I went on opening day in the middle of the day as a strategic move to be able to experience everything. Archie was the staffer I spoke with and asked many (many) questions and they were so kind in answering and just having a great human interaction. I spoke with lots of staff from the local employees and managers to an executive from the LA office who was there to help with the opening. There were a few small technical issues that were not the fault of anyone there, but the staff handled them all very well. The food was great, the selection in the gift shop was diverse, even with so much media being recorded, no one ever made the regular guests feel like they were in the way. We only did the Stranger Things experience. While I hoped for slightly more "interaction " in the search aspect of the town, the level of detail put into each area is actually really nice and I wish I had more time to enjoy it.
Speaking of details, the photo ops and level of detail you can see around is actually amazing. The music playing in the restroom, the art of the walls lining the path to the restroom, the decree throne, the Derpy, the games crafted to various Netdlix IPs. I really love it. The pricing makes it slightly out of reach for more consistent visits compared to say, Dave and busters, but I would absolutely visit again based on my experience on that day.
Please keep in mind you cannot take your food into the experiences, so I would strongly suggest eating AFTER you do them. That's the only aspect I wish was more highlighted at the time of our visit. Other than that, it was very fun.
