of spices without being too watery or overwhelming. I felt like I could keep eating this without getting tired of it. - Vegetable Momos: thin and smooth wrapper over a sizeable veggie mix of potatoes, corn, and other tidbits. Sauce was also excellent. To top it all off, they brought papadum as a table appetizer and pistachio kulfi as a complementary dessert. The kulfi was especially incredible. Service was overall really attentive and considerate. Easily would come back and try other sections of the menu (it's extensive)!

Yelp
I heard great things about this place, so I was really looking forward to it. Their extra spicy tikka masala was veryy spicy, even for someone like me with a high tolerance. Next time I'll go for the medium, as the heat made it hard to taste the flavors. They use actual jalapeños, which is pretty unique for an Indian restaurant. The chow mein was just okay, I wouldn't order it again.
google avatar

Gabriella G.

Yelp
Service was great, and the food is amazing. We had our first all-vegetarian meal here and were so impressed! I like Indian food and the options available here for our vegetarian friends were amazing. They ordered... all this food... so many options and varieties! I cannot even speak individually to each of the items ordered as I did not catch all the names. I can tell you that everything was amazing!! So I offer pictures of the foods we shared and just go there and be happy!! It is that good. Enjoy!
google avatar

Kelly Y.

Yelp
Even on a rainy weekday, the place was still packed! We sat at the bar, and it was a great experience. Everyone was so friendly, and it was fun to laugh and chat. we got the paneer pakora, and usually i don't like this from other restaurants, but the batter was great and the ratio of batter to paneer was nice. the paneer had a juiciness that made it great. the baigan bharta and chana palak were flavorful and spicy (medium was a bit spicy for me but i still enjoyed it) would def come back!!
google avatar

Isaac A.

Yelp
Ordered bainghan barta, dal palaak, vegetable Coconut curry, naan and vegetable momos. Highlights to me were the dal and curry. The eggplant barta dish was good but had a very unique flavor that made it my friends favorite of the night and mine least favorite. Naan was a big long piece so good portion size. Ordered takeout, food still hit the spot even at home! Spice was on point too.

Korbin B.

Yelp
A year later, and I want to emphasize this place. Customer service is amazing, food is always good, and the hype around this spot on Divis is full force. Must go Indian restaurant.

Nainy M.

Yelp
The food was delightful. Each dish had authentic flavors, rich spices, and the perfect balance of taste. Navratan Korma, yellow dal were especially outstanding. The restaurant staff were exceptional hosts, making the experience even more enjoyable with their warm hospitality and attentive service. Thank you for delivering such an exceptional culinary experience. I will definitely be returning soon!
google avatar

David N.

Yelp
The customer service was excellent. They even included free dessert. The biryani was good and well balanced and the mango lassi was also quite good. The momos and naan was okay, not great

Yelp
I was so excited to try Nepa after seeing all the great reviews and it didn't disappoint! It was pretty packed on a Friday night so recommend making a reservation. It was also in a great location on Divisadero St near other restaurants and bars. I instantly loved the menu, from a large appetizer menu, momo options, curry, rice and naan- overall so much Indian/Nepalese dishes to choose from! My partner and I split the salmon pakoras, chili chicken, coconut shrimp curry and lamb naan. It was more than enough food and we had leftovers. My favorites were the chili chicken which was so tender and perfectly cooked, and the shrimp curry which was rich and creamy. The service was so friendly and attentive and even gave us a free dessert at the end. Highly recommend Nepa if you're looking for a tasty feast in a lively setting.
google avatar

Tyler K.

Yelp
Ordered the dinner for two plus a vegetarian biryani. Everything in the dinner for two was served quickly and boasting with flavor. The only thing I wouldn't recommend is the vegetarian biryani. It had a very floral smell and taste that overwhelmed the dish.
google avatar

Tiffany C.

Yelp
Came here on a weeknight with three girlfriends and was seated promptly! Love the close proximity to other Divisadero spots especially dessert places Got the butter chicken, garlic and regular naans, a paneer dish and something with chick peas. Everything was solid but nothing especially stood out. +1 star for convenience of location and would visit again for a casual weekday bite.

Jorman V.

Yelp
What a genuinely incredible culinary experience! We ordered the lamb vindaloo, kadai chicken, butter chicken masala, assorted naan bread, and vegetable samosas. Every bite was a symphony on the taste buds. From the aromatics that exuded from the assorted naan to the creaminess of the lamb vindaloo. You will not regret coming to this truly remarkable establishment. But what truly stood out was the unmatched customer service. JD was not only extremely welcoming, but he took the time to explain the dishes to us and was constantly checking in on how we enjoyed the meal. You can tell he was proud of the food coming out of his kitchen. If you're looking for Indian/Nepalese food in the San Francisco. Don't waste your time anywhere else, this is the place for you!

Yelp
Wow... honestly one of my favorite restaurants that I've ever been to. Not only was the food fantastic, but the service/hospitality from the staff was unbeatable. My boyfriend and I decided to try out Nepa Indian Cuisine for dinner on Tuesday night, and we were able to walk-in around 8PM without a problem. Overwhelmed by the menu, we asked one of the waiters for recommendations, and he asked us for whether or not we were vegetarian/non-vegetarian, preferences on meat (chicken for me, lamb for my bf), and our tolerance for spice. Based on that information, he listed out a few dishes that he recommended for each type of meat, which was so incredibly helpful since I had the worst decision paralysis from all of the choices LOL I ended up ordering the Kadai Chicken and my boyfriend ordered the Lamb Rogan Josh. We also shared an order of "Assorted Bread", which was a combination of butter, garlic, and onion naan. Both entrees were delicious - so so so incredibly flavorful, and the meats were both cooked to perfection. The naan was also extremely flavorful, and very soft. We both walked out incredibly full with a good amount of leftovers afterwards (devoured them for lunch the following day). Highly recommend Nepa Indian Cuisine!

Yelp
Excellent service and food, what isn't there to like? We came in here thinking we would be turned away because it was 30min to closing, but were delightfully surprised that their kitchen was still open and were happily greeted by such friendly staff. I just could not believe the phenomenal hospitality they showed us and the things they gave to us on the house: the Papadum, Mango Kulfi, and Chai Tea. We decided to order the Everest Momo, Garlic Nann, Basmati Rice, Coconut Vegetable Curry, and Chicken Tikka Masala, which were all so good. We had absolutely no complaints about anything we tried. The Everest Chicken Momo had Ground Chicken, Himalayan Spices in dough. This dish had such great Curry flavor in it and was nicely moist. The Garlic Nann was the biggest Nann that I have ever seen. It was probably the size of my arm. It also had great flavor and was cooked fresh. The Basmati Rice had a nice fragrance to it and was soft and moist. Thankfully not dry like I have had at other restaurants. The Coconut Vegetable Curry was nice and creamy and the Vegetables were cooked to perfection. The Chicken Tikka Masala had really good Tikka Masala, Tomato and Onion sauce, flavor. Definitely above the average Tikka Masala I have tried and is the best I have tried so far. Also, the Chicken was moist and tender. Probably my favorite of the many yummy things we ate. The Papadum is crispy spiced Lentil Wafers that came with three different sauces. Kind of the texture of chips, but thinner, which were nicely complimented by the sweet, spicy, and mild sauces. The Mango Kulfi was a nice pleasant surprise to be given such an excellent homemade Indian-style Mango Sorbet dessert that was a nice refreshing way to end our meal on such full stomachs. Finally the Chai that they made fresh, had good flavor that wasn't too much on the spicy side, and was also a great way to end our meal, and made me so grateful to the staff for making such great efforts for us. Overall, excellent service and food. Definitely coming here again for the friendly atmosphere and delicious food.

Yelp
I've been here twice for dinner so far, and definitely plan on returning regularly. The staff has been incredibly welcoming. They gave us good recommendations and a nice freebie or two (rice pudding). The space inside felt appropriately snug and was well decorated. On our last trip, we ordered: - Chicken Tikka Masala: Nice texture with well-balanced flavors (not too heavy, not too much tomato, etc.) - Chicken Momos: Recommended by staff; came with several great sauces. - Tandoori Chicken: Tender and well marinated. - Garlic Naan The portions were fairly generous and the prices are a bit lower than similar entrees at other Indian restaurants in the city. Given the quality of the food, Nepa is definitely a no-brainer to add to your regular rotation.
google avatar

Christine Z.

Yelp
The food was so delicious, ordered the fish tikka masala, highly praise for the garlic naan, it was on the thin side and was so good with the tikka masala sauce, the texture was amazing, except that it was a bit burned on the top. Service was top-notch
google avatar

Andres N.

Yelp
WOW! This is by far the best Indian food I have ever had. Great friendly service as well. They also have draft beer and some wine options. We tried the samosas, lamb vindaloo, veggie momos, and chicken biryani. Everything was exceptionally fresh and delicious. We were just casually walking down Divisadero when we passed by this place that sounded good and wasn't busy. We had no idea it would turn into one of our new favorite restaurants. We also appreciated the complimentary appetizer and dessert. The owner introduced himself and made sure to check in on us to make sure we enjoyed everything (which we obviously did). Also, the naan is massive and should probably come with its own table. Absolutely immense but super delicious, we had more than enough to take home to warm up later. This is already a regular dining spot for us.
google avatar

Claire H.

Yelp
You know when you go to a restaurant and things come out suspiciously quickly? Well, food took a little bit more time here which indicated to me that most of the dishes are made to order. The cumin rice was fragrant and fluffy and the spice profile in the chana masala was multidimensional. Don't skip on the naan bread - it comes huffing hot out of the oven. Our helpful waitor asked us how spicy we like our food and we said medium but I would call our curries mild. FYI. This isn't a place you'll go to when you want somewhere with a bit of a vibe on a Friday night but it's pleasant and well looked after and the service is really attentive. It's a place that you mind find yourself going to regularly on a Sunday night for a low-key dinner with friends or your roommates or love.
google avatar

Kishan S.

Yelp
Went to Nepa on a Saturday night with 2 friends no reservation. We were able to get seated immediately. This is a spot that has new management and have totally revamped the place. The food was excellent. Us 3 shared the Nepali thali which provides us with a lot of food for a solid deal. We ordered some add ons to that. Highlights were their Momo's, naan's, and saag paneer. I gave them some feedback on their Gobi and they took it the right way saying they will improve on it. Seems like an earnest management group that truly wants to get better and provide a valuable and quality dining experience. I will be back to try more of their food! Highly recommend!!
google avatar

Sneha J.

Yelp
We had tried the Indian place that was here before NEPA and were unimpressed so it took us a long time to try it once the name changed but we're so glad we finally did! It was delicious - highly recommend the paneer if you like paneer! paneer tikka - 5/5 Momo veg - 3.5 Shahi paneer - 4.5 Garlic naan - 5/5 Sweet lassi - 5/5

Aakash D.

Yelp
We visited Nepa Restaurant and ordered the Nepa Thali, which came with Chicken and Lamb Tandoori. The tandoori meats were a little better than good--flavorful and well-cooked. The saag was the standout, rich and well-seasoned, while the chicken tikka masala was just okay. We also tried the fried chicken momo, which was very good--crispy on the outside and packed with flavorful filling. Overall, a solid dining experience with some great highlights. Would definitely return to try more dishes!

Yelp
So I was SHOCKED by the number of 5 star reviews Nopa Indian Cuisine has -- I am always on the lookout for good, authentic Indian food so ordering from here was very exciting. The food came quickly and was hot and fresh when it arrived. We got the chicken tikka masala (3/5), dal makhani (4/5), manchurian (5/5), garlic naan (5/5), and paneer naan (5/5). The manchurian was scrumptious and very saucy, we loved it! The naans were also super fluffy -- naan gets hard often during delivery but these ones were some of the best I've had outside of India. The dal makhani was nice and spicy and tasted very homemade -- not too rich. The only time that was a miss was the chicken tikka masala, we found that the meat was really overcooked and the gravy lacked flavor overall. I'd probably get something else next time. It was super reasonable for the portions and everything amounted to about $45. We found a little piece of foil in the dal (probably from the naan), but it happens! Would love to go in person at some point to experience what I hear of the warm service.

Yelp
Everything went so amazing. Second time coming here. The restaurant is sparking clean and the food is delicious, the staff is incredibly kind, patient, and attentive. I don't have one single bad thing to say about this place. Love love love love.. we drive from Oakland just to eat here.
google avatar

Anubhav S.

Yelp
We arrived when the restaurant was packed. So the service was slow. But it was slower than even anticipated. The restaurant became empty, half of the people had left, but we had nothing on our table. The food was average. We ordered the dal tadka and mix vegetable. The vegetable curry was good. I was disappointed by the momos. They seemed to be not fresh, something that I don't expect from a nepali restaurant. I ordered a watermelon punch which felt very syrupy in taste. Overall, for a 4.9 rated yelp restaurant in SF, this was disappointing.

Christina N.

Yelp
10/10 would recommend the fish pakora and anything lamb. This food is delicious and authentic, give it a try you won't be disappointed and it hits the spot every time.
google avatar

Ron G.

Yelp
Stellar dinner Excellent service and attention Fresh and delicious Gluten free naan was great
google avatar

Kedar V.

Yelp
Certainly an improvement over the prior business that was in this space - but still misses the mark. I was expecting a lot more out of the Chicken Tikka Masala, because it was really dry and the curry was strangely chunky (as though it wasn't blended enough). The Navratan Korma was quite good though! Garlic naan was a miss, too chewy and dry. Overall a 3/5, maybe better for dining in rather than takeout!
google avatar

Yelp
this place needs to be 10 stars! Everything is amazing. You know you're going to be in for a treat when just walking past their front door, you're seduced by the gorgeous aromas coming from the kitchen! Food is 5 stars! We have dined here several times and ordered various dishes and they have all been divine! Prices are very fair Staff is 5 stars! Very friendly and helpful. Ambiance is 5 stars! Restaurant is cute enough for date nite. Keep up the great work!

Yelp
I fashion myself as an epicure in that I love consuming fine food and drinks and I heard about this Indian restaurant and decided to give it a try and it met all my expectations of fine dining and the ambience in this restaurant is great and the service was very friendly and I definitely recommend people to try this place. I give them 5 stars!
google avatar

Andrew R.

Yelp
I just tried this place and had such an amazing experience! The food was all delicious and the service was so great, and the restaurant has a pleasant vibe to it. We got the following: Kashmiri Chicken curry - so good, our waiter recommended this over the other dish I ordered, he's real af for that eggplant pakora - surprisingly delicious. I would order again. garlic naan - huge and delicious vegetable biryani - great flavor, so many vegetables in there (in a good way) and huge portion! We also tried some of the sherbet and it was the perfect ending to the meal. Prices are very reasonable given the size and quality. I will definitely be back!!
google avatar

Pamela S.

Yelp
Delicious food for a great price! We had the chicken dal, curry chicken, aloo gobi, rice and naan. The flavor was just right along with the spice level. (we ordered medium). The seating was comfortable as we sat at a table with a cushioned bench and chairs. Our waiter was very attentive. One of the best Indian restaurants we've experienced.
google avatar

Yelp
Best Indian food and service was amazing! Everything was so delicious and decent portion sizes too. It's a must try if you're craving Indian food!

Yelp
Worth completely for the price you pay. Nice and friendly staff. Very tasty and good quality food. We were 2 and we order for 3 and paid 63 dollars. The only thing I would change is the cleaning!!! The table cloth was very dirty!

Yelp
Currently, my fav Indian spot - the tastiest food & most amazing service! They have really big portions and everything comes out super fresh. Honestly, every single item we ordered was so good I have no regrets. The Naan is high quality and very large in size meanwhile, the curry is flavorful. I would say if you have a pretty good tolerance for spice, the spiciness is not strong. Of note, they do serve complimentary Papadum. Genuinely, because everything is SO good, I would like to come continuously and try all the other menu items as well.

Yelp
What a HORRIBLE experience! Made a reservation for 3 people at 7pm via Yelp and arrived on time but was ignored for over 5 minutes by the entire staff. Had to flag someone down and told them we had a reservation and he looked at us like his head was going to explode probably because the place was packed and there were zero tables available. He assured us we would be seated soon and then NEVER came back. Ignored us again as well as the line of people waiting as well. He then shows back up but goes to another group to ask how many was in there party and was about to seat them when we told the guy we not only had a reservation but had already been waiting 20mns after being told we would be seated soon! He asked again how many of us which we said THREE and he brings us to a table for TWO that was definitely too small to add a third chair. We asked about a table in the back for 4 and he said the manager didn't want to use that table because it was wobbly and we tested it asked him to level it a bit because at this point it was better than waiting another 30mns. The food was good but they forgot to bring out 2 items we ordered and then rushed us and brought the check. We figured ok since they forgot it they probably didn't add it to the bill..WRONG! They still tried to charge us for it! So not only was the service horrible with ZERO apologies they tried to over charge us for food we didn't get! Do yourself the favor...order take out and skip the rude and inattentive staff!

Yelp
What a treat it was to visit and enjoy the delicious cuisine at Nepa Indian! The service was fantastic. We were greeted immediately and seated per our reservation. We were a party of 5, so we ordered plenty. We had garlic naan, mango lassi, Bhindi Masala okra, Butter Chicken, Chicken MoMo, Tandoori Mixed Plate, Baigan Bharta eggplant with rice. Every dish met our expectations. Street parking only. The restaurant is updated and nice. Our server was very welcoming and polite. He made sure that we were comfortable and took great care of our table. This satisfied our cravings for exceptional Indian food completely!!!

Yelp
We really enjoyed the butter chicken and garlic naan. Everything was so flavorful and delicious. Also highly recommend the mango lassi - it was not too sweet and just right! The waiter was also so kind and brought us pistachio kulfi and mango kulfi for a birthday celebration. There were a lot of people on a Friday night and many birthday celebrations going on. Overall, great lively atmosphere.
