I used to love and really look forward to my 3-4 weekly visits at NevadaMade Henderson, however I probably won't be going back, not to get treated like shit by Chris and accused of "threatening" a whole ass company I truly vibed with. Everyone else is so friendly, the atmosphere is just always great. I've been such a loyal customer; it was truly devastating and utterly disgusting to be treated the way I was treated by the "Assistant Manager" Chris over the weekend.
As a single working mother, I fully took advantage of the app the company offers and it's convenience. That's literally what it's there for. So once I changed my phone number and had issues with it, it was really inconvenient for me. I brought it up to Brian about 2 months ago now, always checking in to see if there's any update. Somewhere along the line, my visit prior to this one, miscommunication occurred between one of the staff members and I and they suggested I use the drive thru window for convenience. One of us should've acknowledged the window being useless to me if my app is down, but it didn't even occur to me until my next visit after I waited 7 minutes in the drive thru line and got told to come in. No big deal. So I went inside knowing I'd have to wait again to be dealt with as a walk in. Again, no big deal. It did frustrate me to watch 6 people walk in behind me to use the window, but again, Brian had assured me they were handling the issue, it would just take some time. I get in and place my order, again, everyone there is so lovely, I usually have zero complaints....I did ask the lady helping me if Brian was around today, she stated it was Chris, the assistant manager on duty. I let her know I was in a hurry, but that I would definitely be calling Chris once I got back on the road to touch base about my situation. (Most of the staff knows my app issue, I am there so much.)
I called Chris and immediately get greeted with an attitude. I've never heard his name before today so I start off with asking him for patience and to bare with me as I'm feeling a little anxious and am struggling with my words, I'm just frustrated. I familiarize him with my situation and he lets me know he's aware of the issue. So I go on to say I'm really frustrated because I am just trying to find a solution, as I've always been a mobile order customer I'm used to being in and out so having to take up to 30 minutes to go buy some weed, it's frustrating and really inconvenient for me. "That's not our issue, everyone else's app is working fine." This is what the man says to me as I am asking as a customer for help to the "manager". I pretend I didn't hear that a-hole remark and say "Chris, Nevada Made came up with an app to make shopping hassle-free at your location, as a single mother I can't come pick up my medication at the dispensary with my kids so that means I have to make arrangements and if the app isn't working for me, those arrangements have to be longer than if the app was working." to which he replies "that also isn't our problem, we didn't tell you to have kids." WHAT....THE.....FUUUUUUUUUCK???? WHO SAYS THIS? Did y'all pick this so called man off the streets or what? This isn't a manager, this is a clown. This time I am not ignoring his uncalled for comment and he doesn't like what I have to say so he ACCUSES ME OF THREATENING THE COMPANY!!! and tells me not to come back.
Here's what I said "excuse me? Chris, are you kidding me? Do you truly feel that was an acceptable thing to say not only in general, but to a customer while you're on the clock representing Nevada Made? Are you familiar with word of mouth and how your bad customer service could potentially take down the entire company?" He literally interrupted me to repeat "take down the company, okay, just don't come back here" and idk what else because I hung up. I am not about to be victimized by some punk ass kid who has no managerial abilities whatsoever..
25 years in management, I'll never shop anywhere that talks to their customers that way and I'll just keep growing my own weed.
