The staff at Neptune Society was wonderful to work with during a very difficult time. They were kind, understanding, and respectful. They followed through with everything they said they would and made the entire process as seamless as possible. I am so grateful that my mom had pre-planned her wishes with Neptune. She made a great choice in choosing Neptune Society.

I wish I could say that I didn't need the Neptune Society's services, but on the darkest day of my life, I am so grateful that my parents had made arrangements through the Neptune Society. My dad told me that if anything ever happened to him, to call the number on the card in his wallet. So in my despair, on a holiday weekend, in total shock at the tragic, immediate passing of both of my parents, I made the call. My call was answered by the kindest man, Eric, who helped assure me that he could help and would make the process as smooth as possible. The Salt Lake Office has been incredible. They took care of everything, called to check on me and my surviving family, and had such dignity in taking care of my parents' bodies. Now, after this tragic ordeal, my husband and I have realized that we need to use Neptune Society for ourselves so that our kids will also have the help and reassurance that we have had. We are so grateful for them and highly recommend them because during your time of loss, their experience, professionalism, and helpfulness are priceless.

The staff (Eric and Brenda) was incredibly easy to work with. They are obviously professionals at this, which greatly reduced the stress of the situation. In fact, the entire process was very efficient. There was a compassionate environment, which was also greatly appreciated. And the price was just right. Thank you, Neptune Society!

Neptune Society made a very difficult time so much easier. My mom had a prepaid plan with them, and from start to finish, their team was kind, professional, and truly compassionate. When we picked up her ashes, they had a private room ready and greeted us with heartfelt condolences. The paperwork was all prepared, and they explained everything clearly. I’m so grateful for how smoothly and respectfully everything was handled. I highly recommend Neptune Society – Salt Lake City to anyone needing end-of-life services.

My sales rep for For my NEPTUNE contract was very personable. He had a luncheon at a very fine restaurant in St. George. There were eight people that showed up and out of those eight I believe everyone made an appointment with him. I stayed after everyone left and signed up right then and there. I like their product. I like all of the contract statements to help me have peace of mind and closure for my end of life decisions.

The Neptune Society representative I spoke to was empathetic and knowledgeable. She walked me through the process and sent me informational materials soon after we talked. She also provided valuable information I had not known, such as the fact that as a veteran I could be interred in a military cemetery if I wanted. I was very grateful for her assistance, and now have peace of mind that the arrangements after my death will be taken care of in a competent and efficient way.

My name is Darlene Jacobi my presentation for Neptune Society was so good David kratky was a world class speaker it was enjoyable the way he explained things he was very honest and informative I suggest that you ask to speak to David and he will answer all questions this company is amazing and he deserves to be the main spokesman. I have been to many lectures and seminars and David was the best one out of the 10 that I have listened to to keep my attention. I wanna thank you for the wonderful presentation.

Another organization that makes you wish we could give Zero stars. Below is what I sent their offices in their survey inquiries as to our experience. Everyone was very nice, but there were phenomenal inconsistencies from office to office. No one seemed to know which office would be responsible given the state of death, state of purchase, and date of residence were all different. Once settled on SLC being in control no one knew which mortuary would be used. Once we thought everything was taken care of the deceased was cremated and placed on a shelf because either no one informed the mortuary what to do with the remains, OR the mortuary was so utterly incompetent as to forget to ship the remains. Furthermore the death certificates sat in your offices for at least a week and nothing transpired until WE contacted you to inquire where the remains and the death certificates were. It took a day for you to figure it out. If we had Miss Tammy’s second grade class running the show I would expect these errors, but this is your job and what you are supposedly professionals in. If you’d like to one up yourself, you sent the remains via the post office. Well they tried to deliver outside of business hours and no one was available to sign. They refuse to redeliver the remains so now WE have to go track down WHICH POST OFFICE THE REMAINS ARE IN AND GO AND RETRIEVE THEM OURSELVES!!!! (This is a direct reflection of the shipping terms set by Neptune society.) So while I appreciate how kind your people have been, there is ZERO chance I will recommend you and I will go out of my way to tell people to stay away from this organization who can’t even treat the process with the very least of professionalism, dignity nor respect. (When asked if they can share my experience this was my response) Yes, PLEASE DO share my experience far and wide.

Yelp
The Neptune Society's Eric MacKay and Jonette Garcia were absolutely wonderful in my family's time of shock and sadness. Kindness and efficient are not powerful enough to express the peace of mind we felt as the process unfolded. Thanks for your caring for Michael and helping me and my family.

Yelp
there is rating available. one star is too much! very disappointed in the representation and change of pricing in my 3-4 months of trying to finalize a pre-planned cremation. i finally gave up because of their incomptence and out and out misrepresentation. the following was my final straw email! after reviewing the new "paper contract", please understand that i am no longer interested in utilizing neptune. this is very disappointing to me. i fully trusted working with neptune and with this ongoing experience, and misleading information has left me speechless and dismayed at the unprofessional, and ever changing costs. please consider this email the end of any potential business relationship. do not reach out. very disappointed, bb *buyer beware!!!! be cautious when dealing with neptune. i felt like i was dealing with a used car salesman!

Yelp
We went with their anywhere plan. They will pick up body anywhere, cremate and deliver ashes where you tell them. Price seemed fair.

Yelp
I want to thank the Neptune Society of Salt Lake City on the care of our loved one. He had set the pre arranged with Neptune several years ago and was quite satisfied with the contract and what they would do when the time came. It has been a pleasure doing business with this company and we are pleased it has been seamless along the way. Thank you again for treating him with dignity and honor for his service.

Yelp
Neptune society respectfully picked my mother within 2 hours and the whole matter of transport was discreet. The process requires some involvement that can't be pre arranged or avoided, like identification and reviewing the death certificate. This stuff isn't pleasant, but Neptune society were very kind and helpful. Most importantly, matt dobson has assumed responsibility for arranging an internment at Arlington national cemetery for my parents. Such a relief because the process is stringent. Nothing here is seamless (as previous reviewer discussed), but tons of stuff was done behind the scenes. My husband and I have decided to sign up for ourselves.

Yelp
I had no idea what to do when my husband passed away and Ben Sears walked me through every step in such a caring way I knew my husband was in the right place! In fact I am going to start the process for my mother and myself within the next few weeks.
