Great chinese food. Consistent. They're fine with making minor tweaks to each dish. They're deep fried Chicken has the same quality as FKC/deep fried pressure cooker but with way more/better flavor. Hong Shing used to be my favourite spot but they majorly raised there prices so I looked for a new spot. I wish I knew about New Ho King years ago because they're better than Hong Shing. The Chili Chicken dry(less chilli/salt) is amazing. Super good if you don't know what you like/what to get or have a picky eater, if you like Chicken with Flavor then you'll love this, if someone says they don't like it then they're obviously having a bad day or so mad at you that food won't help. If she so mad /hangry that (this) food won't make her happy then you better pray double hard tonight because she's REALLY pissed and you probably only have 3 days left until she's gone and Jesus is the only way you gonna get help now 🤣 The Shanghai Noodles are the best. Thick noodles with sliced thin pork, cabbage, shrimp, Chicken and a few other green things thrown in. I can't eat much garlic or onion due to heartburn but I can eat the food from New Ho King no problem. $50 feeds to guys with one huge meal left over. 1 dry chili chicken 1 Shanghai noodles

Google
Kendricks song brought me here 😅 . New Ho king fried rice was the best plate! We ordered fried rice, orange chicken, chow mein, and beef and broccoli but they forgot that in our order. Chow mein was not cooked all the way. Orange chicken was okkk …Customer service was horrible sadly… and restrooms were gross and out dated!

After a concert, we made the 30 minute walk up from the Roger Center, along with maybe 40 others. The staff was quick to make accommodations for parties and made the wait enjoyable. We were given water and offered shots. Knowing we'd come from the KDot show, they played Kendrick throughout our dinner. An absolute blast.

I came here after hearing Kendrick Lamar rap about it in his song Euphoria and it did not disappoint. I got the sweet and sour chicken with pineapple and it was delish. Thanks to Kendrick for putting me on. Will def visit again when I’m back in Toronto.

Didn’t Love It Years Ago - But I’m Glad I Gave It Another Shot. New Ho King used to be a go-to for a lot of my friends 5–10 years ago, but I never really got the hype. Fast forward to recently - I gave it another try and was very pleasantly surprised. The prices are definitely higher than what classic “cheap Chinese takeout” used to cost, but considering the late-night hours and how consistent the food is, I’d say it’s fair. And honestly, it hits the spot. The beef rice noodle with soy sauce is my go-to - simple, flavorful, and perfectly executed. Everything I’ve tried recently has been great, and the staff have been super friendly (especially when they’re not absolutely slammed). One night they were packed and I stayed patient - they noticed and even offered me a shot as a thank you. Totally unexpected and genuinely appreciated. Bottom line: If it’s been a few years, it might be time to give New Ho King another shot. I’m glad I did.

I’m puzzled by the low rating of this restaurant since among the downtown Toronto Chinatown restaurants, I would say New Ho King is one of the most consistent when it comes to food quality/quantity and pricing. We’ve been coming to this restaurant for over 20 years and the food we normally ordered still taste the same - flavourful, and servings are generous compared to other Chinatown restaurants. Everyone in this restaurant are very pleasant from the Manager (guy) to the servers and always say hi and thank you to customers. Not even once did we experienced rude service. This is also one of the few restaurants in Toronto that rewards cash discounting to customers - offers 10% off your bill if you pay cash. One time, they got 1 of our order wrong and was given automatically a discount in our bill without even asking for it. We’re a fan of their Ho King Special Sizzling Chili Chicken in Hot Pot (bone-in). Crispy and flavourful is how to best describe this dish. Tender marinated chicken fried until crispy with lots of spring onions makes this a delightful dish and something that you want to eat over and over again. Another fave is their Deep Fried Calamari with Spicy Salt. Squids are perfectly coated in a well-seasoned batter and flavoured with spice mixture. Very addictive and pairs well with rice/fried rice. I could go on and on about how wonderful their food is but if you haven’t tried this place maybe you should give it a chance if ever you’re in the Chinatown area. Bonus point - they’re open late or until the wee hours so good for late Chinese cravings.

This place was incredible in so many ways. Firstly, the food was amazing and well priced. A few friends and I decided to stop in before the Kendrick Lamar concert and felt the immediate hospitality and acceptance from the staff. Their music choices made the atmosphere so fun and upbeat and I was deeply touched by the staff going out of their way to include my friends and I even when the shop was closing up. I will recommend this restaurant to everyone I know and will be back every time I visit Toronto! You have won a customer for life ❤️ good luck to you all in the coming years and I hope to see you all when I come back!

Yelp
I ordered takeout so I can't comment on what's the restaurant like Spent 31 dollars. Ordered egg fried rice, fried pork dumplings and egg roll The egg fried rice is delicious. Huge portion too as I couldn't finish everything at once 9 dollars for the fried rice, it's amazing. Not only is it cheap but it's worth it too as the rice is well cooked, fresh and overall excellent A restaurant I will try again. Food is worth it

Yelp
I'm not sure why this place has such a low yelp review. Might be the lowest review/rated restaurant I've eaten at TBH but I had to give it a try cause of Kendrick. Honestly really glad I paid a visit the Steamed Cod and Beef Chow Fun were exceptional particularly the Cod. It was steamed to perfection and each bite was delectable it just fell apart in your mouth I wished I could have ordered more! The service here like any true Chinese restaurant was lacking I had to flag the server down for just about everything besides bringing my food. I would have given this place 5 stars had it not been for the service. The inside was kind of meh I sat looking to the windows outside so it was entertaining people watching while eating. All in all this place is a winner and I would come back if I'm back in Toronto.

Yelp
My friend, for his birthday, asked us to meet at New Ho King. He wanted to try the "Kendrick Lamar Special", which consisted of General Tso's Chicken, spicy fried chicken wings, fried shrimp, beef and broccoli, and the famous fried rice with "dip sauce" that he famously rapped about in his song "Euphoria". To even out all the meats and seafood, another friend in our dining party ordered Chinese greens. The server knew automatically what our order was when we mentioned the special, and it was seemingly brought out all at once, which pleased this dining patron! The dining area was cool, clean and air conditioned, and the server came by constantly to refill our water when needed. As for the food, it was sublime. The fried shrimp was delicious, and the General Tso's chicken was in cut in huge, mouth-watering chunks! The wings were crispy as advertised, and were a not too overly salty treat! I'm not a beef and broccoli guy, but this version changed my opinion some. And what could I say about the rice already that a prominent musical artist hasn't already said? Just the chef's kiss. We were so full halfway through the meal that we took three takeaway containers home! A very satisfying meal, even if I wasn't the birthday celebrant!

Yelp
Very disappointing. Food tasted 2 days old. Chicken was tough, chewy, lacklustre. Cantonese Noodles and spicy beef were the same. Very upsetting considering the hype. 0/10 recommend. Dollar store ramen tops over this "food".

Yelp
The Fried rice was The Dip sauce was I didn't have the blammy on me though but 10/10 would go back again

Yelp
In the mood for some gloppity gloopity? That's my friend's nickname for thick and saucy Chinese food -- and I think it just fits so well. Anyway, nope, I think there are much better options for late-night Chinatown grub than New Ho King. I've had mixed experiences here over the years. In particular, I vividly recall enjoying their crispy beef once upon a time. But my most recent experience was far below average. The crispy beef was not enjoyable and neither were the sauteed green beans. Normally, I love a good Chinese style green bean but these were just bad. Based on my last experience, I'd choose Swatow, Rol San or House of Gourmet over this place any day...

Came to town to town for the K.Dot special. First time here. Everyone here is good. Food, Service, and Ambiance is great.

Yelp
I've been wanting to go to this infamous beacon of hopelessness on Spadina, you know the gaudy Green and Red sign visible from blocks away as you lurch up the wide puke and gob-stained sidewalk for late night grease you know will make you feel better somewhat after you leave, ever since I heard the awesome Toronto garage band Kiwi Jr. extoll the virtues of ending up there after a night of debauchery. Now I kinda understand what they were talking about! Previously when searching for the ultimates in Chinatown lunch special, I wondered why NHK was never open when I went for lunch. One time I noticed a small crowd out front and someone with a key in their door at around lunch time, and I thought, oh! they are finally open for lunch. But, alas, someone said aloud "four o'clock?!" and the guy at the door nodded. So I said "four o'clock?!!" and everyone looked, their long faces, with long teeth looking hopeless. So when my buddy and I decided to go for late night nosh, after a great show at Lula Lounge on a Wednesday night (!), I talked him into going to NHK. Fitting enough, I see a staff member through the window there as we pull up on our bicycles (in light rain, no less) well after midnight, and they dude looked a LOT like my unruly looking friend who fronts a punk band. Made perfect sense! Inside it was empty that night, being a Wednesday, but I still wanna go back again on a weekend party night someday. A couple rock-star lifestyle looking dudes came in for takeaway but other than that nobody was going out late on a rainy Wednesday in Chinatown. Washrooms have dive-bar stench and vibe. We ordered from the wack-looking guy and were happy with our order, just a shared meal of shrimp and broccoli, along with steamed rice, and seafood egg-foo-yung, the latter of which neither of us had tried before but have heard the name many times in pop culture. It was actually pretty good! Basically an omelette with Chinese flavours. It was very filling with all the egg and completed our meal nicely. Recommended, especially if you are drunk, ears still ringing and it's before 4 am any night of the week.

Yelp
great food. however the service was so so. Ambiance is fire. Had the fried rice wit the dip sauce and my blammy crodie. Tell me ur cheesin fam

Yelp
This is the first positive review I have made. I had to leave a good review after eating here. Server was fast and attentive and the food was bursting with flavor. I came here on word of mouth and now I am spreading the word further. You won't be disappointed.

Andrea A.

Yelp
Wonder if management has considered slightly raising prices instead of sneaking a second gratuity into the bill thereby putting their servers - mostly young women - in a position where they are forced to lie to the customers? This restaurant clearly has contempt for their servers and customers alike, with the latter left feeling angry and disappointed that they've been hoodwinked out of an extra 15-20%, on top of the abysmal, dismissive service, forgotten items, strong smell of industrial cleaning products, and extremely adequate food. I'm not often compelled to Yelp but was left truly aghast this evening. They should absolutely be ashamed. Great work, New Ho King.

Keegan T.

Yelp
Amazing food and awesome service. The fried rice is legit. Will go back hundreds of times.

Yelp
New Ho King delivers a good solid Chinese food experience. 10% off is you pay cash, just the way it should be.

Yelp
This place is pretty decent for a late night Chinese Place that seems to deal with a lot of drunk bar goes. The people who work here are really patient, the food is pretty decent. If I was in the area gain I would go here again. But I wouldn't go out of my way to eat here, or really tell anyone that they had to eat here. I was decent, but not great.
google avatar

Monica F.

Yelp
Pretty rude customer service. I called and asked if they do free delivery if we order directly through their restaurant and was basically laughed at (I was going to order over $100 worth of food). Then he told us our address near College and Shaw was too far and hung up on me! Lol. (Btw this place is on Spadina, only a 10 min drive during rush hour).
google avatar

Avery D.

Yelp
Oof. This place really has nothing going for it. The service was atrocious. The waitress grimaced as we walked in and getting anything from her was like pulling teeth. By the time we were ready to pay she literally rolled her eyes at us and scoffed when we asked to split the check between three people. Mind you we ordered extremely simple meals. Which brings me to the food. We ordered Shrimp Teriyaki and Orange chicken. The Shrimp came out cold and the orange chicken was so dry with almost a dessert like orange glaze over it that we really suffered through the meal, mostly eating the white rice--which was NOT included with the meals. It was the most mediocre Chinese food I have ever eaten in my life. Pei Wei has more flavor. Gratuity was indeed added to our party of three which is fine but they did not let us know. These absolutely mid meals came out to $30 each. They had all the nutritional value and taste of a Big Mac. There was no way this was worth $30. Stay away.

Yelp
We came here for a late dinner last night , after going to an event Downtown. I haven't eaten in Chinatown for a very long time but I saw a You Tuber eat here and the food looked yummy. We were seated near the door and ordered our food. I really wanted to get the crispy deep Fried Taro on boneless duck. I noticed on the menu that it had to be pre -ordered. I inquired with the waiter and he said that it could be ordered but could take up to 40 minutes. I told him to place the order and come back to us for the rest of our order. All the food we ordered was delicious. It has the very traditional taste of good Chinatown Cantonese food. I thoroughly enjoyed every dish as the flavours were reminiscent of the foods I ate growing up. We would eat in Manchester Chinatown at least once a week but sadly those traditional flavours have now gone because the older chefs have all retired and the new chefs all take their own spin on foods. Sadly, I don't live nearby this restaurant. If I did, I would be here every week. The service was good, the prices are very reasonable and the dishes are huge.

Yelp
Ive ordered New Ho King about 3x on Uber eats. I can't speak to what the experience is like at the restaurant but up until yesterday I would've given it 4 stars. The reason for 3 is because we realized our favourite dish (crispy shredded beef) is loaded with brown sugar! I couldn't put my finger on why it tasted so good and when I was eating the crumbly bits at the bottom I realised it was just sugar. Probably how it makes the beef so crispy. It was delicious but as soon as I realised it was sugar that made it so good I don't think I can eat it ever again: My new favourite items are - shrimp fried rice - general tso chicken Anything under " chefs recommendations " on the Ubereats menu is good.

Yelp
Eversince Sang Ho closed, I have been on the lookout for decent family style traditional Chinese restaurants. Enter New Ho King on Spadina. My family and I went there for CNY eve dinner. The place was bustling, and I was excited. This is surely a good sign of great food! Here's a list of what we ordered: Snow pea tips - good tasty portion. The vegetable was fresh. Sizzling beef in chinese sauce - my favorite of the evening. Good portion and totally tasty and tender. Meat & seafood tofu hotpot - came in a large bowl with char siew, shrimps, scallops, squid etc. It was enjoyable. Cantonese chow mien - I thought the portion was a bit smaller than other restaurants. Duck with yam - this dish is in the chinese menu, not the English one. My mom saw another table eating this dish and we asked for it. I was looking forward to trying it as I had it at Sang Ho restaurant and loved it. After tasting the dish at New Ho King, I thought it was ok. It would be better if there was more flavors. Sauteed calamari with black bean sauce - mostly onions and not much calamari. Steamed Tilapia - the fish was small. Salt and Pepper shrimps - literally one for each person. At $17.95, it's really expensive for so little. Customer service was decent. Our server was a young guy who was friendly and energetic. The food came out fast. But the hygiene.... my sister watched them dumped used chopsticks into hot water. And then put them back to where the "clean" chopsticks are kept. The washrooms had no soap, no hot water, no paper towels. The hand dryer barely work. Our pants became the paper towels. Sanitation should always be priority in restaurants. And now what with the coronavirus situation, it's more vital than ever.

Sergio F.

Yelp
Food was good, service however was abysmal. One member of our party ordered a meal with no vegetables, was brought out the meal with vegetables and food runner/server called a different name so we were unaware it was his at all and eventually never got it. Secondly we asked for an extra glass for water and did not receive until 20 minutes later. Later we asked for knives as we were only given forks and could not cut our food, and never received them. Every time we tried to get our servers attention to ask for another glass or knife, our server ignored us and walked right past us into the kitchen. It's a shame as we all thoroughly enjoyed our food however service and ambiance made it so we would never recommend this place to anyone.

Jan C.

Yelp
Our family go to place. Staff there are always attentive and service top notch. Authentic Chinese food that is both tasty and good portion size. Highly recommend their take on sweet and sour pork, they garnish with pineapple chunks and papaya. Cantonese style lobster is delicious! Our mixed family also love their crispy chicken wings and lemon chicken. If you want a treat, order their boneless duck with taro, yummy! Their deep fried pig intestines either with sweet red sauce or pickled vegetables are delicious too!

Yelp
Horrible. Used to order all the time for takeout (granted this was 10+ years ago) and now it's soooo gross and awful. I actually picked up my takeout order in person and should have walked out of the restaurant immediately after realizing that the garbage smell wasn't coming from Toronto July garbage on the street... but inside the restaurant !! Nasty. Anyways the stir fries were gross, mushrooms brown and mushy. The vegetables in the stir fries were old and dirty looking. The egg roll and chicken balls were both fried to a crisp, which granted is probably a good thing from a food safety perspective, given how truly filthy and dirty this establishment is. The floors look as if they haven't mopped since COVID started. Never again.
google avatar

Michael L.

Yelp
Went in for lunch. Stood at the entrance to survey the floor-plan. It's a relatively narrow place, but it goes all the way to the back with an upper floor and the kitchen in the lower floor. Stairway to washrooms hidden around the corner. After finishing my look-around, no one came to greet me so I just helped myself in. There seems to only be 2 wait-staff, and they're pretty much just whatever about things, which is alright this is the kind of place I'm used to. One of them was standing there eating a bowl of noodles. Yelp asks if there's waiter service. I'm going to have to pick "not sure". When asked about seats, one of them just looked around and said "just take the big table", which is pretty nice considering the alternative was a really small table in the corner. I think service-wise, at least they're giving me a good seat and not being stingy about it. * * * They've got a lot of menus: lunch menu, take-out menu, regular menu, late-night menu, etc. If you're looking for the lunch menu you may have to ask for it if they don't give it to you. Or maybe I was at the big table so they expected me to notice the stack of menus across the table or something. Lunch options feature all sorts of combinations of meats or vegetables with rice, starting at $5.95; the kind of price-point I like. * * * I ordered the Hunan Beef with Rice. The portion size was quite large for the price, however that's about the only good thing I can say about it apart from the light show. The dish was amazingly glossy. Like literally, it was shining! I can't remember the last time I had meat or vegetables that had such reflectivity. Taste just wasn't there. The only thing you can taste was salty sauce. The beef was cooked through all the way and it was so soft that I wasn't sure whether I was eating meat or not. * * * If you need emergency rations to last you several meals at an inexpensive price, you might consider getting food from this place. Or, of course, if you're a student at UofT and need something at 1 AM since they offer free delivery for UofT students on $10+ orders... Note that I only tried one dish out of the hundreds that they offer, and this was on their lunch menu as well, so I'm not sure how the more expensive options might be.

Keri T.

Yelp
Nothing like it once was. I remember going here all throughout my undergrad and professional degree from 2009-2016. It was a great spot with amazing portion sizes and wonderful flavours all for an affordable price. But wow, I had this last night hoping to relive some memories and this place has definitely gone downhill majorly. BBQ pork ribs: Dry, overcooked and tasted like it had been left out for hours. In fact, these were difficult to chew and swallow. Beef with ginger and scallion: I kid you not, for $18, they gave me a container that was half filled with large pieces of inedible ginger slabs. The flavour of the actual beef left much to be desired, I felt tempted to add salt, pepper and my own herbs. Egg rolls: Would have been fine had they remembered to give me the two I paid for, I only got 1. Deep fried soft shell crab: This is the first time in my life that I received soft shell crab in little pieces as usually this item comes in the shape of the actual crab. This made me skeptical that they just battered some faux crab sticks and charged $19 for it. Overall, I was so disappointed it actually hurt emotionally. This spot used to be a gem and now, I can say, I'll never eat here again.

Yelp
The worst food and service ever! Food was very, very, very, very dry and tasteless, did I mention it was very dry? Horrible experience. NEVER AGAIN!!!

Meg T.

Yelp
Not edible. We threw it out after a few bites and still got food poisoning for two days. Disgusting.
google avatar

Kim T.

Yelp
I ordered their Deboned Sliced Grouper with Sweet and Sour Sauce. BIG MISTAKE. The sauce was overly sweet and I felt sick after a few bites. Their fish was just ok. The portion is large (it took me 3 meals to finished this one dish), but because the food was horrible, I had to suffer longer. Also, the cashier aka whom I placed my order to, was not friendly and quite rude, even. He saw me entering the restaurant clueless (I didn't know whether to wait for a greeting or go straight to the cash register for a take-out), but he ignored me. This went on even when I was right in front of him. I had to take the menu myself. Tl:dr ordered a take-out, cashier was quite rude, and food was horrible. I will never come to this restaurant ever again.
google avatar

Jodi K.

Yelp
We have been eating here for many years and enjoyed it. That was until last night when we ordered take out. When I placed my order over the phone they told me they were busy so it would be about 25 minutes. So here is the thing...if you are busy make the pick up time longer so you get the food right. The shanghai noodles that I always get were horrid. It was like they tossed some noodles with soya sauce and called it a day. The singapore noodles were dry and tasteless. So disappointed and will never go back.

Yelp
this is ridiculous the pictures speak for themselves the chicken balls were hard as rock and not even edible the batter was dark brown you could tell they were sitting for days.

Yelp
lol I'm sorry I love me some New Ho King This is my fav greasy spoon Chinese takeout place To top it off I always get the same food and love every bite. Even though we could never finish it in one sitting we still order waaay too much food Chicken balls, chicken wings, fried rice, Cantonese chow mein, and general tso chicken All delish, all full of flavour, huge portions, greasy and full of salt, just finger licking good Well I will admit I did not like the general tso chicken, it was kind of hard and dry inside. The sauce trys to mask the horrible texture and the fact that its probably old /overcooked but my bf loved it so I don't know lol My mom would so frown at me if she knew I still eat this she hates the MSG overload I'm srry mom its late, I'm hungry and most off all my eyes are bigger than my stomach see attached pics

Yelp
Busy night. Forgot half our order didn't get tea was just a cluster fuck of people. Atmosphere was great though service not so much
google avatar

Tahmina N.

Yelp
The food here is mostly *almost* decent, especially for the younger, hungrier UofT crowd. The customer service isn't the greatest. I've been treated noticeably rudely on many occasions. A major perk is that they're open till 4 am. I imagine late night go-ers make up a huge amount of their customer base. I'd stick to lunch and late night specials because you can get the best bang for your buck. The food is also just not worth it if you're not going in at these times. I recommend sticking to the rice and veggie or rice and beef dishes as these tend to taste better. The noodle dishes tend to be greasy and dishes that are advertised to come with sauce tend to be overly saucy. The portions are pretty big and you may have some food leftover to take home.
google avatar

Nick A.

Yelp
Beat late night chicken in the TO. This place is open until 4am on the weekends. There's Asian good there too but the chicken is the highlight to me. It can get kinda hood in there some times though. Oh well, this chicken is to die for ‍
google avatar

James L.

Yelp
I ordered a Singapore Vermicelli (N2) from the late night menu on Saturday, Sept 10th @ 12:36am. When I got home I had some and it tasted off, like there was something burnt in it. The next day I reheated some and bit into something firm and it exuded a strong taste of burnt tobacco. I spit it out and it was a burnt, used filter from a cigarette. This is the most disgusting thing I have ever experienced!
google avatar

Yelp
Update: Still Bad, why do I keep coming here.... The General Tso was super spicy and extra sugary. The Chicken Fried Rice was dull and the Mu-Shu was also bland. So bad

Yelp
New Ho King has been my go-to for greasy Chinese food for over 15 years. Of course, back then it was usually at 4:00 am, and now I'm serving it to my kids, but it's just as good for all purposes. It's definitely nothing fancy, but it's a step above Mandarin et al. Get the spicy crispy shredded beef. I always get Shanghai noodles (plus hot sauce) and BBQ pork fried rice as well. Portions are large.

Yelp
This is really really not good. I ordered as delivery and went with General Tso's chicken which is usually something so basic that anyone can produce a passable version. This was not the case tonight. There was a ton of food and it was pretty cheap but it tasted ridiculously bland and I literally could only eat 2 bites before I gave up.

Yelp
Bad tasting food and really ugly service. This place has only one good thing. The prices for the portions and that is it. Went with tye family for the first time and it was the only time I would ever visit this resturant. Food was greasy and not flavoured at all.

Yelp
I seriously have a love-hate relationship with New Ho King. During my years as a student, I ordered devoutly from New Ho King as they offered cheap take-out at 2am and the portion sizes were huge. That being said, I always had a problem with the service because it's probably the worst service you can get. The person who answers the phone is always super rude, and the delivery people aren't any better. The last time we ordered, it took 2.5 hours for us to receive our food, so we only tipped $5 (which isn't bad at all for a $20 order). I gave the delivery man $30 and asked for $5 back, and he seemed really angry at the $5 tip. Then he swore at us and spat at my door, which really borderlines harassment. Long story short, New Ho King is good if you want late night take-out for a reasonable price, but be prepared for the bad service (and have change so you never have to ask for change back!)

Yelp
Take out cause reviews weren't bad,#4 for delivery in our area of Toronto. Well, not sure who is making these reviews. BUT. Worst soggy wonton soup with starchy no flavour. Hot and sour soup tasted like vinegar. General tao chicken so hard like rock, and again no flavour tasted like cornstarch. Fried rice mediocre, and beef and broccoli, beef soft and ok, broccoli like mash potato. Must have been from frozen Sorry to say this is worst Chinese we've ever had, mall food is way better. Stay away

Yelp
Literally left this place 2 hours ago. Never going back. Horrendous service, mediocre food, despicable bathrooms, and on top of it all they added gratuity on a party of 3. Didn't tell us, just added it. If we didn't check we would have tipped on top of a tip. Also tipping is not required in this country last I checked. Had to argue to have it removed. I highly recommend you avoid this dump at all costs. There are WAY better places in Chinatown to spend your money. Also cash and debit only? I'll leave it to you (and the CRA) to figure out what that means.

Yelp
My mouth waters just thinking of this place. Really affordable prices, open very late, and ginormous portions. Defo recommend the black bean sauce. If it wasn't socially awkward I'd lick my plate. However that'd be weird.

Yelp
Delicious Chinese food. Great place to go with large groups (they have big tables with lazy Susan's for easy food sharing). Cheap drinks, casual environment and tasty food - what more can you ask for! In the heart of Chinatown, this is definitely a go to dinner spot when on a budget with friends.
