Neptune Society

We had a great experience with David Kratky that works for Neptune. He made sure we understood everything and took all the time needed to make sure we were comfortable with everything in the policy. He explained each item and made sure we had no questions before he continued. He made something that could be difficult or uncomfortable less stressful and at times even enjoyable. I would recommend Neptune to anyone considering cremation, and I would recommend David for a salesman to help you through this process.

The staff at Neptune Society was wonderful to work with during a very difficult time. They were kind, understanding, and respectful. They followed through with everything they said they would and made the entire process as seamless as possible. I am so grateful that my mom had pre-planned her wishes with Neptune. She made a great choice in choosing Neptune Society.

Neptune did a wonderful job. It was so nice to have everything pre-arranged and there were no surprises or up charges. I have recommended them to many people since our experience has been so good with them.

Neptune Society is truly a godsend for those seeking cremation. They are transoarent and clear and allow you to propane and make all necessary decisions. They are thorough, compassionate and caring and get the “business” done so you are free to grieve. I am so grateful for them

I wish I could say that I didn't need the Neptune Society's services, but on the darkest day of my life, I am so grateful that my parents had made arrangements through the Neptune Society. My dad told me that if anything ever happened to him, to call the number on the card in his wallet. So in my despair, on a holiday weekend, in total shock at the tragic, immediate passing of both of my parents, I made the call. My call was answered by the kindest man, Eric, who helped assure me that he could help and would make the process as smooth as possible. The Salt Lake Office has been incredible. They took care of everything, called to check on me and my surviving family, and had such dignity in taking care of my parents' bodies. Now, after this tragic ordeal, my husband and I have realized that we need to use Neptune Society for ourselves so that our kids will also have the help and reassurance that we have had. We are so grateful for them and highly recommend them because during your time of loss, their experience, professionalism, and helpfulness are priceless.

The staff (Eric and Brenda) was incredibly easy to work with. They are obviously professionals at this, which greatly reduced the stress of the situation. In fact, the entire process was very efficient. There was a compassionate environment, which was also greatly appreciated. And the price was just right. Thank you, Neptune Society!

Stacie Johansson was extremely polite and very easy to talk to. She had all of the answers and listened to everything. I had concerns of living in Utah now, but still many connections in Washington state. I was extremely surprised how Neptune has everything covered so it makes it easier for my only son to not have to run around, trying to figure all these things out

What a vulnerable time for families. Neptune's pre-ordering eliminated the decision making. From the selection of the local partnered mortuary, to their pickup, transporting of our loved one (a US veteran) with the upmost respect, dignity and compassion, to their funeral home. Neptune conducted all stages of transporting our loved ones through to her final destination 2500 miles across country for burial. They not only completed each leg of the journey but kept our family informed every step along the way. Whether sheparding us through the paperwork (they did EVERYTHING) notifying government agencies of the death and providing the requested (quantity) of "sealed" certified copies of the death certificate, a relief and silent "Bless you Neptune" was uttered. I can't begin to say enough good things about Neptune Society. I am forever their Town Crier.

The Neptune Society's Eric MacKay and Jonette Garcia were absolutely wonderful in my family's time of shock and sadness. Kindness and efficient are not powerful enough to express the peace of mind we felt as the process unfolded. Thanks for your caring for Michael and helping me and my family.

there is rating available. one star is too much! very disappointed in the representation and change of pricing in my 3-4 months of trying to finalize a pre-planned cremation. i finally gave up because of their incomptence and out and out misrepresentation. the following was my final straw email! after reviewing the new "paper contract", please understand that i am no longer interested in utilizing neptune. this is very disappointing to me. i fully trusted working with neptune and with this ongoing experience, and misleading information has left me speechless and dismayed at the unprofessional, and ever changing costs. please consider this email the end of any potential business relationship. do not reach out. very disappointed, bb *buyer beware!!!! be cautious when dealing with neptune. i felt like i was dealing with a used car salesman!

We went with their anywhere plan. They will pick up body anywhere, cremate and deliver ashes where you tell them. Price seemed fair.

Both R Eric and Rick were very helpful. They are Professional. I really appreciate their assistances. I really enjoyed the services. They made feel very comfortable during such a difficult times. Eric made feel very comfortable. I will remember them til I die. Thank you very very much. I am looking forward to seeing and working with them in the future.

I want to thank the Neptune Society of Salt Lake City on the care of our loved one. He had set the pre arranged with Neptune several years ago and was quite satisfied with the contract and what they would do when the time came. It has been a pleasure doing business with this company and we are pleased it has been seamless along the way. Thank you again for treating him with dignity and honor for his service.

Service for my wife was provided by Eric MacKay and his team in Salt Lake, UT. They were organized, punctual, informative, and respectful at a time when I needed help. They made things easier and less stressful. My thanks to them!

At a very rough time for my family Neptune Society SLC totally stepped up. They made the process very smooth and were beyond considerate to me.

Neptune society respectfully picked my mother within 2 hours and the whole matter of transport was discreet. The process requires some involvement that can't be pre arranged or avoided, like identification and reviewing the death certificate. This stuff isn't pleasant, but Neptune society were very kind and helpful. Most importantly, matt dobson has assumed responsibility for arranging an internment at Arlington national cemetery for my parents. Such a relief because the process is stringent. Nothing here is seamless (as previous reviewer discussed), but tons of stuff was done behind the scenes. My husband and I have decided to sign up for ourselves.

I had no idea what to do when my husband passed away and Ben Sears walked me through every step in such a caring way I knew my husband was in the right place! In fact I am going to start the process for my mother and myself within the next few weeks.
