New Americans Museum

This small place offers insight into immigration of yesterday and today. This is a place of hope for tomorrow. Today is not a busy day. I reviewed upcoming events so I will return. This is one of many free museums in this area, and worth a visit.

I went on a wrong day so it was empty. Really good for people who want to understand the impact of cultural diversity.

Great place, was just passing by...

The New Americans Museum is a beautiful, intimate space in Liberty Station. The museum celebrates immigration and the wonderful people that make up America. I am especially grateful for this museum because they hosted a student exhibition for one of our schools. They clearly have a commitment to the community. Our students were able to showcase their projects around immigration and it was the perfect educational tie in. What a great space. I highly recommend supporting this museum!

We just came to the area to look at a little art and enjoy the food. I didn't even know this museum exists. The stories and related art were beautiful. I had a reaction of deep emotion. With the anti-immigrant experience currently in this country, this museum is significantly important.

I took my 50 juniors to see this exhibit and it was a wonderful quick introduction to the themes that have created Jewish-American history. I was pleased to see not only early history (1600's) but the value placed on pop culture. Hooray for a succinct and beautiful look at an important group of American.
