Super cool Cafe. They roast their beans right here. Coffee was good, they do not offer any refills. Their scones were great. They occasionally have live music and lots of art to look at. It's a fairly good size located right on the corner so people watching happens. I'd recommend hanging out here and starting your day. They did have a full menu as well.

After the farmers market we stopped in for lunch. We'd been here once before and remember it being good. It didn't disappoint. I had a breakfast burrito, 2 others had a wrap and chicken salad sandwich. Very reasonably priced! Everything was delicious but the star was THE DONUT. I had been craving donuts for days. Thinking about them, smelling them in rooms where clearly a donut was not present (home office) and wanting to get some from the store but knowing they wouldn't live up to my expectations. I saw a humble (yet quite large) donut in the bakery case. White icing, rainbow sprinkles and knew I needed it. I thought I'd save it for after my meal because it was kind of dessert. But I caved immediately and took a bite. BEST DONUT EVER. Seriously. I said I'd share with my kid, but the next day when she didn't want the piece I'd saved, I ate it and it was still good on day 2. Go here! You won't regret it!

A breakfast burrito and vanilla latte. Delicious. Staff was very friendly and told me a bit about the city (since I've never been here). Big space with nice wifi.

Stopped in on a Saturday afternoon to get some drinks to go. Coffee was delicious! My husband's drink came right away, mine did take a little bit. He had just ordered a regular coffee, medium roast. I had gotten an iced vanilla latte, which the bistro had said was one of the most popular flavors. The cafe had a very fun vibe. They had a variety of different baked goods that looked really good, and some options for Cafe items. It was pretty busy for the hour of the day, and then the employees were very welcoming.

Spacious and welcoming cafe with tasty options for breakfast lunch and dinner.

Corner coffee shop downtown Oshkosh, WI. Ice cream coffee treats and more. Plenty of seating open 7am-8 pm

Google
Cute little shop! We stopped in quick before getting back on the road. The bagel sandwich was really good. The caramel Late was super yummy 😋 Place was pretty busy for it being rainy. Highly recommend 👌

Google
A wonderful relaxing atmosphere with the best burritos i have had for breakfast. wonderful coffee drinks that will make you want to return every day. The staff is excellent and the free WIFI is great. will return whenever i am in the area.

Yelp
Such a treasure is downtown Oshkosh Historic old building, which according to some, is haunted. This place just oozes with character, with the high ceilings, the cracked tile floors the big plate glass windows looking out on the intersection of Main Street, Washington Avenue and Altima Boulevard. There are always a couple vegetarian soups and great baked goods. I had the triple chocolate cookie, sinfully rich. The espresso is very good here. Highly recommend.

Yelp
Coziest coffee shop around. Coffee is roasted right inside, it is always amazing! Great food options too, love the burritos and scones!
google avatar

Tanya K.

Yelp
Stopped here because it was one of the few places open on a Sunday afternoon. Had a delicious caramel latte and enjoyed the space.

DJ W.

Yelp
Coffee. I love their coffee. This is a busy spot and you will likely have a wait, but it's worth it. It sits in the historic district of Oshkosh with plenty to see and do. The atmosphere is rustic modern with original moldings from long ago. The staff are busy but friendly. If you want shorter wait times, go mid week. If you aren't worried about it, go during the Farmer's Market on Sundays. You'll be glad you did.

Yelp
As an avid consumer of breakfast, this was a great spot! This cafe was charming and it's the perfect spot to do work, catch up with a friend, or just enjoy some food and a drink. I got the Bike Shop Breakfast Burrito with a Matcha Latte w/ Oat Milk. The burrito was the best with freshly cooked scrambled eggs and the seasoned rice inside was delicious. I loved it. The matcha latte warmed my soul early in the morning. PS: There was free art by the entrance which we grabbed. Definitely will be finding a home for these.

Yelp
Kinda the OG coffee shop here in Oshkosh. Great space, great roast, solid food choices. I can't stand Starbucks coffee, this is the place to plug in sit and work.

Yelp
Great coffee! Friendly service and breakfast was very good! Really appreciated the eco friendly container for takeout. Beautiful old floors...

Yelp
Looking for that delicious cup of coffee and great atmosphere to relax, look no further than New Moon Coffee in Oshkosh, WI. They offer a wide variety of coffee, hot and cold, smoothies, as well of food options. They roast their own blend and it delivers a delicious pick me up to get you going. You will be sure to catch several locals hanging out if you stop in as well as tourists stopping by to taste the delicious morning burritos. Don't miss it or you'll be sorry.

Yelp
New Moon is a charming small cafe. Food is good and prices are reasonable. Staff is friendly. No one is in a rush. I have no complaints.

TJ H.

Yelp
Many delicious food, beverage, and even ice cream voices. Immaculate vibes. The crew are so kind and knowledgeable regarding the menu and they are excellent at food and beverage prep. Love the people and the food! Vegan chili, Tanner's Breakfast Bagel, and a hot Lavender latte are some of my favorite things to order again and again. Love New Moon!
google avatar

Tiffany S.

Yelp
New moon is great. A downtown isn't a downtown without a great standby coffee shop, and New Moon delivers. They have absolutely delicious lattes (caramel is my favorite). They also have delicious pastries and food. I love their scones, and the peanut butter moon brownies are righteous. They have a great variety of breakfast sandwiches for vegan and meat eaters. My favorite menu item has to be the bbq chicken quesadilla, though! Stop by and grab some beans too!
google avatar

Yelp
Quick in and out so, frankly, haven't much to say. Great corner location across from an open space, so if you don't feel like being inside you can bring your coffee there. Inside is quite large with plenty of seating to visit with friends or work if you must. Barista was super friendly, patient, and kind as I changed my drink choice once I noticed the drink specials of which there is quite a selection. My coffee was made perfectly and tasted great.

Yelp
Good snacks to go with solid coffee. Nice ambiance. I'd love to own this shop. I'd love to buy it.
google avatar

Yelp
Just had a cappuccino and muffin here. Both superb. 20 minute wait, as the line was long but moved along nicely. Well worth it.

Jay L.

Yelp
Great food. Wonderful menu with ice cream coffee pastries even alcohol drinks beer Nice ambiance and seating area but girls on staff are not even as friendly as junk yard dogs Probably the two I met went to the same charm school This place would get 5 stars if they were even a little bit friendly

Yelp
The place: I saw this place from a distance the previous night. The signage is noticeable. Inside, plants line the windows. There are big menu chalkboards hanging over the counter area. Sunny windows, a collection of tables on either side of the center aisle that leads up to the counter. Some of the tables are a bit wobbly because they're set on a ramp. This is perilous with a full cup of coffee. The location: On the corner around from Manila Resto in downtown ish Oshkosh. There's plenty of street parking. It looks like two hour parking. The food/drink: The chocolate chip scone was soft and delicious. It reminded me of a very cakey cookie with big chunks of chocolate. The coffee is roasted on site, and the dark roast doesn't need much cream. The service: Pleasant. I appreciated the barista was open enough to admit she was tired. Me too, friend, me too. Next time: I'm going to get a proper meal. It looks like there's a good selection of sandwiches!

Toni W.

Yelp
I love this coffee shop! It has a great vibe. Good food. Good coffee. They understand tea. The employees are cheerful and efficient....knocking the drinks out PDQ. I would give them six stars if I could! I cannot wait to come back for another visit!
google avatar

Yelp
I love this place so much! When you walk in, you see a bunch of cool plants and cool people. The employees are all very stylish and polite. My kids love the ice cream, and I love the espresso. There's something for everyone! I recommend the mushroom brie soup here. It's delicious, and they don't skimp on the bread or the crackers. That's what I like.

Emily W.

Yelp
Awesome coffeehouse! The atmosphere is classic coffeehouse, with a little more breathing room. The coffee is flavorful and smooth. We ordered some classic sandwiches (Dinah and a breakfast sandwich) but they were fresh and delicious. One element I appreciate from their food is it's not overly salty! The wheat bread was so light and fluffy even my picky eater ate it. 10/10 would definitely recommend!
google avatar

Logan W.

Yelp
The coffee was great and the donuts reminded me of the Simpsons which used to be one of my favorite shows an overall 10 out of 10.

Yelp
While on summer vacation, I wanted to show my family where I spent many a night burning the midnight oil studying here while drinking coffee when I attended UW Oshkosh for my undergrad during the late 90s. The establishment was then called Blue Moon. While I liked the decor then better than now, I'm glad the owners kept the original floor. The coffee drinks are very good and the owners are very friendly.
google avatar

Yelp
Saturday morning staff is amazing. Coffee is wonderful, roasted in house. There's always cool local art on the walls and the building in clean and interesting. Great beans, too :)
google avatar

Yelp
We love New Moon and go there often. We especially appreciate that they ENFORCE mask wearing!

Anup S.

Yelp
The coffee here was okay, but the breakfast sandwiches were very good. Came here two mornings in a row when visiting oshkosh fir Airventure.

Amy R.

Yelp
I love everything about New Moon, from the cozy atmosphere to the healthy, filling food selection. I love that they help me pick my tea (they never steer me wrong), and that I feel comfortable sitting for a long time, sipping, dining, reading, whatever! It's where I go when I want to forget about my hectic schedule. As a bonus, it becomes immediately evident they care about diversity, the environment, and ethical consumerism.

Yelp
Finally our last day in oshkosh we found our coffee place. Beautifully simple clean inside with the best dark roast ive had in a year. You wont be disappointed w the coffees, smoothies and bakery etc. on a cute corner w plenty if street parking. The item prices should be higher

Yelp
This is our new favorite coffee place! Great atmosphere.. very friendly staff I really enjoy a good cup of coffee and the coffee here did not disappoint Lots of flavor choices for your coffee as well ... I really like their lattes and their cappuccinos Good selection of treats and ice cream to boot ! We will be regulars here for sure

Yelp
The food is tasty, beverages are made well. Usually not too long of a wait. Staff are generally neutral or friendly, and the place is reasonably priced. The seating is quite uncomfortable and rickety, and as a grad student spending long hours there I'd like a little more comfy seats. But otherwise it's a solid spot with good atmosphere.

Scott C.

Yelp
I love finding that every city has an amazing local coffee shop, and New Moon is that spot in Oshkosh. What I like is the space and atmosphere. It's laid back, and the seating is all spaced out enough that you have enough personal space. It's easy to have a conversation with someone, or doing work on your computer and you're not disturbing anyone else. I'm a tea guy, and I do like their tea selections, and it's cheap! I got an herbal raspberry tea, and it kept me relaxed and focused so I could get some work done. Of course there are plenty of coffee drinks and they offer breakfast and lunch. Haven't had the food yet, but it is very tempting. A couple of oddball things to note. Bring cash as they have a $5 minimum to use a credit card. One drink won't cut it. Also to use their bathroom you need to get the key to get in. There's nothing wrong with that. I was easily entertained by people walking up to the door, couldn't get in, asked to get the key, and then realized the keys are sitting not too far from the bathroom.
google avatar

Kelsy R.

Yelp
Rude and unprofessional staff. Takes forever to get a drink and it's way overpriced. Won't be back!
google avatar

Nicole M.

Yelp
A wonderfully laid-back cafe. Definitely run by some of nicest hipsters you may ever meet. I stick to espresso drinks and they make a pretty good latte. Not the best, I've had, so stick with their clever concoctions. Their holiday drink specials are awesome! Love their Witch's Brew! I've only eaten here a couple of times and it was alright, nothing too special but it filled my belly. I have had the breakfast burrito. The combination of rice and eggs was new to me, but it was decent. Their soups are really yummy! In the evenings they have live music which is nice for the area.
google avatar

Yelp
I live literally right across from the street from this place in a loft on Main st. and I am very happy to have such a great coffee shop so close by. The Coffee itself, as well as their assorted expresso drinks, are very good, and the place also serves an assortment of food that is tasty and not overly expensive. Vegetarian options are also available Best of all, if you are looking for a place to just chill out and relax there are a number of comfy chairs and sofas to sit on to relax. They also have Wifi, so you can also bring your laptop.
google avatar

Yelp
I saw this place on Tuesday when I was walking thru Main Street, but decided to stop by on Wednesday for a little break. This is a cute little coffee shop/cafe. The guys working here are super nice & helpful. I got a scoop of ice cream & an iced lychee black tea. I got birthday cake ice cream. It had chunks of cake in it! I was surprised because I thought it would just have a cake flavor with sprinkles. It was really good. The iced lychee black tea had a slight hint of lychee. Maybe I shouldn't have eaten the ice cream before. I couldn't enjoy the tea as much. It was still ok though.

Yelp
So happy to have stumbled upon this incredible local roaster. Highly recommend the moon bunny coffee and the blueberry muffin. Going back tomorrow!

Yelp
A great little cafe in Downton Oshkosh! New Moon has a very fun, hipster vibe to it. A variety of seating options are offered, booths and small tables, plus a raised platform with more tables. The coffee menu covers most styles, so you should be able to find your favorite kind. The food leans towards the vegetarian and vegan side of things, just so you know, and can be a bit eclectic. The Andrew's burrito was delicious, but unexpected with it's pairing of a breakfast burrito with jalapenos and sauerkraut. Overall, a laid back coffee shop for either quick coffee or a relaxed breakfast!
google avatar

Yelp
ARCHI-CULTURE --this is what a coffee shop should be. Flatiron-corner of a Victorian bldg. Big picture-windows frame Downtown Oshkosh --as swirling winds dapple the sidewalk & park white with snow. Oh--& the hot apple cider & wi-fi ain't bad either.

Yelp
I had a long work day and I was very hungry and cranky. My coworker had a sandwich here earlier, so I thought I'd follow suit 3 hours later. I walk in Monday at about 3.30pm and it was relatively empty. I got the redthorn wrap - which is a curried chickpea wrap - and a cup of veggie chilli. It was massive! I only paid about $7.50 for the meal, and then got an iced chai latte ($3.80). Serious bang for your buck.
google avatar

Yelp
New Moon Coffee is the epitome of coffee shops. The abundance of plants that greet you when you walk in the shop, the expansive menu, and the overall relaxed vibe makes this shop stand out from the rest. Plus, they offer different events for the community, like Open Mic Nights. I love supporting local businesses, and will keep going to New Moon for as long as possible!
google avatar

Henny L.

Yelp
Lovely coffee. One of kind new moon brownie, stuffed with ground peanuts. We also had a warm bagel with honey cinnamon cream cheese. The cafe is on a nice corner of the main street. There's Farmers Market on until October every Saturday now, if I'm not wrong. Definitely a good place to get our coffee fix.

Yelp
OMG REAL COFFEE! I was in Oshkosh for EAA and camping on the grounds. Could only take a couple of days of the watered down, burnt maxwell house knock off they were serving for way too much so I had to break away. They have a great corner location right on main. And it is on a one way street btw (opps!) I'm sure the baristas knew exactly where I was from and what I needed from my sunburnt-hobo attire. I was obviously camping and in need of some espresso STAT! I asked who the roaster was and the barista was very knowledgeable and even pulled me a sample! They had specials, great pastries and apparently food. But the thing that I loved the most was the layout and the atmosphere of the shop. They had soo many couches and comfy chairs. All alighted perfectly for several little business or friend get togethers. Will definitely be back for more of the cherry latte, now only if I could convince them to have a little cart on eaa grounds?..

Yelp
We stopped by here a hot summer day while we were visiting Country USA in Oshkosh and had some nice cold drinks. I tried the Berghoff's Black Cherry soda, YUM. Coffee was good, the atmosphere was perfect to sit and have a conversation, no rush to move along here, there was plenty of room in this coffee house. Staff was super friendly and didn't rush you to order.
google avatar

Yelp
New Moon is a lovely place with great people working there. They are always patient with my grandmother when she comes in there even though she is a bit slow (Especially before her first cup of coffee) and I am always pleased with the cappuccino I get here. I question the freshness of their baked goods, but they are still delicious. Even a plain cup of black coffee is good there. The atmosphere is very nice, the whole place feels very Feng Shui'd out. It DOES feel a bit cramped, but I think they've only added that much seating because of how popular this place is. They also seem to have grounded and ungrounded bean options for you to take coffee home. Awesome!
google avatar

Yelp
This place is as good as it gets around here, especially if you give a damn what goes into your body. It's inexpensive and local. It's relaxed and friendly. There is free Wifi. They have a nice vegan and vegetarian selection, almond and soy milk and they are flexible with substitutions. They have a hummus spread and an olive/red pepper tapenade spread that go on their wheat berry bread sandwiches (you can add the spreads to any sandwich or wrap). They have a few vegan burritos and an awesome one called "The Firehouse" filled with with chili, hot sauce, ground cayenne and jalapeños (yes!!)...and topped with MORE chili! They have a peanut butter and jelly sandwich on their wheat berry bread if you're jonesin'. They also make a killer bowl of vegan chili (I had some). They have baked goods too, some gluten free. There are sandwiches, quesadillas, wraps and even breakfasts. They open at 6:30am and are open late, 10pm. Going to be back tomorrow morning to try the awesome coffee everyone on here is raving about. I'm stuck here for a few days, so thanks again Yelp! This place will get me through.
google avatar

Yelp
There are so many good things to say about this place. Their coffee is prime, obviously. Great mochas, great Americanos, great whatever. I absolutely loved everything I've eaten here - awesome sandwiches, great pastries, wonderful ice cream. All of it was spectacular. Oh, and the staff. These people are awesome. All of them. Seriously. They're not even remotely pretentious like so many indie coffee house folks you run into these days.
google avatar

Cptjack 6.

Yelp
Caught an open mic night and there was a good crowd in attendance. Ordered a mocha and they did a good job. They were very attentive and brought it out to where I was waiting. The only seat to wait in was at a table that hadn't been cleaned yet.
google avatar

Yelp
I love this coffee shop. They serve gourmet coffee, light sandwiches, and specialty beers. When you want to chill out with friends, this is the place. For me, it has the Friends Central Perk feel to it with their couch sitting area. Artist from the area always have new, and sometimes unusual, displays. They also have live music and their staff is exceptional. It's so much more than just coffee!
google avatar

Sara H.

Yelp
For someone who loves and craves vegan, gluten-free bakery items and excellent coffee, this place hits all marks. I had a few hours to kill while waiting for my ride back to Chicago, and my friend recommended this gem of cafe. It did not disappoint, and in fact pleasantly surprised me. Here's why: The aforementioned vegan, gluten-free muffins were out of this world (especially the chocolate zucchini) The aforementioned coffee, in this case a dark roast called Soft Espresso. Yum. The friendly staff The super bright, high-ceilinged, but somehow still cozy and intimate interior The great views onto Main St, perfect for spacing out and watching life go by The not-too-loud-but-pleasant music The clean bathroom The cash machine The all-around welcoming, chill vibe If you ever have occasion to go to or through/near Oshkosh, WI, make the New Moon a part of your itinerary. Then stop at Exclusive across the street and buy some music. Enjoy!

Yelp
We're in town once a year and New Moon is a frequent choice for lunch and an afternoon coffee. Because we are there in March, I gravitate toward their daily selection of hearty soups. Wraps and sandwiches are consistently good. Lots of vegetarian options. Coffee is good and you beat the craziness of Starbucks.
