The Second Netflix House in America is Open at the Galleria | Eater Dallas

"Inside Galleria Dallas, this expansive, free-to-enter entertainment venue greets you with a huge neon-lit red envelope nodding to Netflix’s DVD-by-mail roots and invites guests to browse, snap photos, and explore at their own pace. Ticketed immersive experiences include Squid Game: Survive the Trials and Stranger Things: Escape the Dark (both starting at $39), and the second-level arcade uses refillable Netflix RePLAY game cards beginning at $10. Food, drinks, and merchandise are available upstairs at Netflix Bites alongside an on-site retail shop, and the space is open seven days a week with hours Monday–Thursday 10 a.m.–10 p.m., Friday–Saturday 10 a.m.–midnight, and Sunday 10 a.m.–8 p.m." - Kat Stinson

The Stranger Things escape room was so immersive, and interactive. I had a blast and it was totally worth it! It lasts about an hour as well so you get your monies worth. The restaurant side of things however could use some touches. The host wasnt the friendliest, and was very quiet and soft-spoken which shouldn't be a hostess at all. The food is ridiculously priced, including the merchandise, so I didn't buy any of the merch. I found some of the stuff there at HotTopic for $10 less or so. The food was okay, but again when you pay $20 for something it better be the best! It definitely was not, but overall I had a good time. Definitely photo worthy! I will be going back for the Squid Games experience, but I will definitely get food somewhere else! 7/10 IMO

Experienced stranger things escape the dark. It was great the atmosphere and the actors was so good but it was short. They need to give us more time for the experience. Also the arcade was great . Will visit again for the squid game experience and all the other things i missed. Will recommend

We love playing family games! We also binged watched Squid Games and Stranger Things each season so when we heard NH was opening only 20 minutes away and they were doing SG & ST….the only debate was which to choose! Because was had 2 littles who would be joining us, we chose Squid Games…it was SO GOOD!! We loved that the staff was totally in character the entire time! Honestly we kinda had butterflies-like we were about to experience the real thing!! Lol! We had so much fun that we definitely want to go back because we were told that they actually change the games so that people can experience something different each time. And I love that even our 3 yr old was able to participate! The cool thing is that the winner actually gets a souvenir to take home. There is merchandise to purchase on site as well as food, drinks and some dessert.

It was pretty fun and exciting overall, I had went with family and booked a 7:30 PM Squid Games Trials. The wait was decent and took at most half an hour. The trials consisted of 5 separate games which lasted about an hour. It had a lot of stress inducing fun, a well built setting, and good actors and instructions. Our host was Edward and he was pretty cool and acted well. Overall even though the games weren’t all similar to the actual Netflix show, there were some parts that felt very real and interesting. I recommend going with a group of people as it is more fun that way!

After waiting over an hour to be seated, despite multiple empty tables clearly available, we ultimately left without ever being served. The seating process is completely broken. Staff openly acknowledged they were understaffed and overwhelmed, yet there was no attempt to communicate a realistic wait time or manage the floor efficiently. Tables remained empty while guests with confirmed reservations stood around confused. Speaking with the manager was a waste of time. He showed zero interest in feedback or problem-solving, which reflects poorly on the overall leadership and training at this location. For a branded experience like Netflix Bites, this level of disorganization is unacceptable. The space looks great, but good design doesn’t excuse poor service, weak management, and wasted customer time. We were excited to try this place. Instead, we walked out. Comment: To be fair, the staff in the gift shop area — especially the cashiers at — deserve a separate 5-star review. They were friendly, attentive, and genuinely went above and beyond despite the overall chaos. Their professionalism stood out in an otherwise poorly managed experience.

I went on opening day in the middle of the day as a strategic move to be able to experience everything. Archie was the staffer I spoke with and asked many (many) questions and they were so kind in answering and just having a great human interaction. I spoke with lots of staff from the local employees and managers to an executive from the LA office who was there to help with the opening. There were a few small technical issues that were not the fault of anyone there, but the staff handled them all very well. The food was great, the selection in the gift shop was diverse, even with so much media being recorded, no one ever made the regular guests feel like they were in the way. We only did the Stranger Things experience. While I hoped for slightly more "interaction " in the search aspect of the town, the level of detail put into each area is actually really nice and I wish I had more time to enjoy it. Speaking of details, the photo ops and level of detail you can see around is actually amazing. The music playing in the restroom, the art of the walls lining the path to the restroom, the decree throne, the Derpy, the games crafted to various Netdlix IPs. I really love it. The pricing makes it slightly out of reach for more consistent visits compared to say, Dave and busters, but I would absolutely visit again based on my experience on that day. Please keep in mind you cannot take your food into the experiences, so I would strongly suggest eating AFTER you do them. That's the only aspect I wish was more highlighted at the time of our visit. Other than that, it was very fun.

Google
Went here to do the Squid Game attraction and Edward was amazing! It felt just like I was in the show. I had a blast and would recommend this for friends or family!! Across the attraction were 5 different squid game themed games including red light green light, this was fun and I was in the lead towards the end, unfortunately I lost to a 6 year old child however it was okay! Definitely recommend will be coming back!

Visiting Frisco from Upstate New York, my friend told me about the “Netflix House” and being a Netflix fan I was intrigued and excited to go! The displays were amazing! When I went it was super crowded, but I loved how there were two “courses” you could do (Stranger Things & Squid Game), an arcade, and themed bites. The were even good props for selfies and photos! Def recommend!

Yelp
Food was great and we loved the Netflix show references throughout the menu. Very cool experience for friends or family!

Yelp
This has got to be the future of what to do with large empty and unwanted mall spaces - fun immersive experiences. Netflix house has two immersive experiences to choose from (squid games and stranger things) as well as a store dedicated to merch from its most popular programs. After choosing a time slot (which can be achieved ahead of time online for less wait time) and your desired experience - you are placed in groups of 20'ish to be guided through about an hours worth of entertainment, games and fun. The level of detail in the decor is off the charts and the staff are on point about timely guiding you through while keeping the illusion of it being as real as possible. We choose the squid games experience and I was a little worried that it would be too complicated, adult or scary for my 11 year old but I needn't have. I would say that this option would be great for anyone over the age of 7'ish. Even my hard to please 19 year old deemed it a great family fun activity- high praise indeed!!! Only slight downside is the cost - at almost $40- $50 a person (depending on when you go) - this can be a little pricey for a family of 5!

Yelp
I'm probably not the target audience for this experience. If you're a tourist or a big Netflix superfan, you'll likely enjoy it but it just didn't land for me. When I arrived, it wasn't immediately clear what the space was supposed to be. I wandered around for a few minutes before finding an attendant. The venue was extremely crowded, with people stopping every few feet to take photos with the props. There are two immersive experiences on the first floor one themed around Squid Game and the other Stranger Things. Upstairs is a dining area serving food inspired by Netflix shows, along with a small game room and a merchandise shop. The merch focused mainly on top shows like Bridgerton and Stranger Things. Overall, I was underwhelmed. Even factoring in wait times, you could easily see and do everything in under an hour. That said, plenty of people were clearly excited running around, jumping at the chance to see props from their favorite shows and snapping photos. Would I go back? No. Would I recommend it to someone visiting or a die-hard Netflix fan? Sure.

Yelp
Netflix House Dallas! When I heard they were making a Netflix House in Dallas I was so excited and the entire experience did not disappoint. My favorite part of the experience: Escape The Dark- Stranger Things Experience Yes the line was long, kind of like I was waiting in a Disneyland line. I would say this is justified since the Netflix House is still new and we went on the weekend. We probably waited about 30 minutes after the designated time we chose to do this. Once inside of the experience, I would like to say the actors were great, each scene was done well with a lot of thought and overall was a fun thriller. We wanted to eat at Netflix Bites, which is something I have wanted to do since this restaurant was available in Vegas however once we entered the online queue, we waited over an hour still and ended up eating somewhere else. I will have to come back to experience the food. Average pricing is expected for drinks, around $18 a drink. I did not get a photo of this, however LOVED the Texas themed merch. I have a couple reasons to come back, and want to do the Squid Games Experience next time I go!

Yelp
While visiting Dallas I couldn't miss the opportunity to experience The Netflix House. We booked for the Stranger Things experience. While we waited, we chilled at the bar upstairs. There is also a restaurant up there as well. The Stranger Things experience was really cool. It was about 50 minutes worth of adventure, making you feel as if you were inside the show! I hope to return and try out Squid Games. I highly recommend visiting!

Yelp
2025 Yelp 100 Challenge- #72 Netflix House is a great Photo opt location with a merch stop on the top level and Squid Games and Stranger Things immersive experience on the lower level. My favorite is their merch section and the mini arcade. It's a great place to visit on a date, but be sure to book ahead. Minus 1 Star A lot of the games in Role Play were out of order. I did the Escape the Dark Stranger Things and the group sizes was entirely two large. There were about 40 people in our group and it did not make for a great experience.

Yelp
Oh what fun! I had the pleasure of going during opening week and had a blast! So the "house" has different experiences: squid games (downstairs), stranger things, a bar and restaurant, arcade/gaming area, and gift shop. We did the squid games experience which was totally immersive, surprisingly fun, and appropriate for a range of ages. The actors were great! The arcade area works like Main Event or D&B- buy a card and play until the tokens run out. And, of course, the games are based on Netflix shows. The restaurant/bar also has show-inspired cuisine. Nothing creative, but cutesy, overpriced things similar to Disney restaurants. Service was really bad on our visit, but I'll attribute that to opening week kinks. Hopefully things will improve as they find their groove. I had complimentary tickets so I have no clue what tickets cost. Anything over $40 would give me pause. You could honestly just visit the shop and walk around for free and still have a great experience. Definitely recommend for keeping kiddos entertained or a fun night out with friends.

Yelp
We first walked in and some of us spent sometime purchasing merch. Afterwards we ordered some food before checking out the play area. I enjoyed the show themed games, especially the dance machine filled with Demon hunters songs! We let the kids play and they had a blast but it's pricey for just one song play even though they passed! Disappointed that the convenience store was closed and Wednesday claw machine wasn't working. Long lines for stranger things and squid games rooms. Would've loved to check out the other rooms downstairs but the lines downstairs were even longer.
google avatar

Lana T.

Yelp
This place is really overcrowded on the weekend. We didn't try their games but inside it looks so cool from Stranger Things and Wednesday. It's so nicely done inside even with a food court upstairs. The games you would have to play like the escape the dark in Stranger Things and Squids Game but overall perfect for kids and family friendly. During the weekend it's challenging to find parking and it's so busy but there's no line to get in but by the ticket counter there is.

Yelp
12.20.25: Netflix house just opened on the 11th so I'm glad I got to check it out while everything is nice and new. They have several games to play, a restaurant (prepare for wait times) and tons of merch from various Netflix shows. Easily accessed from the inside of the mall. It was a good time!
google avatar

Becky G.

Yelp
We were on the waitlist to get seated all to discover they were out of pizza for the remainder of the day. Prices were outrageous! Not much of a selection after waiting over 25 minutes so we ended up leaving the table and eating at the food court in the mall. So disappointed. Set up of merch store, mini arcade and their on site food court looked cool though. Loved the themed atmosphere!

Yelp
The attention to detail is impressive, from the visuals and lighting to the sound and overall layout. It's easy to spend a couple of hours exploring, taking photos, and enjoying the different themed areas. The staff were friendly, organized, and helpful, making the experience smooth and enjoyable even when it got busy. Everything felt well-managed and safe, which is important for a popular attraction like this. Netflix House is great for groups, couples, or even solo visitors who just want to soak in the creativity. It's especially perfect for social media content and making fun memories with friends.

Yelp
I was so excited to bring my family of four to experience the Netflix House. We drove in from another Texas city, 5+ hours away and stayed at a hotel in the Galleria to be in close proximity to this experience. We arrived at the 10am opening and immediately learned that the Stranger Things AND Squid Games interactive games were sold out for the day, but tickets were available for the following day. Tickets are $40 and $46/47 per person, per game for a 55 minute experience. We explored two floors, arcade with 10-12ish games, took pictures and looked at the gift shop. They also have a restaurant that I figured we would eat at so I tried to look up the menu on the wall kiosk, but it only offered drinks to go. I asked an employee passing by where to find the menu for the restaurant and she directed me to the two hostess stands where one hostess was talking to a guest (these stands were not not obvious because they seem to be randomly placed in an open space outside the restaurant area). I went to the stand that was unmanned to find a menu and picked one up, but was quickly told "you are NOT ALLOWED to pick up a menu from the hostess stand" in an ugly tone. I said "o-k" but didn't understand why I'm being treated like a criminal when I just want to view the menu and spend money at the restaurant. I looked at the menu and then left because I certainly didn't have to eat there. Read the other reviews here on Yelp - the restaurant seems to be very hit or miss with terrible service (which I experienced without spending money for it). There are plenty of other restaurant options in the attached mall. It was such an unpleasant experience interacting with that hostess and left a terrible impression on me. I don't think I will return tomorrow to spend nearly $200 for our family to experience the interactive game. Overall, we thought there would spend a large part of the day and a good amount of money exploring the Netflix House, but it was pretty underwhelming and we did everything we could in about 30 minutes. Did we get some cool pictures? Yes, but it's not as great as the influencer videos make it seem.

Yelp
The worst experience it's a joke it's awful confusing and cheap props I did not understand completely I took a pic was reprimanded and then kicked out! The people are above all rude don't waste your time or money!'

Yelp
Surprised my daughter with a day trip to Netflix House on Saturday. I scheduled the 12:30 squid games experience and it was great! If you enjoy games, this one is a must! It lasts an hour and there are 5 games. Just because you're not in the lead, doesn't mean that things can't change at the end. It's family friendly and even a great date night activity. The only issue was there was no tissue in the restroom stall and there are only 2 gender neutral restrooms downstairs, but I'd like to return and try the stranger things experience.
google avatar

Yelp
About 55/person for the cheapest one hour game experience (squid games where you play 5 competitve games for 60 min). There is a walk through restaurant with bar. I heard from others the food was great. Service is slow and a tad confusing on if you seat yourself vs host and where the host stand is. A club sandwhich was $19, chicken wings and waffles was $24, hot herbal tea $5 (great quality). $10 for 40 arcade tickets (that run out fast bc the games are short). Took 15 min for 2 people. I say maybe play $10 worth of games if you must but the arcade is not as great as it looks once you actually play them and you cant play games side by side with someone- only one at a time which was odd. The other machine will literally not allow you to play while someone else is using the other machine. Fantastic job at bringing famous netflix shows "to life" with appealing aesthetics. Maybe they are over charging to recoup the insane amount of money I'd imagine was spent to create because they went ALL OUT with decor, etc. It is cool to go there even just to look around but seems overpriced to me.

Yelp
It's cute, it makes it look bigger in the advertisement. Food service was terrible. They didn't really know who their customers are and it took forever. The food is mediocre and very greasy. It's kinda like main event but less, it's nice to see the shows combine though. Had to ask for my water to get refilled and at first she "kiddingly" said no and then got my water. Had to ask for my waitress, they had to find her, and had to ask for the check. It's cute for kids and all but that's about it.

Kimberly W.

Yelp
Obnoxiously packed. Most of the staff, especially the bartenders, were rude. Super long wait for anything at Netflix bites. Disregard the time slot you purchase for experiences because you will be waiting in line for a long time anyway. Could be fun but I didn't expect to wait in line an hour past our time slot. After waiting in line for squid games, an hour inside squid games standing, and then waiting in line again for an hour for stranger things we were too miserable to be excited for the room.

Amber ..

Yelp
Netflix House was just okay overall. The concept itself is interesting and it was definitely an experience, but unfortunately the execution didn't fully live up to the hype. What really took away from the visit was our host. I understand that some of the staff may be encouraged to have a "mean" or sarcastic persona as part of the entertainment and in keeping with the Squid Games theme, but there's a big difference between fun mean and unpleasant mean. In this case, it felt more nasty than playful, which made the experience uncomfortable rather than enjoyable. Because of that, I wouldn't return, but I can say I'm glad I experienced it once. With a different approach to guest interaction, this could be much more enjoyable.
google avatar

Sara S.

Yelp
I'm sure this is a different strokes for different folks thing, but personally, this was just the lamest, most annoying "experience" one could be overcharged for. Not sure what I was expecting, but it wasn't this. I don't really know how to properly describe what the thing is even after going to it. Just a complete waste of time, to be honest. We did the Stranger Things experience and from the over acting, to the lack of any kind of escape and all the flashing lights - it was just all incredibly... pointless.

Jess O.

Yelp
Could be much better. Your timed entry means nothing. We showed up early as noted on the ticket instructions and stood in line for an hour. I expected entry time groups to be managed and admitted close to booking time. For Squid Games: Skill does not matter and a couple of the games which rely on an electronic element are glitchy. It would be fun with a large group of people you know. I found some people in our group did not listen to instructions well and noted others in line with babies (this is not an experience for your baby). Overall, I think I would be much more likely to return if the timed entry was observed. Standing in line for so long has me in a negative mood about the whole experience.
google avatar

Jim M.

Yelp
They can improve on customer service. One employee at the bar was extremely rude. I never got a chance to order a drink and we left after spending several hundred dollars on attractions. Can't recommend.

Maya R.

Yelp
Come for the games, not the food. The food is so bad! Do not eat here! And the service was terrible. We were stuck at our table waiting to pay for like 45 minutes. I told the host that we hadn't payed yet because our server hasn't checked on us since she brought us our drinks. A different server brought us our food. She was taking care of every other table except us and then just standing there. I get that it's a new place and some are probably training but still. It was very irritating. The food we got was not good and our group all got sick after eating. However... the games were really fun, we played the squid games and would honestly go back for that experience. That is the only reason I'm not giving this a 1 star...

Yelp
So it's mostly a interactive experience with escape rooms a arcade and pretty awesome theming to different Netflix shows this is before Warner bros buys Netflix . There's even a really cool arcade here . Also there's food which is half good half bad . The only thing is when it comes to these interactive experiences there not the best especially Netflix and there IPs like yea stranger things and stuff is cool . But not enough to stay strong in 5 years from now . The staff here there chill but don't have any personality's to em . Also the prices here to get a ticket for the day will definitely cost ya a lot of money and ain't worth it . Overall maybe come here once and you will probably forget about it . Honestly this place probably won't last long since all of the popular shows and movies theming wise here are almost gone on Netflix .

Christian R.

Yelp
It was a great unique Stranger Things experience we enjoyed but for the price of $49 per person it would have been better to have more prompt ticket reservation times (we started about half an hour after our ticket time) and personally experience it more rather than the group format. With the volume of participants I know this is probably not too feasible but for the price I would prefer more time exploring with myself or group as it kind of felt rushed. Could have better format, but overall I would still recommend to fans.

Maddox M.

Yelp
What a phenomenal experience!! Got to preview both experiences and absolutely worth it!!!!! Come here. For the day!! Leave with a new appreciation for Netflix and these amazing actors!!! Thank you for being an experience that made memories for a lifetime!!
