5 Best Day Trips from Chicago | Condé Nast Traveler

"Founded in 1996, New Holland Brewing is one of the country's pioneering microbreweries. At its corporate headquarters in downtown Holland, you'll find the brewpub. The sprawling, two-floor pub is familiar in the way that breweries can be, that is, exposed ducts and bricks, tin ceilings and numerous myriad high-tops occupied by imbibers is familiar. From cask-poured stouts to limited releases, growler fills and special brewpub-only offerings, New Holland serves upwards of 20 brews at any given time. Head there for a low-key lunch or dinner. Meet new friends or catch up with old ones over cold brews in relaxed digs." - Jessi Roti, Joseph Hernandez

Pabst Blue Ribbon Is Likely Releasing a Brand of Whiskey | Eater

"A regional brewer and distiller that distributes some products through a larger brewing company, it recently received Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau approval for a whiskey label tied to the other brand. The company already has experience distilling spirits—including whiskey, gin, and vodka—making it the entity positioned to produce the new release, though it and its partners say launch details remain undecided." - Greg Morabito

Huge place we visited because it was the only place open on Sunday night. Glad we tried it, the food was great! Our server was nice, even though she started off a bit snarky, she got better as the evening went on. My son got a pepperoni pizza, my littles got the kids macaroni and cheese (which is artisanal, and my daughter wouldn’t eat it), kids cheeseburger (son loved it) and the kids chicken tenders (son loved them). The fries are tasty. I got the pepperoni pinwheels as a meal, they were good. My husband got the French dip sandwich, with the Cajun coleslaw, he said all was good and coleslaw was spicy. Not a bad meal and reasonably priced.

Google
Decent place. We got right in, no wait. Spacious. Moderate noise level, decent menu options, and drinks were good. The food was delicious. Then we hit the shop. There are so many goodies to purchase. It's definitely worth a stop after a long day of shopping. Staff was friendly.

Google
Great spot for lunch. Our server, Sarah, was super friendly and helpful. We went on a Monday during lunch and it wasn’t busy at all so everything was super quick. The pickle pizza is GREAT!! Great selection of beer. They also offer craft sodas instead of Coke or Pepsi which is a nice bonus!

Google
I was not expecting much when we came to this place, just your basic good beer and pub food, but boy did I get into so much more. Their food was fresh and had excellent flavor we had the pasta, the mushroom pizza, a carnivore pizza and a Chicken sandwich and they were all excellent, not dry, flavor full and the taste profiles all balanced each other in excellent ways. With the souvenir shop again, I didn't think it was going to be great, but do not be fooled by the variety. They do and excellent job of caring, and it translates to the quality of the product. The whisky, rum and cocktails all had great flavor profiles. You could drink the whisky with no ice and it was still a pleasant experience. I would absolutely recommend.

Our first time here was fantastic! We’ve tried their beers before but never been to their taproom. Food’s great, drinks were awesome, ambiance is cool, great selection of merch and to go items, etc. It gets kinda packed around afternoon going to dinner. Shout out to Owen for a great customer service! We’d love to come back here again.

New Holland has a great vibe. With indoor or outdoor seating- high tops, low seating, or a bar. There’s something for everyone. You will have to be seating, so be prepared that even if there’s plenty of seating, you will have to talk to someone. We were just passing through, so we had the Tangerine Space Machine IPA, and the chicken wings starter was a large portion of 13 beefy wings! What a great way to continue time in this sweet town. There’s street parking in front, or on side streets. I we parked near the post office and walked, going in and out of all the other shops, including New Holland Side car which is where they sell all of their merch, which is pretty cool stuff. Great branding on shirts and a large collection of gin and bourbon.

The staff’s swift accommodation of our request to watch the Tigers’ Opening Weekend game set a welcoming tone. We began with pepperoni pinwheels—crispy and paired with an exquisite chipotle ranch. My salad arrived alongside the main course, which was unexpected, but the croutons’ unique texture was delightful. The roast beef with au jus was both crunchy and flavorful. My friend indulged in pizza and that was delightful. The “Pop That Thang” cocktail, featuring a fruity taste and pop rocks, showcased local mixology talent. Overall, New Holland Brewery offers a memorable dining experience with thoughtful touches.

Google
The waitress upsold us a bit on sizes but other than that this was great! I tried a lot of things from the menu and there were a lot of good options. I got the pickle pizza and it was good!

Yelp
First time back to New Holland in a while! I love the beer and was excited to be able to have it on tap at the brewery. I ordered a maple cinnamon dragon's milk. It was so good! We also ordered a chicken pizza to share and it was delicious! 100 percent recommend you stop by while in Holland!

Yelp
actually obsessed with the winter painkiller slushie and haven't stopped thinking about it since i came here a month ago!!! I even tried to recreate it at home!!! (ofc not as good) new holland is a sweet spot to come watch a game or hang with friends for a meal !! i think it has a great vibe and a great place to cozy up in the winter for sure. you have to make reservations for seating but the bar is first come first serve and you can order food as well!

Yelp
Went this weekend to celebrate our friends birthday! We had a reservation so we got sat at a high top in the bar right away! The service was very slow and had inaccurate information on specials. I got the lake life seltzer (cherry limeade) and it was delicious!!!! For dinner, I ordered a large BBQ Chicken Pizza with pineapple added. It came out very fast but was missing jalapeños (that is comes with..) It was a nice dinner to celebrate our birthday girl!

Yelp
I don't think you can go wrong with a stop at New Holland Brewing. The drink selection is way more expansive than it used to be. The menu has a little something for everyone. The wait staff was very personable and friendly. One of our food orders came with something we wanted removed and they were very accommodating to fix that for us. It wasn't expected nor did we complain, but he noticed and fixed it.

Yelp
Our 3rd New Holland Brewing stop on our road trip! And, this is the flagship location, which we really appreciated the vibes!

Yelp
We were a large group of 12 and hangry, ordered a bunch of burgers and some of the veggie folks got the black bean burger and were a bit charred or overly well done. Their pizzas were on point, the veggie and chicken pesto were both good. The appetizers were bar-friendly hummus and veggies, and parmesan fries. Salad's were pretty good.Overall, a decent experience.

Yelp
The atmosphere was great, your average bar & eatery with a more rustic approach. I ordered the double cheeseburger with a side of Great Lakes Chip Co. Kettle Chips that were made in Traverse City! The burger was good, very juicy and a good two slabs of meat, the cheese was also perfectly melted on top! The service was very fast I got my drink within 3 minutes of sitting down and then my food about 20 minutes after that, I was also in a party of 6 and they got their food at the same time! The only complaint was that the waitress was a bit rude but it isn't an easy job, so I can't really blame her too much.

Yelp
The service was great! And of course the beer was amazing. I got the Dragon's Milk Reserve (YUM). We all split the chicky chicky parm parm pizza, and there wasn't a slice left! The sauce was extra yummy and flavorful. The restaurant was clean and I loved the minimal Dutch decorations. I'd love to visit here again whenever I come back to Michigan!

Yelp
We visited this spot during our trip to Holland. It was packed, but we were able to get on the waitlist and were told to return in about an hour. When we came back, they hadn't saved a spot for us and admitted they'd forgotten to call, though they managed to seat us shortly afterward. It felt a bit unorganized. Once seated, we ordered a few appetizers and some beer on tap. The food was phenomenal and more than made up for the wait. The atmosphere here is very casual, with a great selection of food and drinks, including cocktails. We tried the queso, cheese curds, and nachos, all of which were fantastic. This seems to be one of the most popular spots in the area--worth the visit!

Yelp
Good food and enjoyed the beer. As I recall it was a fruit mix, but was refreshing on a hot day. Enjoyed the pretzels as a mid-day snack.

Yelp
Stopped in with 2 brothers, one of which lives in GR, and was surprised by the size and height of the ceilings! Very impressive! There was a good crowd, but we sat right away. Looking at the beer menu, couldn't decide, so I ordered a flight of 4 different beers and the Nitro Irish Stout was my favorite. There was a nice selection of food and we started out with the spinach/artichoke dip and had a bbq pork sandwich that was very good. Good beer, good food made for the perfect afternoon!

Yelp
Pizza no tasted at all. Salad grill chickens so dry and terrible. Chili soups and all appetizers not tasted at all. Sorry

Yelp
I visited New Holland Brewpub last Sunday night and I have a big fan of their Dragon's Milk as I am a huge stout guy. The brewpub has a great location in downtown Holland. The vibe is contemporary and it's is a very nice brewery with lots of seating inside with TVs at the bar. They also have an outdoor beer garden, but it wasn't open as it's in the middle of winter. I arrived around 6:30pm and they had trivia going on. They had a ton of food options with a big menu. Also, I didn't realize that they made their own liquor as well so they had quite a cocktail menu. I ordered a 5oz of Dragon's Milk and Dragon's Milk Crimson Keep each. Both beers were awesome and they were $3.50/each. I ordered the Pepperoni Pinwheels, which were awesome, and I had to do a pizza review so I ordered a medium margherita pizza. The pinwheels were unique and the dough was extremely fresh. There was a lot of pepperoni and melted mozzarella sprinkled with parmesan. The sauces were very good as well! However, the pizza was a different story. The mozzarella cheese was solid and probably the best part as it had decent flavor. The pizza was overly dry as it probably sat under the lamp too long. You can even see that the basil was somewhat black/burnt. The crust was pretty flavorless due to it being overcooked slightly. I did not like the cherry tomatoes as they are always mushy when cooked on a pizza. Overall, the pizza was not good and it was a bad night for the pizza-makers. Crust: 3 Cheese: 5 Sauce: 3 Toppings: 3 Overall: 3.5 Prices were extremely good to me as the cost of living in Holland is much lower than Chicago. $15/medium pizza, $14/app, and $7/pints. The bartenders were friendly and the food came out fast. Overall, I am a fan of New Holland Brewery as they had solid food, great beer, and a great vibe. The pizza could have been way better, but that's ok and I am sure their other dishes are better as the Pepperoni Pinwheels were great!

Yelp
We had a reservation on Mother's Day at 1 and the sat us right when we walked in at 12:55. The staff was fantastic, they were patient despite the crowd and were attentive. The space was clean and comfortable and the patio was lovey. The pickle pizza was amazing. I was shocked too, but try it. The tomato bisque was nice and light, very tomato/herb soups feeling. The loaded baked potato soup was also amazing - thinner broth with chunks of potatoes. The kids chicken fingers were excellent and turkey club sandwich was also good. Though next time we would just get two pizzas! Looking forward to coming back here next time we are in town.

Yelp
We stopped here after visiting Windmill Island for the Tulip Festival. It's a short drive over and we luckily found street parking available. It's great weather so Holland is packed with families enjoying the tulips and all that downtown has to offer. This restaurant has a laid back vibe and the staff are all very accommodating. We had reservations for 12:15 but arrived at 11:20 because we got into town so early to see the tulips. The host came through the line waiting to go in asking if anyone had reservations. I said we did but that we were way early. He still pulled us out of line and got us seated. I appreciated that - we were pretty hungry! Our server, Kayla, was excellent - she was really personable and very helpful with our decision-making. I appreciated her insights because we loved our meals. We had the Dragon's Share Cherry Selzter and the Dragons Milk Old Fashioned for drinks. The seltzer was excellent - you can really taste the cherry flavor but it wasn't sweet. Very easy going down. The Old Fashioned is made with their signature syrup, which has notes of chocolate and coffee. It was not bitter at all - very smooth. We ordered the hot pretzels that came with an onion cheese and hot mustard. I don't care for spicy mustard but the cheese was good. We both had the Apple Walnut Salad and it is served with the dressing on the side. I liked that - we all have different ideas of the "right" amount of dressing so this way, we controlled our own amount. This salad was outstanding...the lettuce was mostly made up of butter lettuce, which is so rare to come by in Michigan restaurants (it's everywhere in California, I've noticed). There were apples, dried cherries, blue cheese along with the walnuts...such a great taste! If you enjoy craft brews you absolutely must stop by and try their Dragons Milk brand products...S'mores and Stroop Waffle are two of my husband's favorites. They also have a store so you can pick up some to go!

Yelp
Very very nice place. We got food and drinks there, all of it was good. The service was very nice as well. I'll go back if I'm ever in Holland again.

Yelp
This is the place to cozy up in this winter! Excellent service, excellent cocktails, comfortable atmosphere, delicious appetizer. We ordered the Etole with tortilla chips. We will be returning very soon to try other offerings.
google avatar

Yelp
We sat in the patio and it was comfortable. The staff were nice. The beer selection was good! I enjoyed their lighter beers. The food was mediocre, but a nice compliment to the beer.

Yelp
One of my all-time favorite restaurants downtown Holland. I order their takeout quite frequently, and it's always delicious, hot, and the text updates make it so easy to know when my food is done and to head over. I visited recently with a friend and they accommodated us (we didn't want to sit at a high top) and seated us in a separate section. The food was delicious and came out quickly allowing us to enjoy our lunch and time socializing without overrunning my break. I highly recommend the pizza pinwheels. They're absolutely my favorite, and I usually go for regular ranch, though I've heard from many who enjoy spicy food that their chipolte ranch is great as well. The restaurant is usually on the louder side, even when they're not busy, but it doesn't really feel "too loud," but rather casual and inviting. During the summer, I recommend sitting outside if their patio is open. It's lovely

Yelp
***ATTENTION OWNER Walked in with a group of 12 and the "manager" would not serve us because 2 people in the group were holding coffees from Starbucks. We probably would have spent $600 here but the manager was confident he nor the owner did not need our business. The place was empty so I'm pretty darn sure the owner does not approve of this type of management. Someone needs to get ahold of the owner and let them know what is going on in their establishment. This clearly explains why the restaurant across the street is so busy with mediocre food and Holland Brewing Co is dead with better food.... I have been in the restaurant industry for 35 years and when a group of 12 walk in you pull out the red carpet, you don't deny service for a couple of 12oz coffees... all of this occurred while other patrons looked on with disgust.

Yelp
food was great! atmosphere was great! but our waitress, Shannon G was TERRIBLE. not only were two other tables served before us even though we got here first, but we had to wait over 15 min to get our drinks. I literally had to walk up to the bar to get it. and here comes Shannon just walking around even though her tables needed attention. management needs to fire her asap.

Kelly R.

Yelp
We had lunch here during tulip time and enjoyed it. The food is premade, so you can't make any modifications, but we enjoyed it nonetheless. The service was okay. It was difficult to get our waitress to come back for refills.
google avatar

Yelp
We had a fabulous time visiting one of Pabst Brewing Company's partners New Holland Brewing Company. The food was delicious but the beer and mixed drinks were even better! We ate on the patio and it was perfect weather. They have a TV outside and we even visited their gift shop. Shout out to the amazing waitress Tiffany that brought out our food & drinks quickly and made us laugh. Definitely would recommend New Holland Brewery & come here again!

Yelp
OMG this place was so good we went twice in one weekend. On the way too and on our way back from Mackinac. What we ordered: -soft pretzels with beer cheese: absolutely amazing!!! I am not usually a huge fan of soft pretzels but this one blew my mind, especially paired with the beer cheese. -chicken sandwich: we both got this one because of how tasty it was. Perfectly cooked, perfectly seasoned (dragon), and perfectly dressed. Again, I am not a big chicken sandwich girl but this one had just the right crunch yet also melted in your mouth. No gross textures that typically scare me away. -Rueben: I got this first and loved it. I always like Ruebens but am typically skeptical because I am picky with my corned beef. This Rueben was cooked great and had thin slices, which is my preference. I asked for extra thousand island sauce in the side for dipping. -pulled pork sandwich: partner got this one and he loved it as well. -fries: great!! You'd be surprised that people can make bad fries, but it is possible. Here, they make really good fries. -beer: partner said it was just okay. I cannot remember what he got. Service was wonderful. I did ask someone for the extra sauce who seemed to forget but when I finally saw our waitress she got it for me. When they get busy the service comes around less often, but that's to be expected. I liked that there were always so many people there, there was outdoor seating in the front and a beautiful beer garden in the back. The inside walls had giant windows that opened up to the outside which was also lovely. So, even if you end up inside, you can still get a taste of the outdoors.

Yelp
Good pizza, good beer, great setting. Sat in the beer garden on one of the hottest days. You are under cover but no fans to move the air but since it was after 7 pm it wasn't too bad. Would come back if in town
google avatar

Yelp
Good music, heated patio, warm food and good beer, what more could you ask for?! Located in the adorable downtown shopping area, the New Holland Brewery is just what we hoped for on a Saturday in October. The heated, covered Beergarden was a delightful experience on a cool fall evening. We started with beer, followed by some appetizers. The Ichabod is one if Community Tap beers where they make a donation ti a local Jon-profit when we one is ordered. It was a light, Pumpkin Ale, very drinkable and went well with the Pretzels and Beer cheese. Next we ordered the Elote Corn dip which was good but wished it had a little more cilantro, lime or even crab to give it a little something more. Katie was great, took good care of us and we will definitely visit again!
google avatar

Alyssa H.

Yelp
We were in town and decided to give this a try, we've had dragons milk in a bottle before so figured we would try this place out. This is THE LARGEST brewery/ or restaurant I have ever been inside. It was clean, not busy, but the weather was beautiful outside so we sat on the patio. The locals were very kind and chatty. The elote dip was bomb- rich with that cream cheese- who could resist- we couldn't we ate the entire thing although it was a large portion. In the flight I got a cherry limeade, kombucha, smores dragon milk 11%-it's hot, and a floralish beer. I didn't love any of them really, but I think I finished the cherry lime and kombucha first. The smores dragon milk burned my throat- I can't handle that high of abv. If I came back it would be for the dip.
google avatar

Katelynn D.

Yelp
A little disappointed that we waited two hours to get a table to only be told they were out of multiple drinks that we wanted. We did end up trying a few other drinks that were great though. The dragons milk old fashioned is probably the best old fashioned I've ever had. The dragons milk coffee and chocolate was also very good. This place is very packed on a Friday and Saturday, just a fair warning!
google avatar

Jessica W.

Yelp
Fun brewery with solid food options. The beer list is long and there is something for every beer drinker. I visited just before Halloween and they had some fall themed seasonal cocktails also. For apps the wings and pepperoni pinwheels are so good. Chicken Caesar was too fishy for me. My group liked their dishes and it was a good time.
google avatar

Brandon M.

Yelp
I love mostly all of new Hollands beers and wanted to enjoy them with food at their brewery and restaurant. They were out of their limited edition 25th anniversary but I was able to have a few other dragon's milk beers including a triple mash 5 ounce pour. The beers were fantastic as expected. My entree was a medium spiced chicken sandwich that was average along with the warm fries and distracted service by the young waiter. Large split dining areas with a covered patio. Numerous bathrooms. Somewhat loud. Clean. I would definitely return for the beer and might try something else on the menu.
google avatar

Allyson G.

Yelp
Very quick and friendly service. The place was huge! Went at a busy time (tulip time at lunch) and was seated right away. The food was magnificent. I am not a huge beer drinker but I love brewery food. We got the pizza rolls and elote corn dip for appetizers. I LOVED both of these. I love a restaurant that has these type of pizza rolls. We also got a chicken salad sandwich and it was great!
google avatar

Jared K.

Yelp
Good brews and good sandwiches. Would recommend, if you are in the area. I had the Nashville hot fried chicken sandwich this time, and it was rather delicious. I would have liked it to be spicier, but this is a good temperature for the Midwest. I had the triple mash and the continental brunchtime this time and my girlfriend had the found money (me and passion blaster. Most of what is on tap is available in stores, but they also have the pub exclusives you should try.
google avatar

Noel F.

Yelp
Had a lovely dinner here on our first night in Holland! Our reservation was for 8:30, and we got there a bit early and they sat us no problem, which was impressive for a Friday. Our pizzas were the highlight of our whole trip! The crust was perfectly cooked and our pizzas were so fresh. I had the pizza of the month, Jalepeno Popper and it was DIVINE. There's a cute little shop attached with glassware, stickers, and beer to take home. Everyone working was friendly. Cool place!

Yelp
My go-to restaurant when I'm in Holland! They truly never disappoint!! Their pepperoni pinwheels are a MUST!!! I also am a huge fan of their pesto grilled cheese and tomato soup. Everything is always so yummy, the staff is consistently friendly and attentive, and the vibes are always so fun! 10/10 always!

Yelp
Time to update this review, six years later! New Holland is always a must for me when I'm visiting Holland - I'm not a big beer drinker but I LOVE their pickle pizza, minus the bacon; it has melted cheese curds on it and is super delicious. They do take reservations and I was able to make a reservation for six of us (four adults, two babies) a few weeks in advance. Waitservice is always fast and friendly here too, and don't forget to check out the Sidecar next door for more beer and also other things.
google avatar

Erin P.

Yelp
My husband and I visited New Holland Brewing after walking around downtown Holland and really enjoyed our experience! We were there on a Saturday afternoon and were able to snag two chairs at the bar, so there was no wait for us! My husband ordered a beer (I can't recall which one), but the real star of the show was the Not So Loco Mocktail! The drink was absolutely delicious, and if you wanted to make it a cocktail, I think rum would go well in it! The vibe of the bar was nice - it was fairly loud, which is to be expected, but also very nice! We will have to come back again next time we are in town!
google avatar

Chris H.

Yelp
All around amazing. We had some great apps and beer. Love the outdoor seating and service. The entire town is amazing
google avatar

Linda I.

Yelp
Solid lunch option in downtown Holland! Enjoyed our beers and sandwiches. My mom got a Turkey BLT which was tasty and stuffed with a ton of turkey. My chicken salad sandwich was good, but thought it was a little skimpy with the chicken salad filling, which made it taste mostly like the onion bun (which was yummy but would have liked the chicken salad to have come through more). We got fries on the side and those were good - nice and potato-y.
google avatar

Greg M.

Yelp
We stopped in for a quick drink ended up chatting with Dan our bartender he was great! Our cocktails were delicious and perfectly made. We even took some bottle home with us.

Gina M.

Yelp
Food - burgers were awful. No flavor at all. Service- fair Ambiance- bar that serves food, very loud Would not recommend this place for food. Side note: gift store that is part of the restaurant sells all types of beer

Lisa M.

Yelp
The service was great, food was just okay. Pizza pin rolls were hot and tasty, but the mozzarella sticks were cold.
google avatar

Summi A.

Yelp
This was a fun restaurant that was able to accommodate a large group of us (16) for dinner (reservation was required in advance). They brew some excellent and unique beers and have a generous menu. They really nailed the "brewery" vibe inside. Lots of wood, iron, and casual decor. I would have given this place 5 stars, but one thing held me back. We received two pretzels for snacking. One was clearly overcooked and burned and the other one was perfect. I was surprised the "overcooked" one was even served at all. We sent it back, but I hate having to even ask to do that. It should never have been served (see the photos below). But, the beers were fantastic. I even bought some to take home. We'll be back for sure!
google avatar

Suzan G.

Yelp
Our server was very nice and accommodating. I had the pulled pork sandwich with coleslaw. The pork was very tasty, but it was a very small portion. The bun made the sandwich. The coleslaw was very bland even after adding salt and pepper. My husband had the beef and cheese sandwich with fries. The sandwich was very good. As you would expect the fries were good too. If you are really hungry you might want to add a side.
google avatar

Christopher A.

Yelp
My family wanted to get some food but we wanted to do take out. When we called the hostess was nice and took our order in a professional way. We ordered a big order of pizza, sandwiches, appetizers and plenty of sauces! When we got there we noticed how updated and modern the restaurant was. Looked really cool inside and had great marketing of their take out beers and products. The pizza knots and fried pickles were both really good appetizers. The breading in the fried pickles was one of the best breedings I've tasted. The two cheese pizzas we ordered were okay. Nothing special and felt like they needed more cheese on them. I ordered the stake sandwich which came with a sauce to dip it into and thought it was fantastic. Was probably the best thing we ordered out of everything. My family ordered a series of burgers and salads and thought they were just alright as well. The fries were just okay as well. If I could give this place a 3.5/5 I would. Nothing special but not bad food! We might be back.

Yelp
Food was very good I ordered the house salad with grilled chicken. Fries and jalapeño queso was very good and the rest of my party enjoyed the beer cheese pretzel and spinach and artichoke dip. Overall good gluten free options with pizza and and gluten free bun available. Service was good and we sat in the bar high top area. Recommend this place!

Yelp
We moved here a couple of months ago and have been coming here pretty much every week! It's our new favorite. Service is quick, we love the outdoor seating area and drinks/food is phenomenal :)

Yelp
Food & Drink: fantastic. They make great pizzas, their beer is as great from the source as it is from the bottle. Their Passion Blaster beer was phenomenal. Service: eh. Our waitress was managing multiple tables on a busy Friday night and did a great job staying on top of everything. And we understand that the job is to flip tables for more pay. However, there is a tactful way to do this - the tactful way to do this is not by bringing the meal before the appetizer is even finished and clearing our table as we are putting out coats on right next to our chairs. They also seemed to be paying 2 individuals to walk around with iPads and assess how close each table was to leaving, which struck me as an odd choice. The whole time we were there, it felt like we were being rushed out. Ambiance: pretty cool vibe. We were confused as to why there was a 30 minute wait when 25% of the tables in the place were empty and remained empty for the duration of our experience. I love the business so I can't leave a terrible star rating but the service definitely needs fine tuning.
