"This boisterous dining hall draws crowds for its highly enjoyable Cantonese fare, while dim sum rules the day and dinner service offers a wide range of specialties. The interior leans elegant with a curved wall of floor-to-ceiling windows, glittering crystal beaded chandeliers and a photo-realistic mural of cherry trees in blossom. However, families and groups looking for good eats and good times keep things grounded.Diners check off their dim sum choices from a printed menu bearing helpful photos for novices, and selections emerge from the kitchen freshly prepared and steaming hot. Some of the hits include black pepper pork biscuits; supple wasabi shrimp dumplings; and steamed hot/sour pork soup dumplings." - Michelin Inspector

The food is yummy but not the healthiest with lots of food colouring and msg used. The quality is also, in my opinion, not the freshest. It is one of those restaurants where I think the ingredients are not speaking for themselves. Service is non-existent. The ambience and setting is bang on though, high ceiling and large open space. Price is very reasonable and portions are big. Is it worth dining at? I think for the budget minded, this is a top choice. Would I return? I would but not often. It is, however at the top of its class if you’re looking at similar budget places. Budget and overall being #1 focus. They run lots of nice discounts, not money grubby at all 👍.

We were invited to a 100 day celebration for our cousin’s daughter. The service and food was good overall. The only miss was the dessert. The mango jello corn and coconut pigs were cute but just tasted like they were from a powder mix. The almond cookies were just ok. Red bean soup was fair.

Went there on Saturday at 1 PM, and it was pretty busy—full house. We waited around 15 minutes for a table, but the food was served pretty quickly. The shrimp dumplings (har gow) and spare ribs are my favorites. You order by writing on a provided paper menu with pictures, which is pretty cool.

Service was hit or miss but lots of seating available on Sunday morning. Some dishes were better than others. The truffle siu mai was really good. The shrimp rice roll was also good. The donut rice roll was soggy and bland. The char siu buns were underproofed and had an odd taste to the meat.

they really fell off after two years despite not changing in management. lets start off with their roasted baby pig- which was too salty... how can u even mess that up... and its smaller than it was 2 years ago 2.5/5 their seafood veggie stir fry tasted like veggies and seafood blanched in OIL and it was blander than blanched chicken breast... the shrimp wasnt fragrant either 0/5 their crab soup just tasted like chicken stock powder and msg with a little real chicken flav in there 3/5 next off is their crab, soaked in this disgusting sauce that had the texture of snot due to too much tapioca starch. it was supposed to be ginger scallion flavour but it tasted like absolutely nothing. the poor crab died to he cooked like this? but at least u could taste it was fresh crab (tho it wansnt sweet or anythjng) 0.5/5 their fried pigeon wasnt dry, but wasnt juicy, but it WAS bland!! it tasted like old oil 1/5 their fish tasted fresh but the sauce was bland and not spicy at all- it tasted like watered down soy sauce.... 2/5 their veggies were do disgusting and chewy AND bland that we got them to remake it... the second time, it had some flavour and wasn't chewy but its still bland 0/5 -> 2/5 u be thinking: at least their desserts are half decent right? NO. its not as bad as rhe rest of the food, but its so sweet u wouldnt think that a chinese restaurant made this. their red bean soup was too sweet 2/5 their almond cookies tasted like chemicals and was too sweet 0.5/5 their pig shaped coconut pudding wasnt fragrant at all but the sweetness level was ok 2/5 their mango pudding tastes standard 2.5/5 as for their appetizers- the radish was too hard 1/5 and their pig trotters just tasted like wine and was so hard its crunchy 1/5 overall 1.2/5

Service was not attentive—we waited over 20 minutes before anyone came to take our order. We ordered the lobster crab combo, which turned out completely tasteless. Another dish, the salted egg tofu, had a strange bitterness. When we mentioned it, they took it back to recook, but it still came out bitter and bland. We brought this up to a staff member (possibly the manager, as he was in a suit), and his response was shocking: “可能係你地唔岩好味” (Maybe it's just you who doesn’t like the taste). That’s not an appropriate way to handle customer feedback. The issue wasn’t a matter of personal taste—it seemed more like the salted egg was either off or had been overcooked. It would have been far more professional to acknowledge the concern instead of brushing it off. Overall, it was a disappointing dining experience, both in terms of food quality and service attitude.

The combo gives great value and quality. Food tastes good, the corn pudding tastes great as well. Worth a try.

The portions for the food here are big and the dim sum was yummy :) I really liked their congee with century egg and their chicken feet. Service was nice and quick too, and servers were friendly! I personally like some other dimsum options in Richmond area better but this place is worth a try! They also have king crab special dishes as well here which I think is unique compared to other dimsum places.
