The Latest Celebrity to Open a Restaurant on the Las Vegas Strip Is — Netflix | Eater Vegas

"I noted that Netflix previously hosted a Netflix Bites pop-up inside a Los Angeles hotel for three months, headlining chefs who had appeared on shows like Chef’s Table: BBQ and Iron Chef: Quest for an Iron Legend — including Dominique Crenn, Ming Tsai, and Andrew Zimmern — who prepared dishes for the promotional restaurant. Now Netflix is bringing a one-year version to Las Vegas as a residency at the MGM Grand; a press release describes it as a “one-of-a-kind restaurant experience offering guests a savory journey” inspired by Netflix titles, though no menu or pricing details have been released. Construction begins this month on the former Avenue Cafe space, and the restaurant is slated to serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner when it opens in early 2025." - Janna Karel

I recently attended a pop-up dinner event at Netflix Bites with a table of 5 adults and 1 kid. To reserve a table for the event, there was a non-refundable $25 per person deposit. Here's my review of the restaurant: Decor: The pop-up restaurant was nicely decorated with both indoor and outdoor patio areas. Netflix did an amazing job decorating the place. Service: The service was impeccable and the staff were very attentive and friendly. However, it's worth noting that they do charge a default 20% tip to the bill. Food: Since we had a big table, we ordered almost everything on the menu, including every appetizer, 4 of 5 main dishes, one pizza, 6 cocktails, and 2 desserts. Overall, the appetizers were the best, while the main dishes were average at best. The cocktails, on the other hand, were amazing and worth every penny. They used top shelf alcohol and had creative combinations. The desserts were disappointing and bland. Overall, I enjoyed the experience and would recommend it to anyone who likes Netflix shows and cocktails. It was a fun night out with friends and family.

It was fun getting to try different dishes from famous chefs featured in various Netflix shows. The stand out dishes we tried were the hamachi, chicken wings, and the honey cake, as well as the everything but the alley cat drink, which came with a fried sweet plantain. The overall meal was on the more expensive side but felt more like an experience than just a meal. The staff were very friendly and knowledgeable about all the dishes and the chefs. We were also lucky to meet the amazing Jacques Torres who was present the night we went. He went to all tables to say hi and even brought out his Nailed It desserts to make with any kids that were in attendance. We got his box of chocolates to go and savored them the next day.

I was so excited to try Netflix bites, but the food simply did not match the price point we paid. Not only did we have to put a $50 deposit down to attend, but our bill was over $100 for two people and we didn’t even order that much. Everything on the menu sounded exciting and fun, but just didn’t have very much flavour or the texture was off. The pickle pizza was probably the worst pizza I’ve ever had I couldn’t even finish it. I enjoyed the theme of the restaurant, and the storytelling of the waitstaff around why each dish was important to the chef who created it, but the taste just did not live up to the presentation.

We went the second day that it opened and it was great. The food was all very tasty and the drinks were even better. The staff were super nice and knowledgeable about the menu. My friend and I went for Brunch, but would love to try the dinner menu. They do accept walk-ins but RSVPs are strongly encouraged to guarantee a seat. There’s no parking for the restaurant, but there is The Grove across the street with lots of parking. Overall, I had a great experience. They also paid attention to the details, I loved the decor. Give it a try!

It was a fun experience! The decor is colorful, fun and a little bit cartoonish but in a good way. The cocktails were fabulous, particularly the Oaxacan on Top of the World and Absinthe Sour. We also enjoyed the cocktail cart and the bartender working the cart sold us on a gin based drink (and neither of us like gin) but he was so passionate & enthusiastic, we wanted to get something. We ordered several food items on the menu. The surprising standouts were the crispy pork skins w/ pimento cheese and roasted cauliflower (SO good!). The short rib pizza, pulled pork and cod were all tasty but nothing I’d order again. The service was very good, everyone we encountered was pleasant. I don’t feel compelled to go again but I have no regrets about having gone once and experiencing this creative pop up. At a minimum, stop by for the drinks!

Some things were better than others. We ordered 8 different dishes including deserts. Only 3/8 dishes were up to the hype. The smoked chicken wings, meatloaf, and black cod were unique. The drinks sounded delicious but we're not as good as other spots in LA. Our server was very helpful and guided us through a good dining experience!

The vibes here are immaculate. However some of their menu items are questionable. We absolutely loved the service and the seating. we ordered the Lobster something (I forgot the name ) the description mentioned that the crème freche was smoked which seemed good, but then we tried it. And it tasted like legit liquid smoke. All of it. It was not good. Would absolutely not order this again. We tried the tomato pizza. That was busting. We finished the entire pie in a matter of minutes. The zoom fizz was good but could’ve been better. The best thing we ate was the millionaire shortbread Kind of regretted trying the brunch menu. If I ever come back I would make sure to go to dinner only so we could try something different.

I have eaten once and had the lamb chops (really good) and pizza which wasn’t as weird as it sounded. But discovered the bar team are passionate and knowledgeable about cocktails. I have been back most nights and now in a great little arrangement where we test each other on gin based cocktails.

Yelp
First time here. The place is cute with Netflix vibe. The service was good. The food and drink were on the pricey side but they are well portioned. Love that Money Heist character was walking around. Overall fun, the food and service was good.

Yelp
There was a lot of hype about trying all the dishes from the chefs that were on Iron Chef & Chef's table. So a bunch of friends and I decided to come give this place a try. We were a party of 9. We weren't able to make reservations online since we were such a large party. Had to email them but they took over a week and a half to respond. We thought we weren't going. But a week and half later, they finally responded and reservations were set for Sunday at 5:30pm. They don't have a free parking or a parking lot so it took us a while to find street parking. Otherwise it's $35 or you have to park at the Groove and walk over. For the small bites we ordered the fried chicken, the Aussie truffle shitaki mingbings and the hamachi sashimi. The fried chicken was well fried but nothing special. The shitaki mingbings were cripsy and flavorful. The hamachi sashimi was a little on the warm side. For pizza, we ordered the BBQ short ribs pizza. The pizza had a crispy crust (not soggy) and the short ribs were tender and flavorful. For Big Bites, we ordered the whole Dungeness curry crab with came with a side of naan. The flavor was good but definitely not worth the price for the portion. For drinks we got the Everything but the Alley cat, Oaxacan on top of the world with an orange jello shot, non alcoholic drink salted raspberry and chamomile. For the everything but the alley it tasted good but they didn't give us the plantain which they didn't even tell us when they served the drink. When we asked about it they said they ran out and didn't even offer a substitute. The oaxacan on top of the world was pretty unique with the jello shot. The Salted raspberry and chamomile tasted like a fruit juice. Service was mediocre. It was pretty slow and since we were such a large group we sorta confused the waiter who ordered what. Also, they ran out of items like the plantain and didn't bother to inform us. Overall it was a lot of hype but I probably won't be back.

Yelp
This place was SO SO cool! I felt cool just being there and everyone there looked cool to be around as well! I came with my coworker one day after work on a Friday and the ambiance was next level! First of all the drinks were all so well thought out. We got this one tequila drink that fizzes up when you drink it and makes your tongue numb- in a good way though! There was also this super friendly bartender who walked around with his GIN CART! Yes, you heard that right! He made you Gin drinks on the spot so we had to order two from him! For food we ordered the Crispy Pork Skins, Pimento Cheese, Celery appetizer by Rooney Scott which was a delicious small bites, we had to order the Short Ribs, Mozzarella, Arugula, Chili Vinaigrette Pizza by Ann Kim (still drooling). We had to get the steak tartar (always a classic order for me) and we heard all over tiktok that the meatloaf was a must- so we ordered My Granmother's Meatload, Mashed Potatoes, Beef Gravy and it did not dissapoint! I also wish we ordered the Japanese Fried Chicken and the Hush Puppies! We did, however, get the Honey Cake with Salted Hazelnuts and that was so many layers of deliciousness! The bill came in one of those old Netflix DVD packages that we used to get sent when we ordered DVDs! So glad we got to experience this!

Yelp
Pizzas were really good! The kimchi and the short rib pizzas is what we got. We were a party of 5 and it was not enough. Pricey for a pizza its size but packed with flavor. Service was amazing we were late for our reservations because of traffic and we were seated when all the ppl in the party arrived. Its located next to a hotel and parking for hotel and its guests. There is a pool next door. Across the street was the original farmer's market where we parked with a price. Make sure to get ur ticket validated. I wish they had cute souvenirs they gave out for dining. It was pretty chill vibes.

Yelp
Netflix bites is very just oh Kay. I think I probably would have enjoyed this more if I watched more food shows on Netflix. The food is yummy but very smoll. More like finger bites. There are a lot of bees outdoors but they don't bite. Staff is very friendly. Overall I think it's fun to try it once and highly recommend to go during one of their special events but it will prob be a one time experience.

Yelp
My sis got reservations through Resy, so we were able to try it out and see what the hype is about. I want to start off by saying that the food was very good, fresh, and very good quality. Shotout to the amazing chefs, mixologist, and Netflix for the great experience of this pop up restaurant. All of them were from the hit Netflix shows. What I ordered was the smoked chicken wings, Japanese fried chicken, cod, and lady Zaza pizza by Ann Kim. All was very delicious and I left out full for sure. Made to perfection and hot which I like. The drinks I tried was by Kate Gerwin. I had the opportunity to try " Happy Accidents" and "Oaxocan On Top Of The World." They were very creative and pretty darn good. Good amount of alcohol was definitely in the drinks, so well worth it. The ambiance is perfect and some very nice decor to represent Netflix. They gave only a little indoor seating by the bar area. They have mostly outdoor seating provided, which is a nice ambiance. Unfortunately, they do not substitute at all! This is the reason behind the 3 star review. I feel that restaurants should be accommodating to those with diet needs and allergens. It's only what's on the menu so look carefully before you order. Parking is limited, it's pretty much street parking and valet in Short Shorties Hotel for $20. It's cashless payments so be credit card/plastic ready! Overall, not sure if I will come back it's ok for the experience, but the service was not that great to me. Our waitress did not no too much. On the bright side though, she was very nice and sweet so I let that slide. Plus she had good recommendations to try on the menu.

Yelp
I really don't understand the other reviews. We obviously had a different chef(s) than the others that were dissatisfied with their experience. When we arrived it was like arriving an invitation only event. There were not very many customers in line, but there were quite a few people to greet you. I wasn't too happy about having to sit close to the pizza oven, because you were definitely inhaling the smoke from the oven. As we looked around the colorful ambiance, we enjoyed looking around and reading the walls and seat cushions. The food was definitely delicious. The best part of the meal was Nadia Hussain's Chocolate Orange Blossom Baklava, served with Clotted Cream. The pizza by Ann Kim of BBQ Short Ribs, Mozzarella, Arugula, and Chili Vinaigrette was devoured by us. We tried numerous Small Bites. We tried one from each featured chef. Everyone enjoyed the Big Bites that they ordered.

Yelp
I received an invitation from "Resy" to make reservations for the Nextflix Bites pop-up restaurant. I was interested in attending, because, I knew the drinks and food were from the chefs and mixologists from the famous watched shows (Drink Masters, Iron Chef, etc.) on Netflix. Based on the information, I decided to take my mom for her birthday. We ordered cod, chicken wings, pizza, yakitori chicken, and smoked chicken wings. Everything was delectable. However, they do not let you substitute, nor do they have any sides. This changed my mom's entire disposition and experience. Many people have health issues or are allergic to certain food items, etc. I feel a restaurant should be accommodating to their customers within reason. Our waiter was ok. She was kind, professional and gave good suggestions for food items and drinks. Unfortunately, she was not observant at times. I tried two drinks, "Everything But The Alley Cat" and "Absinthe Sour." Both drinks were refreshing and tasty. The decor was very nice. It represented Netflix. Most of the seating is outside. Very little seating inside. Parking is limited. Valet parking is located at the hotel, adjacent to the restaurant. Otherwise, you have to park on the street or across the street in a parking lot near the Grove. Valet parking is $20. Overall, it's a cool place to hang out and experience the pop-up. Maybe if they allow changes to food items and add sides, I may return.

Yelp
Had high hopes for this but it wasn't what I had expected being a Netflix sponsored pop-up. The idea sounds great and was the reason we wanted to try it. But honestly, it wasn't anything special. Besides the Netflix and celebrity chef theme/marketing, the food was overpriced and underwhelming. As for the decor, it was a nicely done pop-up. Great for a few pictures and featured the celeb chefs. It felt like a real restaurant. Hostess was nice and since we arrived early, they were able to bring us to a nice little waiting area. As for the service, it was definitely not what I'd expect for the $70+ per person meal we had. You don't get the service of a regular restaurant that would charge these prices and you definitely get the feeling these servers don't normally work in a restaurant. In addition, we were told up front already, but dishes do not come out in the typical order (meaning apps come first followed by entrees). They basically come out whenever they are done and all out of order. Now don't get me wrong, the food wasn't bad. I liked the idea of trying dishes inspired/created by your favorite celeb chefs. But for the price, it wasn't worth it. The $52 black cod tasted very good but the presentation and quantity was lackluster. The meatloaf and lamb ribs were very tasty too and both pizzas were good, but for the price and experience, I didn't feel like we got our money's worth. To sum it up, it was a great idea but Netflix could have done better with the execution. We've been to a few Netflix sponsored events but this one was my least favorite.

Yelp
This was definitely a great food experience. The food that I ate here I never tried any restaurant so that wasn't good experience, although I did not see any celebrity chefs or any thing out of the ordinary, the weight staff and food was really friendly, and the decor of the location was amazing. Definitely recommend at least try it out.

Yelp
Before I get into the magnitude of today's gluttitude, or copious amounts of food that I simply destroyed today. Which after losing 116 lbs was a more than welcomed indulgence. It was hot and sure today it would have been welcomed to have an indoor table however it wasn't unbearable outside. Our server Sierra was incredibly accommodating, super friendly and always available. Her pleasant demeanor added to our overall experience. As for the food, my wife and I chose multiple dishes because, why not? How often is this chance going to be available for us. For those of you who know me know that I used to work for barbecue hall of famer APL. So right off the bat I focused my attention on the Rodney Scott open face whole hog sandwich and I added a sunny side up egg. Barbecue is truly a labor of love and this sandwich conveyed that sentiment. Although being a big guy I wished it was bigger it was perfect with the richness of the yolk as the perfectly fried French fries. My wife opted for the French Toast from Jacques Torres, We also went with the unadvertised chef special from Ming Tsis, phyllo dough wrapped around oyster mushrooms and topped with another sunny side up egg. The yolk, phyllo dough and mushrooms melded together seamlessly. Since this is a once in a lifetime event I also ordered the short rib pizza from Ann Kim. When it arrived the heavenly aroma of that pizza wafted up slowly, almost deliberately and I knew I was in for a treat. The crust had a great chew to it, I only wish the chili vinaigrette had a bit more spice. My wife went with Tomato Pie from Ann Kim. At the end of this outrageous food train was the chocolate box and bomboloni from famed chocolatier Jacques Torres. Now I am a huge chocolate fanatic and I have been for as long as I can remember. Each chocolate in the box has its own special notes and the bomboloni packed a cream filled punch. My favorite was the raspberry. It's flavor was explosive and well worth the calories.

Yelp
I made reservations about a month out because I loved the concept! I love cooking shows and it was fun to imagine eating creations made by chefs from the Netflix shows. The decor was really cool inside - I liked how they did it. I feel like an even cooler concept would've been to additionally have a projector that would play the Netflix shows/episodes these dishes are featured in. Also, park at the Grove & walk over. Don't park at the Farmers Market - it's super expensive. We only paid $10 for parking for an hour & a half at the Grove. We started with drinks and I will say their drinks were very tasty! Their drinks outshined the food which to me isn't right. I'm coming here for a great food experience not for the drinks. We started with the lamb ribs which were very tender and melted off the bone. They had a great flavor. The yogurt it came with lacked flavor. We ordered the short rib pizza and that was enjoyable. The meat was tasty, easy to bite through & I liked the arugula on top. It didn't stand out to me though. It was good but not a great pizza. We also got the meatloaf - this had good flavoring and wasn't your typical meatloaf. The mashed potatoes were creamy and smooth. Again, this dish didn't stand out. We ended with the honey cake and the best part was the honeycomb on top. I wish there were crunchy bits throughout or that the cake had a richer flavor. Overall, a cool experience but the food was very underwhelming. It's veryyyyy pricey as well. I'd recommend someone to come here for drinks & a pizza but that's about it. The service was great as well! They check on you often.

Yelp
Come Netflix and chill with me at the newly opened @netflixbites pop-up at Short Stories Hotel in LA. Featured on the menu are dishes by 6 Netflix chefs including my all-time favorite @dominiquecrenn , who is the chef of the three Michelin star @atelier.crenn . We managed to snag a Sunday brunch reservation (with a $25 deposit per person), and I would highly recommend requesting for an indoor seat if possible due to the hot LA summer temperatures lately. Here's what we tried: Lobster chawan mushi with furikake crema by @mingtsai Tortilla espanola pico, pickled jalapeño, smoked crème fraiche with caviar by @dominiquecrenn (my favorite) Happy little accidents Lady zaza by @annbkool (was burnt ) Mango and black peppercorn cranachan by @nadiyajhussain The bill came to around $200 for 2 people, which wasn't too shoddy considering the prestige of the chefs featured and the high quality and presentation of each dish. However, I was a bit miffed by the 20% mandatory tip, especially since the hostesses were a bit rude (although our server was a complete sweetheart). Overall, this pop-up was definitely worth checking out, and I'll probably try to make another reservation to try out their dinner menu!

Yelp
I feel like all pop ups this place was a little over hyped and kinda underwhelming Cute venue located in one of the most annoying places to try to find parking We opted to park across at the farmers market and walk over Food was okay, nothing super mind blowing and a little flavorless which was disappointing because this place was supposed to have dishes from TVs top rated Netflix chefs Cute in theory poor in execution im afraid Dont think id go back as it wasnt worth the money

Yelp
Let me just start it off by saying I do not understand why people come here because all the food that I've watched on Netflix I am 100% almost sure that the food I tasted do not seem like the food I saw on the Netflix shows. Yes, they do look really pretty on the pictures however, they do not taste very good. I will say the only good "food" I tasted were their cocktails. Their cod was melting in your mouth but not much seasoning, pork skin tasted like something from Asian supermarket, rib was dry and tasteless, cheese ball was very dry, mushroom tart was weird tasting, yakitori chicken was juicy but typical taste and finally truffle mushroom dumplings were mid for Asians. They basically made Asian food but for white people. Very blend and very bad. The price was pricy, we spent around almost $400. Ambiance was for influencers, modern interior and colorful settings. Good for pictures. Would I come back here? Absolutely not. I would say this is one of the worst food I've tasted in a long time. Why I gave 1/5 star? Because I don't even think their 3 stars justify how bad this place is. Please save your money and go somewhere else.

Yelp
4/5 for the food, 3/5 for the service, 2/5 for the location My fiance had heard that Netflix opened up a restaurant featuring chef cuisine from their shows so my friends and I decided to check this place. Overall, it was A-Ok. I'd like to check out their dinner menu to see if it was good. FOOD My friends and I ordered a handful of food since we all wanted to try a piece of it. We ordered the following: - Lobster Chawan Mushi with Furikake Crema - Jumbo Lump Crab Cake, Poached Eggs, Hollandaise - Lady Zaza Pizza - BBQ Short-Rib Pizza - Bambolini - Mango and Black Peppercorn Cranachan - We also ordered their special, which had shiitake mushroom and was a small bite, but I forgot the name of it. Overall, I would recommend the crab cakes, the BBQ short-rib pizza, and the mango and black peppercorn cranachan. Can't go wrong with crab cakes and I loved the taste of the short-rib pizza. The mango and black peppercorn reminded me of a mango pie, and it was delightful with the bitterness of the peppercorn. The Lady Zaza Pizza was spicy and the Lobster Chawan was cool. You definitely have to try all components of the dish to enjoy it entirely. The Bambolini was a good runner-up, it comes in 4 pieces. Tasted like a cream puff, it was nice. DRINKS: My friends ordered the Absinthe Sour and Happy Little Accident. My fiance ordered from the bar cart. Our guy, Aaron, was AMAZING. He mixed together this Yuzu drink for my fiance and it was delightful. Who knew 3 ingredients could be so powerful. He also explained to us the components of what went in the Happy Little Accident. It was so fun! We had a great time with him. He recommended all the drinks we ordered and they did not disappoint. If you see him at the bar cart, def try his recs, he's amazing! SERVICE: It was alright, but I'm not going to known our waitress since she had several tables. Service was initially slow. We got our food before we got our drinks. Luckily none of my friends were in a rush to do anything after. As soon as the rush was done, our server quickly gave us more water, our check, and recommendations on desserts to try. It was an overall favorable experience. LOCATION: There's street parking all around, but it's tough. If you can't find any around, I recommend just parking at the Grove and walking a block or two. My fiance and I circled around and could not find any street parking for about 20 minutes. Granted, we did come around 11:30am, which was peak brunch time. I recommend giving yourself time to find parking so you don't miss your reservation. Bathrooms are unisex/singular and are super nice and clean. I love the design and the overall ambiance of the bathroom as well as the overall restaurant. It's definitely bigger than it looks on the outside. I'd try this place for dinner. Overall, I don't think i'll come back for brunch as it kind of felt like a one and done restaurant. The food and experience was overall alright. Happy to say that I went though. Would definitely recommend at least once to experience.

Yelp
A cool experience since we've watched a lot of the shows where the chefs were featured on, although we don't really feel compelled to come back. I made a reservation online for dinner on Sunday at 6pm & when we arrived, there was still plenty of seating. We liked the vibe of the patio and service was great. Menu items were on the pricey side so we only ordered a few things to try. Here's what we ordered: Drink: - Everything But the Alley Cat 5/5- delicious and creamy, I really liked this! It reminded me of a really light smoothie. Served with a grilled plantain on the side which was a nice touch but didn't really add to the drink too much. Food: - Summer Tomato Pie pizza by Ann Kim 3/5- a dry pizza since there was no sauce under the cheese. Some tomato sauce would've made it more enjoyable IMO. It could be more garlicky, but the honey drizzle on top complemented the pizza well. The bottom was a little too charred for my liking though. - Japanese Fried Chicken (karaage) 4/5 - recommended by our server. Fried nicely, the chicken bits were juicy. Small portion though and felt overpriced at $17. Although it was a cool experience & atmosphere, it didn't really feel like it was worth the price. I would still recommend visiting to try unique menu items if something interests you or if you're a fan of the chef(s), although definitely budget accordingly.

Yelp
Been wanting to check out this place out. The restaurant is very instagramable... everywhere u see... ppl r taking selfies We started with 2 drinks... and both were fantastic... Happy Little Accident (alcoholic) & Pom Spritz (non-alcoholic). The menu wasn't what I expected. I was disappointed at the fact that a lot of items on previous yelper's reviews r no longer on the menu. We ended up ordering the following food.. wood fired lamb ribs, zaza pizza & dungeoness crab curry. All were pretty tasty. I give all the dishes a solid 4 out of 5 star. Overall, we enjoyed our evening... tasting food created by several top chefs. Our bill for 2 ppl came out to $155 before tip. That's quite fair for the quality of food they served.

Yelp
So.....between all these chefs we have michelin star winners, James beard award winners, etc. You would think the food would be cooked at that level either James beard or michelin star level, sorry to spoil it but its not at that level. If you want to know why read on. So much talented chefs lent their name and brands to this pop up, I get it they aren't actually at the pop up so it's up to someone else to turn out their signature dishes. Unfortunately it falls flat. Most of the dishes weren't bad, well ok the pork ribs were pretty bad. But,the dishes were not at their level of the chefs they were from. The pizza is similar to cpk, not bad per se but not amazing. The appetizers small bites were good, but again not amazing. And most everything was over priced for what it is. The one drink I had with mezcal, just don't order it. One of the worst unbalanced drinks I've had in a long time, cheap mezcal, just not good. Again disappointing since it was supposed to have been on a Netflix show. The one good thing was our server was pretty friendly and helped us out with recommendations. I saw other reviews about service being un even or indifferent. Out server was pretty good, one caveat is that we came in pretty late, 920 on a Monday night. By the time we were halfway eating the restaurant was mostly empty. So maybe if you came around 7 on a Friday it might be different? The one area I thought they did a great job on was the overall decor and branding. Whoever designed it did a great job on that and everyone seemed to like the netflix branded pillows. Since we were the only ones there by the end of the night, we were able to get great pictures and shots of everything so that was nice. Overall, don't go to this expecting excellent renditions of these famous chefs signature dishes. If you have had any of these dishes before you will probably be disappointed. Come here because you like the shows or netflix I guess? If any of the chefs are reading this review....do better with whoever is executing your dishes, it's like a prep chef trying to pretend to be sous chef. This could be a 4-5 star easy if the food just matched the decor.

Yelp
Made reservations before the menu was out so risked paying $25 per person for the deposit in hopes that Netflix bites would be worth it. This place is subpar or average at best. I would recommend it to say you've gone but not something you'd regularly go to. There's limited paid street parking and paid cashless valet parking for $20 which is also limited. There's also an automatic 20% gratuity on the bill. Food: my friend and I got the hush puppies, mushroom fricassee and the pickle pizza. I love pickles on anything so the pickle pizza is what made me give three stars and would go back for just this. The hush puppies were alright but on the dry side. The mushroom fricassee was disgusting. Please don't get it. It tasted like ground up dirt and mushroom wrapped in a sweet tart. Service: the service was okay. The food came out super fast so that's a plus if you're starving. However, when I ordered the pickle pizza, the server jokingly asked if I was pregnant. Weird way to joke around honestly. Ambiance: if you can, sit at the patio. It's nicer and more spacious with lots of decor to look at. The inside, where my friend and I sat, was super crowded and dark. We also unfortunately got out next to the kitchen and staff kept yelling corner while going around my chair. It felt like I was in the way. Overall, this place is okay to me and it was nice to try out but not something I would come back to.

Yelp
I really enjoyed my experience at Netflix Bites! Probably a one time experience for us but would still recommend to friends for date night or something different. Love the concept and it was fun to see dishes we recognized from all the Netflix cooking shows we watch! Food - we got the sun dried tomato pizza and the crab cake Benedict. Everything was so delicious. The pizza was heavy on the oil but tasted SO good. Drinks - I absolutely loved that they had a Bloody Mary cart. The bartender for the cart was probably our favorite worker there, he was so friendly and made my bloody exactly to my liking. The cocktails we ordered were also well crafted and delicious. Service - other than the bar cart guy, the service was not great. Our waiter was pretty rude and it often took a while to get ahold of him. He definitely was not working to up his tip on our table. Ambiance - such a cool space... loved all the Netflix art and bright patterns. Took some great pictures near the Netflix Bites sign. Loved all the pillows! Great touches.

Yelp
Honestly, with all these reviews I was anxious for our experience here but the food was GREAT!! The black cod was very rich and soft it was amazing! The outside seating was very cool at night and enjoyable. Service checked in regularly and was kind. Overall GREAT stuff, just super pricey. It was just a nice treat on a Monday, out of the ordinary restaurant experience.

Yelp
How can you go wrong when you assemble a menu of food from great chefs? Answer: You can't. Some might think that we over ate but getting reservations a 6 weeks out made us think that we should order what we wanted and take the rest home. In the end it was a great decision. We ate a slice of the BBQ short rib pizza and took the rest to go. If you're a fan of any of these chefs be sure to take pics of all the art. It's a really nicely themed spot. Meatloaf -- Perfectly moist. Crab -- That curry flavor was so good. Japanese fried chicken -- the crisp was on point. Yakitori -- larger than normal for sure. Shortbread -- not too sweet. Creamy! Bbq pizza -- take a bite then take it to go. Best decision.

Yelp
Let's start with the booth we were sat in outside.... It's adjacent to a boutique hotel so you'll see some kids drying off from their dip in the pool but maaaaan it was filthy. I had a white skirt so I placed the cloth napkin down to sit on. It was just so dirty and off putting. Anyway, on to the drinks... the gin cart was cool because you'll get your drinks table side instead of waiting 20 to 30 mins for the drinks to come from the bar. We ordered several different plates on the menu and I gotta say my favorite was the bbq short rib pizza. I gave it two stars because food didn't meet our expectations for the price, parking is terrible so make sure you Uber, we had to keep after our waiter for napkins and silverware or to check on our order and the dirty seats. Just unacceptable. :/

Yelp
CHARGEBACK: Netflix never adjusted the cost of my dinner to reflect the $50 reservation fee that I paid. I am working with my bank to handle the discrepancy now. Bland food, excessive wait times (our whole experience took almost 2 hours), terrible atmosphere. Had really high hopes considering the name recognition of the chefs, but it was very abruptly dropped off a cliff. Where to even start... The noise was beyond loud, making it difficult for even my server to hear my orders. Not saying that I was expecting an upscale restaurant, but considering the price I expected a little decorum in my dining experience that was clearly lacking. The service was beyond excessively slow. I went two hours before closing, and was still made to wait a good 20 minutes even with reservation and no line. We ordered the Truffle-shiitake mingbings, smoked black cod, mushroom fricassee tart, and the lady zaza. Everything came in reasonable time, except the smoked black cod, which came only after 55 minutes after we ordered, a whole HOUR and 10 minutes after we were seated, or AN HOUR AND A HALF AFTER OUR RESERVATION. You would think they would at the very least remember to keep our drinks topped up while we waited, but I had to flag down our waiter over 7 times that night, just to get an update on our food and refills on the water. Now the food. Where to even start...the tart was bland. The lady zaza pizza was bland. The cod was...actually decent, but considering it's the second most expensive item on the menu AND a 55 minute wait, definitely a sour taste in our mouths. The only thing that was good was the mingbings, so compliments to the chefs there on a unique and actually great tasting experience. But I don't think one appetizer can carry the whole menu, just like how it didn't carry the dinner. All in all, expensive dinner for a beyond subpar experience. I was willing to put aside the considerations of the news to give Netflix a chance considering the weight of the chefs' names, but it's sadly clear that Netflix gives as much consideration to their writers as their customers, both online and off. If you HAVE to try this "restaurant," then get Mingbings I suppose.

Yelp
I've been seeing a lot of hype around Netflix Bites but didn't know what it was all about. For those that don't know, the menu consists of dishes created by various high level chefs that have appeared on the Netflix series' Chef's Table, Iron Chef, and Nailed it! Let's get into what our experience was like. We were there on a Wednesday night, and it was fairly busy. Busy enough that we waited outside for a few minutes, and sat at the bar. At the bar we had access to the full menu. Once I "got" what the restaurant was all about, I was excited to see what chefs and dishes were featured. Good selection from great chefs such as Ming Tsai, Curtis Stone, Ann Kim, Andrew Zimmern, and Dominique Crenn. I had the Cornbread Old Fashioned cocktail which was good, just a little sweet (they told me ahead of time it would be), but it had no visible connection to corn, bread, or cornbread. Still it was good and the bartender explained the name. We tried the Japanese fried chicken appetizer which everyone loved, and the roasted cauliflower with smoked tahini sauce. That was good but didn't stand out as a must have dish. The Japanese fried chicken is not what you typically get at a restaurant specializing in it, because it wasn't super crispy (double fried) or tangy sweet. Still, the Andrew Zimmern version was seasoned perfectly and quite good - both crunchy and tender with a great mayo. The real hit was a pizza we would have never ordered if it wasn't for our server's recommendation. Wait for it...the Minnesota Pickle Pie (I know, I know, sounds crazy and even gross). We also got the BBQ short rib pizza. Everyone in my party was shocked at how much we liked a pizza with pickles, ranch, dill, and kettle chips on it. Not sure why or how, but it works. The dough on both pizzas was also perfect. The BBQ short ribs pizza was sweet, tangy, delicious, and had arugula and a chili vinaigrette to cut the sweetness. Both were excellent and I would order again - but that pickle pie...wow. Desserts looked amazing, but after two pizzas and fried chicken, I put my body through enough trauma and opted out. This pop-up restaurant was fun, had cool decor, excellent service (staff was ridiculously kind and helpful), and solid food. It's not cheap, but I'm not mad at that. If you want to try some interesting food from some of the shows you've loved on Netflix, then check it out. Another cool thing they do is serve your bill in one of the old Netflix DVD sleeves, but I'm guessing not everyone is as old as me and had that subscription. Fun restaurant with good food.

Yelp
Netflix Bites wasn't awful, but it certainly didn't meet or exceed our expectations. The marketing and hype have been over the top, so we were hoping there would be more to love and items we'd want to come back for but this felt more like a "been there, done that" type of experience. Upon arrival, one of the hostesses was unhelpful and unkind, but thankfully her colleagues were much more warm and friendly, and helped even out the customer service experience. Our server was solid and attentive, I think his name was Ben, and he helped us order a couple tasty dishes. Not sure why the nonalcoholic beverage option was priced so high, but it was in line with the theme of all the other menu items which were priced way more than their worth and quality. Overall, we enjoyed the Japanese fried chicken appetizer, after skimming through other reviews to see what we might want to avoid. The chicken was crisp, tasty, and not too salty - the lemon really helped balance out the flavors. We also tried the hush puppies which were pretty dense, but came with a delicious honey butter spread. For main meals, we tried the Bbq Short Rib pizza which I would recommend, and my cousin ordered the Minnesota Pickle Pie. Unfortunately the pizzas both had very charred/burnt bottoms so we peeled away some of the crust and bottoms of each slice. For dessert, my cousin ordered the Honey Cake which she really enjoyed. I'd recommend sitting outside and either ordering light or maybe grabbing a couple cocktails and being aware that you'll end up with an overpriced bill. Thankfully, the deposits for the reservation were applied to the final bill so at least some of the money didn't go to waste. Worth stopping by if you want to snag a reservation and see what it's all about, but don't expect to be blown away no matter how much they boast about the chefs who made/inspired their creations because I'm sure those chefs would at least have better quality control.

Yelp
You should go for the atmosphere and cocktails, but the food is extremely pricey and mid at best. The Mushroom Fricassee Tart was like 4 inches wide for $19 and wasn't very flavorful. The tart part tasted a bit soggy. The Wood Fired Lamb Ribs were a bit tough, lacked flavor, and the flavor it did have wasn't very pleasant. Luckily the cocktails were fantastic. Otherwise this place would've been a 1 star for me. The cocktails were strong without tasting the alcohol much. Absolute perfection. The service was decent. Overall, not worth the visit unless you're there to drink!

Yelp
I had a phenomenal experience at this pop up. Went the first full week they were open, and our reservation was the first seating for the dinner service. Our service was excellent. We had our server as well as a manager and other bussers come and check on us. The menu is intended to be tapas style, so you can order things to share. Everything comes out as it is ready, so it arrives to the table piping hot. We started the service with some cocktails that were featured on Drink Masters, the Oaxacan on Top of the World. We ordered a little bit of everything, but my favorites were the hush puppies and the Lady Zaza pizza. Other things we enjoyed included the Japanese fried chicken, summer potato pie (pizza), and pulled whole hog with ribs & collard greens. For dessert, we got the You Plate It, You Nailed It Kit and the honey cake. We really enjoyed everything we had, our experience and the ambiance!

Yelp
Atmosphere and space was pretty fun and cute. Food was very yummy we tried a variety of items. First up the chilled Tomato and grilled watermelon consomme, compressed fruit. This was delicious, but you really can't share it, so don't order it for the table like we did! Next up was the roasted cauliflower with smoke tahini sauce, espelette - this was a big hit at the table also the mushroom tarts with caramelized onions and sesame seeds, delicious! Next up a BBQ short ribs mozzarella arugula pizza and the pizza queen herself Ann Kim delivered it to our table, such a fun treat! Curtis Stone's Whole Dungeness Crab curry was heavenly, they give you a bib, i recommend you use it! It gets a bit messy but worthy it for the deliciousness of this dish. We closed out the night with dessert kit - "you plate it, you nailed it" which was fun for the table! Service was so-so but the food made up for it!

Yelp
Okay I'm so late because I'm not even sure if this still open. But if pop-up restaurant based on a Netflix show doesn't give you LA then I don't know what does. But is it worth the price tag is the question? The chefs' menus are legit and the food is excellent, but I do think sometimes places like this can get diluted in a food scene like LA. If you're from out of town, this entirely worth it. If you're in LA, this worth a date night, maybe even an occasional visit, but unsure if I would become a regular here just because of the price tag. However I still give it five stars for the concept as a whole and the experience. Things I tried that are actually awesome: --Wood fried lamb ribs --Whole dungness crab --A lot of the cocktails are excellent and not just an overpriced AMF looking thing Reservations are a MUST. Walk-in culture for high demand restaurants like this is not really what the chef ordered. Parking: no, good luck with street parking, free in some areas, paid in others Seating: indoor and outdoor table Wifi: no Payment: card or electronic preferred Dress code: business casual at minimum, wear something warm as it can get cold outdoors Vibe: trendy bougie restaurant that's very influencer culture

Yelp
Food: 2/5 Service: 4/5 Going with, yet against my gut... I put down a $25 pp non refundable reservation fee for a menu that wasn't even released yet. No food items, no pricing, just sheer hope that it would be decent. Fast forward to the reservation day. The ambiance was nice. The pop up location was decorated conservatively and not over the top. I think it's a bit weird to have it a location that's across the street from the Writers Guild of America, but I'll assume this spot was reserved way before the strike; at least I hope. Service was mostly good. I think once they realized we were only going to order 3 small plates and a pizza they stopped checking in on us lol. Please note 20% gratuity is built into the check minus your reservation fee. Food: best tip I can give is to not order your food selections all at once. 1. Since there aren't many reviews, if you order 1-2 dishes at a time, it will give you a feel of the sizing of the portions and quality of the food. 2. All the food came out super quick. That's surprising since I would expect that if the dishes were made from scratch, it should take longer. Our pizza and 3 small plates all came out within 15 minutes. Based in the quality of the food, I wouldn't be surprised if the food was pre made and then heated back up before serving. For the price tag, I would expect better than this. Lamb Ribs: one of the bigger small plates. It was dry and mediocre at best. The sauce on the side didn't complement the flavoring of the ribs. Mushroom tart: best dish, hands down. If all the food here tasted like this, I would recommend. Zaza pizza: different in a way that I wasn't sure what to make of it. Pretty sure it gave me the runs. Consomme: I've seen Stranger Things served. I thought this was a mistake, then I thought a joke, but turned out to be $15 for well, I'll let the picture speak for itself. Should be under the extra extra small plate section. Overall, based on my experience I can't recommend this place/experience. It's a pop up so if Netflix decides to do this again in another city, hopefully LA is a learning experience. If I had to do this all over again, I would of made a reservation just to have the Mushroom Tart and alcoholic drink (drinks looked amazing). To sum up my review in Netflix terms, it's a unsubscribe for me. Cheers.

Yelp
Living in SoCal, these gimmicky experiences are a dime a dozen. The point is to take someone you like out for a fun night and call it a day. This one happens to have Netflix's name on it. We went opening week so the ambience was fun and eager to please. I took my girlfriend out and we had a blast mainly due to each other's company and the employees. Our night started with the hostess out front who got us seated in a timely manner. Please note regardless if you have a reservation there is still a mini line outside the door. After we were seated, Aaron came over with his gin and tonic cart. We chatted and he made recommendations as he made us a drink. Ben, our server, came next and helped us figure out what we should get. Both of them had pleasant demeanors and were fun to chat with throughout the night. I felt attended to but not suffocated. Onto the food (don't judge us for over-ordering): - Wood Fired Lamb Ribs: get it, don't question it. It was my favorite of the night - Roasted Cauliflower: you could pass, it was refreshing but that's it - Japanese Fried Chicken: my gf liked it, I felt like I could get better ones in Little Tokyo - Lady Zaza: It was an interesting flavor to have on a pizza especially if you like a kick with your dough, you'll definitely have extra if splitting between two people - Whole Dungeness Crab Curry: Good flavor but it can get messy despite them pre-cracking the crab. They also give you bibs but I wish they gave us gloves as well - Honey Cake: delish if you've got a sweet tooth - Chocolate Orange Blossom Baklava: if you don't typically each baklava, this isn't for you. If you're particular about textures, this isn't for you The drinks I'd highlighy recommend are: Everything but the Alley Cat and the Happy Little Accidents. Acquired taste cocktail was the absinthe sour.

Yelp
It's been several months since Netflix Bites so I can't remember what I ate. I honestly thought I already left a review with a list of what I ate, so I'm sorry that I don't remember anymore. Basically Pros: Awesome idea, exciting to be able to go to eat the same recipes that we saw on the shoes. Cons: Food didn't taste great, some of the flavors just didn't jive with eachother, it was obvious that the foods were probably not fresh, probably prepared days ahead and then rewarmed, and I guess we just had expectations we would see at least one of the chefs, but you don't, you just get to see the artwork of the chefs on the wall. Probably wouldn't go to another unless it was cheaper, or they make the food taste better. I have suspicions that the food on TV tastes way better than what was served.

Yelp
We stopped in for a late dinner and loved the ambiance of the place but was a bit disappointed with the food. I've always wanted to try the actual dishes on food shows so I was so excited at the new concept. You have to put down a $25/pp deposit which is non refundable but it can be applied toward dinner. We ordered the lamb ribs, hamachi, Japanese fried chicken, and the lady zaza pizza and was surprised at how small the portions were for the price tag. The dishes were decent flavor wise but nothing spectacular and the only one we'd recommend is the lady zaza pizza. The crust was nicely cooked and the kimchi added a spicy kick to each bite with the sauce and pork pulling it altogether. While the pizza saved our dinner, I think there are much better spots around here that you can get a better meal at.

Yelp
Overpriced below average food. I was very disappointed with my meal here. The restaurant was very cute and had so much potential but I'm shocked such amazing chefs were serving these dishes. To start off I got the hush puppies which were very dry. They did pair it with a delicious butter, the butter was probably the best part. The pomegranate spritz tasted like soap and the absinthe sour tasted like sunscreen. The tomato pie was just okay but lacked flavor. The honey cake and baklava weren't bad but I've had better. We could've had leftovers but didn't really want any of it.

Yelp
If you're like me, you're currently looking through all the yelp reviews and cherry-picking the best dishes to get - despite the 3 star average rating - so at least your night can go well enough to justify the expensive meal. Spoiler! Not worth it. FLAVOR (2/5): 1. AUSSIE TRUFFLE-SHIITAKE MINGBINGS, LEMON WATERCRESS SALAD: Probably the highlight of the night, and even then it wasn't much of a highlight. I'm not a big fan of mushrooms but I will admit for a mushroom dish I thought it was decent. My friend enjoyed it and I guess I would equate it to a mushroom spanakopita. However, in terms of overall flavor, it also tastes like something that you could just get from Trader Joes... Take from that what you will. 2. LADY ZAZA: From all the reviews I perused before my dinner, they mentioned that the Lady Zaza was one of the best dishes here. To me, it just tasted like kimchi on bread. Nothing extraordinary - and if you can imagine it in your head, it's probably spot on. 3. MINNESOTA PICKLE PIE: My favorite part of this was probably the kettle chips... My friend liked this more than the Lady Zaza (but not more than the Mingbings). It was a little too salty for my taste - with the cheese and the ranch, it all became overwhelming very quickly. 4. SMOKED BLACK COD: A lot of reviews mentioned that the black cod was good and some of them specifically said it was salty but tender... I will agree with the salty/tender... but I really disliked this dish as a whole. It comes with spinach (I think) and the spinach was completely lacking in flavor. I also felt like the sauce needed more oyster sauce and the soy sauce was overpowering. For context, this dish is $52. Nobu's Black Cod with Miso is $46 (and I know for a fact it's amazing). I couldn't finish this. 5. HONEY CAKE WITH SALTED HAZELNUTS: Once again a fan favorite amongst the yelp reviews... Not sure if I had something different but this cake just tasted like something you could get from Ralphs. I was expecting something unique, or at least on the level of Lady M for $18. SERVICE (4/5): Service was great, hence the 2 stars. However, my first round of utensils (they change them out when they change your plates) were dirty and there were very long wait times between certain dishes. AMBIENCE (5/5): Cute atmosphere, definitely Instagram-worthy, if you're into that. PARKING (1/5): Street parking or you can try to park at the Grove. TAKEAWAYS: In total, we spent around $70-80 per person for a subpar meal. The only redeeming portion of this dinner was the service, but I don't think it's worth it. Even after getting the best things on the menu (both according to the server and all the yelp reviews I saw), I was left dissatisfied. For the high price point, I expected more - and you can get more elsewhere. If you're debating on whether or not you should come... don't. And if you've already put in your deposit to make the reservation... maybe just get one appetizer and a drink. Is this what they mean when people say don't meet your heroes?

Yelp
We had a fantastic time - this place has a celebratory atmosphere and the energy was really positive and happy when we came for dinner. We were staying at the Short Stories Hotel and booked a table last month - easy since we just had to roll out of our hotel room. We had a 5:30 pm reservation, checked in outside and waited only a few minutes before we were seated at our table. We tried the: * Hush puppies with honey butter (ah, the honey butter is a perfect pair to these gorgeous hush puppies) * Pork rinds with pimento cheese (I would buy that pimento cheese- so good and motivated me to eat the celery!) * Lamb ribs - 4 of them and very tasty and fall off the bone * Roasted cauliflower with smoked tahini sauce (I could have licked the plate clean. This is a beautiful way to serve cauliflower!) * BBQ short rib pizza - perfection! Loved the combo of flavors * Summer tomato pie - Also delish - the pizza crust really is chewy with a great bite. * Happy Little Accidents - such a sweet and tasty cocktail with the tongue-tingling rim! * Spanish gin and tonic cart - this was so special! Kate Gerwin who was the mastermind behind this concept was on the premises - she taught a gin and tonic masterclass that afternoon and was fun spotting her on the patio. The gin and tonic cart offered so much customization - finding a really delicious combo of herbaciousness with pink grapefruit and Mediterranean tonic that my husband loved. * Honey cake - 8 lovely layers of light honey sweetened cake! * Coffee and cinnamon millionaire's shortbread - glad we shared this one! It was so decadent! * Chocolate kit #2 - my daughter had so much fun with this one -and assembled the chocolate to resemble the photo. Also she ate the whole thing quite happily and wanted to lick the plate clean. Overall, super memorable time just trying all of these fantastic dishes - not one stonker in the bunch. The patio was beautifully decorated and was nicely shaded. Our server was gracious and helpful - and food and drinks arrived promptly. It was all a well choreographed dance and we were very happy to be a part of it.

Yelp
Loved the atmosphere and colorful environment. They had a unique Bloody Mary cart which never got to us. The decor has some Netflix logos and bright colors so it looked like it had some potential. We saw some walk-in people since it was 10am. They have some breakfast foods, little to choose from. We began our adventure with an egg dish that was too salty for my liking. Then we had the rib pizza, followed by a pair of very delicious donuts. The pizza was okay worth trying but nothing I really loved. The Italian donuts were sweet and delicious, but who can make a donut not taste good? Okay menu, nice atmosphere, Sadly, nothing I'd come back for.

Yelp
We had a really good dinner and experience here. Came for dinner at 5pm on Thurs 7/6 Richie was our server. He was nice and sweet. We ordered the happy little accidents for our drinks....and it was yummy! If you're a tequila fan this is the drink! SO delicious (see pic)! We started with the curry Dungeness crab from Curtis Stone. It came with 2 pcs. of roti and dried garlic and ginger on the side. It was really good! Flavorful! The crab was tasty. The curry was yummy. The roti was charred in the wood fire oven and was delicious. The only bad thing about this dish is that it came with two pieces of roti. There should definitely be at least four or five if not six pieces of roti to scoop up that delicious curry that's left over after you eat all of the crab. You shouldn't have to pay extra for extra pieces of bread. At $65 for the dish it should come with a good amount of roti/pita...and if you need or want more you should be able to get it at no extra charge. Next we got 2 pizzas...the Korean bbq and the summer tomato pie. Both very good! I've had the Korean bbq pizza made by Ann Kim and I love it so I knew I had to get that for sure. Her summer tomato pie is SO good! It is simple yet delicious! Just cheese, tomatoes, garlic, basil, and honey. Yum!!! For dessert we got the baklava :-p flaky and tasty! good size piece of baklava too! Clotted cream was a nice compliment. I wish I had more room in my belly to order more dishes but we will come back and with more people so we can get more lol Restaurant was nice with pretty decor. Bathrooms were clean and had cute mirrors. Customer service was really nice. Thank you, Richie! Amanda was awesome, nice to talk to, and was on top of her game! Hoping to be back soon to try the rest :-)

Yelp
I had a wonderful experience at the Netflix Bites pop-up restaurant offering cuisine designed by chefs featured in the many Netflix food-themed competitive reality shows, such as Iron Chef, Chef's Table, Nadiya Bakes, and Nailed It! The ambiance is chic and fun with bright and neon colors throughout, and the staff were attentive and knowledgeable and helpful as it pertained to the menu. We were advised that the meals were meant to be shared, so we started with 5 orders from the small bites for our table of 5: - Curtis Stone's Wood-Fired Lamb Ribs with leek ash yogurt - devine! Only complaint is that it only came with 3 ribs (so truly a small bite!) - Ming Tsai's New Style Hamachi Sashimi with Madras curry oil flash and jalapeño (surprisingly a little sweet, and not too much heat). - Rodney Scott's Crispy Pork Skins and celery with pimiento cheese for dipping (most of our party enjoyed this!) - Dominque Crenn's Roasted Cauliflower with tahini sauce and espellete pepper (some of our party found this to have too much kick - but I enjoyed it!) - Andrew Zimmerman's Chicken Yakitori with scallions. This was also only 3 skewers, but with two pieces of meat on each skewer so we were still able to share. We also ordered pizzas by Ann Kim - the Minnesota Pickle Pie with smoked onions, fermented pickles, chili flakes, ranch, dill and kettle chips - an unexpected gem! And Summer Tomato Pie with sun gold tomatoes, mozzarella, pecorino romano, garlic, basil and honey - also great! From the bigger bites menu we grabbed an order of Ming Tsai's Smoked Black Cod with grilled hikari onigiri and soy-yuzu syrup, which I personally enjoyed, and Rodney Scott's Pulled Whole Hog with collards and ribs, which I personally found to be a little lackluster and dry. For dessert we tried one of each of the desserts and the favorites were Jacque Torres' interactive desserts that you get to plate yourself, and the box of chocolates. I also really enjoyed Nadiya's Honey Cake with salted hazelnuts - expertly layered and moist! To drink I enjoyed the slightly earthy, but still refreshing, Elderflower and Freshly Cut Green Grass Spritz with Tito's Vodka, St Germain, simple syrup, fresh lime juice, Champagne, celery bitters, Grande Absinthe, and basil leaves by bar chef Frankie Solarik. I also had LP O'Brien's Run Away With Me, with Kettel One Vodka, hibiscus, citrus, and coconut. Both were delicious! Overall, the Netflix Bites pop-up is an experience I am grateful to have had the opportunity to try, and I'd love to come back! Make a reservation now before it's limited run ends!

Yelp
Horrible seating arrangement inside. I reserved for a patio outside and got inside with neighbors on both sides. We all touching elbows. The service was horrible, the server couldn't even keep water refilled. The food literally bit the dust. It was mediocre. The drinks insanely expense and not the frilly for that price tag. I can see why this pop up only has a 3 star rating. I'm giving it 2 to be nice cause, but really want to give it one. I've been here once and won't be back. I've also told the people I work with that it's really not worth the drive from OC to check this place out.

Yelp
It was very exciting to come here for a date night. I had the best cocktail "Victory Garden" I still think about her often and will be something I long for months later. We ordered a light dinner. - chef Ming bings we're meh. They don't taste like anything special - Ans Kim's kimchi pizza was bomb! Really loved the ambiance and how it felt like entering another world. The little touches on the Netflix envelope for the bill was a nice ode.

Yelp
Parking: Better to ride share here because parking is hard to find. Ambiance/Service: The servers here are very attentive and really work as a team well. The food came out at a perfect sequence and so did the drinks. The prices for everything were too much for what they were. Food/Drinks: Lamb Ribs $25- 7/10 These were super tender and not too bad. I just couldn't pinpoint what they needed in order to be a little better. Maybe more salt? Something was missing. Hush Puppies with Honey butter $15- 8/10 These were actually good with the butter that came with them. Without the butter, they are just a tad dry inside. They were the perfect crunch in the outside. Hamachi Sashimi with Curry Oil $19 - 4/10 I really did not like the curry oil that they used for this dish. The fish itself was good but they ruined it with everything else. The taste was not there and it was so oily! Minnesota Pickle Pie $25 - 8/10 I was actually surprised at how good this was and was not expecting that. The dough was really good and the ingredients went well with one another. The potato chips on top are a welcomed added texture. Elderflower and Green Grass Spritz $22 - 7/10 Nothing too special here and had way to much ice to drink ratio. Victory Garden $18 - 8/10 I love gin so this was a delicious drink Run Away with Me $19 - 4/10 I didn't like this one maybe due to the coconut Spanish Gin and To iv Cart $19 - 9/10 Definitely my favorite because the table-side making of the drink and the choice of 3 different flavor to pick from. Get this! The food was ok and we purposely didn't order too much due to how overrated we already had heard this place was. I almost cancelled coming here but I'm happy I tried it out before it goes away forever. The vibe is fun and people seemed to be having fun here gathering. All the drinks here are on the weak side except for anything at the Gin Cart. You're mostly paying for a huge ice cube. The gin cart would be a must that I suggest. Otherwise, very few of their drinks were great so I felt like I wasted a lot of money for mediocre. It's a "try it once and not have high expectations" kind of place. Just enjoy your time with your table.

Yelp
I was pleasantly surprised by my experience after reading so many negative reviews! Had a reservation for 4 on a Sunday evening and was seated almost immediately. Service was really quick, but I did not ever really feel rushed. My husband is from the Deep South and he loved the hush puppies. He can be hard to impress when it comes to soul food sometimes. The Japanese fried chicken was great too. crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. I had never had pork rinds before tonight but I enjoyed them. My son seemed to like them a lot too. Very light and airy. The bbq short rib pizza was good but not spectacular. Though I'll say the crust was cooked perfectly. I don't know if I'd be a regular if they were permanent, but I'm glad I checked out this pop up while it's here.

Yelp
Cute ambiance but middling food, I'm surprised these chefs let their names be attached to some of them. AVOID the lamb (over cooked and burnt) with a weird flavor sauce, hush puppies (flavorless and honey butter couldn't save it) and kimchi pizza if you can't handle spice. MUST ORDER the chicken karaage, pork rinds with pimento cheese and hamachi with balsamic sauce. Will be coming back so I hope round two is better. Service is a bit haphazard but friendly. Food comes out as it's ready with no real order to it, which I didn't mind, but some may care. The pizza and mushroom tart were passable but not memorable.

Yelp
Not sure why people are hating so much on this pop-up because my friends and I had a great experience here. We had a reservation on Friday at 5pm. As expected, it was hard to find parking so we parked in the Trader Joe's lot and paid for parking after. There was a line outside so it took us 10-15 mins to get to the front. The check-in process was seamless. We were seated quickly after and our server took care of us well. The walls were well decorated and the location had a bunch of Netflix themed Easter eggs. We ordered the wood fired lamb ribs, mushroom fricassee tart, lady zaza pizza, and whole dungeness crab curry. Out of these, our favorites were the mushroom tart and lady zaza pizza! For drinks, we got the absinthe sour, elderflower green grass spritz, cornbread old fashioned, everything but the alley cat, and oaxacan on top of the world. Everything was nice and strong so we definitely felt a bit tipsy after. To end the meal, my friends and I got the chocolate box to share. Overall, we had a great time here. Our server was attentive and we enjoyed the food/drinks. Parking sucked and the price was pretty high but we all enjoyed the experience. Don't let other reviews keep you from this experience!

Yelp
Not worth it, very overrated in my opinion. Food just wasn't what I expected. I tried several dishes and it just wasn't as flavorful. The service wasn't good our server was very inattentive. Lastly the drinks were not strong. For the price I'd expect to get a little buzz.
