My husband and his close friend went out the first time coming to this place and we did not expect how this place was going to be. I really liked the atmosphere here definitely a different kind of vibe like futuristic vibe yet had a aesthetic feel to it coming into the front part of the bar especially. A bit more in the younger crowd tho. It is quieter in the front part of the space but going towards the back into the club area is a lot louder and the music is definitely has beats to vibe too. Over all experience was awesome and yet chill.

Edited review (see image for club owners response to inital review): Let’s clear up a few things—especially since the club responded with a “breakdown” which included some blatant inaccuracies. First, I was charged $5 for a bottle of water, not $2 as claimed. If you're going to justify the charge, at least be honest about what you're charging customers. It's baffling that a business waits until someone is "truly in need" of water before offering it. The whole point of providing water is to keep people hydrated so they can continue enjoying their time, not wait until they're on the verge of blacking out. Charging for water over basic customer safety? It’s just a blatant cash grab at the wrong expense. Second, I bought a couple of drinks. One bartender used a jigger, yes, but another clearly didn’t and free poured, which is exactly why I said my drinks tasted watered down. If you’re going to claim consistency, then ensure your staff actually practices it. Maybe next time, you should just make my drink with a garden hose so I can actually get a cup of water around here. As for the music: No, I didn’t expect a "FiVe-HoUr FaN cLuB eXpErIeNcE", but I did expect to hear more of the artist the night was themed around. That’s just basic event follow-through. What really stands out, though, is the tone of the club's response to my initial review. Instead of engaging respectfully with a paying customer’s feedback, you chose to get snarky and dismissive. That tells me—and probably anyone else reading—that genuine customer feedback isn’t taken seriously here. Inital review: Do yourself a favor and avoid this bar. Not only do they charge for water (a basic necessity when drinking), but the drinks are watered down as well. I asked for tap water but they say the only option is bottled water. On top of that, I went for a themed night, and they didn’t even play the artist’s music! What's the point of a themed night if you're not even going to follow through with the theme? Save your money and go somewhere that actually cares about their customers.

Jeanette the bartender and Nelson the manager are great at their jobs! Always have the best time seeing them. The club has the best atmosphere and vibes.

Great bar with good drinks and super friendly bartenders! Everyone is always so nice and welcoming. The types of events they host are so varied that there's always something for every type of person. The space is really nice too with spots for dancing in the back or sitting and relaxing. I can't say I've had a bad experience here

Over Memorial Day weekend I came here for the first time and met Ish who is such a sweetie and showed me the bathroom! We had a cute convo on the way back and they showed me the best drink on the menu to get. Dawn the wonderful person she is made me the best darn version of that drink possible and it was so good!! They definitely made my weekend and put the cherry on top of a great night!! Shout out Ish and Dawn. Hopefully I’ll see y’all again soon!!

Visited NHIE from out of town. I attended for an event happening at the front part of the bar. There was another event happening at the back of the bar that I didn’t experience. DJ was good (house music). Not used to house music being played the entire night coming from Atlanta but I enjoyed myself overall. Danced most of the night away. Got crowded by the end of the night. Bartender service was ok. Short wait to get their attention but with the crowd size it was understandable. Restrooms were clean. Security was pleasant.

This place sucks. We had an event here and it was awful. Terrible service. Terrible drinks. TERRIBLE bar tenders! Every worker was so rude to us the whole time. The event space was dirty and gross and we did not have a good time. 100% do not recommend. They were unclear about the rules of the event as well.

It was my first time here so maybe the regular bartender that everyone’s raving about in the reviews wasn’t there. But I spent around $70 somethingg on 3 cosmos and a shot of tequila (1 shot was $14 btw) which would’ve been fine except we barely felt a buzz (and im not a drinker so the drinks were weak). I recommend pre-gaming strongly before coming here. That being said the music was decent and the club itself was pretty so I’d give them another try.

Love this place. Great staff and owner. Justin, Meme and Timmy are awesome. We hoisted a fundraiser there and everyone had a great time! I will definitely go back there

I really like the aesthetic of this club. The front part has a lounge that is more of a quiet space then in the back. There's a bar, booth tables and a dance floor. There is also an upper level but it was closed off. They have amazing DJs and the staff is really friendly. There were a few things that irked me. The drinks were kind of watery for the price but you did have options. And though the prices suck, they are comparable to most clubs. There a mandatory (I guess) coat check that unfortunately didn't have a defined process with only one person working, it was a headache. Interestingly enough, later on there are people who were coming in with their coats. And yes, getting my coat took about 20 minutes. So have patience but the music is really good.

We went for an R&B night where there were two different DJs when my sister and cousin were in town to celebrate her birthday. We had a great time and the drinks were great.

Ahh! This used to be Flash Dance Club, remember that? This is a bar and night club. Also, this is a Tequila bar. The front has been remodeled but the club is the same as Flash. The cocktails average around fourteen dollars which is too high. This is a few blocks from DePaul so college students are not going to pay that much. Hopefully they'll last not like Flash. PS. Brando's # 2 is going to open next month several doors down. Hopefully their cocktails won't be high.

I had been to this bar before for an event and they had the back area open with the dance floor which makes this one of the best hip hop spots in Chicago. Unfortunately last night I went to a pre Super Bowl Kendrick Lamar event and even though there were a lot of people many left early because they refused to open the back bar. All these people including myself probably would have spent the whole night there and bought a ton of drinks. Instead I watched a bunch of disappointed faces leaving after one drink. Never have I ever seen a bar actively not try to make money on a promo event. Word of caution to anyone looking to attend this place. What you see is not always what you get. I suggest you think twice about paying to attend any event here.

Club in general was decent-ish. The biggest problem would be the security kicking out groups for no explanation. Just see them come up tap on shoulders they take you away happened with multiple groups it's like they want the place to be dead. Go to any other place on the street or be kicked out after paying cover. Also they don't serve tap water at the bar??

Fun place! The burlesque show is worth a visit. My cocktail was so-so but they have other stuff to drink.

Kicked us out bc a girl left her drink at our table at we are under 21. So fucking stupid. We left but they wouldn't even try to talk to girl. If ur under 21 don't come here unless you wanna get kicked out for nothing at all.

DO NOT GO HERE My Producer of the Event that we had at this venue was not allowed to enter the building due to security GREG saying he was not allowed back in. when we asked why. All Greg and Kevin said was we don't have to explain ourselves. This made the Event a HUGE LOSS for us we will not be going back here and NOBODY SHOULD PLAY HERE they make up things to make things hard on people.

Had the best time at the Flights Not Feelings class tonight! Incredible vibes all around. Highly recommend for anyone. Bridget was the best, made the experience seamless. Can't wait to come on a Friday or Saturday night!

Drinks are ridiculously overpriced. Could maybe be fun but the few times I've gone there it's been dead. Lots of better options on the same street. Also noticed they blast music out their doors on Sunday nights at insane volumes, pretty telling that they are the only bar on Lincoln doing that
