I had such a pleasant shopping experience at Nesters Market in Whistler Village. 🛒 I picked up everyday essentials like sweet onions, organic sliced mushrooms, whole wheat tortillas, English muffins, and 12-grain bagels. Everything looked fresh, well-organized, and many of the products were proudly made in Canada — which gave me extra confidence while choosing what to buy. 🥜 The peanut butter section was surprisingly diverse! There were so many options, from simple, clean-ingredient choices to well-known local brands. It was fun comparing the selections and finding what suited my taste and budget. 💳 The cashier was especially kind and took the time to explain the membership benefits and how I could save points for future visits. That little extra care really made a difference and left a positive impression. 🌼 The outdoor area with stone benches and colorful flowers added to the charm of the market. It’s a lovely spot to sit and relax after shopping. 🌲 Nesters Market feels like more than just a grocery store — it’s part of the community. Clean, welcoming, and full of quality products. I’ll definitely be coming back again! 📝 휘슬러에서 살면서 자주 가게 될, 정감 있고 따뜻한 마트예요.

The manager Bruce was extremely kind and accommodating via the phone and text. We were only stopping by Whistler for two nights and we really couldn’t finish all the 8-10 inches/ ice cream cake that the other bakeries in town were offering. Thank you for making the cake happen for my partners 31st birthday lol 😝 The cookies were also so incredibly delicious. The bakery is a must visit for this grocery store! Thank you to the incredible people behind it too :)

Google
December 2024 A surprise and delightful local grocery store. We were concerned with many tourist pricing super markets in this area and we were so please to find this place. 1. The parking is free and easy. P 2. Many great selection options with different ethic group food options. 3. Fairly and reasonable pricing for dally needs. Most likely this is where the local shop Highly recommend this area and we were very happy to get our products here.

We've used Nesters in Whistler with online groceries for a few years now. Initially we used them for our grocery delivery prior to us arriving in town. This was amazing with the groceries packed away nicely in the fridge, freezer or cupboard - SO AMAZING when you are coming into town after a long haul trip, are tired and have a hungry family. For the last 6 months we've used the grocery delivery for our weekly shop which has also been AMAZING. Gerry and the team looked after us so well - always finding us the best bargains and looking out for us. The service is super reliable and friendly. Fresh fruit and veg and meat has always been great - so convenient, especially without a car in town. I'd highly recommend Nesters Market Whislter!!

Google
The markup on food is discussing and Disrespectful to the community in Whistler village and most of BC, BUT when I saw the price of chicken at Nesters I felt like my parents did when they were young and though for a second I might actually save a dollar for the first time in years. Who knows, maybe we won’t have to pay $100 per grocery bag one day. Just maybe our life might be normal and we won’t have to live paycheck to paycheck one day but when I saw that price I had a tear of joy in my eyes 🙏🥲 I’d give them a 5/5 as the mark up on other foods still tough to swallow but it’s incredibly appreciated and doesn’t go unnoticed when a grocery store helps the community like this❤️

Great place to go shopping if you live nearby or are renting a cabin with a kitchenette. They have every possible thing you could imagine, including fresh fruit and vegetables. The pharmacy is well-stocked with lots of homeopathy items. The freezer section has many good choices and there is a good juice section. Don't forget to bring your own bags.

Google
This is a pretty good store, they have a good amount of items to choose from and a pretty wide range of brands as well. The staff here are usually quite friendly as well! I really like going here and definitely will be back!

Google
Great selection of products at better prices than the stores in the village. They even have Peaked Pies. We stopped here to pick up some food for a lakeside picnic. The store accepts More rewards cards

Yelp
A fairly full featured grocery store in Whistler not too far from the main village (about a mile and half) but you'll need a car. There is decent parking, though a road sort of runs through the middle of the small parking lot so it can be a little stressful to get out at peak times. Their selection of fruits/veggies/packaged goods was good and they even had a wide variety of tofu with various textures. I was a little annoyed that all their breads had added sugar, but it's a more of a medium-sized market not a giant Whole Foods so you may not get precisely what you're looking for... to be expected in a ski town.

Yelp
Injured myself skiing and cannot leave my condo even across street to get food. UberEat/DoorDash not reliable or non existent so have to find grocery delivery. Recommended to order from Nester Market. Their location is a bit far from my condo and fresh street farm is right across me so seldom go to Nester unless when driving. Ordered food online (they have lots of organic stuffs). Get called back in few min to get credit card info and promised same day delivery. Get another call around noon saying packing almost done and want to check if a couple substitutes are ok. Got a knock at door early afternoon and my delivery is here. Thank you Nester!

Yelp
Just got back from a trip to Whistler to celebrate my 50th birthday. I rented a condo and wanted to be able to cook. The rental agency recommended Nesters. Not only can you order on-line but they will deliver and put away the groceries too. (This was key as we didn't have a car and had a very long day of traveling). When you order, the manager Gerry calls you up to go over your order before placing it. I have to say the interactions with Gerry were the best part and one of the favorite parts out our trip. (There is a reason that when I mentioned his name to the rental company they said "Gerry is the best!"). Not only was Gerry super kind and fun to talk to, he made great suggestions on things to get and ideas for what we were missing. (Gotta make sure we had ketchup chips and the Maple Creme cookies were awesome!). They even did a second order for us when we ran out of cookies and milk! When we got to the condo not only were all of the groceries there waiting and put away they even had a birthday card for me. On top of that, Gerry left a special delicious treat for me to help me celebrate! The interactions with Nesters and Gerry were so great (and I talked about them so much) that my kids asked "Was that the food that Gerry got you?". He's now a legend in Cambridge, MA too. Nesters was tremendous, the service was awesome and if you are lucky enough to have an interaction with Gerry. you'll understand why everybody raves about him. It's like having an amplifier that goes to 11. Can't recommend Nesters enough.

Yelp
This used to be our favorite market in Whistler. Save on Foods let them be Nesters for years, selling good quality products you could not find anywhere else. Recently, Save On decided to turn Nesters into another one of their stores. Numerous good quality and unique products disappeared from the shelves and it's now like any other Save On store, unfortunately. Same cheap low quality olive oil, ice cream, and the list goes on. We are not going back there. Thanks Save On, for nothing...

Yelp
Walking distance to whistler village, some Airbnb townhouses, and the trails. Clean and well organized market. Helpful and extremely friendly staffs. Bus stop and parking lot outside. Don't have everything but they almost all the general and essentials. Quite convenient

Yelp
Nesters is the only grocery with oysters. They had a nice selection of yogurt and eggs with yellow yolks! It's nice medium size market with good quality vegetables. We found everything we needed here for our week long stay at Whistler.

Yelp
This supermarket is simple- holding all the basic and gourmet food supply one may need to survive. This was the closest supermarket to where we were staying- so we were there often. Getting our snacks or sometimes ingredients to cook breakfasts, lunches, and dinners. Their pharmacy section is helpful too, pretty huge actually! I consulted one of he counter pharmacists to assist me with the HUGE misquito bite issue I had when visiting Canada. The horrible DEET spray was ineffective and terrible for my wellbeing - so I asked what she suggested. Lucky for me, she had natural solutions! There was a spray she recommended that was made entirely of lemon, eucalyptus, and lavender oils. It smelled so much better than that DEET crap, and I was also able to use it on my face. She also told me about getting a Bcomplex vitamin, because it releases something that mosquitos don't like- whatever works! Surprisingly, it did work- I got fewer bites the next couple of days. Thanks for helping me out with that!

Yelp
This is most likely the biggest Nester's I've visited in Vancouver and Whistler. There are tons of local produce and organic food. It's more expensive than your local Safeway, but this place is a nutritionist's dream.

Yelp
Nicest grocery store in the area! The employees are all very nice and the assistant manager was super helpful when I asked him about things to do in the area. Best selection of everything!!!

Yelp
This is a perfectly good local market to get provisions when you are staying in the nearby cabins. They have a solid selection of frozen food, liquor/beer, and dry goods/snacks. The prices are reasonable considering they are the only game in town. I wish they had a better meat/fish section, but that is probably hard given their location in the woods. Staff is friendly and helpful. We were there for a bachelor party, and their selection of Gatorade was top-notch...until we bought it all.

Yelp
I would like to compliment the Whistler Nesters for their excellent customer service on June 26. A woman cashier patiently went to extreme lengths to assist me in setting up MyNR app for the store so I could get rewards. She was amazing! Another employee in the deli department put a loaf of bread in their slicer for me as I couldn't get it sliced elsewhere. Great job! Customer service is critical to customers like me to return to a store again and again. I will be back to Nesters in Whistler. Great job, everyone!

Yelp
Loved this market. Everything was fresh and they have a great assortment of fruits, breads, meats anything you might need. I especially enjoyed their freshly made and baked pies. The market is clean organized and their staff is excellent.

Yelp
I decided to take my 4 year old daughter up to whistler for the weekend (without my wife and other kids.) the moment I got to our condo she got sick! I had no groceries and with her so sick I wouldn't be able to get to the store. I called nesters and spoke to the manager Ian and told him of my situation. Without hesitation he asked me what I needed (Advil, ginger ale, etc) and he had it delivered to my door within 30 mins. Unbelievable customer service. I will be a customer for life. Thanks Ian! Yelp
Screw the IGA, Nester's is where its at. This is the local market and has much better prices. I was able to host an American Thanksgiving while I was living in Whistler for $12 a person. It would have cost a lot more if I went to the alternative local markets. There a great selection of health food store products. The produce selection is vast, the deli is huge and fresh (hey, I may be a veg but my friends aren't).

Yelp
Anytime when you can buy groceries and also walk over to the liquor store, that's worth the extra star. Good customer service, don't have to line up long. Really convenient if you're staying at any of the hotels or condo units in the 'track' here or Whistler Village.

Yelp
Was at Whistler for a long weekend. We were in a condo that had a kitchen so we planned on cooking most meals. I needed a couple of items to complete the meal. Found some reviews on this little gem so decided to check it out. After almost getting backed into in the parking lot I found a parking spot. Very busy little Plaza. The store had everything I was looking for. Lots of stuff packed into the little store. I bought some bakery rolls that were perfect, and some lasagna noodles. Checkout was slow, but everyone was nice, prices seemed fair for its location.

Yelp
Billed as where the locals shop. It was cheap a few years ago, but now the prices are on par with the other grocers in town. The selection is greater than the others and the goods are a bit higher end than available at the other local grocery stores. The aisles have some space and the staff is friendly. It's a bit difficult to get to without a car. I come here usually when I have a car or someone with a car is shopping. I don't think I would go out of my way to shop here.
google avatar

Sophia C.

Yelp
Mmm...I'm going to give IGA more credit than this joint. This place is legit and is a full on market...but the prices obviously reflected the prices tourists are always hit with when on vacation. Service is nothing spectacular here, but they smile.
google avatar

Rich T.

Yelp
Yes there is a Safeway in town but if drive just 10 minutes then there is a wonderful high end supermarket. The fish is great and the meat selection terrific. The veggies r wonderful. For instance we had corn that was absolutely sweet in march.

Yelp
Feels like home. Same fresh, great, abundant local produce. This is where the local shop a Van city and Whistlers as well. Their turkey sandwich with cranberries bread are delicious. They are local so I love to go there. Pharmacy and organic produce. Points cards available ''Nesters cards'' for food reward. After a while tough cuz you will need lots of points. Great customers service just like at Van city.

Yelp
The selection here is good if you get here early and probably not on a weekend. I find when it's busy on a week night or weekend that they have issues restocking the shelving with more fresh produce or boxed items. They have a great Bakery, deli and meat counters with friendly staff.
google avatar

Steve K.

Yelp
Up here for a week in Club Intrawest, and based on reviews went here first. It's a nice store, but narrow aisles and imho not as nice as IGA or as broad in selection. And further away, so I'll stick with IGA. Friendly staff and helpful is a plus, so I guess it comes down to personal preferences.

Yelp
Live oysters for a buck! Fresh pastries and breads, good selection of meat, seafood, and prepared foods.
google avatar

Bora K.

Yelp
We stopped by to get some food to prepare for breakfast before going out snowboarding and snacks to devour after our long days in the snow. You can get Cornichon flavored Lay's Potato Chips (My new all time favorite flavor EVER), Boylan's Black Cherry Soda, smoked Sockeye Salmon, and tons of very fresh looking produce. I also picked up a postcard and some stamps while I was there. Super convenient and very clean.
google avatar

Mimi L.

Yelp
This place is legit. We came here to buy some fish for dinner and left with fresh salmon. The guy working there took the time to guide us through the fish selection and gave us advice on how to prepare it. While I was looking down the aisles for gravy to make my California rendition of poutine I noticed that there was a good selection of health and speciality food. Wonderful little market with friendly people. Way way better than the main market in Whistler.
google avatar

L N.

Yelp
Overpriced! Go To IGA! Went here based on these reviews and was very disappointed. Extremely overpriced for the same selection as IGA.
google avatar

Christyn T.

Yelp
They have what you need but it's very highly priced and they're likely to ask you for a form of identification with every purchase. However, they have everything you need...
google avatar

Prista C.

Yelp
For my first non-restaurant review, I have to yelp Nesters Market as I love walking up and down its aisles staring at the speciality products and appreciating the dietary subtleties that distinguish Canadians from their southern neighbors. Nesters has a great meat/produce department, albeit a little small given the size the of market. How many places in the US can you find four different types of salmon looking oh so good? If you love red meat like I do, you would appreciate that the meat here looks, again, oh so good and so well-marbled. Seafood is a bit pricey (but hey, it's Whistler), for example, expect to pay $79.99/kg for Alaskan king crab. Overall, the produce here are generally fresh with the exception of the organic stuff which tend to look a little wilted. Nesters also has a very nice gourmet cheese selection and don't leave without getting a loaf of some great bread. Love this place!

Pete S.

Yelp
nesters is the best grocery store in whis. this place has better selection, better prices and a nicer atmosphere than the grocery store in village square or the iga in marketplace. you'll need a car to get there but it's definitely worth the extra time to grab your groceries.

Pablo G.

Yelp
Nesters is a nice medium sized supermarket that offers a variety of different things from organic groceries, to bakery, to homeopathic medicines. Almost everyone that goes here is local and they have a private parking lot that is free so there is plenty of parking available. Check them out, they are quite good compared to other big brand supermarkets in BC and have great staff that are always willing to help.

Jeff W.

Yelp
Laughably insultingly overpriced wine and liqueur store. They were charging more than DOUBLE the retail price for wine. They have a better selection than the BC wine store and basically think they can charge people restaurant wine prices. The market is the near the same thing.
