New China King

This used to be the only Chinese food I wanted but they completely fell off. I've never in my life hated everything I ordered and I ordered several things. Rice was tasteless... Ribs were dry and hard to chew, egg rolls chewy... chicken too salty. I literally about to trash my food now. I noticed the changes but kept giving it another chance. It's safe to say I will never order from there again.

For years, I have been a customer but the last few times I have ordered, the woman who answers the phone has been a little sassy but today she was very rude. She repeated my address wrong and I very politely corrected her, and she responded with “I know give me your number man!” I understand that sometimes it is difficult to stay calm during busy hours but they must put someone professional who attends customers well because without customers their restaurant would fall apart.

ordered something at this restaurant and they messed up with my order. When I called to complain, the guy who answered the call got upset and told me that I had never called the restaurant and that if I continued bothering him, he would spit in my food. What kind of place is this?

They play games with the prices and I especially told them separate my food into small orders for each thing you see and they put it together. Guess I learned and they lost a customer. Stop acting you dont understand me either when I catch you out in the BS when you take my order as well. Cause the next customer may not be so nice when you cheat them.

I have been a customer of this place since the time they were on the west side of Stamford. The service has gone down and the food has not been the best. The delivery takes forever, I have received my food more than an hour after I ordered. Today I got my food and the shrimp egg roll smelled really bad. I did not eat it and I am highly disappointed. The only decent thing would be fried rice and chicken wings.

Order was extremely late (2 hours late to be exact), staff was incredibly rude when I called. Didn’t even get a chance to ask if there was an issue before being shouted at that they make the food for me so they bring the food on their time… They told me the wait time was thirty minutes, but I waited longer before calling. Would’ve appreciated a nicer response, as I was in no way rude, I just said “hi, i placed an order two hours ago—“ then was interrupted by the shouting. On top of that, I wasn’t even given the correct order. Very unprofessional and rude business.

Been going here for almost two weeks man listen the beef lo mein and egg fried rice and cheese fried wontons is my new addiction lol their food is well cooked fresh and I got a very cool calendar with my food today

This place kept me alive during a convention. Great food and prices. Delivery takes a bit tho.

A friend of mine ordered food from here Thursday nite. She has a stomach virus now, and it slowed our road trip up by 2 days, she was brought to St Josephs Hospital in NJ. I asked her, where does she think, it came from, she said her Chinese food, so I told her to tell me the name of the place, to read reviews. I noticed someone said it is not up to health codes, and that they also got sick, that was 4 years ago. You guys need to do better

My mom and dad work there and I will say there food is delicious my favorite is the chicken and broccoli

HORRIBLE customer service..... Placed order for food at 8:00PM on a Monday night and did not receive food until 9:17PM. I live 6 min from this fckin place.. Called multiple times and was informed the driver had left and was on his way, should be 5 min.. NOT with the wait..........

i love this place. best chinese food in stamford hands down. cheap and quick. these other reviews are from people expecting gourmet michelin star meals, new china king has always been amazing. Their food to my family tastes like a night in watching a movie and grubbing. Not to mention the lady upfront knows spanish, english, and mandarin!! in a predominantly latino neighborhood, this fr stands out to me. They are quick, easy, and kind. Not sure how these reviews are saying they never got their food because one time they forgot my crab rolls and their son chased me down before i got to my car to make sure they gave them to me. These people work their ass off and it really shows, that's amazin. I'm off to college soon and i'm sure as hell gonna miss this place a lot. New china king has been my fam and i's go to and their food reminds me of being home in stamford, if you want cheap and quick chinese food, this is the place to go!!!!!

Solid Chinese food in Stamford. Nothing amazing but really stands out against the other options. That's what pushed me over to 4 stars. I've only had the chicken and broccoli with an egg roll, but it was delicious. Can't believe it took me so min to find this gem.

I have ordered from this restaurant for many years and I love how affordable and delicious the food is. I think that people tend to overlook hidden gems like this. I recommend the chicken wings, chicken with broccoli and sesame chicken. Definitely check this place out and recommend your friends!

First time we got mostly onions, no meat. I forgot to not to order from this place and yesterday I ordered food for $37 and it never arrived , they wont do anything about it...so now I have to dispute the charges with my bank...

I would give this minus points but want you to know that they are rude and inept. Would not recommend

This place is amazing and has the best fried chicken wings and chicken with broccoli. I go here every weekend to get food for my kids and family also it is really good for events and birthdays and is super cheap.

Restaurant and kitchen are filthy. Health inspector should review this restaurant as soon as possible. Food is terrible and I wish I didn't need it. Made me sick!!

This is good local Chinese food. Extra meat is available for a nominal cost. Service is friendly and prompt. Located near a convenience stor and a liquor store so it is a one stop trip. Chicken & brocoli is excellent.

We had a delivery and the price on the menu is up charged.For the delivery which wasn't stated, and I was told they don't work with change.i paid 20 percent more!
