Friendly and attentive staff. In a 1920 well restored hotel lobby restaurant, very welcoming and cozy space inspire of the scale. Good flat white, delicious Lobster Benedict and Tuscan Benedict. Eggs were a tad overdone a e not runny. But the flavors were excellent. The kitchen might have been overwhelm since this was on NYE and the wait for a table was extensive, the kitchen extended breakfast hours well past the 11 cur off time. Can't wait to being friends for brunch.

Wow!!! The first thing you notice is how beautiful the high ceilings are and how lovely everything is decorated. It doesn’t feel stuffy, just very nice. It’s a lowkey elegant place to go even if you’re not a guest at the hotel. The second thing you notice is how incredibly happy the staff seem to be to work there. Everybody is so friendly and inviting. We decided to come here for our anniversary. Claire remembered us from being at the bar in the morning! She greeted us with a warm smile and was beyond helpful in making sure we got the best table in the restaurant - and also making sure the waiter comped our dessert. Then Mario, our server extended the generosity and offered us two free drinks without a second thought. He was so attentive and helpful all night. Every person who stopped by our table made us feel special and welcome - whether they knew it was our anniversary or not. Lastly, THE FOOD. Oh. My. Goodness. Even what may seem like a common or simple dish was out of this world. We had the bone marrow to start. It came with delicious bread and we were smiling from ear to ear from the flavors. Then we had tagliatelle bolognese and eggplant parmigiana. The bolognese was made with fresh house-made pasta which seemed like it melted in our mouths. I don’t know what kind of olive oil they used, or how they made the eggplant texture so perfect, but the eggplant parm was our favorite dish. We almost licked the plates clean! The tiramisu came last and it was the absolute best I’ve ever had. The coffee flavor was amazing. I was so stuffed by then, but we still ate every last crumb. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience - I’m sure we will be back! I don’t want to write a whole separate review for their breakfast/brunch, but we did have the lobster eggs Benedict (sooooooo good - PACKED with fresh, perfectly-cooked lobster) and the Greek yogurt and fruit. The yogurt was decadent and whipped and the fruit was fresh and sweet. Francisco behind the bar was so kind - and also comped our brunch drinks when he found out we were celebrating!! 💕

Food was a acceptable. Focaccia was dry and not flavorful. Salad was ok some leaves were oxidized. dressing on the tangier side. Fingerling potatoes were ok. Some crunchy others not fully cooked. Burger standard taste. The mushroom squash gnocchi was however excellent. That would be one to recommend.

As I will be staying at the hotel in December I wanted to go trial the restaurant. After valeting my vehicle, I checked in with my reservation and was told it would be a 10 minute wait which was the first sign something was wrong. The check-in host was also cleaning and setting the tables. When we finally sat we had a friendly server but unfortunately that’s where it all went downhill. Apparently the kitchen staff was mixing up tickets for in room dining and the restaurant and the food took a very very long time to come out. My latte was not good, but I drank it. My poor server gave us comp juice, comp coffee refills, bread with jam and butter, to tide us over. Unfortunately our dishes were not fully clean and had food on them. The whole restaurant was understaffed and I felt so bad. When our food finally arrived, it was awful. No better than iHop quality for double the price. I barely ate any of it - the French toast was not crispy and lacked flavor. Our duck egg has barely had duck and the hash nuggets looked like they were from frozen - not even fresh cooked potatoes. I absolutely would never eat here again. Overall it gave me a poor impression of the hotel as there were other issues aside from the restaurant (10+ minute valet wait - also understaffed), and more.

Got duck hash for breakfast, which was pretty good. Another day, I got an egg white omelette and a juice. The omelette was good, but take a look at my picture -- the juice looks like someone drank half of it!

It's my Birthday week, and my good friend took me here yesterday for my Brunch. You know how I love music, this place had a fantastic station on. We had the deviled eggs to begin with and a Mimosa to begin..., then followed it up with my traditional order of Eggs Benedict with bacon, it was tasty and served on focaccia - special shout out for the Breakfast potatoes!! TASTE-T! My friend had the California Scramble, and we are both foodies and loved every morsel of our dishes. Chris was our server, and he was a breath of fresh air and handled that entire area like an attentive PRO, never missed a beat. The $10.00 Valet (for four hours) was enough for us to gush over, too LOL Do yourself a favor and have a Lemon Drop Martini, you will thank me later (wink, wink). Respectfully Reviewed.

Excellent Christmas season dining experience at the Fairmont Breakers Long Beach, Nettuno Restaurant. From the moment we arrived, the experience was exceptional. The valet greeted us promptly and opened our door, setting the tone for the evening. We were then warmly and cheerfully welcomed by Clare, the host, whose hospitality immediately made us feel at home. The restaurant’s Food and Beverage Manager, Jameson Kimball, thoughtfully arranged everything for our group of four, ensuring a seamless and elevated dining experience. Our evening was further enhanced by our outstanding waitress, Dallas, who attended to us with such care and attentiveness that we felt like her only table. The lost art of fine dining was truly revived by the floor assistance backup staff. Mervin and Javier exemplified refined service through their impeccable attention to detail and graceful support of Dallas throughout the evening. Their professionalism and execution elevated the entire experience. The food was exquisite. I thoroughly enjoyed the bone-in veal delicacy, which was prepared to perfection. We were also honored when the chef personally brought out one of our entrées, a gesture that made the evening even more special. A heartfelt thank you to the General Manager, Ms. Ashley, for cultivating such an exceptional team. Dining at Nettuno was truly an experience of refined elegance and outstanding hospitality. Thank you, Fred Javier Gonzalez

Room for improvement. The star here is the food! Everything was top notch. We started with the brunch board, which had a great selection of meats, olives, and focaccia. The deviled eggs were a nice touch. Standard sort of fair, but executed very well. I had the eggs in purgatory, which seemed to be an Italian version of shakshuka. Well balanced with the eggs and a little heat from the Calabrian chili. The Lemon Ricotta Pancakes were declared "the best pancakes I've ever had," which is saying something! Great textures and the lemon flavor delicate and not overpowering. Lobster Benedict had ample lobster, great flavors and a brilliant sauce. And the breakfast potatoes were crispy on the outside and amazingly fluffy inside. For a simple potato, they were cooked to perfection. Service on the other hand was very inconsistent. Up till we ordered, we felt very well looked after. Then we didn't see our server again for nearly the entire meal. They forgot my potatoes and no one checked to see how we were doing, so we had to chase down someone to help us...who turned out to be the manager. My water glass remained empty nearly the entire meal (I was Designated Driver, so that was all I was drinking). And while their cocktail selection was great and tasty, they missed out on at least one more round by just not checking on us. And, we were celebrating a birthday, so special occasions don't seem to really matter to them. Food, of course, is the main reason to go to a restaurant and they nailed it. And service is extremely important also and this was a miss. Glad I went this one time. One-and-done. Would not go back.

Yelp
Most interesting hotel with a throw back history ! Movie stars go to place . Amenities include early checkin and late check out. Italian menu was diverse as daily meals are to explore.

Yelp
Went there with the wife for dinner. It was raining so we valet parked ($10 for 4 hours which I consider reasonable). The restaurant is on the ground floor of the hotel and is really beautiful. Besides Nettuno restaurant, there are a couple of bars, each of which is well worth a separate visit. The service was gracious. The food on the other hand was typical of hotel restaurants who take advantage of their captive audience. We split the burrata and figs dish with added prosciutto. The burrata was not the usual buttery cheese but was fairly tasteless. The prosciutto and figs were ok but the whole dish was decidedly on the small side for $28. I had their spaghetti carbonara. Unfortunately it was the usual spaghetti in cream sauce with a few lardons. None of that eggy flavor I expect from a proper carbonara. It tasted ok but was disappointing. My wife had their squid ink pasta with seafood. She said it was ok but quite salty. We thought about dessert but skipped it. We were glad we went and had a comfortable evening out. We might visit the bars someday if we were meeting others downtown but there's no reason to visit the restaurant again.

Yelp
My wife and I had a very nice lunch at Nettuno on xmas day. We had cocktails at the bar first, shared a burrata appetizer, and then I had the eggplant parmigiana and my wife had the mushroom gnocchi. We both loved our entrees, and for dessert we shared a lemon tart that was refreshing and rich. Nettuno is a good Italian restaurant at the Fairmont Breakers Hotel. If you're staying there or in the downtown area, I'd definitely recommend it.

Yelp
Delicious flat whites. Wonderful breakfast and the only thing I would say that we didn't like is that the eggs were hard poached and not soft poached on our Benedicts and the piece of tomato in the lobster Benedict was bigger than the lobster. Still it was an amazing experience. The staff were phenomenal and this might be a place where I would go for breakfast or even a coffee if I'm walking by.

Yelp
What a beautiful, historic piece of Long Beach! I'm originally from LB but had never been to the Breakers Hotel. So excited to get to stay there and try out the bars and restaurants. We visited Nettuno on Sunday at noon for brunch. I totally forgot to make a reservation so we ended up waiting about 20 minutes. They do serve full brunch at the bar so we were offered that option instead of waiting for the main restaurant area. Gorgeous and comfy. Its an open concept type restaurant where they use plants/trees to divide off the lobby lounge area. We really enjoyed the art, the lighting, the architecture, all of it. Our server was excellent, always checked on us and let us know the status of our order. We got the greek yogurt with berries, the bacon, and the brunch burger with fries. Also had a Michelada, which was so tasty! Food was good, smaller portions than I am used to seeing but delicious and fairly priced. The service and setting are the stars here at Nettuno.

Yelp
Great food at a beautiful hotel! Usually hotel restaurants aren't a destination, but Nettuno definitely is! I'd come here for brunch again in a minute! We shared 3 items and each of them was delicious! We started with the smoked salmon on toast, which sounds simple but had tons of flavor due to the chive mascarpone spread, capers, dill, and thinly sliced purple onions. Then we had the lemon ricotta pancakes which were topped with orange marmalade and creme fraiche which was soooo good. We finished with the eggs benedict which had a great hollandaise sauce and perfectly poached high quality eggs. Def check this place out!

Yelp
We came in as a family on a Saturday for brunch to celebrate our 8 yrs wedding anniversary. We wanted to see the newly remodeled hotel after hearing lovely things about it. Unfortunately, felt it was missed by the staff all around. While polite, our server took a while to greet us. Took some time to ask for plasticware for our little ones. I was a little disappointed that they didn't acknowledge our celebration, being that it was the only thing we had planned since we have littles. I will say that the lemon ricotta pancakes were really good; kale Ceasar salad portion was small for $18 (plus $ 14 for the grilled chicken, slightly dry). My husband did enjoy the brunch burger at least. I was hoping for option on the regular lunch menu aside from the Saturday & Sunday Brunch menu, but they don't offer that. Only the weekend brunch menu is available.

Yelp
This place has nice ambiance/ vibes (I loved the decor and menu). The food was decent but nothing note worthy. The service was also weird. For some reason our waiter came to our table every 5 minutes, not to check on us, but to try to scoot us out. He only did this to our table. He also expected us to tip right there at the table. Overall, the service was enough to make me not want to come back. It's sad because it was otherwise cute.

Yelp
The service in the ambience was really great. Our breakfast was really good. They have a good breakfast deal. The only thing was is the coffee wasn't hot when I got it and also they forgot our orange juice with our order. Overall, we were well taken care of would come back.

Yelp
Beautiful space. Beautiful decor. Marble tables. Breakfast was always good. I tried avocado toast and smoked salmon toast which were great. The French toast was average and dry. I had dinner here a few times. Steak was good amount of meat but didn't taste flavorful. Ceasar salad was ok, nothing special. I tried the focaccia bread thinking it will be warm and crunchy and it wasn't worth it. I tried tuna crudo and it was a large portion of fish and it was ok. I do think if you eat it alone it was too much and only order in a large group. I tried branzino and I think this is bay far the best dish I tried so far. Fish was cooked to perfection but sides are not filling so I had to order something else also. Cacio and Pepe pasta also was average. So far my rating for this place is 4/5

Yelp
3.5 Stars This is a hotel lobby restaurant with a pretty atmosphere and although they charge the prices of a standalone fine restaurant, I found the food and experience average. We ordered the focaccia and prosciutto to start, and then I had the tagliatelle bolognese - all decent, but nothing to write home about. Although we were one of the few diners during lunchtime, service was slow, and we waited quite a long time for our food to arrive.

Yelp
The decor was lovely. Vintage modern. My sister had the artichoke brown butter pasta that she enjoyed along with the lemon drop cocktail. Sweet and delicious. I got the Caesar salad with chicken. It was okay. The chicken was a little overcooked and chewy. We tried to tiramisu which was very delicious. However, our server was not attentive at all. She took our order and we didn't see her again until we asked about dessert. The chef was the one who came over when we had our empty plates sitting there to clear them and asked how everything was. And Javier who was a food runner made sure our waters were full and checked on us several times. We weren't asked if we wanted refills on our drinks. While we did have empty plates and drinks I observed other tables being taken care of by very attentive other servers and engaging in conversation. The chef was making rounds and a woman who appeared to be the GM stopped at a couple of tables to chat. Overall, a beautiful hotel but considering they knew we were celebrating my sister's birthday, let alone just there for dinner, the service was less than stellar.

Yelp
While taking a stroll to find a new place for dinner, we decided to stop in at the Fairmont Breakers Long Beach and go over our options while we had a couple cocktails. We haven't been back since their renovation and WOW! They did a beautiful job! We were warmly greeted by the valet staff and made our way to the bar in the lobby. The bar had 4 patrons and ample seating. We made ourselves comfortable at one of the tables with a luxurious couch and swivel chair. After a few French 75's and Old Fashioneds, we decided to stay for dinner at Nettuno, which happened to be across from the bar. Dallas was our server. She was so charming and personable. She had excellent recommendations which we took her up on. Spuntini Mortadella - $10 Marinated Olives - $8 Secondi Prime Creekstone Ribeye (18 Oz) - $130 Branzino all'Acqua Pazza - $38 After dinner, I was craving an Affogato and Dallas said she can have one made. That made my night! It was the perfect end to the most delicious dinner that we've had in a long time! Thank you, Dallas for a memorable dinner. We will undoubtedly be back!

Yelp
Food and drinks were spectacular. It's inside the Fairmont which is one of my favorite, it's clean and smells good right when you walk in. Our server that evening was so fun and so helpful.

Yelp
I've been to Nettuno a few times since it opened, and it's always such a refined, high-class experience -- yet the prices remain reasonable. I love the look and feel of the dining areas, and the staff is consistently friendly and knowledgeable. Most importantly, the food is absolutely delicious. The only area that could use improvement is how the restaurant handles food allergies. They do an excellent job of asking about allergies -- and they ask more than once -- but that alone doesn't always prevent exposure to allergens. The menu doesn't clearly list all the ingredients in each dish, which can be risky for guests with dietary restrictions. For example, I once ordered ravioli that unexpectedly came with pistachios. Neither the waitress nor I knew they were included, even though I had thoroughly communicated my nut allergy to multiple staff members. While the restaurant immediately removed the dish and comped the meal, I still had to wait and watch my table eat before my new order arrived. If the menu isn't going to be more detailed, it's crucial that the staff remains especially vigilant. That kind of oversight could easily have been dangerous -- and it's an issue worth addressing in an otherwise exceptional dining experience

Yelp
My room is not ready so I went to get something to eat. Arrived at 1PM, no reception for 5 minutes, I waited. I wanted pasta, but since it's Sunday, only breakfast menu available, so I ordered avocado toast. Toasts are cold, and edges are too hard to cut it........ very disappointed. Then I tried dinner, I had the truffle pasta and It's great! Tiramisu is awesome!

Yelp
If you're looking to dine at the Breakers Hotel and want to break the bank slightly less than dining at the Sky Room, Nettuno is the way to go. Although it's situated in the lobby, the decor is gorgeous and it still feels like a fancy night out. Staff is professional and attentive. The food is really the star here. The menu is Italian and you can tell that all of the dishes are carefully crafted. The pasta is fresh and the sauces are developed. Everything from the fish to the pasta carbonara were perfectly executed.

Yelp
This place for brunch checked all boxes. The food was delightful, the service was excellent. Júlio and Mario were personable, professional, attentive and provided great recommendations. We asked if Chef Giuseppe was working today, and they made sure he came by for his usual hug and Italian kisses to say "hello". It's been over a year since we last saw him at Michael's on the Promenade just before they closed. We sure missed him! The ambiance, well it was the Fairmont after all; beautiful architect, elegant and fancy. The Tuscan Duck Confit Hash, Avocado Toast with poached eggs, and chicken apple sausage were so many things all at once; savory, perfect blend of flavors, texture on point and absolutely delicious. The rose brut was the perfect pair for brunch. And to finish off our perfect meal, a cup of drip coffee with chocolate semifreddo and pistachios. Can't wait to come back for dinner! Gratzi Chef Giuseppe and team...until next time.

Yelp
The Ambiance was modern and beautiful. The food was amazing. The service was good. The bartender switched the alcohol in our drinks so we had to get a new drink. But the service was very nice still.

Yelp
The space is beautiful. What a gem to have a Fairmont and a Nettuno in LB. The host service was fantastic. He called and left a voice mail to confirm and it was a really nice personal touch. Classy. The restaurant is split into two spaces. The main room which is light and spacious and lovely; then the back room which is darker and sexy and quiet. We were regulars at Michael's in downtown and were sad to see it go. So how thrilled were we to see some of their staff at Nettuno -- along with their chef! We ordered the branzino and the prime filet. There was a bit of discomfort around making sure it was gluten and dairy free for my food allergies with our server but we were able to find someone who understood the gravity of the situation and confirmed our order was safe. The filet was a touch overcooked but the olive oil mash was fantastic! I'd come back just for the mash. The branzino was nice although I think we both prefer the lemon and EVOO version over tomato and peppers. We also had the broccolini which was divine, cooked perfectly and seasoned well. We live nearby and love the space and the people so will definitely return. I'd try something else next time. Perhaps they will have more items that can be adjusted for food allergies in the future.

Yelp
Had a recent business lunch at Nettuno in Long Beach and overall it was a great experience. The ambiance is warm and welcoming, perfect for a work meeting or casual lunch. Service was attentive without being overbearing, and the food was consistently solid. We went with the prefix lunch since the menu options weren't as robust as I would've liked, but what we did try was excellent. The burrata appetizer was a standout and set a nice tone for the meal. Everything was well-prepared and nicely presented. The only reason I'm holding back from 5 stars is that it takes a truly mind-blowing experience for me to go there,,, but this was very close. I'd love to see the menu expanded with a bit more variety. All in all, a very good spot that I'll be returning to.

Yelp
Heard about the newly renovated Fairmont Breakers and had to check it out while I was in town. Close location to my brother's place so I tried the Sunday brunch and dinner for dine out Long Beach restaurant & cocktail week. Beautiful and lovely restaurant on the lobby floor. I enjoyed both brunch and dinner. For Sunday brunch, my friend and I shared everything. We ordered the lemon ricotta pancakes, avocado toast with egg, side of crispy breakfast potatoes, and panna cotta alle fragole for dessert. Service was great and food was flavorful and filling. For dinner, my friend and I tried the dine out Long Beach restaurant & cocktail week menu for $60. The service was very slow, it was extremely busy and it seemed our server was the only one available waiting on the tables. It was nice that the manager comped us on the wine since we waited awhile and the wine we ordered was not available. The food and portions were great. We really enjoyed the food especially the bucatini cacio e pepe, tagliatelle bolognese, and branzino. I was celebrating my friend's birthday and was disappointed that they knew and forgot to add a candle to the dessert. I even mentioned it as a note on the reservation and the host and server also said happy birthday to my friend. The semifreddo al cioccolato e pistacchio dessert was amazing and I would order it again. I would definitely come back and try everything else on the menu! Hopefully service during dinner would get better by then!

Yelp
Amazing. Often times when you think of a restaurant in the hotel, you think it would be basic, cookie cutter hotel-y but Nettuno was completely the opposite. The restaurant is located in historic building, at Fairmont Breakers in Long Beach. It was on the lobby floor and overflowed into the lobby and lobby bar. Which was interesting. The decoration and plate-ware were chic. There was a mix of hotel guests and locals from the area. Both in casual wear and bow ties (literally). Great for date night, celebration or just an evening in the hotel. All items we ordered were tasteful! Chef did a good job with the menu. 10/10 for all items! Can't wait to go back. Definitely spreading the word to all to visit and check Nettuno out!

Yelp
Mediocre all the way around. Service is friendly, but also extremely slow and inefficient. We saw a lot of food going back from other tables and we djd not finish anything we ordered. In particular, the focaccia was stale and horrible, and after waiting 45 min for spaghetti carbonara to show up, it was over salted and greasy. The server did not ask how any of the food was and barely checked on the table. We also ate breakfast as we were on a stay that included dinner and breakfast credits. The pancakes were okay, but avoid the French toast at all costs. They were strangely seasoned (cloves? Something other than just cinnamon) and grossly soggy. We didn't have time to wait for anything else, but I wouldn't have trusted a better experience even if we had. Will not be back.

Yelp
From the moment we arrived, the service at Nettuno was exceptional. The valet team greeted us with warmth and humor, setting a fun, welcoming tone for the evening. They were kind, professional, and clearly enjoyed their work, which made the start of our night feel special. Though we were running a bit late for our 5 p.m. reservation, Niesha and Treanna (spell check) from customer service made sure to notify the restaurant on our behalf, handling everything with ease and professionalism. When we arrived, Sam, the host, welcomed us with a calm demeanor and invited us to enjoy a cocktail at any of their bars while we waited for our table. This thoughtful gesture immediately put us at ease and set a relaxed tone for the evening ahead. We headed to Alter Ego, where we were greeted by Yani--an absolute ray of sunshine. Her positive energy was contagious, and she made fantastic recommendations, mixing us a delicious dirty martini and a perfectly crafted classic Manhattan. Back at Nettuno, Sam promptly seated us, and our server, Julio, took over. Julio was a standout--personable, attentive, and genuinely invested in making sure we had a great dining experience. He took the time to ask about our tastes and guided us expertly through the menu, ensuring each course was perfectly paced. Knowing we'd just come from a round of golf, he even surprised us with an affogato to cap off our meal--such a thoughtful touch that showed his attention to detail. Every member of the team--from valet to customer service, Sam, Yani, and Julio--made our experience feel top-notch, lA1 like the sauce! P.S. The Branzino and Oxtail are must-tries!

Yelp
Dinner at the Breakers fairmont hotel in Long Beach was a pleasant surprise and delicious! We had a cocktail and the filet. I could have cut the filet with a butter knife it was so tender. The cocktail was a delicious recommendation from our waitress. Top notch service and a beautiful dining area.

Yelp
The chef is so talented! He makes the most delicious and eye pleasing food. Everything is from scratch with local and the best ingredients. The Restuarant is so beautiful you can spend the whole time looking around at everything til the food pulls you back in. The servers are super friendly and attentive. We ate their 2 separate times but I can't wait to go back to try more of the menu.

First of all very good food, not cheap, but very good. Had a range of unique and interesting options, including quail, for an appetizer which was good. Had a branzino dish as well very tasty. For a restaurant in the lobby of a hotel it was attempting fine dining status but where we sat it felt like we were in the lobby. The lobby is very nice but still you don't expect to pay those prices in a hotel lobby. Our server spoke incredibly rapidly and quietly so it was hard to understand what they were saying. They were attentive and quick though and when asked definitely had strong opinions about the food clearly well trained and seemed like they had tasted the seasons selections. The acoustics in the lobby are quite loud just like the upstairs bar, so many hard surfaces so while it tries to give an intimate feeling it does not succeed.

Yelp
The service was great. The decor is awesome. The food is mediocre. We had the focaccia, and then tried the lobster risotto, ravioli and the gnudi. The risotto and ravioli were excellent but the gnudi was too buttery and bland. For the price, I don't think that it is worth it.

Yelp
I went back because the pasta kept occupying my dreams. I had gone to Sky Room initially to try out a different restaurant at this refurbished hotel, but found the food and service to be lacking so I paid the check then went downstairs to make my taste bud dreams come true for a second time. This time I had the spaghetti carbonara and a chocolate pistachio dessert. I'm not a sweets person and though their tiramisu is wonderful, this dessert was balanced and well executed but not for me. However, I need to come with friends next time and convince them to have this carbonara and bucatini so I can cry in joy over bites of their food while I try yet another new dish. Come and try it out and be pleased with everything - especially the service and pricing! But note that the booths are soft and you sink to an annoying level for the table height.

Yelp
I really hate to take a star away, but my husband and I went for another date night here and the food was not as good. The service is still impeccable! Everything runs incredibly smoothly. But we ordered the exact same dishes as we had 7 months ago, and they changed. My seafood pasta had less seafood (my apologies for not taking an updated picture) and the chili was basically nonexistent, I had to ask for chili flakes to spice it up. Did somebody complain about it being too spicy so they toned it down?? Please don't! It lists "chilli" right on the menu, people should know what they are ordering. My husband still enjoyed his veal but the side salad was super vinegar-y and neither of us could eat it. I really wanted to make this one of our go-to date night spots but with the competition of other nearby Italian restaurants, I'm not sure that'll happen any more.

Yelp
What a beautiful restaurant! From the art on the walls to the beautiful tableware, exquisite! The prices are on the heavy side, bc you have to pay for that luxury....but I loved it! The Alter Ego is also exceptional....just breathtaking beautiful! I'll pay for that $25 martini to sit in elegance. The service was as exceptional as the environment. The manager came up to us and asked how our experience was and we had nothing but good things to say about it. And then we had our nightcap at Halo! WOW! I didn't think it could get better!!!! They have plate glass walls so there is NO obstructed views of LB. The nights were twinkling on the crisp winter night and you could see it all. The drinks were phenomenal as well as the food. Valet is 4 hrs for $10 and then $10 thereafter. $50/nt....I can only imagine how gorgeous the rooms are! This was done right ....elegance at its best!

Yelp
We had an amazing experience here. We stumbled across Nettuno on a Friday night and didn't expect much as it was in the lobby of a hotel. We had the Dine LA pre fix menu, and everything was really delicious. We started out with calamari and the arugula salad. My partner and I both had filet mignon, we both wanted it cooked differently, and both came out at the same time each cooked to perfection. For dessert we had panna cotta and tiramisu. I don't have a big sweet tooth but tiramisu is my favorite, and this was the best tiramisu I've had at any restaurant here. The consistency of the panna cotta was also perfect. They didn't have a wine pairing listed on the menu but we asked if they were able to do that, and they happily accommodated our request. The sommelier came out and checked in with us, the flavor pairings were right on point. At the end, we wanted to end the night with a cocktail and he recommended a Negroni. I normally don't like them so we ordered one to share. They brought it already split into two glasses for us, and it was really tasty, I'm so glad I got to try it! Also to note, the presentation of everything was fantastic, we got the appropriate fresh wine glasses for each tasting. While we were checking in and throughout, every staff member who walked by acknowledged us, was friendly and didn't seem to be put out by their work so we enjoyed the ambiance too. I highly recommend Nettuno and can't wait to go back.

Yelp
Lovely ambiance in the foyer of the Breaker's hotel. However, I was slightly disappointed by the experience. This visit was marred by slow & disjointed service at lunch time, and food that left much to be desired. They did offer a consolatory dessert, and the tiramisu was very good! I do hope to return to the Breaker's hotel to check out Sky Room.

Yelp
Atmosphere was great, wine was good, food however was not "authentic" and was not very good. Their focaccia bread was good, but the pasta dishes all seemed to have red sauce in them when they shouldn't have, like the carbonara (they said it was because of the eggs) but overall of the 5 of us, none of us liked our dishes. Their focaccia bread server was nice, but I think she was just trying to sell that the chef was from Italy and it was authentic. But as someone that has spent a combined 6 weeks in Italy eating a lot of food, I would disagree with the authentic aspect.

Yelp
This place is such a hidden gem. I just came here for the first time to celebrate my birthday and it did not disappoint. I was surprised it is in the lobby area of the fairmont breaker. We were greeted and sat immediately. Service was good and the drinks were deliciously crafted . I ordered a frutta spritz and it was super refreshing . I will say the place is pricey but I think the food and vibes are worth it. I'm excited to come back and try another dish. I loved the Burrata but my husband was not impressed with his meal. All in all we still had a great time.

Yelp
We came here during the Dine out Long Beach week. The menu was scarce. Unfortunately they were out of the appetizer that I wanted, the Zucchini Blossom. However, we got a refreshing Salad Caprese instead. The Tagliatelle Bolognese was well prepared and flavorful. We ordered as dessert the Tiramisu.

Yelp
This beautifully decorated Italian restaurant in the newly renovated Fairmont Breakers hotel was fabulous! From the moment we were greeted by the friendly staff we knew we were in for an excellent culinary experience. The server guided us well and we ordered mount watering focaccia as an appetizer, the softest focaccia I have ever had. For mains we had the oxtail stew and branzino. The oxtail was very rich, creamy and tasty with the meat off the bone. The branzino was delicate and flavorful. For dessert we shared the strawberry pannacotta. The executive chef even came around and greeted us.

Yelp
Ambiance and decor is really nice but in terms of the food....nothing to rave about. We ordered the following: Carpaccio di Manzo (5/5 this was my favorite out of the rest) Tagliatelle Bolognese (2/5 lacks flavor, tasted like canned ground beef) Tagliolini alla Grabseola (3.5/5 pretty heavy in seafood flavoring if you're into that. I'd order this over the bolognese, but I'm a seafood lover) Branzino (4/5 fish cooked perfectly and the sauce was delightful) Also, all the cocktails we got were all made pretty strong, so that's one solid point. Overall, the places decor, service, and vibes were great but i wouldn't go back for the food. For the price, there are endless of better options.

Yelp
Beautiful hotel, great service, great food & drinks. -minestrone verde-- simple and delicious if you're in the mood for a light soup -gamberi alla griglia-- perfectly cooked and delicious -pollo al funghi-- favorite dish; mushroom forward, not heavy, juicy chicken -tagliollini alla granseola-- delicious if you're into seafood but tasted very seafoody so hard to go back to after eating the chicken. Delicious crab chunks in the sauce though -tiramisu-- mouthwatering

Yelp
I was excited to come check out this new upscale restaurant in Long Beach but was somewhat let down. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. I started at the Sky Room for a drink and app. The Garden Vesper was light and refreshing. It didn't pack that martini punch I was looking for. The rolls were good but not fresh. I did enjoy the banana bread old fashioned which was light, sweet and refreshing. But it wasn't giving "old fashioned". Dinner at Nettuno was just okay. The Oxtail Stew had a good flavor but just needed more depth. I also like my oxtails on the bone. The tagliatelle bolognese was made with fresh pasta but still lacked flavor. The ambiance is great!! This is a place you come to for the vibes and photos. Not the cuisine!

Yelp
We were greeted by their friendly valet crew. They were offering suggestions as we enter the hotel. The lobby is incredibly beautiful with old meets retro meets modern. We started our evening at the Halo rooftop bar to catch the amazing views. At Nettuno, Shelly was an amazing server, taking such great care of my friend for her birthday. The food was amazing. I had the filet with olive oil mashed potatoes. My friends had the fish, a crab dish and the black truffle pasta. This is my second time here and the food has always been great. Ending our evening at the Jazz bar, Alter Ego, for a nightcap.

Yelp
Pros & Cons... Pro's: delicious food & cocktails w/ good service Con's: small portions, menu written in Italian, & didn't care for the ambience.

Yelp
I stopped by Nettuno for a late dinner this evening, and everything was wonderful. The crudo and burrata were absolutely delicious, the service staff was excellent, and the tiramisu was divine. I'll definitely be coming back!
