Very Tasty. The papaya Salad had a lot of depth we love about a great papaya Salad. My Panang Beef was really good....need a touch more pepper but it was wonderfully rich and perfect thickness of broth...also surprisingly a lot of protein.

Google
We ordered the calamari, larb ga, and spring rolls for appetizers. I got the duck red curry for entree along with the thai iced Everything was so delicious! We came to DC for traveling but i would definitely return when i come back to DC

Google
Flavors were pretty alright. The basil fried rice had a good flavor, albeit a bit mild/something missing (more basil, white pepper, oyster sauce). The rice was also a bit overcooked for me/mushy. The calamari was very crispy. But super overcooked on the inside/chewy. The dipping sauce was too sweet as well Prices are a bit much/not worth it for me as well.

Google
Amazing food and service. Waitress was accommodating and friendly. Pad Thai, satay chicken, spring rolls were excellent. Wish they had a small Thai Salad but only in Fl I guess. Highly recommended

Google
Delicious food and great service! We came for lunch and were seated right away and given water immediately. We started with the chicken satay which came hot and was delicious. For entrees I got the pad se ew and my friend ordered the chef special crispy salmon kapow. Both were really good and for drinks we each got a Thai iced tea which was perfectly sweet. They have several hot sauces and chili oils available as well by request. Overall a great experience and good food!

Google
Walked in and ordered takeout - it was ready quickly and was 100% correct. Shrimp Pad Thai was delicious - although I missed the crushed peanuts usually on it like at home. Chicken Satay was good and the steamed dumplings were very flavorful. Would definitely go here again if in the area.

Google
This is the first time coming to this place and I want to say wow what an experience. From walking in and being greeted at the door with happiness and professionalism I was impressed. The waiter was very nice and knowledgeable suggested a couple plates that was very good so I pick the Spicy Basil Fried Rice. In no time the food came out and I went down to take the first bite, it exploded in my mouth as every taste bud in my mouth enjoyed it. If you are in the area of Arlington looking for great an atmosphere, awesome food, and reasonable price try this place you will be impressed on how they treat you and how the food is superb.

Google
Good Americanized Thai food. I had papaya salad and those were the crunchiest papaya I’ve had in a long time. The drunken noodles were slightly spicy and I enjoyed them. I got a booth even though I was alone. I like that. Busy and fast place

Yelp
Came here for an out of office lunch, the server was super attentive and on point with our order. The meals came out on time and the waiter followed up as needed. We were sat in the back of the restaurant with very dim lighting, understanding the size of the party it made sense but it was very awkward to be in the cut with minimal lighting. Would've been a higher rating other than that.

Yelp
Visiting from California and staying in an AirBnB. The host left Neramitra as a recommendation so we walked to it - it wasn't crowded so we were hesitant but wow - the food was AMAZING. Pad curry noodles, drunken noodles and green curry chicken were stellar. Perfect texture and delicate tastes were absolutely on point. Everyone at the table agreed - and that's not easy with Thai food. Just like the other reviews say, the food came out super fast and hot. Cannot recommend highly enough - oh and the bill for 5 was barely over $100. I haven't had a bill under $200 even for 4 in years! Bravo Netamitra!

Yelp
HIGHLY RECOMMEND. The food is absolutely amazing! We went here for lunch and ordered the Tom Kha Soup and the Pad Curry- so flavorful and right off the stove. So fresh! The service was quick, not many people there around 1245pm.

Yelp
A good pre-show Thai option in Crystal City not too far from the metro and Synetic Theatre as well as the water park nearby. We got here at 6:45 pm (show was at 8, a bit tight). Got seated quickly and were able to place our order not too long after. Food came quickly, a big plus! We could then relax a bit and enjoy our dinner despite the potentially tight timeline. The Pattaya Seafood dish was good, with stir-fried shrimp, scallops, squid and mussels in red curry paste and basil. You could choose among 3 levels of spice: mild, medium, or Thai spicy (as in very spicy). Clean and spacious (not cramped) restroom, a big plus. They got booths, look comfy. To find a quiet corner, we opted for a non booth table.

Yelp
I grabbed takeout from here after a long day of conferences, and was impressed by it! I ordered the drunken noodles, and they might be some of the top drunken noodles I've had yet! The rice noodles were perfectly chewy, and there was a good mix of other ingredients in the dish. Even though it took me 40 minutes to get home, my dinner was still delicious, so I can only imagine how it is when you're at the restaurant. Seems like a casual and quiet place, so I would head here for an easy meal if you're looking for Thai in the area.

Yelp
Neramitra seems to have been around for a good handful of years in Crystal City, offering an extensive menu of appetizers, soups, salads, entrees, curries, noodle & rice dishes, house specialties, and drinks. We came here for dinner, and we ordered: Spring Rolls (they were super hot, right out of the fryer, and very crispy! The filling was jam-packed with mixed veggies, and I liked that it had a lot of cabbage, too! The house special sauce to dip the rolls in were a great complement); Chicken Panang Curry (while the consistency was thinner than I normally like, the curry still had great flavor and had a nice little kick to it! It had generous amount of chicken and broccoli florets); Pad Thai (with chicken; you can request the dish to be made more 'wet,' which I loved! The flavor was great, and the serving size, again, was quite generous, with ample amount of noodles, chicken, and bean sprouts); Drunken Noodles (with chicken; I really enjoyed this dish, as it had a nice kick to it, and the noodles were stir-fried perfectly and had that great stir-fried taste! The chili pepper, the garlic, and the basil were all pronounced); and, an order of the Crispy Duck Kapow (soft-fried duck with spicy basil sauce, topped with crispy basil; the sauce was very flavorful, and the duck itself was moist, tender, and crispy; I was so glad that the duck was fresh and did not have an off-putting taste or odor to it!). We also ordered a Thai iced tea, which was strong and creamy - yum! Our server was Ms. Sugunya, and she was so friendly, welcoming, and checked in with us throughout our dining experience. She was so sweet, and we absolutely enjoyed having her! The restaurant itself is beautiful, with the carved wooden decor that outlined the ceiling, and the place had a nice chic vibe to it. There's limited metered street parking, but we were able to snag a spot right in front. +Spring Rolls! +Drunken Noodles! +Crispy Duck Kapow +Thai iced tea +ask for Ms. Sugunya :D +friendly staff! +limited metered street parking

Yelp
I visited this place for Wednesday dinner. If you are around the area and craving Thai, it is a decent place to visit considering the location, but it doesn't have anything special. I tried their Pad Thai & Panang Curry. They both were pretty good but are extremely flavorful. If you like strong flavors, you might like this place. I personally am fan of more bland flavors, so I had to drink water in between bites. For service, not sure if it's because I visited during weekdays and there are few people, but servers were eyeing on us so we felt little interrupted. They come as soon as we took a last bite from the plate or if we put down our utensils to take the plate away. On the upside, service was quick! I personally like the seating area. They have booths mostly so you feel private & cozy.

Yelp
2.3 Stars at most. We come to this area once a year and normally dine in and order takeaway at 2-3 times at every visit to the area. This visit I noticed there wasn't a lunch menu. Anyways, I ordered almost $70 in food and l an extra rice on the side to feed 3 adults and 2 kids. Only to get home 4 hours later to find the rice was missing. I am peeved, to say the least (I should also note that this is the second time this has happened with my takeaway order from here), which is perplexing to me since my order was repeated 2x over the phone. When i came to pay and pickup, the bag was stapled, so i'm guessing it was my fault for not checking the contents of the bag. I'm not sure where the disconnect is, but this is something that should be addressed, as it is so annoying that someone cannot do quality control. The food is okay, nothing to rave about and will be the last time I come here. There are many other options in Arlington that's way better. Be warned that you will pay for food only to not receive what was ordered.

Yelp
I love this place but the only barrier that I have is parking. It's a hassle to find a parking space despite the garage. Once you do make it in, you will find a nice drink selection menu with traditional Thai food dishes. Customer Service is always great as they are tentative to your needs and it's reasonably priced. If you have the patience for parking, go and check it out.

Yelp
Been in once; had the drunken noodles and the spring rolls. The food itself was tasty, and the service relatively friendly. The place itself was rather quaint and elegantly-decorated. The reason they don't get more than three stars is because of how jilted and awkward their hours are. They aren't open late, which makes making post-7pm dinner plans difficult, and their mid-afternoon break between lunch and dinner is an additional complication.

Yelp
Was walking back from the metro station to my hotel and stopped by for a quick dinner. The place was near empty and we were seated immediately. ATMOSPHERE: The place was clean, quiet, and tidy and decorated really well. Lots of indoor seating. I liked the art on the wall and scattered ornaments. I can't comment on the parking situation since I walked there. FOOD: We ordered the pad Thai chicken and the panang curry chicken. I was not expecting the pad Thai to taste so good - it was tangy, saucy, and really flavorful. I liked that it came with a bed of shaved carrots on top too. The panang curry was a different story - very typical for Thai curry, a bit bland, and the chicken was dry. They do give you a tray of hot sauce/chili powder, which came in handy to spice up the curry. SERVICE: Good, our server was very attentive and quick. Our food came out very quickly, too. PRICE/VALUE: The pad Thai was huge, amazing portions for the price (~$14). The curry (also ~$14) on the other hand was not - small compared to the pad Thai and only a small bowl of rice to eat with the curry. Overall, I was not expecting this place to have such a good pad Thai, definitely rivaling some of my favorite Houston locations. My recommendation is to stick to the noodle dishes here and ask for the tray of hot sauce/chili powder to spice things up.

Yelp
Omg this place ROCKED. I was so impressed with the quality of the drunken noodles and the service provided. They gave a generous amount of thai iced tea too, which is always a plus
google avatar

Yelp
Pad Thai is a must and green curry is good. Reasonable price, portion of food and serving time.

Yelp
I had an ok meal. The Tom Kha soup was actually delicious . Good portion of seafood. My main course was the sweet and sour chicken, it was ok but not great. The chicken was on the dry side, the sauce was ok but not great and the pineapple chucks were hard. Service was ok. Nice interior, sadly outdoor seating was closed.
google avatar

Cathy G.

Yelp
Honestly it's a solid and affordable place for Thai food. Service is always fast and friendly and the food is consistent. Though the food doesn't blow my mind and the decor isn't anything to write home about - if you're looking for some tasty and affordable Thai food that's basically always available and open - definitely recommend the spot

Yelp
Best Chicken Satay anywhere! I stopped in for a quick lunch and was immediately greeted by a very nice hostess. The place is quiet and somewhat upscale. A nice ambiance for a quiet dinner date. The service was impeccable. Multiple waiters were there the second I needed something. I had the Chicken Satay with their peanut sauce and it was phenomenal! Perfectly cooked and excellent flavor. They have a full Thai menu so I can t wait to return. Also, check out the selection of authentic Thai beers.

Yelp
While visiting my brother who lives in the area, we made a stop at Neramitra to have some Thai food for dinner. We were seated right away and the staff was so friendly. The whole restaurant was very clean and the ambiance was just right. The food came out quickly and was so tasty! The portion was a good size so I had some leftovers. I couldn't wait until the next day to eat it though so I just had second dinner that same night
google avatar

Yelp
We love Neramitra! My husband and I used to live nearby, and frequently ordered spring rolls and curry. Now that we live farther away, I order extra entrees so I have a few delicious Neramitra meals whenever we do treat ourselves. And really, doesn't a good curry get better as a leftover? My husband always gets the red curry, though he's also a fan of the green curry. My favorite is the panang curry with either chicken or tofu. On our most recent trip, I got curry and an order of tofu pad Thai. Already can't wait for the next time we stop in Crystal City!

Yelp
A very solid Thai restaurant in the National Landing area. The staff members are super friendly. Food is as good as it can get and is super filling. I ordered the Drunken Noodles ($15), consisting of stir-fried wide rice noodles with chili pepper, garlic and basil. Not that spicy, but that's just me.
google avatar

Tanusree M.

Yelp
Came here with the team for lunch while I was in Arlington for work. I ordered the beef with green beans, unfortunately it wasn't that great. There was no depth of flavor you usually expect from Thai food and the beef was a bit tough. Others in my group ordered basil fried rice and pad see ew, and they seemed to enjoy their dishes though.
google avatar

Heather F.

Yelp
Delicious food, great service. We had the drunken noodle and beef curry both were wonderful and filling.

Yelp
Amazing food Centrally located- near Hotel My party of 3 ordered over the phone and walked to pick up our food. We enjoyed an order of Spring Rolls, Spicy Basil Fried Rice with chicken, Green Curry, and the Salmon Spicy Lime dish. The food was flavorful and just the right amount of spicy! The establishment was clean and quiet, our food was ready when we arrived. There is a wine list with a full bar options.

Beth R.

Yelp
I ordered abs paid online - when we picked up it was the completely wrong order. I called to tell them and the woman on the phone said do not bring the food back. When we went back they demanded the other food and would not give us what we paid for. I would tread lightly when ordering from here - questionable food safety and customer service practices.
google avatar

Yelp
Delicious. Tom yum flavorful, the drunken noodle was hot and full of fantastic wide rice noodle. Always wanted to try massaman curry and they had a beef one which was absolutely amazing. New flavors and spices and the big beef chunks were lean and tender. Will come back a lot.
google avatar

James G.

Yelp
Good food, loved their mango sticky rice. Their lab gai was flavorful, but didn't have enough lettuce or cabbage wraps to enjoy the lab gai. Their chicken pad sew yew was yummy. Great job guys
google avatar

Kelly N.

Yelp
Standard good place for lunch, quick service to get in and out. Flavor not that strong, but I probably should have stuck to Thai (instead of Chinese cashew chicken). Would try the noodles if I went back again.
google avatar

Rob H.

Yelp
I got the chicken and beef fried rice, worth getting. I was just visiting for the week.
google avatar

Travis I.

Yelp
My son had never tried Thai, so we decided now was the time. I've visited before and always found the staff friendly and agreeable. I had the pad Thai, which was perfectly spicy and the chicken bites were soft and tasty. My son ate their fried rice with chicken and was more than pleased with his meal. The establishment is a solid hit and dependable.

Sandy B.

Yelp
I ordered the chicken basil fried rice and I wish I didn't. I didn't taste any flavor except the burnt smell of rice. There was barely any chicken in it for $16.50. Service was fine and but food terrible so I will not be going back.
google avatar

Cali W.

Yelp
This place had really great bar service. This place has a Full bar. I loved the ambience. Best part is that they even have a coat rack room to the right as you walk in. The food was delicious. I had their pad Mixed Veggies (stir fried of mixed veggies in like garlic sauce and I added chicken. Great flavors. They had single serving bottles of Prosecco which I liked. Their bathroom was also clean and stocked.

Yelp
It took me awhile to try Neramitra because, while I love Thai food, I'm a little closer to Urban Thai and the recently burned down but hopefully soon to reopen Top Thai. But, last month, I got a stomach bug that kept me from going out but also made me not want to cook, and I had an unusual craving for pad Thai (which I otherwise rarely order), and Neramitra had the lowest delivery fee on Uber Eats and a quick delivery time, so I placed an order. A week later, I had to work late with zoom calls but was very hungry, so I ordered their drunken noodles for delivery. Having enjoyed both, I decided to try eating in and ordering my "usual" Thai dish, Penang curry. The Penang is great! In the top two of the dozen or more Thai restaurants I've visited in the broader area. They have a nice, comfortable dining area... if you want a place to sit comfortably and talk while you eat rather than the quick service ordeal, they're among the best places for that in Crystal City. Our server was very nice. And while the prices at Thai restaurants in the area are mostly the same where that's probably not how you're choosing where to eat, theirs are $0.50 to $1 less per dish than most of their competition. Entrees are generally ~$14. All in all, a great place. I look forward to both getting delivery from them and dining in again.

Yelp
My review is long overdue for Neramitra but my experience I definitely can't forget. After researching all morning for a place to go for happy hour, Neramitra popped up & it was conveniently around the corner from my hotel. Seeing as I was on crutches it was important I didn't go too far. Upon entering, the place was quiet with just a few customers & I was able to find a seat at the bar. The downside of sitting at the bar was the GNATS! The gnats drove me crazy & it seemed to not bother the staff which was quite a concern. IMO they need to work on being more clean & better store their fruit juices. Food: Chicken Tom Yum Soup -- probably the best I've ever had. I wish I could've taken a bowl back to the hotel. Drink: Margarita -- the drink was strong so that was a plus. It did take a minute to get it but not long enough for me to leave. Happy Hour is 3-6pm everyday, which is a plus since most places are only Mon-Fri. However, be mindful Happy Hour specials are served in the bar area only. Overall, I'm ever in the Arlington area again, I'll be sure to stop by & give them another try.

Yelp
Me: veggie spring rolls He: Artichoke salad + coconut shrimp ***** Met up with a friend for a quick bite. I had already eaten, so I didn't have much of an appetite... but of course I just had to order something. So glad I did. The spring rolls were a good size, piping hot, crispy and filled to the brim with fresh veggies (carrots and some other stuff...I don't remember, I was too busy inhaling it to keep track). My shellfish allergy didn't allow me to try anything on his plates, but he scarfed it down and went on and on (and on!) about how good everything tasted. Will definitely be back with an empty stomach!

Domina M.

Yelp
This is a ghetto a** carry out that belongs in the hood. The only difference between the two is that the one in the hood probably tastes way better. How on Gods green earth are you considered a Thai restaurant and can't even make fried rice.. fried rice I said.. taste palatable.. disgraceful to your culture. The place stunk when I first walked in... that's the first sign of knowing that you should leave. Always listen to your instincts and trust yourself. I'm praying to God that I don't have food poisoning.. save yourself from the disrespect this place provides by simply not going..

Yelp
Have had solid takeout and dine-in experiences at Neramitra! I dined in for the first time today on Saturday for lunch and was seated right away. The waitress was super attentive and the food came SO quickly. The restaurant environment also felt nice and super clean. The menu was very standard for a Thai restaurant and I ordered my typical order--drunken noodles with tofu and a Thai tea. I feel like drunken noodles tends to be very similar between most Thai places, but I always pay attention to how the tofu is prepared. I think this restaurant prepares the tofu better than most places I've tried--super tender, good texture, and flavorful! Also, Thai tea was very sweet but that's how I like it. Overall, this will be a go to spot for a quick, enjoyable meal!

Yelp
Friendly Thai restaurant directly across from Lockheed Martin's Crystal City office. The servers are efficient and friendly. The Thai food is standard and average as far as Thai goes. Filling and flavorful, though not entirely memorable. If I worked or lived near Crystal City, I would likely stop by once in awhile for A Thai fix. And please keep feeding the Lockheed workers so they can think of a way to build a fighter jet without huge cost overruns!

Yelp
I am here at 3 o'clock on a Sunday afternoon. It is a very sleepy Sunday afternoon here there are only two other tables in the restaurant with me. Ordered the pad soon sen with the seafood option. You can choose from chicken, pork, beef, seafood or vegetable. It has cellophane noodles. Not at all spicy so for those of you who love spicy food this made me not be the dish of choice for you. Although you can add sauces for an extra charge, so you could get some curry sauce for it to spice it up. It had celery, green onions, red peppers, mushrooms and probably some other vegetables. The seafood option, which I ordered, had scallops, shrimp, mussels and calamari. it was very tasty. I did have to ask for refills on my Diet Coke But they were happy to bring it. My total bill came to $22. For the quantity of food I would say that was an excellent price.

Yelp
Visited recently during a quick trip to DC. We came in for a weekday dinner and were seated and served quickly. The restaurant itself is clean and quiet. The food was pretty good - I had the sweet and sour with tofu as well as the spring rolls.
google avatar

Yelp
Stunningly good Thai. I'm picky about Thai food - having been in Thailand a number of times, it's hard to beat the real deal. This place has it - everything is absolutely excellent in every possible way. The Pad Kapow - a dish that's kinda surprisingly easy to mess up - is absolutely perfect. The satay - also an "easy" dish other restaurants mess up - was equally delicious. There are a lot of good Thai restaurants in the area, but this place definitely stands at the top.

Yelp
Solid Thai cuisine, but I don't think I will be going back because of the service. Service: Disappointing. I was there with a friend on a Tuesday evening at 6pm in July. The restaurant was about half full, and there were about two waitstaff taking care of the tables. We were seated, but waited about 20 minutes for the waiter to bring waters to our table. Waters refilled infrequently. We then waited another 40 minutes for the food to come out. The waiter was friendly and apologized for the wait, saying that so many groups had walked in all at once--I don't understand the justification, considering it's peak tourism season and this is one of the busiest streets of Crystal City. He seemed helpless as to how to alleviate the long wait times. Food: Authentic and tasty. I got the Sweet and Sour with pork as my meat of choice. The sauce was light and sweet, complementing the pineapples and the pork. The dish came with a bowl of rice, and overall it was just the right amount of food. The Thai Iced Tea was also delicious. Overall, for such quality food I am disappointed that the experience was sub-par. I still would recommend the food but only for take-out or delivery, unless you want to wait an hour for your food to arrive.

Yelp
Came here for a late dinner during the holiday season. Had an all around fantastic experience. We ordered spicy pad see-eaw, yellow curry, and Thai iced teas. Everything was extremely flavorful and spicy to request. As far as the restaurant itself, it was nicely decorated and had a good ambiance. It wasn't super busy, and we were seated right away. The service was great, everyone working was very friendly, and our food came quickly. I would definitely recommend this restaurant if you enjoy Thai food and are looking for somewhere a little bit more low key and to avoid big crowds.

D R.

Yelp
My daughter and I had chicken phad thai on 4/21/2023 at 12:40 PM. The food was good, but not great. I was coming from the west coast where we are spoiled with great thai restaurants. The bill came to $33.00 and I tipped $6.00, penny's shy of 20%. When I got my credit card bill a month later, I see the server had upped the tip to $10.00. $4 in the grand scheme of things isn't that much, but if a server is doing that to everyone, it is a big deal. The receipt was clear that I tipped $6 and even wrote in $39.00 for the total. So no chance it was a mistake. I did decide to call them and the gal who answered apologized and offered to refund the money. I chose not to.

Yelp
We stopped by here just a few minutes before they opened officially without realizing it because the door was open but they were kind enough to seat us and serve us early anyway. (Great customer service for not turning us away) we were starving and this place met our need and expectations completely. This was my first time having thai food, and I was pleasantly surprised to discover how good it was. We had spring vegetable rolls as an appetizer and they didnt last very long on the table. We were hungry and they were so good it felt like a tease lol For my entree, I chose Pad Cashew. This was stir fried cashew nuts, water crescent, carrots and scalions in a light brown sauce. Very reasonable price wirth every penny. I highly recommend this place to vegans and non vegans. They were very accommodating and willing to veganize alot on their menu.

Yelp
Of all the Thai places in Crystal City I think this is the best one! Their pad thai is one of my favorites. They give a generous helping, very saucy and full of flavor. We also ordered the Thai fried rice, with medium spice level, definitely had a bit of a kick! It was like a curry spice. The spring rolls were pretty good as well - very fresh and crispy. I've also ordered the papaya salad before which is very refreshing and spicy!

Yelp
Good thai food with touch of western style. Food was fresh with excellent service. We got our food within 5 minutes.

Yelp
food was tasty. the customer services were very good as well. We were heading to DCA and my son was asking for Thai food at 4pm and this restaurant was one the way. we were worried about parking but the street parking was actually not bad. food served really quick, the waiter and waitress came to check on the food and if we needed anything multiple times. overall a very pleasant experience

Yelp
I was originally going to give this place 2 stars since they screwed up my order the past 2 times, but my girlfriend talked me into 3 stars. During the covid-19 pandemic, we have ordered takeout from here several times. They can't seem to get the level of spiciness right. I ordered drunken noodles with chicken medium spiciness and my girlfriend had drunken noodles with beef mild spiciness. They made the chicken dish mild and the beef noodle dish extra spicy. The following visit, we both got mild spiciness level for drunken noodles. Our mouths were on fire from both noodles dishes. The dumplings as an appetizer are pretty good, so I'll give them credit for that. I would consider going back here when it opens regularly and I could get served, but would never get takeout from here again. If the order gets botched when sitting there, at least you could easily return it. Hopefully things get back to normal in the not too distant future.

The service here is so friendly and it's great to sit out on the patio! Overall had a reaally great lunch here and had plenty of yummy food. The curry was my favorite!
