After spending two weeks in Buenos Aires and eating at a wide range of Michelin starred, Bib Gourmand, Michelin listed, and Latin America’s 50 Best restaurants, this was hands down my favorite meal of the entire trip.
From the moment you walk in, everything feels intentional. The aesthetic is modern, simple, and deeply considered. The kitchen blends seamlessly into the dining room and tableware, creating a sense of closeness to the cooking that immediately sets the tone.
The food is exceptional. The vegetable dishes alone are among the best I have had anywhere in the world. They are expertly prepared, precise, and full of depth. Everything feels both simple and deeply interesting at the same time. The cooking is flawless and thoughtful, creative without being strange for the sake of it, innovative while still rooted in recognizable and classic ideas. There is no fluff, no pretense, no unnecessary complexity, just incredibly good food executed at a very high level.
The wine list is fun and well curated, and the staff were warm, knowledgeable, and genuinely helpful. They guided us to a bottle that was exactly what we were looking for, without any pressure.
One detail that truly blew me away is that the restaurant has no gas. Everything is cooked over a wood fired stove. That constraint clearly sharpens the cooking and adds another layer of intention and character to the food.
The overall vibe is relaxed, modern, and confident. It feels contemporary and innovative while remaining grounded and welcoming. Never stuffy, never trying too hard.
This meal completely floored me. If you are in Buenos Aires, do not miss this restaurant. You would be lucky to eat here. It is a must visit.
