Steamed wonton in garlic sauce was amazing. Sesame chicken and General Tso was decent. Overall positive experience as it is hard to find genuine kosher Chinese

The guy on the phone was actually very sweet . And had no issues explaining what they have on the menu . To avoid any issues just order ur food on the app and pick it up . Really easy and quick service.

Delivery is consistently very late. Unreliable. Food is passable as your standard no frills chinese place. I recommend but only if you are picking up- bare in mind they have no Dine-in.

I order chicken and broccoli which was very distasteful, I barely have few strips of chicken and a whole takeout box full of broccoli. I order 2 spring rolls and only gone and, and they didn’t send not even a sausage. …And to top on that, the lady who came to delivery was super rude! I would not spend a penny on this place ever again.

Filthy place, hostile service. 2 kids found hair in different dishes. Not allowed to eat in the store. Weird dude with no trachea sits there all day telling people off. Weird, unpleasant vibe.

Take out only after scamdemic. Delicious, fresh, and clean food. Generous servings. Quick, pleasant, and efficient service.

Ordered food and they forgot to give item - they would not admit that they made a mistake. Will be calling the BBB and the kosher certification because this is stealing.

Nasty Food Nasty Service. Why are these people even in business? Ordered for delivery. God, everyone was sooo surly. Should have just hung up there, but made the mistake of trying to communicate with them. Food came - totally inedible. Ordered 2 chicken dishes and a beef noodle dish. Rice was hard as sand, noodles were greasy and disgusting and barely any meat in any of it. Not even the dog would eat it, and he eats poop.

This is a kosher place and the food was terrific! My son got fried dumplings and the chicken and broccolli. He loved it. I ordered the chicken and broccoli and brown rice on the side and was so pleased!

Its sad to leave a bad review especially since i may come back here. The chicken / meat size in your portion is very small but the taste is good. Mashgiach didnt look too frum and was sitting quietly reading a newspaper. However, uncleanliness and attitude of the workers is disgusting. I came in to pick up my order today and was standing and waiting for it. The lady behind plexiglass takes a napkin to wipe her nose, ok i thought at least she turned away from me to do it, then she proceeds to wipe the counter with that same napkin and then she wipes off a container lid that got some sauce on it with that same napkin (she wiped it on both sides) and then placed it back on the shelf to be given to the next customer. Ewww!

Got the sesame chicken and brown rice, or so I thought. Barely had any chicken, just tons of fried batter. Rice was good though! Guess I went vegan for a day. Disappointing how the quality has gone waaaay down

Dirty and very nasty!! The cashier was nasty as hell! With making dirty faces when you ask for chop sticks and yelling at us for asking for a cover to take the balance of our meal that we paid for!!

Honestly I would trust at least one of the reviews on Yelp, I spent over $40 dollars on food and it was dry and hard, also the cashier lady was (putting it nicely) nasty and the rudest person with the worst facial expressions, I called to let them know I wasn't satisfied with my order and she yells at me and tells me that there has never been one complaint about the restaurant, seriously I will never step inside this place again, for sure I will never order from this place ever. No stars for customer service. They tell me it is "fresh" I make chicken that tastes better and I don't even know how to cook (I kid you not).

This is my favorite Kosher Chinese place in. The. World. Their food is incredible. Real, authentic Chinese food. The people are hard-working and its clear they have worked hard to build their business. The food is incredible. My boyfriend and I happened upon this gift to Kosher establishments a few months back and haven't stopped talking about it since. It's really incredible.

Great food at reasonable price but one current problem:the cashier cannot see properly and needs new glasses that are progressives.That is minor,but the big question is :he is also the MASHGIACH,the Kosher supervisor who cannot see properly.Not a funny one.

Doing better. Cleaner, but still disorganized and rude. I did not come here for the company. Food also better but slightly smaller portions. Outsiders still treated with suspicion and hostility even at these prices.

This is the best kosher Chinese restaurant (as far as food) I've ever been to anywhere. The restaurant itself is very small and plain, not too many tables or places to sit.

Unlike other reviews, I found this place relatively clean and staff businesslike polite. Hot sour soup was good. Out of three different meals ordered two were inedible, one was marginally acceptable. I was hoping this will be an exception to the "Asian kosher food curse." Unfortunately it was not.

This is by far the best Chinese food I've ever had. They serve lunch specials all day, which is awesome. Only thing they could do better is start taking credit cards. Limiting it to cash only can be a pain.

I ordered almost 3 hours ago and they couldn't get their act together to make my food. I ordered 2 combination platters and a mei fun...large order... I get that it's Christmas but this holiday happens every year. They ran out of eggrolls and sweet and sour chicken. I was nice but when I sent my husband an hour and a half after I ordered (and was told 40 minutes) and it's a ready, I'm done. Horrible service. Actually, non-existent service.

Gross disgusting place. Tables are filthy. Floors dirty. I have no idea how the board of health hasn't closed this place. Never again.

Just ordered 2 meals from there and both came with rotten chicken, upon calling the store they offered credit applied to our account and then immediately hung up on me. We have no account on file so... i guess that was there way of saying we don't care about serving rotten food. I am now sick and in a lot of pain.

Maybe a deficating cow would be better at the front counter then the woman who took my order. The place was so dirty covered in filth and dust. The managers desk took up two tables meant for eating. And the food, it was gross. Couldn't get any worse. It was soggy and tastles. This would be one of the worst Chinese resturants I have ever been too.

(2.50 stars) An absolute enigma. New Kosher Special prepares kosher Chinese food which is among the best kosher food I've ever encountered; although below average for Chinese food. When the dietary requirements of our dining companions guide us to Elmora, this has been a favorite stop. Service is friendly and prices are very reasonable.

Chinese food was very good from here. I had it delivered to my hotel near Newark Airport the night before my flight overseas, and although there was a delivery minimum, it was worth it as all the food I ordered (and saved for leftovers) was delicious. The prices were reasonable. Service (ordering on the phone and delivery dropoff) was efficient. Overall I was impressed!

Best Chinese food even if you compare to non kosher Chinese which I used to have years ago. Place is very dirty and in need of a major upgrade, it seems like the dining area never gets cleaned.

The food is extremely inexpensive and above average in taste. The service is not great; they are easily overwhelmed when they get busy. The hours are very convenient; they are open fairly late at night. I wish they would start taking credit card it's annoying to have to pay for everything in cash.

Delicious food and and the prices of lunch specials cant be beat! I have ordered many different dishes and liked them all!

New kosher special is one of the few kosher stores in Elizabeth. They offer tasty food at a good price. However they don't take credit cards :(

really good food, ok prices, delivery to SI if you need it. wouldn't eat in the store itself as it's small and not so well kept but the food is second to none in the area

This store is different than the typical Kosher Chinese restaurant - it is owned by Asians and not by an American Jew. Maybe that is why their food is so good! The only non-Asian working there is the mashgiach. They do not take credit cards, but the prices are not that high. They have limited table space, you may want to consider take-out. Under the hashgacha of the Va'ad Harabanim of Elizabeth/Hillside, chaired by Rav Elazar M. Teitz.

Not sure why people think this is the best Kosher Chinese you can get... I found the food bland and the place in dire need of an upgrade. Didn't strike me with it's cleanliness either. And of course it's unconceivable that they don't take credit cards, especiall if they have an online ordering system. Something fishy?

although its the only kosher chinese restaurant in Elizabeth area - it happens to be one of the best chinese restaurants ive been too. awesome food at an awesome price. Downside is they dont accept credit cards so bring cash.

The food was fine. Nothing more. The place is absolutely disgusting. So filthy. And the woman at the counter is quite rude. It will never attract more than that small locked in orthodox crowd. So gross.

This place has, for years, offered consistantly delicious food. Different menu items have different flavors. And they have rice noodles as well, which is not always available at kosher Chinese restaurants. I don't recommend eating there, as it is not really set up for dining in, although there are a few tables for self-service dining. Prices are reasonable for kosher Chinese.

Food is absolutely amazing. Literally best kosher Chinese I've had living in multiple cities and two countries. But not a place you want to sit down and eat it. They do have a couple of tables, but it's really primarily a take out place. Thankfully, they offer delivery! Service could be better, occasional mistakes with our order, but again, hard to get too upset when the food is that good!
