I stayed at Nerva Boutique Hotel with my 15 year old son, for 2 nights only (regretfully!) at the beginning of December.
The hotel is absolutely stunning — tucked right behind the ancient Temple of Mars Ultor (built in 2 BCE). Our room was looking out onto a doorway that’s all that remains of the Church of Santa Maria Annunziata ai Monti, once built on ancient ruins and now gone.
We were literally within arm’s reach of the Forum of Augustus, the Forum of Trajan, and the Markets of Trajan. Unreal location! 🏛️✨
The hotel itself is romantic, immaculately clean, and beautifully decorated! Our room was cozy, with crisp bedsheets and comfortable pillows. We had a Small Double Room booked and it was a bit too small for our needs (travelling from Canada with one large and one medium luggage). Same with the bathroom - perfect for one person. Hotel however is very honest on their website that this particular room category is best for single occupancy. Something to take into consideration for future bookings.
Hotel’s staff (Charlotte, Nicole, Pouya and Roberto) were beyond welcoming, friendly and attentive! Staff goes out of their way to make your stay as enjoyable as possible!
Breakfast (à la carte) at Aurora Bistro located at the premises, was ample, fresh and delicious, with gorgeous presentation.
Complimentary mini-bar, water bottle and a tote bag were great additions to our stay!
My son (typical teenager, who doesn’t get impressed easily) loved the hotel and its location and wished we stayed in Rome longer (we were heading to Florence for 7 days). I am truly looking forward to staying at the Nerva Boutique Hotel again, hopefully in the near future. Can’t thank you enough for your hospitality!
