My new favorite kbbq place. They have one farther north if you want premium meats. I tend to like the un marinated thin sliced beef so this is perfect for me. I like the buffet concept and that you can take as much or little as you want which helps minimize food waste. And there’s sauces and seasoning readily available. Bonus you don’t have to deal with a bossy Oma

An all you can eat buffet with three price points. Most of the meats and veggies are in a bar in which you have to self-serve. You cook your own here with no assistance. Overall, this place was okay for the price point. It wasn't bad but the food is not particularly fresh. The scallops were rock hard frozen. So was the ribeye.

Did I order the wrong meat? I found it pretty average. Only the marinated beef belly was decent; the rest were just so-so. The spicy marinated raw octopus from the self-serve side dishes was amazing! But it was a bit too salty—highly recommend pairing it with some rice. Super tasty!

Highly recommend for lunch time! We had the all you can eat lunch, just $25 per person. It is so fresh! A huge variety of sides and the kitchen and seawead where so delicious. The meat was especially fresh and delicious, there was a huge variety. We had great service and they even accommodated our little. We will definitely be coming back!

This is my go-to lunch spot every time I hop over to the Seattle side of the Sound, which is basically weekly… The staff are super friendly and their self-serve all-you-can-eat bbq bar is always nice and fresh with a good selection of meats and sides that really hit the spot. They also have a full menu of traditional Korean dishes. I will keep returning until life takes me away from WA in 2026… (Be sure to try their soft serve ice cream after your meal!)

This place is one of the best Korean barbecue places around. They have a lunch special buffet that’s only $25. All you can eat and at night they have an all you can eat buffet that’s 32 38 and $42. They have all the meat you can never ask for and all the side dishes and even if a free ice cream machine if you want some Korean barbecue stop by here.

Stopped by for dinner, we got the 42$ option that included all the meats in the AYCE menu. For the basic meats it is served in a buffet style, being able to pick the amount of basic meat and not have to wait for server really made it more efficient. For the more expensive cuts of meat like the ribeye and short ribs you have have to put in an order with your server like any typical korean bbq spot. The side options was good enjoyed the seaweed salad and all the vegetable options. Was kind of disappointed it didn't have soup for the buffet option, for dessert they have vanilla icecream and churros.They do have other options for soup and other korean dishes that you can order that isnt included in the AYCE Option.fried sides were kind of dry, I think next time I would opt for the basic 25$ option main difference is the rib eye and beef short ribs. You can get your servers attention by pressing the server button on the wall for the most part they will leave you alone if you don't press the button. Becareful with the scallops burnt my finger trying to separate it from it's shell.

This place has become one of our go-to spots. It's very authentic, and the food tastes like real traditional Korean cooking. The meat is premium and always consistent. Soup isn't included in the AYCE, but if you ask, they will make one for you for free. The owners are very nice, and the restaurant is always clean. For the quality of meat they serve, the price is very affordable. It's a great value, and overall we're very happy with this place.

Top tiers access to rib eye steak, galbi ribs, sirloin strips, pork iron steak, scallops and the rest of lower tier items which are selfserve from the bar. Great service. A delicious and nostalgic Korean barbecue experience The food here was so good! Everything was well-seasoned, fresh, and full of flavor. The music gave me that nostalgic vibe -- like old-school songs that make you smile while you're grilling. The price was definitely on point for the amount and quality of food you get. One of the most interesting parts is their policy -- if you don't finish all your food, there's a $5 charge. It might sound funny, but honestly, it's a clever way to encourage people not to waste food. You get two hours to eat, which is perfect because you can take your time and actually enjoy your meal. When your two hours are up, they bring the check and turn off the grill -- so next time, I'm setting a timer to pace myself between bites and get every bit of what I paid for! They even had salad and sides that rounded out the meal beautifully. And my absolute favorite part? The prepackaged seaweed. It was so good -- and yes, I definitely grabbed a couple since they were sealed and ready to go. I can't wait to go back -- next time, I'm definitely trying the squid!

An all you can eat KBBQ and self-serve too? This will now be included in my list of must return when I've craving Korean BBQ. I absolutely love this concept of choosing the meats, banchans, and hot appetizers. Their dinner menu is straight forward, easy to browse through, and uses tier pricing model. The base tier is priced at $32 which includes 12 types of meats and seafood items to choose from. The mid tier is $32 which includes up to 20 options. And the highest tier is priced at $42 and has everything they offer. They also have a lunch menu at the $25 tier. This is only available Monday-Friday from 11AM - 3PM. Their drink menu offers a selection of soju, wines, beer, and non-alcoholic beverages. Their self bar is decent. Their meat section has bulgogi, pork belly, spicy pork, chicken, baby octopus, and other selections. They also have a refrigerator full of thinly sliced angus brisket and pork belly. Their banchan bar also has a decent selection. They have kimchi, seaweed salad, kongnamul, etc. They also have lettuce, garlic, and ssamjang sauce for ssam. Their sauce selections can be on the side of the banchan bar. Their hot bar has spicy fish cakes, fries, chicken wings, fried dumplings, and tempura shrimp. Service was fast. Each table has service bell button and you can request to switch out grills, drinks, etc. Our servers immediately responded and made sure we had everything. Seating is the standard 4 person grill top, however I noticed there are other tables that can be combined on the other side of the restaurant. Definitely a great spot for group KBBQ.

My sister and I stopped by here after reading Yelp reviews and wanted to try something new. When we arrived, it took a while for the staff to acknowledge and seat us, along with another couple that was also waiting. They had signs that shows that lunch hours was from 11-3p for $25. However, there was also a happy hour that was 11-5p for $25 which is pretty much the same as the lunch special. After getting seated, you are free to go get the banchan and food to cook at the self-serve bar. Don't be a fool like us, but the beef brisket and beef belly is available in the freezer. I didn't see any kalbi available here. I like how accessible everything is and you can get a much as you want, just don't make waste as there will be an additional charge. If you don't make it to lunch, it looks like there are 3 different price tiers. After paying, you will get a yakult drink to wash down all the goodiness. Overall, it's a cute place and I would return.

After seeing much hype for this place on Yelp and IG, finally had a chance to stop by here for an early dinner. If you're looking for a no frills all you can eat KBBQ, New Gangnam is a great spot to check out. Price Point for AYCE: $25 lunch for weekdays and $32+ (depending on your meat options) for evenings and weekends. Do note that there is a 2 hour limit per visit. If you choose not to do all you can eat, there are other individual food items or pre set combos to pick from. Interior: For those who have visited Sanmaru in the past, New Gangnam is pretty much the same layout with the exception of the buffet area. Comfy booths and good air ventilation :) Service: Quick and attentive! If you need anything, hit the call button. Food: For my group of 3, we all opted to get the basic AYCE KBBQ option for $32 a person. This option basically allows you to eat anything from the buffet area that includes: 1. Meat (Brisket, Pork Belly, Chicken.. etc) 2. Banchan/side dishes 3. Warm Appetizers (Eggrolls, gyozas, etc) 4. Ice cream, fruit Food Quality: 1. Meat: Good quality overall. Really like the brisket and pork belly. For the marinated items like chicken or bulgogi, found the marinade to be a bit too sweet 2. Banchan/Warm Apps: Hit or miss on a few items. Hit was the yummy fresh kimchi, marinated squid. Miss was the warm appetizers... would skip the egg roll and gyozas in favor for other items In summary, this place is definitely a great addition to the Shoreline area and hopefully the quality will stay consistent! :)

A solid KBBQ place with easy self serve model! The standard all you can eat price point is around $32 and that was the best choice for our group because we were not too interested in other meat options. The unique part of this place is the almost completely self serve model which my friends and I loved! You get all the meat yourself if you choose the $32 price point and you also can choose what kind of sides and how much of it as well! They also have a great salad bar and a good amount of sauce options. We found the self serve model to be easier and less stressful because you are not worried about bothering your server or having to wait for things to be delivered! You can really eat at your own pace and it resulted in less food waste because we could see what we were getting before it got to our table. The service is fast and friendly and there is a little call system for when you do need your grill changed or for other help. The place also has a nice casual environment which we liked a lot! There is also a small ice cream station and the server gave us yogurt drinks at the end too! The meat quality was not amazing but it was still quite delicious! This is more of a casual kbbq spot but I do see myself back here again for dinner or lunch!

First time at New Gangnam BBQ, and I was pretty impressed with the quality of both the meats/seafood and banchan options. Definitely lots to try, with plenty of healthy and fresh veggie/salad options to balance all the meats. Service was quick and staff are friendly. We were stuffed and content with this visit.

We went for Father's Day lunch and really enjoyed ourselves! We opted for the basic AYCE lunch ($32 for adults and $16 for kids). Lots of banchan to choose from- bulgogi, squid, beef, pork belly, lots more. I would choose the plates from from the fridge as they seemed to be less fatty than the meat (pork belly) from the buffet line. There was also sliced orange and lettuce to wrap your meats in. Only 3 sauce to mix-sesame oil, hot sauce, shoyu and bottles of salad dressing. Rice bowls were served and hot tea on request. There was a fried/hot station with shrimp tempura, chicken nuggets, fries, spring rolls for the kiddies. If you need service during your meal, there's a call button on the wall. The servers were very nice and friendly! The vent fan worked pretty good- not too smoked out but that's part of the experience. After the meal, you can treat yourself to soft served ice cream-squeeze bottle of chocolate syrup and also churro. The ice cream was thin-more like ice milk. We also got a little bottle of yogurt drink to end the meal. It was a very nice and delicious Father's Day lunch. We all left stuffed and we didn't even stay the full 90 minute limit!

Pretty good for a self serve bbq spot! For the price and quality of the meats and banchan, I think it's reasonable. We mainly ate beef brisket & belly, and pork belly. And I appreciate how well cut and prepared they are. Having the beef slices in bowls stored in a freezer is smart. I didn't try most of the banchan and hot (western) sides but the ones I did get like chicken wings, cabbage and cucumber kimchi, ssamjang were good. Staff were friendly and helpful. Plenty of seating for big groups.

I love the buffet area being able to choose my own meats, the premium meats need to be ordered and can take a bit of time because of the lack of waitstaff. Overall great experience and definitely will be back.

So, let's talk about Korean Bbq! I have an obsession with trying different Korean bbq spots! New Gangnam BBQ is 10 mins down the road and it's very convenient and tasty. We walked in and got seated right away. There are different options (1-3) about different cuts of meat. The third one is the more expensive because it offers prime quality meat. Each option also includes the salad bar and side bar with its very good! It always has other meats included and a hot bar as well. It's a great price for a good Korean bbq spot. One of our favorites.

Really enjoyed our visit. They have a three tiered buffet menu- or you can order individual items. For $32 each we got the basic buffet with all the Korean basics for the bbq. Bulgogi, pork belly, squid, octopus, shrimp...seriously, it's a good deal, for the money. All three of us ate enough and as we were sitting there post-meal the server came over and let us know that there was soft serve ice cream. So great. To be clear- the food is really good but not...gourmet. It's a buffet, right? But I was really happy to find something that felt like a good value for what we got. The location is a little deceptive and misleading. Give it a try, if you like Korean bbq you'll be pleasantly surprised.

Been here many times! This is our go to spot for kbbq! Usually I see 2 servers, very friendly but of course it can get a delayed attending to when they're super busy but they still acknowledge you. There is a button you can press if you would want to flag down a wait staff, which I think is cool. I say one of the cheaper options out there in terms of kbbq in greater Seattle area but they have "levels?" Basic, then price gets higher if you want more meat options. The basic one is more like a buffet style , grab what you want which I actually like cause I can control the portions; just get a little bit of this and that if I wanted to taste it. Beef belly and brisket are in the freezer, which I didn't notice at first. Not the best quality meat out there of course but still good and hits the spot!

So glad I found this super unique! Self-serve Korean BBQ spot. It's definitely no frills and questionably food safe. But if you're looking for an adventure, definitely come by for all you can eat. The service is pretty minimal. You can pick up most of the things you want on your own. And the ambiance can only be described as basic, but I'm so glad to have this option so close to both Costco and Seattle proper

First time here and it did not disappoint! Meat quality was exceptional! All you can eat sides and small option of hot food were fresh! Customer service was good and they even switched out our grill after seafood allergy in our party. Price per person for dinner was good! Our new spot!

So this satisfied my kbbq craving well. Price was reasonable and the fact that they have shrimp to grill available leaves me giving this place a solid a positive review. It's not often that I find whole shrimp at a kbbq spot. So this place basically has a bar where you can just grab your meats yourself for the cheaper ayce option. For any of the more expensive tiers, I believe you order those meats with the staff. I like this system because I have better control of my food intake. I know how much I can eat and that's how much I'll end up grabbing. The sides are also available at the bar too. Options felt limited, but they have the usual stuff that you would commonly would want like kimchi, lettuce, radish, and fish cake. This place wasn't too busy, so it was pretty easy going. It's a very casual spot I feel like and kind of matches up with a lot of the more general kbbq restaurants on Aurora.

So happy to have a reliable AYCE KBBQ spot south of Lynnwood! This location has been a carousel of Korean restaurants in the past, so I hope this one sticks around. Judging by how busy they were during our visit, my fingers are crossed! My husband & I opted for the $32 pp option, and it was perfect for us. I typically zero in on the nonmarinated meats, so having brisket, beef belly & pork belly was enough for me. The nonmarinated meat quality was better than expected, and it definitely did the job for the price point! I was also relieved they had ssamjang (Korean bean paste, traditionally consumed with KBBQ) at the buffet bar, which I didn't see in any of the pictures posted. My husband was a huge fan of the marinated options, and while I'm typically very picky for marinated meats, they had this Korean's stamp of approval! We especially enjoyed the pork neck & spicy pork bulgogi. Banchan selection was vast and plentiful, although I can't say any of it stood out taste wise, which is fine since the meat is the star. However, it's actually very rare to see full leaves of green leaf lettuce at KBBQ restaurants (typically, salads are served), so I was very happy to see this here. But you could also make a salad as well, since they had cut up lettuce as well, with plenty of dressing options! Service was surprisingly attentive and efficient. Staff is very hard working, and did so an amazing job managing the many occupied tables! We will definitely be back!

Great food selection - open food bar so you can just load up on your favorites (both meat and veggies). Our wait staff was a little slow to pick up dishes and we ended up having to start piling them on a neighboring table (6 people in our party, sitting for about 2 hours, one pickup very early). That being said, they were very kind and efficient. The restaurant was clean and well ventilated. The food bar looked very clean and many utensils had paper coverings making them feel sanitary. I would happily return.

This all you can eat Korean BBQ place is awesome. They have a lot of varieties and lots of side dishes and dessert. Very fast and prompt service. Plenty of tables. You won't be disappointed. Price is reasonable unless you want to do upgrade. The Korean styled BBQ restaurant won't let you down.

Cool spot across the street from Costco to enjoy KBBQ. I went here with my GF for the lunch special AYCE and it was great! Lots of sides available along with some hot foods like dumplings, fries, etc. The service is good, and you can always ring a bell at your table which will prompt the wait staff to come over if you feel to be waiting too long. Grill service was good - I never felt like I was waiting too long for someone to swap it out. I will definitely come back.

A party of two came in during lunch on April 20 with an alleged service animal. New Gangnam BBQ IV now has an open buffet area, and while service animals are legally allowed anywhere their person goes, it is so incredibly selfish and inconsiderate of them to BRING THE DOG INTO THE BUFFET AREA. Is it not ablelist of YOU to disregard the allergies your dog triggers for other patrons?! Could your friend not have gotten items on your behalf? The manager and staff tried their best, kudos to them, but this stubborn prick refused because they think the universe revolves around them. Had to avoid that part of the buffet thereafter and only got woosamgyup and chadol that were in a closed fridge. We're still sniffling 3 hours later. Food wise New Gangnam BBQ IV is a decent value. If you go to a good a la carte spot, a single order (albeit higher quality) will set you back over $30 anyhow. So here you are getting a pretty fair exhange of quality for price. I actually did like the appetizer bar, but it was a little cold. Tteokbokki sauce was on the sweet side. This restaurant also has hot barley tea if you want that instead of water. The restaurant is largely self service, especially if you purchase the $32 menu, in which all items are on the buffet line.

Food was great and the value that you get for all you can eat. It is no fuss, self serve and BBQ on your own. Beer is also huge and serves two people.

Love their side dishes, besides the marinated meat and some of the side dishes are on the saltier side, flavor wise and meat quality are good. Will come back again

Was a different experience for us but I love it , different ,new ,clean ,it's a gas grill at the middle off the table that way you can make the food you like it ,we ll come back for sure ohhhh it's reasonable price 175 for 4 off us

Food and ambiance are excellent. Service was slow but they seemed very short staffed so it was understandable. The black cod fish was cooked on gas stove at table side. The broth was very flavorful and complex. It is not the sweet soy sauce braised flavor you often get with this dish. This was more soupy and delicious. The set meals are a great deal too with soup, meat and fish.

Me and my partner went for dinner the other night and it was a great meal. We ended up getting the highest tier because he wanted beef short ribs which were delicious but probably not worth paying an extra 10 per person. We loved the open buffet style because we could start small and get more as we wanted. The servers were nice but there seemed to be only 2 servers so it was slow to get anything. There is a service button that I'm not sure if it works because I pressed it once or twice to get the check and he ended up having to flag them down. Would go again though!

New Gangnam BBQ IV (the 4th location of the New Gangnam BBQs) is a pretty good place to get value KBBQ in the greater north Seattle area but comes with the caveat that everything is self-service. The meats were good quality and all the banchan side dishes were to my liking. There is different price tiers of AYCE depending on what cuts of meat you want. You can get AYCE kbbq for as cheap as $25/person. They also do al la carte menu items and combo sets as well. Food My friends and I came to do the lowest tier AYCE ($30) since it included the OG staples for us: beef brisket and pork belly. In addition to those cuts, we also tried the marinated bulgogi. Overall, the meat qualities were decent and did not have excessive amounts of fat. The bulgogi marinade wasn't too salty. The $30 AYCE option also comes with other meats such as pork, chicken, octopus, shrimp, or squid (did not try though). The meats are all self-service and you must go get whichever ones you want. Note that the pre-portioned into bowls that can be found in the fridge but you can grab as many as you'd like. The banchan side dishes were also all self-service as well. There is a variety of banchans available and they were all pretty good. There are non-traditional side dishes as well such as pot stickers, tempura, and eggrolls but these were just okay and seemed like they were out of a frozen package. There is a small area for sauces that are all self-service as well. There will be your typical brisket sauce or salt & pepper in sesame oil available. There are a ton of other non-traditional sauces as well though, such as yami yami sauce. Atmosphere There are primarily booth seating that will seat about 4 people comfortably with a grill built into the table. There are some tables with regular chairs as well. The interior looks good compared to some other kbbq places that I have been to and was clean. The noise level was not very loud during lunch time on the weekend. Casual. Pricing Pricing was pretty good for the AYCE menu and not overly expensive compared to other hot pot places. See my pictures associated with review for price tiers. There is open bar for sauces and appetizers so you can get as much as you want. Quality was good for what I paid. Service For AYCE everything is self-service when it comes to getting your food (banchan side dishes to meats). Surprisingly, water is not self-service. The server and staff were nice and helpful. Other Plenty of parking at the restaurant on a Saturday lunch. The entrance is located on the upper half of the building.

Best Korean BBQ all you can eat in the area! We have been eating here regularly and never been disappointed. Service was great! Food is delicious. Plenty of side dishes. I love their side dishes better than any restaurant. So fresh and tasty!

Food was low quality and it was like eating inside a freezer and too expensive. An 11yr old cost same as adult.

One of the best ayce experiences around here. Serve yourself meat at first may seem like more work but allows them to offer more at better prices. Our grill got pretty hot which was great. I liked that it was built into the table and a gas fire. The serve yourself corn cheese and lettuce included in the ayce price were nice touches as well.

We were loyal customers, but the new waitress is so disrespectful. She took 5 minutes to do other things after we asked for the grill to be changed. And when she came back, I asked again. She said, "Can you wait? You have to put meat on it or it will burn very quickly." Excuse me, we don't put meat on it because the grill is already burned, and we were hoping you could change it for us. As a result, the stove was on for too long, and the meat on top splattered and burned my hand.

Was very disappointed with selection and service. Very limited selection in meat and seafood, and had to ask for many things that should have been on the table. No side dishes served with meal as is done inside most other Korean bbq,s. Felt like they just wanted the money and gave no personal service to customers . Will never go there again. There are to too many good Korean restaurants besides this one in the area.

Ayce for a good price. All that's included in the price you can get it from the buffet style area which was nice. All the banchan is at the buffet and some fried spring rolls and stuff too. Several sauces to be chosen. Tastes pretty good. I'd definitely go back there

First time trying this place. I would give it 5 stars, but no greeter in the front. I know they're new, but could tighty up a bit. But the food was 5 stars. It came out fast, it tasted great. I think it's fairly priced. I think they need more help...there was two men manning the place. They need 2 more servers...

Currently, they are advertising a lunch special for all you can eat KBBQ for 25.00 pp, sadly this is a lunch only optionI but is well worth the price. The Dinner price is relatively standard for Korean all you can eat but still on the lower end of pricing. Good quality meat and variety and the banchan is way better than most and a very good variety as well. I would sum this up as having very good variety of everything that other places don't always offer, like ind. seaweed packs, sauces, leaf lettuce, jalapeños, garlic just to name a few. It was a nice surprise. I can say all of this as I have tried many different places. My creds go back to 1985, I am no way an expert for all Korean menu items but I do have a palette for almost all of it, I am not a rookie by any means. You do end up a bit smoky when your all done, but who doesn't feel the awesome satisfaction of a grilled meat lunch that goes home with you?! I know I do, and New Gangnam is no exception! My friend even told me there another location in Tacoma that is even better so can't wait to try it there. There is another in Lynnwood and Lacey, but definitely try NG BBQ IV worth every penny!

I loved getting the buffet. There were a lot of things that I couldn't have tried if I had just ordered off the menu. Everything was clean and delicious and the service was great too. 10/10
