"Sometimes, going to an AYCE operation can mean nagging a server to restock your bulgogi for the third time, but not at New Gangnam BBQ IV in Shoreline. Their finest contribution to the KBBQ universe is a $25 lunch special that features a refrigerated buffet of raw meats so that you can grab exactly what you want to cook—like particularly tasty marinated chicken, spicy pork, and cuts of frosty beef belly. Take advantage of the well-stocked banchan bar while you’re here, but just stay away from the “hot” bar of lukewarm gyoza, egg rolls, and wings. " - kayla sager riley

A nice clean restaurant right on Aurora avenue (right west from the Home Depot and Costco in Aurora Village) in Shoreline. We went there with a few friends during Friday afternoon, and it wasn’t too busy, so were seated right away. We chose the $40 per person deal where you can eat everything on the menu. There was so much to eat and we ended up choosing about 4-5 kinds of meat. If you want to treat someone who enjoys Korean BBQ, this place will take care of any hungry meat eaters!

We chose the $32 package, I think it’s enough for us, cuz the self serve bar has variety meats, veg, and hot food, even fruits! It’s a decent K-bbq with a lot of choices, but it’s the best bbq I had in Seattle so far

My experience at New Gangnam BBQ IV was largely enjoyable, as I found many aspects of the dining experience to be quite pleasing. While I appreciated the flavors of the meat, I did notice that it was slightly under-salted, though still enjoyable overall. One aspect that detracted from my experience was the wait time for service, which seemed a bit longer than expected. Additionally, the restaurant was quite crowded during my visit, which made the atmosphere a bit hectic and noisy. Despite these minor drawbacks, I still found New Gangnam BBQ IV to be a good dining option. The quality of the food, despite the slight seasoning issue, was satisfying, and the overall ambiance of the restaurant was pleasant. Overall, I would consider it a worthwhile dining destination, albeit one that may require a bit of patience during busy times.

I went today during lunch , it was quiet than I expected . But I did enjoy the quietness. I Picked the 36$ package . But I think I’ll pick the 30$ instead next time becuase everything at the bar already perfectly delicious. Their foods amazing , especially the pickled. I was the happiest customers this afternoon ^_^ . Can’t wait to go again . Again soon.

New Gangnam BBQ IV (the 4th location of the New Gangnam BBQs) is a pretty good place to get value KBBQ in the greater north Seattle area but comes with the caveat that everything is self-service. The meats were good quality and all the banchan side dishes were to my liking. There is different price tiers of AYCE depending on what cuts of meat you want. You can get AYCE kbbq for as cheap as $25/person. They also do al la carte menu items and combo sets as well. Food My friends and I came to do the lowest tier AYCE ($30) since it included the OG staples for us: beef brisket and pork belly. In addition to those cuts, we also tried the marinated bulgogi. Overall, the meat qualities were decent and did not have excessive amounts of fat. The bulgogi marinade wasn't too salty. The $30 AYCE option also comes with other meats such as pork, chicken, octopus, shrimp, or squid (did not try though). The meats are all self-service and you must go get whichever ones you want. Note that the pre-portioned into bowls that can be found in the fridge but you can grab as many as you'd like. The banchan side dishes were also all self-service as well. There is a variety of banchans available and they were all pretty good. There are non-traditional side dishes as well such as pot stickers, tempura, and eggrolls but these were just okay and seemed like they were out of a frozen package. There is a small area for sauces that are all self-service as well. There will be your typical brisket sauce or salt & pepper in sesame oil available. There are a ton of other non-traditional sauces as well though, such as yami yami sauce. Atmosphere There are primarily booth seating that will seat about 4 people comfortably with a grill built into the table. There are some tables with regular chairs as well. The interior looks good compared to some other kbbq places that I have been to and was clean. The noise level was not very loud during lunch time on the weekend. Casual. Pricing Pricing was pretty good for the AYCE menu and not overly expensive compared to other hot pot places. See my pictures associated with review for price tiers. There is open bar for sauces and appetizers so you can get as much as you want. Quality was good for what I paid. Service For AYCE everything is self-service when it comes to getting your food (banchan side dishes to meats). Surprisingly, water is not self-service. The server and staff were nice and helpful. Other Plenty of parking at the restaurant on a Saturday lunch. The entrance is located on the upper half of the building.

$30 all you can eat, shrimp and squid included. They also have spring rolls, chicken wings, coconut shrimp, pot stickers and variety of banchans. Service could be better though, no one came to clean the grill and you'll have to push the call button to get someone to come refill water glasses.

Clean restaurant. Love the buffet style AYCE. The price is a bit steep, but it's like that everywhere else too. Solid side dishes. Great selection of meat/seafood. Would definitely come back.

Such a great setup with all the can eat at a serve yourself bar for most things. Service was kind, and I wish they could have been more attentive checking in on the table and filling up waters. Maybe add a thing to fill your own water at the bar to solve this issue? Thanks; will be back!
