The NYC BBQ Delivery Guide - New York - The Infatuation

"Like many of the places on this list, The Barbecue Pit has chicken and rib combos, pulled pork sandwiches, and chili cheese dogs on its menu. We just thought you should know that this Bronx spot is also a great option for vegetarians - they’ve got everything from biryani and veggie burgers to eggplant sandwiches and quesadillas." - nikko duren

We recently ordered a whole roasted pig in this restaurant. For $495.00 for a whole roasted pig, you expect to see all the parts of it except for the organs. We were so shock to see the inside hollow. I don't know what happened to the belly of this lechon. There was no bottom of this roasted pig. It was just being held up by its ribs. I don't think this is right, and I don't think this is fair to the consumer. You pay $495 for a whole roasted pig, you should get a whole pig, with no missing parts.

I don't know what all the negative reviews are about, and I don't usually write reviews but the food here really is downright DE-LIC-IOUS, decent portions (which is important to me, I eat at alot of places & portion size can be a deal-breaker regardless of how good a places food may taste) and they don't rip you off when the bill is due, VERY tasty and tender bbq, and always cooked fresh. Also the owners are very pleasant people. The only heads up I would give is that they don't have much seating inside but anybody that is a foodie knows usually some of the BEST spots have limited to no seating (Idk why but it's a just the way it is) ....they do have plenty of outdoor seating for the hotter seasons and plenty of parking around back. So don't expect to be able to eat inside if you come in a big group in the dead of winter, but the food is a must try.

Tess (owner) very friendly and accommodating! The chef (owner’s son) excellent cook! Food tasty and affordable…definitely a place to cone back in Bergenfield area.

I came here on a Sunday afternoon because I was craving for authentic Filipino lechon (not lechon belly). I ordered food to-go and I am definitely so glad that I tried this place! The lechon itself is very flavorful. It is definitely Cebu-style lechon, with a crispy skin and a juicy, flavorful meat. The lechon sauce was also really good and tasted homemade. It was a perfect accompaniment to the lechon. It was also priced well- only $20/lb and they usually serve it during weekends. The crispy pata was also very good. The skin was perfectly crispy and the meat was tender and flavorful. The dipping sauce was also legit, with a nice balance of spicy, tart, and umami flavors. The owner, Louie, and Nanay (I forgot to get her name) were very nice and accommodating. They were happy to answer my questions about the food and they gave me some recommendations. I can't wait to go back to try the other dishes on their menu. I'm especially intrigued with the lechon sisig!

Google
That place went downhill when the son took over. The lechon per pound looks like it came from a dumpster; there are burnt parts with pig hair and it does not look like your lechon came from one pig,. It's wild the people still go there. It's also dirty; even if you paid me, I would not get food there.

Google
What a waste of money! Won't coming back for sure. To say I'm disappointed is an understatement. The lumpia doesn't resemble a lumpia, can't discern the grilled pork belly - it's sloppy and greasy and burnt. Same with the pork barbecue which looks more like a charcoal. Hoping the java rice would save it but it's bland to say the least.

Google
This place used to be good but it has gone downhill. I’ve heard so many complaints and it’s sad that this place represents filipino food in some way lol. The quality is terrible super greasy and cooked super quick. Most recently we ordered Lechon Kawali and they gave us Kare Kare. And they didn’t even bother to make it look presentable. Unbelievable. There are definitely better places!

My teenage son and I were hungry after leaving the allergist. As we were walking around the area, we happened to see the sign for this restaurant and were intrigued. We ordered the delicious crispy pork and 2 portions of collard greens with tomatoes. Everything was delicious! Louie was very friendly and helpful. We saw other people coming in to order whole roast pigs from him for various large gatherings. We will be back to try other items on the menu like the brisket! Thanks, Louie!

Yelp
I ordered for takeout and the lechon and the sauce that came with it are pretty good. However, they only serve it on weekends and you can order by the pound.

Daniel L.

Yelp
Great lechon all year round. They sell it by the pound, which is even better; no need to buy the entire pig.

Yelp
This review is based solely off an order of lechon (whole roasted pig) that my family got for our Father's Day celebration. The ordering process was quick and simple. I told the man on the phone I wanted lechon and he said they have 3 different sizes: small, medium, and large. Being that my family is quite large (in number and size) and we're a bunch of savages, I ordered the large. I was prepared to pay by credit card over the phone, but I was informed that the price would increase by 3%. An annoyance, but at least they let me know before taking my information. I placed my order and Friday for pickup on Sunday. I would've had it delivered but I was told it would be an extra $40-50. Save your money and just pick it up yourself; the store has parking spots in the back and a lechon should be able to fit in just about any car. Picking up the pig was quick and painless. I paid by check to avoid that 3% fee and I was out the door in a minute or two. The place was small but it looked clean. The pig itself was great. The skin was perfectly crunchy and the meat inside was juicy with the right amount of fat. It was $298.55 for a large lechon which is a lot but sometimes you gotta indulge. Everyone in my family probably dropped a year in life expectancy but as with anything, it's a trade off. New BBQ Pit is the new family go-to for lechon.

Yelp
I used to love this place... probably it still was the original owner.. Carlos Cancio. Now the "NEW" owner can't handle big orders. We placed one order of lechon for Christmas day the 25th at 2pm. When I arrived to pick up, they said it won't be ready until 6pm. We had our reunion at 3pm, what do we serve our guests...? The manager/owner could not even come up with a solution... oh they did... 1 free atsara... Look for somewhere else to get lechon

Yelp
We ordered an extra large lechon at $360 for a party of 50 people. Does this "extra large" lechon look like it's enough? This is not worth $360. We bought 8 trays of food for $400. Do not come here to order your lechon. Go somewhere else to get your money's worth.

Yelp
I've always gone to Mama Fina's for sisig and Tuesday is my day off so usually I like to order fIlipino food. I usually order for pickup and they are quick when answering the phone. I've ordered their lumpia, sisig & kare kare. All very good! It's hard for me to find good kare kare but I trust their spot (not as good as my moms kare kare though). Their sisig is definitely a favorite of mine since they don't use too much oil or grease when cooking it. They are a little pricey but I don't mind it since they do give a lot even in size. My only con about this spot is the wait. Usually they'll tell me a time and when I arrive, I will be waiting longer than the time that was given to me. It's not a big deal since I am patient! Love this place and would recommend for Filipino parties. Back when my family ordered lechon they never disappointed me!

Yelp
Recently ordered catering from New BBQ Pit and I was very pleased. We ordered half of a whole roasted pig (Lechon), full tray of fried chicken, and a full tray of Lumpia Shanghai. The portions are large and the pricing is very reasonable. Everyone at the party was impressed by the succulant roasted pig. The skin was nice and crispy and the meat was fairly tender. The gravy that it came with complemented it very well. If you know Mama Tomas sauce, it's like that but homemade and yummier. A friend recommended the fried chicken so we were sure to order that as well. At room temp, it was decent, but once reheated the chicken had a nice crisp and the flavor was more pronounced. A full tray of Lumpia Shanghai contains 100 pieces! That is a giant portion for just around $30. There could have been more meat in the roll, but the crowd still liked it. The sweet and sour dipping sauce was also very good and it was probably homemade bc it didn't taste like it was from a bottle. Overall, had a good experience with New BBQ Pit and will be sure to stop by when I'm in Bergenfield.

Yelp
I was worried after reading some of the recent Yelp reviews but a lechon ordered early May 2023 was great, just as good as the ones we got pre-covid. No problems with being available at the right time either.

Yelp
We found this by doing a search on Yelp and decided to give it a try. We wanted to sit outside on a beautiful spring day and this place fit the bill. Yes be forewarned that this is not your Famous Daves BBQ but still delicious. We split the chicken & rib meal, $9? it was very good but the chicken needed a bit more meat. The ribs were simply amazing. Other reviewers are right, the place needs some TLC and a bit of maintenance and yard work but if you're in the area stop by.

Yelp
DON'T EVER EVER ORDER LECHON FROM THIS STORE!!! The lechon we had last Saturday was devoid of belly!!! I only noticed it when I was looking for the belly as that was my favorite part of the lechon, only to find out that the belly portion is missing. When we took the lechon from the box, we didn't notice as the side part of the lechon covered the inside and we lifted the lechon with the paper on the base to transfer it to the lechon tray. They cut the belly part and put the pork on fire. No fats any more as the fat melted during roasting and the ribs inside the pork were burned as they were exposed to the fire. It was like skeleton!!! Not much meat, maybe they carved out the meat from the inside. This store is sooo full of crap in doing business. Two of my friends who ordered from them have the same complaint. We tried to call them, but they were not picking up the phone. I have pictures of the lechon to prove my case. If they can't cook real lechon, why go into that business??? I really hope they will close shop if they won't change the way they do business!!! I showed the pictures to my friends, so they won't order from this store anymore. Daisy G.

Yelp
We used to really enjoy coming here, but now things have really gone worse. Spending $400 on a huge lechon that we couldn't eat because we were given the male pig was a waste. The lechon and the sauce were once outstanding, but have now gone downhill. You'd expect the food to taste well, considering how much they charge. It's not worth your time to visit here. I won't be returning to this place again. I don't recommend this store.

Yelp
My parents ordered a whole roast pig for Christmas as we had friends and family coming over for Christmas dinner. They had arranged for a suckling pig to be cooked on the 25th (yes they were open). The price was $190 for a 25 lb lechon. I went there at 4 pm, Christmas day to pick it up, and the price suddenly went up to $225 for the roast pig (and then there was also tax of course). The excuse for the increase in price was because my parent's order was "UPGRADED" to a younger pig, supposedly more tender than your regular suckling pig. (As if there are ADULT pigs that weigh between 27-30 lbs, our upgraded pig was called "lechon de leche" as if i didn't know.... suckling pigs drink milk....really guys?). Having the need to come home with a roast pig as it was our centerpiece for the dinner, I went ahead and paid the extra 20% increase in price because it was CHRISTMAS DAY and no one else was open. The rest of the family arrived, and immediately asked us where we got the pig. After going through their own personal stories of similar price gouging by Barbeque Pit, I wish my parents knew before hand. My other relatives live in Dumont and Bergenfield so they used to go there too. Oh, and the pig was underdone. It started bleeding in the brown cardboard box (it was not a clear liquid, so yes, it was partially raw) that they use as a liner/transport, so we had to make arrangements to make the pork safe to eat once home. It's Christmas day and we made the best of what we could, but they lost patrons today. Yes, I am writing this right before Christmas dinner because it was not the experience I was expecting from fellow "kababayans" on this special day. ~be prepared for the extra 3% surcharge as well for using the SQUARE app if you're using a credit card.

Yelp
BBQ ribs done right. This place really only needs one thing on the menu and it's their ribs. I haven't tried much else (actually nothing else) because there's no need. The ribs are all you need and you can get the special that comes with a choice of side. There is a list of sides, but I only get the garlic rice every time. It complements the ribs very well and I am Asian, so i need rice every meal lol. I think the reason why the ribs are so good is because of their homemade sauce. It's a mix of spicy and sweet and awesome. And you can put some on the rice to make it even better. SO GOOD. Although, it was spicier back a few months, it's still good. I think they like to mix it up a bit and try new things with their sauce and that's fine by me. Maybe people said it was too spicy? But that's the best flavor, imo. If you're lucky to be in the area, stop by this place and get some ribs!

Yelp
Small sit-in spot w outdoor seats...I came here for the BBQ, but when I saw kambing(goat) on the menu, I had to give it a try & there were no regrets. It was freshly cooked, spicy w tomato paste/potatoes...NOT OILY .. Delish! Every review talked up their BBQ & I understand completely after trying their BBQ chicken which lived up to the positive comments. For Garlic lovers ..their Garlic Rice is must HAVE... ..their garlic rice is overpowering compared to any other Filipino restaurant I've eaten at..Hands down..Tasty & not greasy!

Yelp
Found them in Yelp when we first moved into the area, wouldn't think much of the place by the outside and expect the same when you go inside. It looks like it's an all family establishment, and by me saying that that means the food taste like it was prepared in the Grandma's kitchen. It's soooo good, the BBQ chicken has a new and exciting taste. The roast pig is cooked to perfection. Only taking off a star because they can do a little update of the business, but other than that... can't go wrong here!

Yelp
Delicious and authentic Filipino BBQ joint. Owners are from pampanga region. The Pig roast aka lechon is worth the 60 minute drive. Kare kare is delicious! Peanut butter content was perfect. BBQ sticks both pork and chicken were savory and tangy with the right amount of "ang hang". Dinuguan was perfectly cooked. Could have used the some more chopped up meat; otherwise really good.

Yelp
I cannot emphasize how good the lechon is from this company. Very good, excellent service. A classic Filipino get together is made in part thanks to this place and I am very glad with their services. They also have lumpia sisig and kare kare. Very amazing place.

Yelp
I'm glad Im found this place. A co-worker told me about this place when we were talking about lechon and other unhealthy food. We came here after work and it wa very quiet. Seems like they do most of their business on catering. We ate outside because it was a nice day. We got sigsig, ribs, lechon, collar green and garlic rice. The collar green was needed to make it semi healthy. It was a very good meal if your into pork. There is parking in the back. Too bad Bergenfield is not a place is not on my radar.

Yelp
Was supposed to go to Little Manila, but the current heatwave knocked down their a/c, so they closed for repairs yesterday. We went here because me and my friends haven't eaten at New Bbq Pit in years but occasionally order whole lechon for gatherings. So we went in, looked at the menu and were still undecided, then one of the proprietor/owners said that if we wait 30 minutes we could get fresh lechon 'out of the oven'. My friends mulled it over for a few minutes thinking that we can get freshly cooked/chopped lechon for lunch just like in the Philippines. Of course the thought was irresistible so we went ahead and ordered 2 lbs of lechon ($14/lb) laing, soft shell crab and chicharon bulaklak and copious amounts of rice for our meal. Everything but the lechon came out good. WE GOT DUPED! For $14 a pound, they should've been true to their word. Instead the lechon we got had really tough skin and the meat doesn't even peel off if it was just cooked even a few hours before serving. Looks like the lechon was the previous nights' batch. With that being said, since we were LIED to, we are not coming back here. I'll tell my friends and family to order lechon somewhere else from here on. To all, when ordering the lechon for your meal, be cautious.

Yelp
After having a failure early dinner at Bangkok garden in Hackensack, NJ, my friend and I were eager to experience a truly good rated place to eat. Spending for two dinners at a night, we tried to look for inexpensive place. We went to Bergenfield from Palisades Park and it was pretty close distance. We arrived into their parking lot, without realizing it was just 10 mins before listed close time, 9 PM. We walked into this small but clean, cozy place, the owner lady friendly welcomed us. She said since she lives upstairs of the building, it's okay for us to take our time. We had $7 dollar dinner dish for each of us: two BBQ pork skews with garlic rice, and 3 chicken BBQ with garlic rice. Both were very well cooked and soft unlike the dry paper garbage meat we had at Bangkok garden earlier that day. And for less than half of regular soup price, she let us order an half size soup which wasn't listed on the menu, instead of full size soup. The soup was big enough for both of us and delicious with the silky pork belly inside of it. We had interesting, friendly conversation with the owner lady and headed out. I am glad we were able to end the night with full stomach after horrible experience at Bangkok garden earlier that day. I am definitely coming back to this place for Roasted Pig as the owner lady told us about the weekend sales for small portion.

Yelp
Note: The cuisine here is NOT to be mistaken for typical, American Barbecue. Note 2: For those looking for AUTHENTIC Filipino cuisine, this is a fantastic place. New Barbecue Pit is a wonderfully, family owned establishment that started out by the father roasting pigs for friends and family... Filipino style. Prices for a whole roast pig are very reasonable - starting at $159 for 30lb. An additional $15 for it to be prepared Cebu style, which is such a treat. Traditional Filipino dishes are available here... and are a godsend to people like me who don't have the time and never really learned how to cook it properly. For those in the area that want something easy to try, ask for a Barbecue Stick. It's only $2.25 and quite tasty. Perfectly cooked, soft, and tasty. My boyfriend kept begging me to give him one, but I couldn't since it was just cooked and still piping hot. Because of the quality of all the food they have, I have no problem driving an hour from Connecticut to indulge myself in simple, fantastic food.

Yelp
The only thing that comes into my mind when I left this spot was....SUBPAR!!! The place from the outside was very inviting with the new sign and all but once you get inside it's a whole new story. Stacks of water bottles, sodas, etc are near the entrance, a big drum of a garbage can with no cover is in the eating area, bottles and bottles of almost empty hot sauces were on the window sill(i mean come on fill that sh*t up), sticky tables, the fridge where they have their meats marinating shares with the soda/water bottles they serve to the customer and to top it all of, one of the owners kept fly swatting these big flies!!! I ordered the grilled pork with the garlic rice and the garlic rice can be too "garlicky" for some but I was ok with it and the grilled pork was juicy. My suggestion to the owner(s), clean your place up, ORGANIZE it, put tables and chairs outside as well to attract more patrons. What you think Paul? What you think?

Yelp
solid lechon karrali (pan roasted lechon,) was fatty in the best kind of way, good coconut water here. inexpensive prices. I would recommended it but quite simply I've had Filipino food probably 2 or 3 times.

Yelp
This place was stop #2 on the lechon tasting circuit, and overall, the food isn't bad. Between the three of us, we ordered pancit palabok, kare kare, sisig, sinangag, and lechon. Their pancit is quite good, with large chunks of fried, crispy pork in it. Their sisig was also very crispy and flavorful. However, their kare kare left much to be desired (no complexity of flavor, just plain peanut butter) and their lechon was dry, with skin that wasn't very crunchy. Their lechon sauce is very good though, which makes up for it a bit, but objectively, their lechon isn't amazing. If I lived nearby, I would probably come for the palabok and the sisig, and probably get a few bottles of the lechon sauce. But this isn't going to be my lechon place for graduation.

Yelp

Yelp
I loveee New BBQ Pit! So far I've only gotten two dishes from here - the grilled teriyaki pork belly ($6.95) and the half BBQ chicken w. garlic rice lunch special ($6.25!). The flavor of the pork belly was fine, although the texture was a bit dryer than expected (it may be that I'm used to more tender pork belly a la Chinese dishes). It was the half BBQ lunch special, however, that blew me away! They give such a generous portion of chicken; I remember looking down at the succulent pieces and my mouth slightly falling agape -- and it was all so tender, delicious, and flavorful. I actually hate the taste of BBQ, but the Filipino-style BBQ was just perfect and tangy, and it never tasted overly cloying after awhile. It was my first time tasting garlic rice, and I was wary, but the fragrant fluffy side turned out to be a perfect complement to the saucier chicken. For $6.25, the dish is a total steal. Quite tragically, I was only able to try the garlic rice once -- the subsequent times I would order from New BBQ Pit, they conveniently ran out of it :( (and after having garlic rice, clumpy + sticky white rice is a sad, paltry letdown...) Anyway, next time I order, I know I'll be torn, as per usual, between getting my guaranteed favorite, or trying any of the other various dishes on the menu. But I -will- definitely go back there again :)

Yelp
A very close friend raved about this place and she was trustworthy enough when it came to food. Boy did I get tricked. At first glance, wow a mom and pop restaurant, this has to be good, plus they are Filipino! I thought nothing could have went wrong. Parking in the rear is great on a slow day but could not imagine this place fully occupied and then trying to escape the parking lot. Inside, expecting this place to be medium sized due to the size of the house, it was TINY! They have a poor excuse for a buffet line and the seating arrangements inside were horrible. They had two tables (one against the wall and the other right next to it) that did not match connected to each other with 6 seats. Two tables, six seats, think about it. Area was very tight and was not very pleased with the setup. So thinking I didn't come here for furniture but for the food. Pork Sisig looked like it was corn beef. My wife's eggplant entree looked like it was mashed up, BBQ looked fresh but a little over cooked. So the taste, the Sisig was a not spicy and not as good as Mama Fina's House of Sisig. Also a bit sour, my wife tried to eat the eggplant entree but she couldn't, and finally the BBQ was GREAT! The ribs literally fell off the bone, the chicken was soft and charred in the utmost correct ways. A little bit dry but was very appetizing. Marination was almost there but their needs to be more flavor. Presentation is nothing to be thrilled about, if you are one of those people who eat with their eyes, you will be turned away. Overall, stick with the BBQ. Do not try anything else, if we hadn't ordered the BBQ I would have given this a 1star. I understand why you never order pork in a seafood restaurant, stick to what the restaurant is famous for, the BBQ. I recommend this for the BBQ fix, nothing else.

Yelp
Hands Down, Every time i go to eat here, it just reminds me of home in the Philippines. It is just rare to find that tastes exactly from the Philippines, but i am thankful that this restaurant is here, because they have nailed it right!

Yelp
I rate this place 0. We will never go back again! We ordered 1/4 Lechon, it cost us $110.00. We got 3 ears! They gave us scraps, it's look like a trash. Yuck!!!

Yelp
I have been here several times because it is conveniently on my way home from work. I agree with a few other posters that the place seems very unorganized and cluttered, almost to the point of being gross. The outside needs a lot of attention. A few of the dinners I got were decent, and a few seemed to be not as fresh.....not rotten or sour, just the dry (leftover refrigerator taste) that I wasn't too happy about paying for. Not horrible, but not spectacular by any means, just ok.

Yelp
One of the best BBQ places I've gone to in Jersey. TO BE CLEAR, the BBQ here is not what you would find in a traditional Southern style barbecue place, but rather its filipino style BBQ and cuisine. The BBQ ribs are awesome. I always get them whenever I go there (which is often). They're served grilled and tender, almost falling off the bone. Also good choices are the sinigang baboy, dinuguon, and sisig. A co-workers parents always go there when they need a whole roasted pig (lechon) for parties. They like this place so much that they drive about an hour from their home to pick it up!! It's always cooked to perfection. I'm not sure what happened to the other commenter on here but I'm sure that their experience was the exception and not the norm.

Yelp
I came by today to try sig sig for the first time. Walking in at 1230 (read: lunch rush) and there was no one around. Immediately became nervous. No need to be nervous. Placed my order for sig sig and greens. Spicy. Freshly made by a grandma. High level of deliciousness on the sig sig. Had an element of sichuan pepper that numbed my mouth for a moment. Nice touch. Took a nap, Didn't eat for the rest of the day.

Yelp
New Barbecue Pit popped up on my radar during an innocent drive-by and after dropping in, ordering a pulled pork sandwich, and falling in love, I can officially call myself a fan. Since ordering the pulled pork a few times, I've gotten the ribs and enjoyed them thoroughly. Had an encounter with some cheesy meat bowl thing which was completely different than what the menu suggested and it tasted horrible. I wish I remembered the name so I could warn everyone to stay away.

Yelp
Small restaurant with not a lot of seating but the sisig is out of this world!!! The sauce that accompanies it adds an extra layer of flavor on your palate. I wouldn't dine in but a great takeout spot. Great price on your dinner. Paid less than $10 for each meal.

Yelp
First off, this is Filipino BBQ. Now that being said, order the ribs and enjoy the best damn Asian inspired ribs you've ever had and ever will have. No clue about the rest of the menu. Have always ordered the ribs every time I've come here and I can't get myself to try anything else because of how good they are.

Yelp
This review is based on the service, or lack thereof, and not the food. I'm doing some homework on where to get a whole roasted pig for the holidays and I came across New BBQ Pit on the internet. The reviews seemed okay and the place is about a 10 minute drive from my house. I arrived to the restaurant last night around 7:30pm to order some takeout food for me and my family and the doors were locked - I remember seeing on their website that they close at 9pm. I knocked on the door and this guy comes around from the back of the restaurant and looks at me with apprehension. He unlocked and cracked the door open ever so slightly while maintaining a firm grip on the handle. He said very rudely, "what do you want"? I asked him if he was closed because again it stated the restaurant closes at 9pm. He asked me again what I wanted, and I responded by saying, "I want food but I guess not from here". I'm baffled as to how a small mom & pop restaurant treats their customers. Not only was I about to spend good money that night but was going to be a potential repeat customer by placing a large catering order for the holidays. I'm deeply disappointed with their demeanor and I'll take my business elsewhere.

Yelp
I ordered from this place on a whim. I was adamant on having a roasted pig for my birthday, but had horrible past experiences with other places. Not knowing whether or not a pig for 50 people at nearly $300 would do the trick, I decided to just order and if it sucked, so be it. Not only was the pig delicious, but the sauce that was included made it that much more enjoyable. From the staff to the devouring of that poor pig, I am glad I found this place and took a chance! Now, 1 year later, I will be having another birthday and will be ordering the same sized pig this weekend. Can't wait!!!

Yelp
Unfortunately I don't eat here as much as I wish I could, but this place is delicious. It might be the best tasting food in the area, especially for the price. Before this place I never had Filipino food, but their sisig is one of the best things I've ever tasted. The pulled pork is good, and the barbeque chicken is awesome. I've tried one of the noodle dishes and that was pretty good as well. I'm dying to try one of the whole roast pigs, but I haven't found an occassion yet. The place itself is alright; I wouldn't mind eating there for lunch. But it's not really a place to go for a sit down dinner; you'd be better off taking out.

Yelp
We dropped in around 8PM, tiny place. Needs a little cleaning or updating or both on the inside. Whatever. Ordered a pulled pork sandwich, fries and a soda. Boyfriend ordered 4 ribs, fries, soda, and we both ordered coleslaw. Our bill total was only $21 and change. Really cheap, big portions. The fries were real potatoes cut up and fried, which is always a nice surprise, so tired of those bagged frozen fries. Coleslaw was ok, I wish the cabbage and all was cut up into smaller pieces but that's just my personal preference. My sandwich was good. I actually took the bun off and ate the meat, and was thrilled to find no fat or anything unwanted in it! I know that sounds weird but every time I order pulled pork somewhere I always feel like there's some gross chunk of fat or something or too much sauce and not enough meat. I felt this was perfect, and the meat was absolutely delicious. My boyfriend also enjoyed his ribs and they were way bigger than I thought they would be. I hope we go back for more, maybe we'll try to the filipino food next time!

Yelp
Went here because we drove by and it caught my boyfriend's eye. He was expecting American style BBQ, not Filipino, but quickly found food he wanted. Not much for me, as I don't eat pork, but my bf LOVED his pulled pork sandwich. I got the mixed veggies and garlic rice, and the veggies were AWESOME!!! Very flavorful, and not too salty. They were perfect over the rice. I really liked my banana (I think plantain) spring roll, too. Fries were fresh and just the right saltiness and greasiness. If you do like pork, I would definitely try it, as the food was fresh and ridiculously inexpensive. If they ever add more chicken dishes, I will certainly go more often.

Yelp
I ordered 4 lbs of lechon for pick up yesterday[Sept 1, 2018. I've waited almost an hour to have my order but waited patiently. When I arrived home, half of it were pig ears, parts of the snout and portions of the feet. There was not much meat to it! At $15 a pound, it was a rip off. My uncomplaining demeanor got me suckered. No such thing as KAPWA PINOY. They don't deserve a star.

Yelp
Two years in a row I've ordered the entire roast pig for my July 4th parties. I'm going to order another this year!

Yelp
See Tips - I mistakenly left my review there. The 2 stars are for the BBQ sauce & the garlic rice- that's it! There has to be better options in this area. I'll let u know when I find anything worthy. In the meantime would appreciate tips from fellow Yelpers :)

Yelp
Ordered the BBQ on stick & ribs both were very good and fresh. Will certainly be ordering from here. My Filipino friends always do their catering from here so you know it's good!

Yelp
We got lumpia shanghai, best one I have had; half bbq chicken, it's all chopped up for u; pork bbq on the stick is good but too much fat on the meat; pancit palabok, I think the noodle is too mushy but my hubby loves the taste and he would order again. Overall, good food, cheap price, will definitely go back and try other food.
