Nest Burger

Nest Burger offers the only burgers you should care about in Plano. I wish I lived there JUST so that I could get Nest ALL the time! Food is delicious, the Nest Sauce is heavenly, and the service is GREAT! Zach really knows how to run the place with pride and efficiency. Love to see it! The Boss Bacon (along with the onion rings!) is an absolute must-try for anyone who happens to be in the area.

One of the best burgers I’ve ever had. Love this place. Family friendly. Vegetarian and halal options. My order- jalapeño bacon cheeseburger and their seasoned fries. So good and worth coming here. Reasonable prices and worth supporting a local business.

Wow, that was a great burger! I ordered a boss bacon burger with grilled onions and sweet potato fries and it was delicious. Perfect doneness on the patty, cheese was nice and melted, bun was soft but toasted, bacon crispy, sauce delicious. Checks all the boxes. The sweet potato fries were really good as well. Others around me got normal fries and those look really good too. Service was great. They even checked on me halfway through, using my name from when I ordered. I know that sounds simple, but it's a nice touch.

LOVE LOVE LOVE This place. I was looking for a good, homemade burger spot on TikTok and saw only 2 posts about this place!! There should be way more! I haven't had a burger this good in a long time. I ordered the Boss Bacon Burger combo with regular fries. It was amazing 🤩 I don't know what oil they use or how they cook those fries,but omg the fries were the perfect crisp 🤌🏾 and fresh! Don't be hesitant stop by and try this place! Great Customer service, fresh ingredients, Great taste!

I noticed Nest Burger when I was at the gas station next door a few days earlier and so I looked up the reviews and they were pretty positive. When you type in Nest Burger on Google Maps it is described as “simple joint fro chicken sandwiches” and it may very well be but I was there for the burger and it did not disappoint!! This was a huge beef patty served with all the usual burger fixins with a side of thick cut seasoned and very crisp fries, serves piping hot. I could not have had a better burger dining experience. The meat had great flavor and was complimented by a bun that did not fall apart under the load! The ketchup they use is a specialty brand that seemed a little sweet compared to the top name brands but that may have been the only thing that did not stand out. Without a doubt the best burger I have had in the two years we have been in Dallas and ditto that for the fries! I had a nice cold Dr Pepper to go along with the meal…all for a reasonable price! If you are hungry and near east Plano - I highly suggest giving Nest Burger a try!!

Great Burger, was juicy big and flavorful. The fries were crispy on the outside and somehow remained moist on the inside at the same time. Zach was great and seemed very friendly not to.mention knows how to season his food!! I will be back 😉

My son said, "this is the best burger I've ever had in my life!" The place is clean and the staff is super friendly. We were in the area for judo camp and ended up eating there 3 days in a row.

Searching on Labor Day for a "new" burger place to try. Stumbled on Nest Burger from a review 2 weeks ago, and man were we ever glad we did! The service was excellent... you order in the front, then they bring it to your table. My wife ordered the the Shroom Head and said, "This is one of the best burgers I've ever had." I had the Boss Bacon Burger and agree with her 100%. The Tater Tots and Sweet Fries were yummy, too! The restaurant was full of customers when we pulled in (Always a good sign)... a young family with their baby, an older couple with their teen daughter, others. All chatting cheerfully, obviously enjoying their meals and the relaxed vibe. Each patron made a point of stopping at the register to say some version of, "This was our first time here. Everything was great, and we'll definitely be back." WE TOTALLY AGREE!!!

My husband wanted to try a new burger place, and that's where this story begins. We were in different cars, so he gave me the address. I arrived first, and I was skeptical. It was in an older area of Plano - and a strip shopping center. My husband soon arrived and we went in. The walls have interesting (in a great way) wall decor, but overall it is a modest place. We went to the counter to order, and as soon as our order was taken, I watched fresh hamburger being smashed on the grill. And it didn't take long for our hamburgers to arrive at our table, and they looked good. Yes, they were better than good! We both agreed we were eating the best hamburgers we have had in years. It was seasoned well, cooked perfect, and each bite made you crave more.

Damn good burgers! Yelp helped me find this place when I searched good burgers in the area. Browsing photos, I said to myself, "these burgers look good." So I came to try them for myself! The place is unassuming. Very simple. A counter, 7 tables inside and a few out front. Not fancy at all. The burgers are as good as they look in the photos. Great quality ingredients and served made to order. I got the Cheesy Nest, and it was so juicy it was a 10 napkin burger! Being a order at the counter place, there is not a lot of service experience to judge, but the small interaction we had was good. Definitely a repeater! Review #2076

Nothing fancy about this place, but don't be fooled by that. This is a family business that serves some righteous grub. We're talking hand formed thick patties. We're talking nicely frenchies. We're talking the most pleasant staff - ever. We found ourselves in this area on a Friday and could easily have stopped at the nearest chain. But as a longtime Yelper, I knew what to do and the Nest Burger was the only place that wasn't familiar to me. Scanning the reviews, I quickly figured out where we were eating. The food didn't disappoint. And walking in 25 minutes before closing, the staff were nothing but helpful, friendly, and absolutely delightful to interact with. Keep these family businesses in demand! They don't have vegan options. While asking on phone he said yes and mentioned paneer as one of the options and I had to specify paneer is dairy and what vegan food is (no dairy, no animal products) and then he said then we don't have vegan options! I feel so bad restaurant people don't know what vegan is?! I'm very surprised! I thought they were taught all these while getting food licenses! They think it's same as vegetarian! ‍

Had this place pop up when searching for a burger spot, let's just say I'm mad this never popped up before! Literally one of the best burgers I think I've ever had. I got the Boss Bacon and everything on the burger was super fresh and very tasty! Also decided to go with the loaded fries and the fries were super fresh! On top of the great food the staff here was very friendly and checked on us midway through our meal. Current owners have been here for a number of years and I wish I had discovered this place sooner! Will definitely be coming back to try more of the menu!

Overall the burgers weren't bad and they were flavorful but they were not warm!! Not sure why they were cold because I saw them cook all the food freshly after the order. Also the lower bun was very soggy which made it less appetizing. Very unfortunate since their flavors were pretty good. The chicken wings were also a bit of surprise. We ordered Nashville chicken wings thinking it would be dry rub. Again, flavor was good but wished the wings were warmer as well. Not sure I would go back since there are many other good burger options in the area.

This is the second time I've been to Nest. The first time I got the shroom burger to go and it was so delicious I devoured it. I didn't even take a picture This time I was like ok let me sit down and eat it here. So I took a pic... and then devoured it. The burger is a real burger. The parties are obviously hand formed and really fill your hand. This have a lovely thickness and juiciness to them. It's scrumptious. The burgers are craveable. I don't really live close to here-- about an hour away. The first time I went because it was close to where I was going. This time I drove 20 minutes out of the way!!! super delicious. If you love good burgers def put this place on your list to try.

Friendly customer service. Ordered via phone, ready in 15 min. Signature fries generously given were decent. The burger was thick very meaty lacking veggies (one skinny tomato with thin welded layer of lettuce) cheese was thin as well, if you can see the meat through it not worth it. More bun and meat thank anything. Proportion is off.. Requested extra pickles got 2, had to ask for more. Too filling for me personally. Desert Cake with no fork was ok yet very small with a few nuts on top for 5:50 it was clearly gotten from a cheap box that most likely costed that much at Aldi and not bakery style. Photos attached. I personally don't recommend the food since it's all burgers and I'm not satisfied. 2 stars for the professional service, and made ready to go.

Just tried their new smash burger! It was so juicy and flavorful! Easily one of the best burgers I've had!

Might not be the best burger I've ever had, but if it isn't it's a close 2nd. Locally owned and operated, hole in the wall place that has scratch kitchen and makes all their own sauces. I have never before been so shocked over the exceptional customer service and the quality of the food. Cannot say enough about this restaurant. Easily the best burger I've had since moving to Dallas 10 years ago. Will be coming here again and again and again. Most highly recommend!

I'm going to get right to the point. It's a few bucks cheaper than other options but the taste and quality just isn't good. I got sweet potato fries and a cheesy nest burger. The fries only tasted like grease and my burger had a "hard piece" in every single bite, which I'm assuming are bone chips or cartilage pieces. The meat quality was just horrible and not flavorful or juicy at all. I couldn't enjoy my meal and I wish I would have just spent the extra money to get a Rodeo Goat meal instead.

Amazing burger joint! Interesting mix of spices. Thick meat patty. Nest sauce was really good especially with their French fries. Fries were some of the best I've had. Definitely want to try the grilled chicken sandwich. Lots of vegetarian options. Halal! Guy working the front was a little hesitant about letting us get the Yelp offer of free fries with a burger purchase but they wound up allowing it.

Always fresh, juicy burgers with amazing flavor. Love the taste every time! Definitely a go-to spot and absolutely worth reordering.

Overall, this is a great burger place. I ordered the jalapeño bacon burger, and it had a generous portion of meat and a good overall size. I added the Nest and Burnt sauce to my burger, which made it very flavorful. The fries were crispy and tasty. We used the Yelp check-in for free fries, and though there were some complications with the receipt, they were resolved quickly. I opted for takeout, so I didn't get the full dine-in experience, but the place was decently clean, and my order was ready in a reasonable time.

The new location has the most cheerful staff, the cashier was so eager to share recommendations. I had the Nest Burger with no cheese and fries. The burger is made to order, the patty is smashed and on the salty side. It was ok, nothing really stood out. The fries are crisp with a sweet and salty seasoning which for me threw off the taste of the fries. The great customer service and made to order hot food are excellent. Not sold on the burger.

Had seen this place when staying at a hotel nearby and decided to order a meal while on the way back through Dallas. Was one of the best burgers I have had and I am a burger fanatic. Ended up ordering it online and got caught up so the burger not being piping hot was my fault. The fries were seasoned nicely andy had a strong full flavor and had no bland spots. The Onion ring was nice and crispy and there was plenty of BBQ sauce. The sauce was a tad on the sweet side for me but that is just a personal preference and not a ding on the burger. The meat was nice and juicy and the bun was super soft and fluffy. I will defiantly be going back anytime I am driving through the area and would recommend this place to anyone that lovers burgers.

.... SURPRISINGLY AWESOME - GO!!! ...... NEW Ownership since Dec 2022 - much better now!! Secret seasoning and secret sauce added to patty at cook makes all the difference! Will cook meat to order (rare to well done). Excellent char (I ask for that) and moist - not greasy! Bacon is generous and crispy, like it should be. Toppings are fresh and tasty. Able to do very crispy 'seasoned fries' and offer sweet potato fries too. Fries were perfectly cooked and crunchy like I like them. (Onion rings are beer batter - not my thing). Try the "Nest Sauce" instead of ketchup, mayo, or mustard. Compliments the seasoning of the meat nicely and is good. My sample taste had a sweet/smoky BBQ profile with other things in it - but it calmed down on the burger and is a perfect accent to the burger (couldn't even pick out the BBQ flavor). Delicious!! I also tried the BBQ wings. Excellent. Nice traditional Texas BBQ sauce flavor - light smoke, mildly sweet and definitely tangy! Wings are breaded and fried crispy making a great overall impression. Of all the 1st time reviews of burger places in the last year, this is easily the best!! Definitely worth the drive. Any burger should be a winner! GO!!!! This is by far the best burger I've ever had. The staff were kind and patient, and the inside of the store is cozy and welcoming. I will definitely be coming back again many times.

We loved Nest Burger. The food was great and burgers were perfectly cooked. We were a big group and ordered almost every item on the menu. All were delicious. If you want a great tasting halal burger and great service, visit Nest Burger.

The perfect strip mall burger joint. Plenty of seating. Burger and fried cooked fresh after you order. Seasoned crispy fries are excellent. Burger was big and tasty. Tucked away but worth finding for sure. It's my new lunch spot when I'm over in this part of town.

Food was tasty! Service was quick as we were the only ones there. Ambiance feels different in person than what it looks like in person. It was interesting how the drinks were priced differently if you want it in a can or from the fountain dispenser. One thing to note is that it does get really messy from eating since food is very oily but I can tell it was made fresh!

It's just okay. Typical burger that's somewhat expensive. Dining area is small, uninviting. Just okay.

Burgers are so amazing! Really cool options for vegetarians! I love both the paneer burger and the aloo tiki burger. The sauce is amazing and the seasoning of the paneer and aloo tiki are amazing. They have the best fries I have ever had! Service is pretty good! They get the food ready in 10-15 minutes, can call ahead and order as well. However, this isn't a cure sit down restaurant. The interior is not cute but for the taste can be overlooked. Many people just togo from here

I had the Cali burger. It was excellent. Came with lettuce, tomato, avocado and grilled onions. I had the pepper Jack cheese. Fries were fresh and crisp. Looks sketchy on the outside but the inside is pleasantly decorated. Only negative was the drink machine does not have Diet Coke so had to take a cam which meant no refills. Food was excellent!

My new favorite burger joint! I happen to be working nearby and upon rec from Yelp, decided to give it a try. SO glad I did, this place is da bomb. Of course I got a Nest burger with the sauce on the side. It's a mixture of mayo and hot sauce but actually more sweet than hot. The patty was 1/2 pound perfectly cooked. I opted for the tots instead of fries. The tots are seasoned and you get a healthy helping! There are vegan options which is a HUGE bonus. We tried the Chipotle Black Bean burger, man it was hearty and very flavorful. To go with, we got an order the fried mushrooms. Omg, they come out very HOT and well seasoned. Last we ordered from the kids menu, cheeseburger with fries. It was a large portion for kids meal, we had to take 1/2 of it home.

I had the paneer burger. It was wonderful - seasoned fries came with it. It was great, and the portion size was excellent. The gentlemen working when my wife and I visited were very informative and explained the menu very well. (This was our first visit). We visited during non-prime hours and the restaurant was not busy at all. We received very personal service. Our food was great we will be back.

I did a grub hub order. My food was cooked and delivered within 20 mins which was great. What was not so great, my burger arrived in the color of midnight. Why o why did any human send out this burger as burnt as it was. I don't even remember the color it should have been because it was so dark. It reminded me of those activated charcoal buns. Mind you, I have not eaten ALLLLLLL day. 7:11 pm tonight when it came I wanted to cry. Like im knocking down deaths door due to hunger and was sent a burnt burger. As I gathered my tears and sent them up to Jesus, I looked for something else to eat and remembered I got a combo with onion rings and lemonade. I started eating those onion rings and my sadness turned into JOY! They SEASONED the crap out of them onion rings. And I'm not talking about salty but whatever was on them, they were SOOOO good and the Nest sauce was even better. I ate my 9 onion rings and called it a day. Grub hub did give me my money back as they should have. Please CHECK THE ORDERS GOING OUT TO CUSTOMERS. No paying human should be given inedible food.

Middle of the pack when it comes to gourmet burgers. Some pretty creative variations on the menu. Would try again, but I can't say it's a regular rotation spot for me.

The best burger I've had in a long time. The patties are thick and dripping with juice. The best thing about these burgers is that they taste clean; not greasy or oily. I had the Shroom Head burger and my partner had the Cheesy Nest and both were delicious. If you get the combo, you get your choice of canned/bottled beverage. The staff were pleasant and brought out the burgers quickly, while they were steaming hot. The fries were super crispy, too. The thinner fries were basically thick potato chips. I don't know how they get the fries so crispy, but they are so crunchy and seasoned well. The only con is the place feels like a hole-in-the-wall dive, but not necessarily in the best way. I'm sure everything is clean, but it just feels a little dingy. That could be just me being picky, but it doesn't affect my rating for this place in the least.

This place is really good for their burgers! It's halal and "The Garlic One" burger really lives up to its name! The biggest ugly from here, though, was the red velvet cake. I don't know how long this thing has been sitting around and I certainly am glad I didn't eat it right away because I would have lost my appetite at the sight of it! When I opened up the box, I found a red velvet cake with what looks like fungus caking the bottom of it! It was melted, milky, bubbly, and there were little grey and black bits stuck to the soggy bottom of it. I don't know if I could come back to Nest Burger after seeing that atrocity.. I'm uploading a picture so avert your eyes if you get easily squeamish!

Update on online ordering... first - it's amazing that whoever is in charge of online media won't or cannot communicate to respond to customers concerns. I went to the website and now when checking out to pay for your order you can select or adjust your tip amount. It's better to get an order than to push people away. Looks like now all that needs to happen is getting the orders right.

The burgers here are perfect for that struggling college student in your life . I would rate this place 8 s/10. The restaurant itself is a bit sus, but the food is delicious. Yet another great halal burger spot! ------------ I ordered a Baconator and it was so juicy and delicious, 9/10. The buns were buttered and crispy, and the cheese was nicely melted on the patty. Overall it was a wonderfully greasy experience. The only gripe I have is that the patties are kind of broken and not whole in the burger. The fries were a mid 6/10. There was too much crusty seasoning and they had a weird sweet taste to them. Price: $13 for a burger and fries

My wife and I visited 2 weeks ago. The service was personalized and genuine. My wife's steak sandwich was tender and flavorful. My garlic burger was the same. Great sweet tea, by the way! The atmosphere reminded me of a good, down to earth neighborhood grill.

Had a shroom burger and 5 wing classic hot with a drink & fries. $21 and change. Dined in. My first time here. Place looks like it's been here a while. Counter person was nice. Counter person brought food to table and was very hot , I love to eat hot when it's just off the grill. Food came to table within 10 minutes of ordering. The burger was juicy and tasty. Wings were hot as well and very good. The seasoned fries were good and had a crunch. Overall a good first time experience. Place was quiet... we were the only ones dining at 6pm on a Tuesday. No music. No TV. Will I be back? definitely!

Excellent spot for burgers! Got The Boorger with tots, Boss Bacon with fries, and a Red Velvet Shake. The Boorger (beef patty served on a bed of savory escabeche topped with cheddar cheese and a drizzle of ghost pepper and honey aioli) is a monthly special, so it'll be gone in a few days. The patty was cooked perfectly and the ghost pepper gave it a nice kick without being overpowering. The Boss Bacon was also pretty great. Both burgers were packed with flavor and some of the best I've had in a while. All the ingredients tasted so fresh. I've tried two other burgers when I was here another time and they were incredible too. It was the Mediterranean and Shroom Head. The tots and fries were so crispy and well seasoned & the red velvet shake was to die for! Great spot with friendly staff and excellent customer service. Pictures don't do it justice - definitely make sure to stop by if you're in the area.

We were hungry for burgers last time my Grandson was over during dinner time. So, of course, we Yelped burger joints in our area and Nest Burger popped up with great reviews. So, Nest Burger it was. What a surprise! When we drove up it's a little hole in the wall, in a strip center. We didn't have high hopes, we think generic fast food, when we see a strip mall restaurant. But, we were pleasantly surprised when everything we ordered was amazing. We ordered a little bit of everything, so we could try a lot of different foods. My Son ordered the baconator , I had ultimate cheese w crispy fries, Grandson had a plain kid's cheeseburger w fries and Spouse had an ultimate cheese, loaded tater tots and an order of their fried mushrooms. Their burgers are made with their Nest Sauce, to die for, it is SO tasty. Their burgers are juicy and delicious. The baconator was a hit with my Son, the Ultimate cheeseburgers were just that, Ultimate and fried mushrooms were SO good The tater tots were not loaded as expected, just mostly covered in velveeta cheese sauce and a hot spice, not too tasty... Looking for a good, sloppy, and delicious burger, check out Nest Burger, you wont be disappointed!!
