"See What's New at Neumos Its proper name is Neumos Crystal Ball Reading Room, but pretty much everyone just calls it Neumos (pronounced new-mows, a reference to the previous venue in that space, Moe’s Mo’Roc’N Café). The space includes the Pike Street Fish Fry, the Moe Bar, and a new downstairs venue, the Barboza. Neumos features indie rock, metal, hip-hop, punk, and electronica bands, plus DJ nights and special events. Happy hour is 3-7 p.m. every day, and includes $3 wells, selected $3 shots, $4 mojitos and margaritas, and $5 well shot + beer. On weekends, wells are $2, and Bloody Marys and mimosas are $4."

More Seattle Entertainment Venues Announce Vaccine Requirements | Eater Seattle

"I noted that Neumos has joined other nightlife venues in instituting proof-of-vaccination and masking requirements as extra precautions amid the spread of the highly contagious delta variant." - Gabe Guarente

Live Music Venues Get Government Lifeline: But What About Restaurants? | Eater Seattle

"I consider Neumos a legendary Capitol Hill club co-owned by Steven Severin; he was celebrating the passage of the SOS Act while remaining vigilant, having spent months pushing state and federal lawmakers (and helping form the Washington Nightlife Music Association) to secure relief for venues. Severin emphasized that there is "zero revenue coming in" and warned that without this kind of aid he’d estimate 90 percent of independent venues in the state would have closed, underscoring Neumos’s precarious position and its role in the broader advocacy for live-music relief." - Gabe Guarente

3 venues to experience Seattle's music and nightlife - SilverKris

"A compact, high-energy music venue on 925 E Pike St that hosts a wide range of nighttime entertainment — from trivia nights and dance parties to national touring acts — and is frequently packed to capacity. The stage has welcomed big-name artists such as Diplo, Vampire Weekend and Damian Marley, and the venue lists events and sells tickets online, making it a go-to spot for both emerging local bands and established performers." - Megan Hill
