I recently got the chance to dine at this restaurant, and honestly, the whole experience felt magical. The atmosphere is incredibly romantic—perfect for a date night or just a cozy evening out. I especially loved the bar area; it has such a warm, inviting vibe that makes you want to stay a little longer. What really stood out to me was the chef. You can feel how dedicated he is, and how deeply connected he is to Vietnamese culture and his hometown. Every dish feels like a piece of his heritage, delivered with so much care and pride. The presentation was beautiful too—one of those meals you remember not just for the flavor, but for how thoughtfully everything was put together. The service was top-notch, the kind that makes you feel genuinely welcomed. Overall, it was an amazing experience, and I’m sure anyone who visits will walk away with the same lasting impression.

It was an amazing experience at Nepele. The atmosphere is so cozy; from the moment I walk in. The warm lighting, elegant decor, and comfortable seating make it an ideal place for dining. The flavors in each dish were perfectly balanced, and the ingredients tasted incredibly fresh. Every meal I had was full of flavor and cooked to perfection. I really suggest the Veal sweetbread with comté sauce and Pigeon with Hoa Loc mango. Many thanks to the team for giving excellent service during my dinner. Their menu expertise and attention to detail resulted in a perfect eating experience.

Where do I even begin… The food is truly great, that’s the most important thing, for sure. But excellent service is, in my opinion, what makes a culinary experience genuinely remarkable, and that’s exactly what we had. We spent our anniversary there, and we loved every detail from the moment we arrived. You’re first led to the bar to enjoy the opening part of the menu; then we were guided upstairs to the upper floor of the classic-style house (perhaps French-colonial, though I’m not entirely sure), which has a minimal yet creative and contemporary décor with perfect lighting. Our waiters —and honestly, every staff member we interacted with, from the moment we walked in until we said goodbye— were incredibly knowledgeable and gentle, offering detailed explanations of the ingredients and the Chef’s creative vision behind each dish. We were constantly surprised throughout dinner. I especially loved the beef tartare, the scallop, the lamb, the mole… and the sourdough bread with black truffle butter was on another level. After dinner, we were lucky enough to see more of the beautiful house, which made us feel truly at home. And the enriching experience didn’t stop there. The final part of the menu is enjoyed back at the bar, where we were surprised with a delicious anniversary dessert (on top of the already amazing ones we’d had before). That moment came with a thoughtful and passionate conversation about food, flavors, and cultural experiences with the lovely floor manager (I’m not sure of her exact role/position —a young woman with an Australian accent) and our waiter… And the cherry on top? A mezcal toast to celebrate the wonderful experience at Nephele and the craftsmanship of the barman (who, we were told, creates many of the spectacular drinks we enjoyed during our dinner). Coming from Mexico, I must say we don’t often get to experience such warm and elevated culinary experiences, which is why our night at Nephele was truly unique, one we won’t forget.

About this place, to start you are welcome in a very cozy lounge to enjoy a cocktail and your 3 first appetizer of the menu. All that while enjoying some nice music from their vinyls collection. After that they great you to your table where you will b3 presemted the remainer of your dishes. The food was very balanced and delicious. My favourite was the young pigeon with mole sauce. Kudos to our waiter, he really took the time to explain all the dishes amd really added to the experience

While some ingredients are of good quality, the overall execution doesn’t bring them together harmoniously. Moreover, the concept itself feels unclear and doesn’t strongly align with the culinary identity being presented. It seems to miss a unifying story or a sense of purpose that ties the dishes and experience together. Without a deeper narrative or creative direction behind the menu, the dining experience feels superficial — more focused on form than substance. In short, while there is potential, the food and concept both need more coherence, emotional depth, and storytelling to truly resonate with diners.

I had such an amazing experience dining here. The service was superb and extremely friendly. The food was top notch and paired fantastically with wine. I am still thinking about the sourdough, truffle butter, and honey dish. This is a place you will not regret visiting.

The vibes and atmosphere at Nephele Saigon are top-notch, elegant and inviting. The cocktail drinks at the bar are good as well. However, the food and wine tasting falls a bit short of expectations and could use some improvement to match the overall experience. Hoping they level it up to match the ambiance!
