New Dragon City Chinese Restaurant

We have ordered from here a few times. The food has been decent quality usually. We have found that some dishes are a waste because they're just filler veggies and about 2-5 small pieces of meat. Tonight it was a letdown. The kung pao chicken was all veggies and you had to search to find the chicken. The chicken chop suey was very very watery. It was difficult to open without spilling it. The egg rolls were good and the sweet & sour chicken was delicious as always. We will have to be very selective with what we order next time, if we order again from here.

I don’t like to complain or leave negative reviews but I feel like people should know how things taste before they order food from a new place. So here is my honest review. We got 2 combo plates that were below average, standard Chinese food. The food was very greasy, which is usually pretty normal for Chinese food like this, but this seemed extra greasy. I’m actually surprised I even noticed this though, considering the pool of sauce it was swimming in. My rice was soaked in it Some people like extra sauce and that’s fine, but I personally prefer my rice not to be soupy. I could have asked for it on the side, but then I would have had to pay. Also just a heads up to anyone with food dye sensitivity - the sweet and sour sauce left red stains on everything it touched, including my skin. The other dishes might be good, but I wouldn’t recommend ordering the combo plates.

I've been here a few times, every time has been "ok". The noodles, rice and veggies dishes were good, nice flavor and a decent amount. But every time I've ordered a meat dish, it's so disappointing. Mostly gravy and filler veggies (celery, onions, peppers) and very very few pieces of actual meat. That's what's so disappointing about this place...you pay so much for a bunch of veggies in sauce when it should be a MEAT dish...it's not at all. The flavors are ok, but the value for your $$ just doesn't match.

Always busy for take out. Mostly on time though. Nice having online ordering. Best food of its kind in Cambridge.

100% excellent food provided here. Highly recommend: Hot & Sour Soup, Fried Rice.

My food was delicious. I would recommend ordering their food anytime. But I will never again from a service stand point. Tonight I ordered at 7:37 on a Saturday night. 30 minutes later the restaurant calls me to tell me the delivery driver demands a buzz number to deliver to me. A place they have delivered 30x or more to. I inform them I have no buzz number and agree to meet the driver downstairs. It took this driver 14 minutes to arrive and proceeded to give me attitude about the delay when I asked why it took him this long. Not only that he didn’t have the proper change. And I was FORCED to tip $14 for this. My initial contact assured me he could break a $100 bill. You are thieves. And Silvio your driver should be dismissed immediately

We go to Dragon city at least once a month and they never let us down. Food is good the girls that take the orders are great and it's always quick hot and fresh. We have been going there for just over 5 years.
