New Day Cafe

I tried the New Day combo with crepes. It was delicious 😋 and extremely filling. There was so much food that I took a few bites of the crepes. I am taking the leftovers home. Their service is exceptional. Not only was the food prepared quickly, but it was also hot. I also really enjoyed Mariana's attentive service. She was consistently filling my tea cup, grabbing more hot water, checking on me to see if I needed anything. She even informed me on how to get a discount on meals the next time I visit. If you are having a bad day, I am sure her smile and excellent service will brighten your day.

We eat here all the time and never disappointed. Food comes out fast and is always delicious . The staff all super friendly. Mario our server is the best.

I work at Albertsons and once a month treat myself to a lunch before they close. Absolutely the nicest people and hands down best chicken tortilla soup. My waiter even opens the door for me when I exit. Nothing but wonderful words for this little gem. Love it. Thank you for being so amazing:)

Run by a lovely family, who introduce themselves to the guests. Fast, friendly and efficient service. Great value food, will be back!

Not the best place. Pro: the food came out fast Cons: Expensive menu for very basic food. Kids meals cost more than at a chain restaurant and do NOT INCLUDE a drink. Waiters had a hard time communicating and difficulty understanding English. Staff was unable to figure out how to use a Mastercard gift card (it was active and used directly after at a store with no issue). I would not recommend this restaurant unless you are in dire need of food.

So far we have been here a couple of times. Nice customer service every time. Not busy. Food comes out pretty quick. Food was yummy both times. No complaints.

Mariana was very welcoming, she held the door as I walked in. she has such great energy I decided to dine in instead of takeout. place looks clean an the eggs on my breakfast sandwich was very fluffy, fruit bowl taste freshly cut. 2 THUMBS AND 2 TOE THUMBS UP!

We were visiting family and went for a walk in the early morning. Making our way down to Starbucks to get a coffee when we saw this place. We usually go local before corporate if we can and saw New Day. Went over to check it out. All the windows are tinted so you couldn't see in. As we stopped to see the menu and reviews on our phones, a waiter comes out and invites us in. Answered all our questions and brought us in and sat down. Cleaned up diner experience. Some older gentlemen and couples spread around having their "regular" which we like in a place like this. Our waitress was phenomenal. Explained some menu items, but it was really ask for it and you shall receive. We were looking for coffee and got a latte and a coffee. Both were just as good or better than Starbucks. Decided to split the 3 egg farmers omelette. It was delicious and they split the plate for us. Waitress stopped to chat with us multiple times. I don't know when we will be back in town but would stop here on our walk again!

This place has massive portions! So big I need two mouths to down it all. And Raul their server is an awesome dude. Super friendly vibes.

Serving the most Americanized Mexican food ever!! I called to place a take-out order. I told Mario, "The order is for Darrell. That's D-A-RR-E-LL," which is how I always spell "Darrell" when I'm on the phone. When Darrell arrived, he gave his name to a waitress who replied "The only take-out order we have is for Bill." So glad I spelled out D-A-RR-E-LL for Mario. Hubby picked up a Breakfast Burrito for himself and Huevos Mexicana for me. Hubby ate his Breakfast Burrito and said that it was "adequate" and commented on how this place had, at one time, been good. Other than the fact that there were some refried beans and a few soggy tortilla chips on my plate, there was nothing Mexican about the Huevos Mexicana. And the refried beans were just that: beans. No chorizo. No spice. Nothing. Darrell tells me they no longer have a cash register. Mario carries around a bag with bills; and coins are in a jar. Shortly after finishing his Breakfast Burrito, my husband developed gastro issues. He was sick-ish (nauseous, stomach cramps, frequent runs to the bathroom) until early evening. It will be a very long time before we order take-out from New Day Cafe again. If you look at all of my reviews of New Day Cafe over the years, you'll notice that inconsistency is the constant.

So great to have a good breakfast/lunch option in the neighborhood. Food is always good and service great‼

My Mom and I have been in a few times. The food is delicious , at a Awesome price. Mario is an excellent Server. Extremely friendly always checking to make sure you don't need anything.

I wanted to love this place, but there's room for improvement. First off, the place is your standard cafe; nice, clean and the staff is super friendly. Food, unfortunately, is mediocre at best. I had the Reuben, which you can see came with two slices of corned beef. Toasted rye was great, it had all the potential to be a good sandwich - but it was more of a sauerkraut sandwich. At $13.49, they need to put a lot more corned beef on there to make it decent. Maybe they're better at breakfast? Doubt we'll be back to find out, sorry!

New Day Cafe is my local weekend breakfast staple. Every Saturday after my morning walk, I always visit for fresh coffee and eggs. Always clean, super friendly staff and good home cooking. Always 5 star food AND service! Thanks New Day for making my day!

Our waitress Dulce was fantastic! Quick service with a nice smile. This is our new favorite breakfast & lunch spot in Anthem. Buttermilk pancakes are on point. Cactus omelette and Sprinter omelette with homemade pico to Gallo. Yum! Nice ambiance and good coffee. What else do I need? Nothing- very satisfied.

This has become our new favorite Sunday breakfast spot. It's local, quick and everyone is friendly. We always leave here happy and full! Sometimes we have come and it's been packed while other times there are just a few customers. It is worth it for both breakfast and lunch. I always go for the cinnamon roll ... I mean come on who wouldn't?! My boyfriend and I each do the build your own omelet and then customize our sides. We have been here for lunch too and their BLT is awesome with a side of fries. You can also have sandwiches as a wrap which is always so nice. We stick to water to drink or juice or milk. This is a breakfast spot that doesn't serve alcohol so this is not your bottomless mimosa spot. But seriously, don't skip out on the cinnamon roll. Thank you to everyone at New Day Cafe! We look forward to our next visit.

the food here was very delicious. i got the breakfast burrito and it was absolutely amazing. we had the best server named mario. he was very funny and nice. the place was very clean and had good people running it. when we first walked in we were greeted immediately and sat down also immediately.

First time here at New Day Cafe. Was in the area for an event. Carolina was our server and was very nice and helpful. Had the chicken club sandwich with fries. It was awesome. Generous portions that I had to take some of it to go. The cafe has a tv with sports and a comfortable feel to it. I wish I lived closer because I would come here more often. Please give it a try if you get the chance.

Food was delicious! The ambiance and style of the restaurant are wonderful. The atmosphere is quiet and it's a nice place for breakfast or brunch with friends or family.

I live close by and have heard mixed reviews of New Day Cafe. I finally had a chance to stop in for lunch. It's located in the Albertsons plaza in Anthem. They are open daily from 7am - 3pm. When you walk in, you wait right by the door to be seated. It took a few minutes to be acknowledged and then we were escorted to a booth. The table was wiped down and clean but the booth seats were not. We ordered off of the lunch menu but breakfast is served all day. We got the kids chicken fingers with fries and the Philly cheesesteak with a cup of their chicken tortilla soup. The food comes out fairly quickly. It was decent, nothing worth returning for in my opinion. It's overpriced for what it is. The chicken tortilla soup was the best part of the meal. I would try them for breakfast in hopes that their breakfast options taste better than lunch.

Our server, Mario, was excellent. Our neighborhood cafe offers a wide variety of breakfast, lunch and brunch choices. The ambiance was comfortable. It's definitely worth a try for everyone especially those who live in Sun City or Inspirada. Craig P. Sun City Anthem

This little Cafe was such an awesome experience. Server Mario was attentive , with special attention to details. Breakfast was delicious! Had lunch there yesterday 5/29/2024. They were very busy but we were seated immediately. We ordered their egg salad sandwiches w fries. We also ordered an order of onion rings. Both the sandwiches and the onion rings were FANTASTIC! The food was delivered extremely quickly especially considering how busy they were!

New Day Cafe is a wonderful restaurant to eat at. I'm from California and have family in Las Vegas and whenever we travel here this is the spot to go. The food is delicious, the prices are reasonable, the ambiance is fun and relaxing and non- the less the service is outstanding. Mario is very professional and hardworking.

I've written a review before on this location, it's a good place with good food and the service is not bad. Normally they have a few servers but today they only had one but she was awesome. The place was busy and she worked hard and did her best. I like this place because the food is good and the prices are still cheaper than most other breakfast places. Before I finished and left, a few more employees came in, I'm guessing they started later thinking it would not be crowded because it was a holiday, however, the location of this place is surrounded by a lot of seniors living in the area so I don't know why they would think this would be a slow day. To the senior community, yes this is a special day, but in reality it's just another Monday to them. Being a holiday, I would expect it to be more busy because schools and some businesses are closed allowing people the opportunity to go out on a weekday. No matter what, I recommend this place because the food is good and the staff are always awesome.

New day is very fast and has quality food and service. Has a big variety of breakfast, brunch, and lunch foods. New day has treated us very well and we love eating there.

First time here for breakfast they have really great music excellent service. Mario helped us this morning and the food was fresh and fast. The decor inside is fantastic lots of booths for big party and small tables if you only have a few people. We ordered a variety of things off the menu and every dish was so good that I completely forgot to take pictures and inhaled my food. When you come in and Mario helps you out you will love his service. Super polite and attentive. Definitely worth the visit

Excellent service. Food was mediocre. The "three egg omelette" seemed flat and very small. The chef must have used quail eggs. Comparatively for the same money, nearby Broken Yolk Cafe is better.

Our favorite breakfast place since forever. We love coming here with kids, and without. The menu is simple and exactly what you need for a good breakfast or brunch.

I'm a regular with my family and we have had a lot of fond memories over the years. My grandmother and I used to come daily for the first few years we lived here. She recently passed this October and the cafe has been the absolute sweetest. While she was on hospice they asked about her every day we came in. They care and create a family friendly and very inviting ambiance. The food is still amazing and we've tried everything! As a military family they show their appreciation to those who have served, continue serving, and their families! We love New Day!

I know that the economy is not the greatest and it has definitely affected this place. The prices have gone up, the food amounts have gone down, and they are now selling trinkets like water bottles in the restaurant. I am sorry to say that I probably will look elsewhere for breakfast. Sorry!

Service was of high quality, it totally feels like mom and pop shop, very homey. I liked my food, so did my children; my husband ordered chilaquiles (big mistake) and he wasn't totally pleased. I don't recommend, in general, to eat chilaquiles in non-Mexican restaurants

Great local spot for a decent breakfast. The omelettes are delicious as are the crepes! We always get great service and it isn't usually too crowded or loud.
