My friends and I had seafood boil for dinner here! It was not cheap, but we all had plenty and left with bellies full and happy. We chose the house special seasoning with medium spicy level. It was so good, especially with a bowl of rice!! The calamari fries we ordered for a side was also pretty good. Street parking may be available depending on the time of the day & day of the week. Seafood everything (and some sausages)! Definitely not a vegan place, not too vegetarian friendly. But I would say that families and friends can have a blast here-- although the atmosphere to me was a bit awkward and too quiet. I think most people just get takeout from this place. There was only one other table with people dining in. The plastic gloves the restaurant provided were really thin, flimsy, and permeable; my fingers got so greasy and fishy within a few minutes. But worry not! The liquid hand soap in the bathroom does a really good job getting the smell and grease off your hands. I do wish the restaurant provided some wet wipes of some sort, though. There are a few steps in front of the entrance. I don't think I saw a ramp of any sort. Because of this, if I am not mistaken, this may not be a wheelchair accessible place.

The seafood boil was cooked and seasoned to perfection! The garlic butter only with Cajun seasoning was the right choice. The potatoes and corn were on pint as well. My friend got a tequila sunrise and said it was pretty good too. Decent prices for the amount of food we ate!

THIS SPOT IS FANTASTIC!!!! We almost gave up on restaurants in 2025. What a wonderful surprise! Im eating fried catfish, oysters, shrimp and softshell crab, huge portions, everything seasoned perfectly and it was like $40. This place would get 5 stars in Louisiana.

Google
I’m giving this place 3 stars solely because the food was decent—but the customer service today was honestly terrible. From the moment I walked in, the energy was off. I asked for a table for two, and the young man working simply replied, “What?”—so I repeated myself. He showed me to a table without saying anything, even after I said thank you. I waited about 10 minutes for my friend to arrive. When he got there, he brought us water and immediately walked away without checking if we were ready to order. We had to flag him down ourselves. We kept it simple—two lunch specials and crab fries. He brought out the lunch specials only—no crab fries—because he clearly didn’t listen to the full order. He then sat at the front desk and stayed on his phone. At one point, he literally sat down to eat, which made me feel uncomfortable asking about the missing fries. When we were done eating, we tried to get his attention to close the bill—no response. It looked like he had headphones in or just didn’t care. There was no sign of any other staff the entire time. We even got up to use the restroom (since they don’t provide wet wipes), and they saw us walk past—and back—and still didn’t come check on us. When it was time to pay, we couldn’t even flag anyone down and had to walk up front ourselves. All this happened while we were the only guests in the entire restaurant. Unfortunately, this was one of the worst service experiences I’ve ever had. I won’t be returning.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ The Amazing Crab House – Absolutely Lives Up to the Name! I can’t say enough good things about The Amazing Crab House in Philadelphia. This place is a seafood lover’s dream! The highlight for me was definitely their boil bags — loaded with super fresh crab legs, shrimp, corn, potatoes, and more. Everything was cooked to perfection. But what really blew me away were their incredible sauces. I tried the House Special and it was packed with flavor — buttery, garlicky, a little spicy, and full of bold Cajun seasoning. You can tell they put real care into crafting their sauces. Every bite was dripping with flavor and absolutely mouthwatering. The portions are generous, the service is friendly and fast, and the prices are totally fair for the quality you’re getting. Whether you like it mild or super spicy, they’ve got you covered. This place is officially my go-to spot for seafood in Philly. Don’t think twice — just go! 🦀🔥🦐

We came here on a Sunday expecting to do the AYCE crabs, but they told us that they only do that Monday- Thursday. So we'll have to come back. The food was really good and they gave generous portions. The garlic butter was very flavorful and tasty. The service was extremely friendly and they came back a few times to check in on us. They were also accommodating since we had our toddler and infant and they have high chairs.

Went here with my boyfriend a couple weeks ago, and it was our first time having a seafood boil. The restaurant was clean and had a chill atmosphere overall. The food itself was amazing! We ordered Combo #1 for a party of 2, and paid about $100 for everything (there are cheaper options). Additionally, my favorite part of it all was that their seafood had zero fishy smell or taste meaning it was fresh and cleaned!🙏🏼 Id recommend for sure.

Google
AMAZING CRAB HOUSE IS BACK OPEN!! I love amazing crab house and am happy they are back open. I frequently come here. The seafood is fresh and has a nice texture, and the staff is friendly. I’ve tried the blue crab, snow crab, shrimp, crawfish, and black mussels. So far none of them have missed. They also have great appetizers (fried shrimp in the pic)!

Yelp
Very quiet inside - played the same 5 songs on repeat. Pretty pricey. It's a seafood place but just smells FISHY and it's not the normal smell of a seafood restaurant. Service was slow. We never got another round of beverages because she only came back to give us the check. Won't be back.

Yelp
This is my second visit and it did not disappoint. Excellent service, delicious food, yummy cocktails, and clean. This would have been a 5-star review but the lemon-pepper chicken which a little too seasoned (salty) for me but dipping them in both a ranch and blue cheese dressing with a few dollops of Tabasco sauce was a good recommendation. The fried chicken was definitely cooked in fresh grease and fried to perfection. I also ordered Dungeness crabs with broccoli and the amazing crab sauce. That sauce is okay but I'll stick to garlic.
google avatar

Yelp
The all you can eat $30 option is such a great deal! I love crawfish and it really hit the spot. They have good appetizers/ sides as well! Aesthetically, the restaurant itself is nothing special so you're really going for the food. FYI- Only street parking!

Nikki B.

Yelp
This place has really went down. The crabs are small and over cooked. Their fried food looks and tastes like it was cooked in old grease. On a scale from 1-10 I'm generously giving it a 4 . This is one of the worse seafood places I've been to. People nice but food nasty
google avatar

Rhamine P.

Yelp
Food was made fast and delicious! Staff was very courteous and helpful. Plenty room to sit down and enjoy your meal.
google avatar

Yelp
Tastes like Frozen seafood as there wasn't much fresh sweetness so the Cajun flavor masks that; perhaps the similar quality at AYCE buffets. AYCE for $30/ person for 90 min timed seating. We were full before our time limit was up so that's plenty of time. Crawfish to be bland. Mussels were sweet. Shrimp with head on. Clams hold the sauce in its shell so you can suck up the sauce. Loved them appetizers: sweet potato fries and fried oysters. I wasn't too impressed. It was good to fill us up!

Yelp
My daughters and I decided to go to South Street (last minute) since the weather was beautiful today. Originally, we wanted to go to Ishkabibbles for cheesesteaks but I was craving seafood. We all agreed that it sounded like a splendid idea and here we are... satisfying our immediate cravings. Monday thru Thursday was $29.99 all you can eat. And that's exactly what we've all ordered. Surprisingly, the portions were pretty decent. Most importantly, it was fresh and delicious. Our server was very attentive too. We've had a great time and looking forward to going back.

Yelp
Evan is very kind: assisted with take out yesterday and my dine in order today. Delicious food Cost effective Tasty Bar Clean, nice and comfortable dining room My new favorite seafood restaurant

Yelp
Went here craving seafood. The fried shrimp was good so was the catfish. However the crawfish was inedible and ruined my appetite. Service was pretty good. I really wanted to love this place but it just wasn't as good as I expected.

Yelp
Great seafood steamed bag! Everything was delicious and the service was great in a casual clean restaurant.

Yelp
This has been one of my favorite spot for seafood over the past few years. They recently changed management but they crabs are still cooked to perfection. I got the part combo #1 for Christmas and it was still as good as before. They added lobster tails to their combo which was a welcome addition. The garlic butter sauce could have had more chunks of garlic but other than that delicious. I highly recommends this spot to seafood lovers everywhere.

Yelp
*HIGHLY RECOMMEND* *4.5/5 Stars* If you are craving crab legs, shrimp, any shellfish, this place is it. My friends and I decided to come here Christmas weekend, and none of us had seafood boil. We all loved it. It was so cute that they give out bibs and gloves. Food wise, you can choose specific seafood you want or one of their combo deals, which was what we did. We ordered the largest combo to share between the 4 of us, and it was perfect. They also have a holiday deal right now for free appetizer with order of $50+. For seafood in Philly, I was very satisfied. *Fried Calamari - the texture of the calamari was good, not chewy at all. Though the batter was a bit on the soft/soggy side, I would've liked it more crispy. *Most expensive Combo with Dungeness crab and sausage, with Spicy Amazing Crab Special. They prepared this combo in this massive baking pan instead of plastic bags that you normally see. The sauce was very good, it was buttery, creamy, and spiced well (has a bit of peppery/Italian seasoning kick) We got Spicy and it wasn't that spicy, just enough to give us a nice kick. The crab legs and dungeness crab were the stars of the show followed by the shrimp. The crabs were all very large and meaty. You can taste the natural flavor of the crab. The shrimp (headless) were pretty large and well cooked, not overdone. The other shellfish (clams and mussels) were pretty good too. The corn was sooo juicy, the large red potatoes were soft and steamy, and sausage were delicious as well. *VERDICT* Definitely would come back again whenever I have that seafood crave.

Yelp
Food is fresh and service is good, but parking is difficult. My family enjoyed this restaurant.

Yelp
I come here maybe every 2 weeks after my haircut down the street. I get a dozen raw oysters, a shot and a beer. Good stuff every time. I love the service! There's a woman who remembers my order
google avatar

Robert T.

Yelp
Reminded me of a juicy seafood. I even googled it to see if it was a spin off but apparently not. My wife and I had the soft shells. A little greasy and okay. The price for downtown Philly was $12.95 each with fries so that was very cheap! Not a bad place at all just not where you go if your want good fresh seafood
google avatar

Yelp
Enjoyed the place, nice atmosphere, food was good. Reasonable prices. Service was great

Yelp
Place is closed. Went on Tuesday at 2 pm. Tried calling the phone number posted in their front window and it was unavailable.

Yelp
10/10, highly recommend: Staff great Ambiance different but neat Food incredible and great price. To the nitty-gritty; this place is awesome, boil bag with their house sauce is above and beyond. I was so impressed with this place that I couldn't leave till I posted this first. As the Emperor of Mankind said: One unbreakable shield against the coming darkness, one last blade forged in defiance of fate, let them be my legacy to the galaxy I conquered, and my final gift to the species I failed.

Yelp
Walked past this place a few times and have seen people eating outside or waiting to pick up their order so we decided to try it out ourselves. We ordered the garlic butter snow crab legs which came with potatoes and broccoli. Everything was flavorful and packed with a lot of garlic. I think I'd prefer the old bay over garlic. We were allowed to order alcoholic beverages to go which were pretty weak and tasted just like juice. This place wasn't bad.
google avatar

Joan V.

Yelp
Ok as seafood boil places go. They have a full bar which is nice. No options for vegans or vegetarians except fries.
google avatar

Rob B.

Yelp
NOPE!!!! Don't go there!! A funny smell soon as you go in. If even ONE person at your table orders all you can eat, EVERYONE AT THE TABLE HAS TO ORDER ALL YOU CAN EAT! I am not a big eater so I couldn't even finish my original order for $29.99. They wanted to charge me $10 to take just my own already paid for leftovers home. We will never go again to this Asian establishment!!
google avatar

Moisés M.

Yelp
Its good they have special platters and the service is good most the food, nice place toooo
google avatar

Phillip F.

Yelp
It's more average than amazing. The Christmas decorations are very nice. I had the buffet which doesn't include crab legs only small crabs. Not very flavorful and had to add salt. It was filling but nothing stood out to me. Maybe consider the individual items.
google avatar

Yelp
Staff was amazing!!! I ordered lemon pepper chicken and black mussels...both were great. My date ordered fried shrimp, fried flounder and sweet potato fries...all of the good was really tasty except for the fried flounder...it seemed to be thawed then fried, like it was not dry when it was battered and fried.. The drinks were also good! The sports bar atmosphere made it an enjoyable time...try it out

Yelp
Everything was amazing. Decent prices on seafood broil with enough for two people. Burger were good too. Quick service and cute atmosphere 10/10

Yelp
- fast delivery - very delectable amazing sauce - the shrimp dont come with shells which is a huge advantage - It was so good, I ordered again, two hours later

Yelp
We have been searching for a good seafood boil and this place is it. It isn't too salty like most places and their sauce is actually good. Highly recommend

T I.

Yelp
Food was good but I didn't like how they tried to nickel and dime us out of everything. The 29.99 all you can eat special requires you to finish all your food or they will charge you full price to take it to go or even to leave leftovers. Everyone has to order their own 29.99 buffet- NO SHARING- or they will charge you for that. I handed my partner one of my shrimps and no less than two minutes later, the waitress comes over and says that will be an extra 29.99. I was able to watch the bartender making our drinks- just a splash of alcohol in a 12 oz drink. Will not be coming back.

Samuel C.

Yelp
Hot nice seafood in the area, not the best but service is great and portions are good. Cajun taste wonderful but garlic butter is not the best., seafood is fresh, last time try their fresh oyster are fresh. Family friendly store...

Yelp
Delicious. We got the $99 platter with the amazing sauce and the sauce really was AMAZING. The server recommended it and I'm glad she did. With three people in our party we were unable to finish the whole platter but we sure did try! The mussels, clams, crawfish, potatoes and corn were delicious and the only complaint is that the snow crab and king crab legs were a tad on the salty side even without the sauce. Some sausages in the boil would've been nice too. The service was perfect, there's a full bar and multiple tv's if you wanna catch a game, there's plenty of seating if you wanna hit this place up as a group. Plenty of street parking. Two hour parking limit out front. Highly recommend. Would dine here again soon.

Yelp
So, why only 4 star and not the 5? Well, food tasted great. Lemon pepper wings were very flavorful. We had the seafood combo of snow crab legs, crawfish and shrimps. The combo also comes with potatoes and corn. I had sausages added for additional $6.99. A little too much but it was good. Fried calamari was good but it was a bit undercook to me. It was still somewhat mooshy. My biggest dislike was the drinks. We both ordered Long Island Ice Tea. Normally any place i order this to drink, it would be too strong for me. But, when I had this drink here it tasted as if it was watered down. Barely tasted any alcohol. Taste more of the tea. And the cup they used with ice in it seem to be a rip off. Because, it's very little for a $10 charge. But other than that, I'd go back for more seafood. The environment is also nice and relaxing.

Yelp
Came here with my girlfriend on a Friday night in the summer. We opted to sit outside since it was a beautiful evening. Extremely casual. We ordered the crabs with Old Bay. They were delicious! Definitely going back again!
google avatar

Yelp
unlimited ayce cabin boils for $30 per person. time limit is 90 minutes. the food is brought out fast didnt have to wait long to have the next bag out in front of us. soft drinks are unlimited refills for $3. second time coming here not sure if it was a off day but there was not much flavor to the boil as the first time.
google avatar

Tammy M.

Yelp
The food was delicious and the service was excellent the butter sauce is awesome. And the crab legs were a nice size .

Cristian G.

Yelp
Got the spiciest flavor and it had some kick, very good portions and seasoned perfectly. I also added white rice and it complemented this dish very well. My wife got shrimp as well and both really enjoyed this meal.

Yelp
I've been to several seafood boil restaurants in Philly/near Philly and this place is probably one of the better places, mainly because I really liked their "amazing special sauce." The sauce was not overly salty like other places but still had plenty of flavor. I tried one of their combos and the snow crab legs and shrimp (head-on) were my favorite. Unfortunately, I did not like the crawfish here. It was not fresh and actually tasted a little fishy. I would still come back but will just order the crabs and shrimp next time.
google avatar

Jai M.

Yelp
Dope spot with great amazing seafood that is seasoned to my liking. Bartender was amazing knew how to make a incredible Old fashion
google avatar

Yelp
This was one of the best crab dishes I have had. There amazing sauce it absolutely amazing and I couldn't get enough of it. Was a perfect date night. We ordered the snow crab and green mussels in the amazing sauce. Yummy.

Lisa W.

Yelp
We tried this place based on the reviews and really enjoyed it. We were looking for a good casual place to get seafood and this was a hit! My husband had shrimp and I had the crab legs. Both were delicious!
google avatar

Fia M.

Yelp
Always a great time, good amount of seafood, prices are fair and seafood is good. Can't go wrong with the crab bag. Restaurant is clean and wait staff is attentive.

Yelp
My friend and I decided to grab a bite since I landed back in Philly and she was off from work. We said we should try somewhere new near South Street since it probably wouldn't be crowded given time of day and it being during the week. We landed on the Amazing Crab House because we were both fans of the seafood and especially the seasoned steam bags. We wound up ordering the most expensive combo $99, because it literally made the most sense given that we both wanted crab legs, yet they weren't included in all combos as they typically are at most establishments like this. The $99 combo included 2 nicely sized lobster tails (or king crab but we went with the lobster), 1 lb each of: head on shrimP (they charge an additional $4 to remove the heads....WHAT, YEAH ‍), baby clams, PEI mussels, snow crab legs, crawfish and 4 ears of corn and red potatoes. We went with their amazing garlic sauce aNd made it medium heat (which was perfectly spicy). We have ZERO complaints with the food as it was pretty damn delicious and we had a bunch of leftovers. This platter could have easily been shared by 3-4 people. Our server also gave us a tutorial on eating crawfish as neither of us knew how to properly get the meat out of the tail. Despite the priciness (when other similar establishments are no where near as pricey), we said we would actually visit again to share that platter and perhaps participate in karaoke and drinks.

Yelp
This place is awesome great food. Seasoned very well b.y.o.b Plenty of room booth seating and good music playing in the background. If u are craving some Great seafood get down here asap. Absolutely delicious! And a special shout out to our waitress she was great.
google avatar

Fabiola S.

Yelp
Delicious seafood boil! We enjoyed our kind crab, clams and soft shell crab! Sauce is delicious, their spicy level is accurate! So if if you order spicy get ready to sweat! Seafood perfectly cooked, a lot of places over cook their seafood. Potatoes and corn come with the boil and it's perfectly cooked! Potatoes do not fall apart! Yummy over all! Drinks are not their strong, after all it's called Amazing Crab House so if you want a good drink , we suggest not to order here. We had the Margarita Pitbull, and was not impressed. We also had complimentary chips and salsa... we thought this was a little strange given that it doesn't go with seafood boils. The chips were stale and the salsa was not authentic. Maybe try serving some bread, biscuits or fries!
google avatar

G F.

Yelp
One word......NOOOOOOOOOO!!!!! Still have a strong fishy flavor in our mouths and it's been over 1/2 hour In addition.... waffle fries were not cooked. Almost raw When the quality of the delivery is the best thing about the meal it is a sign ...
google avatar

Regina R.

Yelp
Amazing is the name and seafood is the game! This place truly lives up to its name! They gave a variety of sauces for your seafood- we chose the butter and garlic. Everything was fresh and delicious! I would go again and bring friends!
google avatar

Jeanette G.

Yelp
Got takeout for the first time trying out their seafood. Honestly I think it's good although I prefer the sauce to be more flavorful. Will return.

Sabrina J.

Yelp
The food was absolutely amazing. The hush puppies were not the traditional hush puppies because they had a cream of corn base, causing them to be slightly gooey inside and the corn on the cob was not sweet or crunchy, so both I can pass on the next time. Other than that, the flavor of the seafood was bursting. Overall a great place if you don't mind forking out the extra money. I would go back.

Shelby W.

Yelp
Service was horrible & the seafood WAS NOT FRESH idk what the hype was about but definitely not worth spending your money

Yelp
I was on a business trip to Philly, I found this place thru Yelp. Great food good price, I had the Combo Deal $53 99 with Dungeness Crab, 1lb Crawfish and 1lb Black Mussel. I had it spicy and came perfect, steamy in a Dome Bag nice presentation see the photos, there was plenty of food for one person. They serve 3 full cluster of Crabs I barely could finish it all. I enjoyed it, the next time I am in town, I would pay them another visit.
