NEVS Barbecue

This was a surprise experience for me. I was reviewing a bar & grill in the same strip mall. NEVS has outdoor seating. I asked some of the patrons how the food was. They all answered with an enthusiastic approval! I had the BBQ brisket with collard greens, coleslaw, a cornbread muffin and an order of fries. Everything was fantastic. The brisket was made to perfection. Juicy and very tender. The fries were a standout hit. They are proudly fried in beef tallow and seasoned with brisket seasoning (salt, pepper and other spices). Free refills on fountain drinks. I highly recommend this place for takeout or dining in. The staff and management were ultra polite and helpful with recommendations.

I originally went there with my wife and the brisket was amazing! The best we ever had hands down! Since then I’ve been spreading word!I initially visited this establishment with my wife, and the brisket was simply incredible! It was, without a doubt, the best brisket we’ve ever had. Since then, I’ve been enthusiastically recommending it to others.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I drove 45 minutes from Lake Worth, and it was totally worth the trip! The food is amazing, and the entire experience was great from start to finish. The place is super child-friendly—clean, sturdy high chairs, and even a nice little area with a changing table and a comfy chair that's perfect for breastfeeding. It's the first time we've been to a restaurant that was so thoughtful about kids' needs. The staff was incredibly kind and welcoming. I absolutely loved it and will definitely be back!

First time here and I actually found a place that makes brisket about as good as mine. I'm surprised to say the least! I'll be back for sure. Great food, great service. Good job. EDIT: Went back for the ribs on Saturday. This place is probably the best BBQ in the county.

This is the best bbq we have found in FL. We ordered a family platter with various meats and sides. Every single thing was delicious. Portions are very generous. The brisket was to die for, fall apart tender with the perfect smokiness. Even the smoked chicken was extremely tender and juicy. The sides were all great. We had a brownie for dessert which I can confidently say is the BEST brownie I have ever had. It has a fudgy, custard like center and not too sweet. The staff was warm and welcoming, cannot say enough good things. Must try!

Tasty well prepared BBQ style food. Nice seating area and clean except it is VERY loud when full. I couldn't hear my wife seated next to me. You can eat outside if you dont mind the heat. The drinks are all large cups and lots of napkins and utensils.

I haven’t visited in a while. Nev’s has been my favorite since they opened. Today’s sandwiches were pretty terrible. The buns were hard on the bottom. Both the turkey and the pork were soooooo dry. It was to the point I thought for sure Nev’s was sold. Not sure what’s going on, but it’s def not the same!

It's definitely a must when in area or if you are a local and haven't tried yet. The smell of smoked meats just whafts into the nostrils as you enter the building. It was quite divine and sumptuous. True Texas BBQ in the house!! Upon walking in, I was given a sample of the brisket, omgoodness, take my money! The brisket was tender to melt in your mouth and hands point, very minimal seasoning, so you get the flavors of the meat and smoke all the way. The burnt ends were my favorite from this visit and would highly recommend them! My least favorite was the potato salad. Although it had good flavor, the potatoes were too hard, almost crunchy, not to my liking. The cole slaw was pretty standard. The cornbread muffins were fantastic, could have had a dozen 😆 The restaurant was spotless and the staff was very nice. Beautifully and simply decorated as well. The owner was there training some staff so I read able to talk to him and get a little back story and tour of the smoker. Best of luck sir, again like I said, way better than Terry Blacks!

This is a must run to! It's delicious! The portions are huge! We had pulled pork, jalapeño sausage and burnt ends on one platter. The star of the show was the sausage. Juicy and the cheese was so fresh. The pulled pork is probably better in a sandwich because it wasn't very good, needed to be pulled apart more, ours was a giant chunk. The brisket was 10/10. I will go back just for that. Best I've had so far in palm beach county. The Mac and cheese is good, creamy and actually has flavor. The staff was super friendly and let us sample the chili, it was good, not my kind of thing but good. The place was super clean and even had staff clean while we were there.

But baby I'm from Texas and one thing we know is good Q! I love a good brisket and was missing home so I stopped here for lunch. Ordered the brisket, black pepper sausage, baked beans, cornbread...Lawd $26 before tax hurt! Meat is by weight in 1/3 increments, add a side and drink is $5-6 more. The meat was pretty good, I was pleasantly surprised. Texas good errrr nah but it's up there. Dude cut my brisket way too thick but otherwise had an almost acceptable level of moist/lean. The baked beans were entirely too darn sweet but had brisket in them. The second time I ate NEVS was a corporate sponsored group order so I got to taste more sides. The mac & cheese was barely ok but the "cole slaw" was diabolical. I couldn't do it! No ma'am!!! The brisket and sausage were consistent. Service was pretty friendly when I dined inside. I was intending to return for the ribs which are only served Saturdays. I've found a closer spot that has great ribs but don't serve brisket so I'm likely to return. Just them sides....

We ordered enough for a party tomorrow but it smelled so good we stayed and ordered lunch for today :) Service was super friendly and personable. The food was incredible - brisket sliced to order, burnt ends as big as a baby's fist, and moist cornbread. Clean tables, easy packing up the leftovers to take home. All in all a great experience, they've thought through the end to end customer experience. Can't wait to go back.

When I went in to order I was shocked at fire nice the interior was. It's clean, modern, with a beautiful brick wall for an accent. The service was incredible. The staff was nice and pleasant to deal with. They did was delicious. The burnt ends were sweet, crispy, and moist. The cornbread was a little dry but tasted great. I think it was flavored with jalapeño bits and cheddar. The baked beans were my favorite. They had the most flavor and had bits of pulled meat in it. A new BBQ spot has been added to my favorites.

We met our cousins here for dinner on a very rainy evening. They live in the north part of Palm Beach County and this wasn't too far away for them to drive. The restaurant had gotten good reviews on yelp, so I took a chance suggesting we meet there. We usually go out for something a bit fancier when we get together, but I figured we'd try something different for a change. It turned out to be a good choice. When we got there, they weren't too busy. I think the rain was the reason. You order and pay at the counter. The place inside is quite casual and rustic. They have a choice of sandwiches or platters. On Saturdays, only, they offer a full rack of ribs. The platters come with a corn muffin. The sandwiches come just alone. And all the sides are a la carte. I got their (beef) burnt ends as a sandwich and added on baked beans. My husband got a pulled pork platter and added beans. Our cousins got the same but tried the coleslaw as a side. We all really liked out meat choices. The beans had bits of meat in it, and were a bit spicy, but very good. The corn muffins had jalapenos in them but were slightly sweet. The only item that was rather disappointing was their fruit cobbler. Perhaps if it had been served warm? Shortly after we were served, the restaurant got busy. A whole troop of canine cops arrived, plus a half dozen other couples. They close fairly early, and as the rain was slowing down a bit, we left so there was an open table available for the new folks. I'm glad we came to try them. They are getting good word of mouth in the area, so I imagine they will just get even busier in the near future.

Met my cousins here for dinner on a rainy night. The inside has lots of seating and is well lighted. The service is great as you order cafeteria style and take your trays to your table. The servers explain your options as well as how each meat is prepared. I chose the pulled pork platter which is a generous serving of meat and comes with a cornbread muffin. I also chose the baked beans which have meat and a slight peppery bite but delicious. Everyone was happy with their choices and had some leftovers to take home. Good food, service and value... we will return for more!

Great barbecue. Got pulled pork sandwich. It was so big we split it. Coleslaw was unique and delicious. Staff were helpful when ordering. Will definitely be back.

I was in the mood for some BBQ and was really glad to have stumbled upon this place. The place looks very unassuming and it's perfect if you're just looking for something quick. Their setup is quite similar to what you would expect from a Chipotle, you get in line, choose your sandwich or platter, and then they have some sides. The staff were really pleasant, and friendly, although I wish they would've made a better recommendation for my first time since I was a bit undecided. I did enjoy that there was a lot seating and each table has their set of sauces which were delicious! And they even had a small section on the side with takeaway boxes in case you can't finish it all (their portions are in fact very generous). On to the food, I ended up ordering their brisket which (I do think I should've gotten the burnt ends as they looked really good on someone else's plate ). I will say... my brisket was deliciously smoked, juicy, and as I said, very generous portions. I got all their sides, potato salad, Cole slaw, and the pickles, and they were all as I expected in terms of flavor, the slaw was specially enjoyable, with just the right hint of sweetness and dressing. I also decided I would try a local beer since they do have a few beer options. I was very satisfied, and I only regret not getting those burnt ends, but there will be another time.

My husband and I stopped by here the other day on our way to visit family in Jupiter FL. We love barbecue and figured we couldn't go wrong. We came right before closing which was around 7:30. We aren't used to businesses being closed before 10 as we live in Orlando, and most businesses stay open till at least midnight. We ordered some brisket, some "pulled chicken" and some Mac and cheese as well as coleslaw. The brisket was tender and juicy, but a bit on the bland side. Their sauces really carried the meal. The "pulled chicken" was definitely not pulled, but rather a dry piece of chicken breast. The seasoning on the chicken was good, but it was so dry and stringy I couldn't eat it. Something else that I thought was really strange was that my slaw was filled with whole peppercorns. As a cook/foodie I have never seen this in my slaw before. Sometimes you see whole peppercorns in biryani or chicken adobo, but definitely not in slaw. The Mac and cheese was old but I'm sure it would of been delicious fresh despite it being on the soupy side. I wouldn't come back here, nor would I recommend this business but the employees were so friendly and hospitable and the place felt really cozy and clean.

NEV's is without question, the best barbecue in Palm Beach. The atmosphere is homey, with a very rustic but clean feel. It's kinda hidden away in the plaza it's in, but I think that's what gives it that fun charm about being a "hidden gem". This brisket was absolutely incredible. Juicy, tender, smokey. A+. The pulled pork and sausage were equally as delicious. But my favorite bite was the burnt ends. You can't go and NOT get them. And, not to be outdone, the sides were also all very good, in particular the Mac and cheese. People of Palm Beach, hear me out. Put NEV's on your list.

Update: So this is my third and final time visiting this wonderful barbecue place. Final time because I'm leaving Florida. But I just wanted to add to those of you who like to frequent a place over and over because it's good. Don't be surprised if your plate looks little bit different from the first time to the last time. The last two times I've been, my big beans do not have the large pieces of brisket in it. The owner or manager does that Randomly. But thanks! It keeps me me coming back. Everything is delicious!!

We just arrived in town and wanted to have lunch. I'm driving and my brother in law found NEVS BBQ. Located in, it's not a strip mall but a plaza? Be aware there are a bunch of stores while looking for the restaurant. Walking inside, it's new and inviting. It's set up like Chipotle, you order from the window and pick up your lunch choice at the register. Now my wife is in my mix. All I heard was "Lets split a" sandwich? I don't want to split anything, my thinking is I'll get a platter and we'll share the sides? The counter person said would you like to have burnt ends? She takes a cleaver and starts chopping up the ends like on SNL Samurai Deli! She makes my wife a sandwich. I ask for the burnt ends platter. No chopping, no tossing, nada. Now I'm confused. There are three sides: Pickle chips Cole Slaw Homemade potato salad My wife had a side of beans so we're good right? My wife's beans were amazing! So amazing she didn't want to share and pointed out the reason why: The cole slaw is Mayo based The potato salad is Mayo and mustard based and aren't cooked The pickles had a kick to them My burnt ends were good. Some of them were meaty goodness. I had one or two dried portions but I was happy with the the BBQ. I had to throw away the potato salad, the potatoes were too hard. The pickles, I shared them with the table. My wife's beans were a hit. My wife's sandwich was a hit. Moral of the story? Listen to my wife.....

I had such a wonderful experience at NEVS! I was greeted by an incredibly friendly staff, and a man whom I believe was either the manager or the owner. He was SO hospitable!! Wish I would have caught his name. It was an exceptional service experience all around. The Brisket sandwich I had, and the Mac and cheese and Cole Slaw were all FANTASTIC!!! It's honestly some of the best BBQ I've had. The Brisket was so tender and lean. All around fantastic experience!!

We had the pleasure of going to Nevs tonight and the BBQ was very good! We got pork, burnt ends and brisket! My boys loved the Mac and Cheese and the corn bread. Everything seemed to be done very well and tasty. Negative: Personally I can not do sugar and asked if their sauce had sugar and they said yes. I politely asked if they good just get me a small side of Apple Cider Vinegar (that I could see on the shelf inside the clean kitchen) and they said no they couldn't?! Next time I may just have to bring my own sauce for their tasty meats. The rest of my family loves the original sauce and the Texas hot.

Wow! This was the last-minute detour from a lunch spot we were heading to.. So glad we made the decision to try this new barbecue place instead.. we were asked when we came in if it was our first time visiting, and we confirmed it was.. Multiple employees including the owner took the time to go over the menu with us.. we ended up going for pretty much a smorgasbord of everything lol.. we had brisket, pulled pork, smoked jalapeño cheddar sausage, barbecue beans, cornbread, potato salad, and their version of barbecue chili.. Everything was great! Some of the standouts though were definitely the brisket, the smoked sausage, and I have to say the best barbecue beans we've ever had! I personally also really enjoyed the mustard barbecue sauce.. If you're looking for some awesome barbecue in the Palm Beach Gardens area, we cannot recommend this place enough!

I was really excited when I learned about Nevs BBQ as I occasionally have meetings in Palm Beach Gardens & enjoy good Que. After checking them out on social media, I finally had an opportunity to give them a shot. It's in a shopping center with plenty of parking and easy to find. The place has a nice atmosphere with tables inside and out front too. You'll find a roll of paper towels and sauces on the tables. I didn't find the staff to be very friendly. I was there just before noon and it wasn't crowded either. I told them it was my first visit and they really didn't seem to care. I really wanted ribs however I found out they only have them on Saturday. Also, there's only one poultry option and it's pulled white meat chicken (no dark meat or turkey). I went with the pulled pork which was tasty with their Carolina sauce and slaw. They didn't have collard greens which I happen to like. Since I no longer eat brisket, I found the menu to be limiting. Don't get me wrong, the place was good. I just would like it more if they added a few other items to the menu or offered pickles at no cost.

First time visit, hooked me for the best bbq in Palm Beach County! Strongly recommended if you haven't tried NEVS, get there soon! You will not be disappointed! I had the burnt ends, some brisket, beans, snd and a sample of amazing chili! The burnt ends are a true man's hunger killer as the giant chunks have the best balance of fat and meat I have ever had! The brisket was mouth watering and melted in your mouth...had a few pieces with their sauces which were great, but prefer it without but u can choose when you dive into the mountain of meat! Service was amazing! Great atmosphere for a bbq place as well! Do yourself a favor, get there early and often!

A perfect little barbecue spot in the promenade plaza. Stop by for lunch because several of the people I work with have already been there and said it was delicious. They were right I went to lunch with a couple of friends today and we ordered barbecue. I had the burnt ends with coleslaw and a cornbread muffin. The burnt ends come from the brisket. They make your food as you go down the line and you watch as they put everything on your plate. There's several things to choose from potato salad, mac & cheese, but I ordered the very interesting coleslaw. Even though there was a line it's kind of like other restaurants where they're all set up and they put things on your plate as you go down the line, and it really doesn't take very long, then pay for your food at the end and you find your own seat. It was a lovely day and we sat outside. The burnt ends were delicious, but one of the things that really struck me was the barbecue sauces. They have three kinds, hot, sweet and Carolina style. I first selected the Carolina style and it's different than anyone you've ever had. It has chunks of things in it that look like mango although I'm not sure it tasted like mango and it has that mustard tang that you expect the BBQ sauce to taste like. Take it from me. It was delicious. I put several tries at the hot barbecue sauce, but it was fairly water down and I didn't like the consistency of it. Nevertheless, it was hot. We had a wonderful lunch and everyone in the party enjoyed themselves. I'm sure it's going to be a successful barbecue especially if you make a lot of people happy like they did today.

Quite possibly the best brisket sandwich I have eaten in a barbecue restaurant. Juicy and piled on. The french fries were the translucent crispy fries that you search for in other orders hoping to find one or two good ones. Definitely worth the time and the money.

I invested in a Florida charity book in January and there were 2 NEVs coupons Buy a platter dinner & receive a free pulled Chicken Sandwich NEV's platters are $11 Both times I tried to redeem this coupon my total was $16 or $18?? Therefore, their chicken sandwich was $5 or $7 Not Free NEVER going back!!!! Be Careful!!

Had pulled brisket. Very good but too rich for my blood. I will however say that their potato salad was AMAZING! It tasted super fresh, hint of mustard and big chunky pieces of red potato that has a perfect consistency. Huge drink cups as well with the usual soda selection.

If you are craving some great BBQ, look no further. This is the place to get it. I wasn't particularly impressed with the chili but all the other smoked meats were delicious. The ribs were fall off the bone scrumptious and the pulled pork was so tender and moist. Then there were the burnt ends, OMG!!! I dare you to find any better in the area.

Tried this place out for the first time today and probably one of the best barbecue I've had in Palm Beach County. Definitely go and try it! Loved the chicken, the ribs, the burnt ends, and the sausage. The coleslaw was great as well.

Very good bbq. It's really simple with 99% of places, it's either good well cooked and spiced foods like this place is or they f it up and don't care or know how to cook. Also great prices for what you get it's a good deal. definitely coming back

This place has the best BBQ in Gardens/Palm Beach. They make the food fresh each day and you can smell it from the parking lot! Saturdays and Sundays the ribs are first come first serve and they are delicious! The owners of Nev's have always been kind and nice, and the food is always on point and ready quickly! I recommend the coleslaw and burnt ends! They are absolutely to die for!

Finally made the trip to taste some Barbecue from NEVS. 300 mile round trip from Orlando was definitely worth my time and money. The food was delicious and had three types of sauces. My favorite was the Texas Hot Sauce. Awesome cornbread and of course that I used hot sauce for my ultimate taste. I will return with some hungry eaters. Lol

I am very picky when it comes to barbecue and I have tried all of them in the area. I'm so happy that they are in town because all their barbecue was great from the brisket, sausage, ribs, everything was great! The staff were nice and letting me choose different options and giving me recommendations. I felt at home. I NEEED TO COME BACK!

The folks here took a to-go order on a Tuesday night and hit a home run! Brisket, pulled pork, three or four sides. Everything was excellent. Great food, real BBQ, would definitely come back again!

Excellent all the way around. Friendly service. Portions for a king. All tasted good. I got the chopped brisket.

We order this place for lunch from our workplace at least 2-3 x a month. Food is always great! The give large portions and have never got our order wrong and we place Large orders

Let's talk BBQ. NEVS probably has some of the most consistent quality meats in the area. The restaurant is small but has a good BBQ vibe to it. Let's talk meats: Brisket: Okay rating. While the brisket had a nice smoky flavor, I found there to be an abundance of fat throughout. While some people enjoy the fatty texture, it wasn't quite to my personal taste. Pulled pork: Okay rating. The pulled pork lacked a distinctive flavor profile that sets it apart. It was slightly dry, which is not ideal, but it could be remedied with some additional sauce or moisture. Baby back ribs: Okay rating. These ribs had an impressive amount of meat on them, which is always a plus. However, the taste was lacking. It needed more seasoning or a bolder sauce to truly make it shine. Burnt ends: Great rating! The burnt ends were the highlight of my meal. They were incredibly tasty with a nice caramelized exterior and tender, flavorful meat. They were definitely worth trying! Other items: Cornbread: Okay rating. The cornbread was unfortunately a bit disappointing due to its excessive saltiness. The texture was decent, but the overwhelming salt content overshadowed the other flavors. BBQ Sauces: No idea. They wanted to charge me extra for BBQ sauce with my takeout order. Like $20 extra. Not happening. The service is okay. At first I liked the guys, very friendly, fun, and personable. However I noted a few things: 1) I wanted to find a spot to pick up beef ribs in region. Unfortunately NEVS like so many others does not carry them (even on Fridays like they reference). Understandable that may be due to various external factors. So I recommend calling to check that they're in stock if that's what you're in the middle for. 2) I ordered brisket, for everyone else he sliced the larger side of the brisket where you get the classic brisket slices. For me, maybe because I was ordering more, he decided to slice off the small end. Would have been okay but I saw heaps of fat on that end and none on the other. 3) I ordered pounds of bbq meats for take out but they would not give me any bbq sauce without charging me. Crazy. Every table in the restaurant has three bbq sauces on it for diners to use for free. And, I wanted bbq sauce with this meal as well but they wanted to charge me. I would have had to pay $20 for bbq sauce. Not happening. I'm already paying a bunch for all the meat. They did not offer any amount to me for free. I left with no bbq sauce - a shame since some of the meats really could have used it. Overall, I would try this place again to see if I have a better experience. The establishment has a lot of potential and meats were good.

We went to have dinner at Nevs and I was impressed! 5 stars all the way from customer service to food... everything was great. Everyone was polite. Really enjoyed everything the brisket was great!

Nevs is a very good bbq place on a1a. Very clean restaurant and cool vibe. Everything is super fresh and staff very helpful. I had the brisket plate which was perfect. No knife needed and paired well with the sauces. Sides are amazing. I will be back.

If you are a hard working man doing physical labor, then this would be a good spot for you. I was the only woman in there. The brisket was very fatty. Very tightly packed tables and place gets busy.

Updated review. Place is awesome. They catered a few hundred person Place of Hope fundraising event at the Hobe Sound Polo Club, western theme. The food was amazing as usual, corn bread, brisket, chicken, pork, beef, etc.

NEVS is a great bbq place! They have a friendly staff and the food is absolutely delicious! I felt like I was eating in a Texas bbq place. The restaurant is clean and trendy love the vibe! I highly recommend NEVS BBQ!

AMAZING! This is the best brisket I've ever had, and the burnt ends were fantastic. The sides were all great, as well. We had the coleslaw, potato salad, cornbread, and mac and cheese. All delicious! The service was great as well. Everyone was very friendly. I highly recommend!

Excellent! Got to go food so I can't speak on ambiance. The food was quick and great! We ordered pulled pork, pulled chicken, burnt ends, potato salad, Mac and cheese and cornbread. The meats were tender and juicy. Bbq sauces were awesome! Potato salad has a mustard base which I wasn't expecting but it was surprisingly good. Kids loved the mac and cheese.

Hands down this is the best BBQ I have had since living in Florida. You must arrive early, as when they sell out of the meat, they close. They also did a great job of noting that on the website, in articles and even on the door! Upon entering NEVS you're "smacked" right in the face with the best aroma on earth!!! The smell of BBQ let's you know that you have come to the correct place. You have inside or outside seating. One side you will see an awesome mural and on the other side you will see picture frames. You know you come to a good bbq place when they use butcher paper on the trays! The line moved fast, as we ordered two brisket platters with sides of cornbread, Mac and cheese, cole slaw, chili and French fries (they were already out of the baked beans). This meal did not disappoint. The tenderness of the meat and the savory flavor it has was great. Three different types of sauce are at your disposal on each table. I could go on and on; needless to say, we will be back and everyone needs to go to NEVS!

Might be the best barbecue I've had in palm beach county at this point. At the very least they have the best brisket in the area. Everything I've had here is delicious though, from the meats to the sandwiches to the sides. Truly excellent. Highly recommend to anyone who likes good barbecue.

This place popped up on Yelp as " Hot and New" with 4.5 stars out of 24 reviews, Now I know why! This place is the Same plaza as Planet Fitness and Is ironically directly next door to another bbq join ( RIP) seriously. I ordered a son of baby back ribs, burnt ends, Mac and cheese, and the orange glazed bread pudding. The first thing that stood out to me was how much "bark" was on the ribs which I ate first, second was how the Smoked, well seasoned, and tender ( Add sauce for what?!?!? In my Best Lil Jon voice. LMAO. Seriously though. Then the burnt ends, Imagine the most tender, juicy, smoky chunks of heaven you've ever eaten, now add one of the three sauces, you're welcome! Now I am typically not a fan of restaurant max and cheese because they always take shortcuts but this one was the exception. The pasta was perfectly done, the sauce was creamy and smooth but it wasn't made with powder, it was savory with the perfect amount of salt. 7 out of 10 for me. I also ordered the Bread pudding with the orange glaze. OH. My. Freaking. Goodness... I don't always make happy sounds, but when I do, I probably eat this bread pudding. Light, fluffy, a little sweet, just the right amount of decadence to complete the meal.

I'm an experienced cue eater from one side of the South to the other. Nev's stuff is outrageously good. Best burnt ends of my life! Everything else was A+ but the brisket is off the scale. Self service is great and the people are super nice with tasting samples. The ambiance is like all the other instances of this build-out. I swear I was in the same restaurant in Weston just south of the Rick Case empire. But --. Nothing wrong with that! Nev beat it in taste. Only wish they'd put some East Carolina sauce on the table. But you can't have everything. Solved by take out and back to my Apple cider vinegar bottle.

The moment you walk in to Nev's Barbecue you know you're in the right spot! The family atmosphere and friendly service is very inviting. Seven of us went for dinner and sat at the live-edge community table. The walk up ordering was very efficient and the owners Tommy and Marc were very knowledgeable and educational on their recommendations. They both came out to the dining area at separate times to ensure everyone had enough on their plates and that we all were enjoying our meals. The other wait-staff offered to get us refills anytime our drinks were low. It is close to impossible to leave there still hungry! Very reasonably priced for high quality smoked meats, complimentary side options, and large cups for sodas (with the GOOD ice!). Top it all off with a delicious warm brownie or cobbler. We have become regulars after one visit and when we go back I'll make sure to have my elastic-waist stretch pants on. 10 out of 10, great job Nev's!

Perfect place if you have been craving some good BBQ!!! I came here with my family for vacation and they have been dying for some BBQ so we decided to give this place a shot. Right off the bat, the environment was welcoming and friendly! The owner was present and helped us with ordering which is a plus! All the meats were seasoned and cooked to perfection. Never have a been to a place where both the cornbread and Mac n cheese were good!! The coleslaw was deliciously unique with broccoli and kale incorporated into the mix and worth trying out! Would 100% come back again!!!

The interior of Nevs is really charming! The tables were live-edge-like wood, there were custom holders for the bbq sauces, and the bathrooms (single-style) were so cool. Barn doors, huge trough sink. All looked great. The service was line-style, like Chipotle. Go up, say platter or sandwich, and add your sides. Simple, quick, and reasonably-priced. The food is another story. My husband ordered cheese and jalapenos sausage with Mac and cheese. It included a jalaoeno corn muffin. He was thrilled. Loved it all. But note that he loves everything. I had the pulled pork, Mac and cheese and muffin. Pulled pork was ok. A bit fatty. I added the mild bbq sauce. Odd flavor. Mac and cheese were very runny. Not thick, creamy, or crispy on top. I didn't eat very much of it. And passed on the muffin. So, it was a one and done for me.

Brisket was pretty good. My standard for barbecue is simple- if it's not good without sauce, it's not good. This passed for sure. Cheddar jalapeno sausage is disappointing. I really wanted to like it. It has a weird greasiness to it and no flavor other than a smokiness, which is the only redeeming thing. It needs more spice, the jalapeno barely adds anything as is. I get it, you don't want someone to try it and their mouths on fire after. Don't be afraid to make it more spicy, that's the whole point. Improve this and it's a 5 star in my eyes The cornbread muffin thing is a 5 star and might be the best item they have. I'll be back

Best BBQ in north palm/gardens area!! My family and I love BBQ, so we were so excited to try NEVS. We have been at least 5 times in the last two months, needless to say it's real good. The meats we've tried, burnt ends, pulled pork, chicken, and jalapeño cheddar sausage all delicious. The meats are moist and the different bbq sauces pair so well with them. The fries are our favorite side and they are crispy and made fresh to order!
