Hotel & Restaurant Nest- und Bietschhorn

Great location for starting hikes, with a PostBus stop right in front of the hotel. The staff was incredibly friendly, and both breakfast and dinner at the hotel restaurant were excellent. The entire hotel, from the reception to the room, had a wonderful fragrance, making the stay even more pleasant. The hotel also has a fascinating history, with a book about it in the room for history enthusiasts.

it's over, destroyed by the landslide. i rate this as one of the worst affected areas you shouldn't visit. WORST DAY, NATURAL DISASTER IS A BIGGER THREAT TO HUMAN REALITY.

Stayed one night at the nest hotel, and I have to say I have been very impressed. The room is decorated simply yet very nicely, shower and bathroom were massive. They did a very good job at renovating it all while preserving the charm of the building. The restaurant room is nothing special although you can feel the family spirit and effort that is put in many tiny details. The food is exceptional, absolutely delicious. Wine list is extensive and full of local wines. I will come back !

So sad to hear about hotel, hope in the future you build a better one and reopen.

Lovely hotel in a wonderful setting. Staying half board is a great deal. |The 4 course dinner is excellent and varied. Staff helpful and friendly. Bedrooms very comfortable. A perfect base for the wonderful walks in Lotschental.

Lovely stay at the end of January. It’s a beautiful quiet location. Service was so friendly and welcoming. We stayed in a beautiful room which looked like it had been recently refurbished. The bed was so comfortable we didn’t want to get out of it. We ate in the attached restaurant where we thought the food was exceptional. Breakfast was also extensive and very tasty. All in all, a great visit and we had a very enjoyable day skiing around Wiler the following day.

Discovered this jewel through our friends. Stayed overnight and right from our arrival we enjoyed Esther, Laurent and their staff's hospitality and sense of making us feel at home. The room, the food and selection of wine made our stay memorable. Would recommend to all, visit them once and sure you would go back again, we will !!! Thank you for everything and see you soon.

We loved our stay in this wonderful hotel in the picture perfect location! ||From the first welcome the hospitality of the owners and the staff was outstanding. ||Our room was spacious, spotless clean and we loved the modern rustic style. The bathroom had a fabulous rainshower. ||We had booked the halfboard, incredible value and amazing food. ||The breakfast was delicious as well.
