I didn't learn my lesson. Just because a restaurant is nearby doesn't mean it's good. I've tried this place three times and each time I tell myself it's not good food. Hot and sour soup was pretty good, egg roll was skimpy and cooked in old fryer fat as were the crispy noodles. The worst thing was the inedible chicken fried rice. Overcooked and very dry with no flavor. Even soy sauce couldn't help it. Third time is not a charm. Never again.

First time ordering from here. When I opened the food, the beef from the beef and broccoli looked very strange. Not what the beef typically looks like when I order from other places. It was also very chewy, I couldn’t even get through most of it. The egg rolls were ok…not fantastic but not entirely terrible. I think I’ll stick with my regular new moon in Naugatuck. Edit: and the manager hung up on me after saying something to the effect of “that they prepared a lot of beef and broccoli, this is the first time that anyone’s had any trouble.”

I order on line for 2 orders of chicken wings for delivery. I paid a tip and they had me pay a dollar for delivery. After a hour I called. After getting through, I explain the situation, they asked me to hold on for a manager and hung up on me. When I called back, they said I didn't ask for delivery. Arguing for a 1 or minutes. I just cut them off and asked for my money back. PLEASE, BE VERY CAREFUL OF THIS PLACE!!!! P.S still waiting for my money!!!!

Just pure nasty. Food taste like it was cooked 3 days ago. Hard chewing chicken. Like why? Close this place down

Order #91519174 I was highly dissatisfied with the meal going to try and take pictyres and post it up i ordered the food around 4:30pm didnt recieve until 5:30pm but gave them benfit of the doubt maybe they ade busy it is hiliday season. Once we recieved the food it was cold everything was cold i was going to call back and have them take it back but i just threw it in the microwave we were already starving. Then they gave us free sugar donuts and my sistwr and i got super excited since it has been years we had them and we were grateful, it was cold just olain cold and as soon as we bit into it we just got squirted with oil it was gross. Highly dissappointed and it truly was a waist of money.

Definitely not what I thought, rice has no color and no flavor. I had to put 2 soy sauce in it. And the crab rangoon honestly barely had any filling inside. For the price is not even worth it! Save your money! The spare ribs tasted like its been sitting out for a while... The eggroll was probably the best taste wise ..

Ordered online and did not read the reviews just saw the 4 out of star rating and decided to order from here. The food is awful. The crab rangoon had little filling and tasted old. The egg roll was just bad I can't describe it. And the general TSO's was rubbery and tasted off. Beware the old reviews are good the new ones are definitely not

The woman taking my order was very pleasant through with my order I would recommend ordering from here here's a plus folks had a slight problem with my chicken and rice soup were the broth leaked into the bag it was promptly taken care of by this restaurant first time ever I've seen a Chinese restaurant actually come through and bring me a new one definitely definitely recommend!!! Thank you new moon 2!!!!!!!

This is my go to place for my boyfriend and I. We always get General Tso's chicken combo with extra sauce and General Tso's shrimp with vegetables and white rice. They're quick, friendly, and very close by. The food is consistently good and the chicken is spicy but not too hot. The vegetables and rice are generous portions and I can get it whenever I'm feeling the cravings. I have tried many other places through trial and error and this one is definitely my favorite chinese food place. Not over priced and the food is not "sometimes" good. It's the same great quality every time I go. Very happy with this place

This food used to be really. The only item I actually liked was the wonton soup. The fried rice was tasteless and had hardly any vegetables in it. The two orders of shrimp Toast were burnt and they tasted like floor cleaner. I paid for the food when I called in otherwise I wouldn't even had ordered at all because the place is filthy. Food containers on the floor, food just laying out all Over the place. Just nasty. If I could give it less stars I would.

Family busy business, Great chicken wings and asked for extra crispy and nice lunch specials. Service is good but realllly should have a paper menu for the prices. They should change the roughness in the take out area but, the prices are great.

I have been ordering from here for about ten years. The food was lousy when I ordered two days ago. Pepper steak was all grissel. Very nasty. It's a shame, their food used to be good.

First time ordering from them and probably my last. I hate to give a bad review but honestly it was like eating air and paying extra to have a Grubhub driver deliver it. I ordered the General Tso's with pork fried rice and there was absolutely no flavor to it at all and the chicken was dried out. Maybe it was just a fluke but I think I'll try somewhere else.

Called to order, told be ready in 20mins. Be there as scheduled, not cook yet, will be another 10-15 mins. Be here couple of times, mostly late. Won't be here.

Public on the web Hated it I ordered some wings and the general tso chicken special combo on 7/31 The tso chicken gave me sour stomach after a few bites... I stopped... literally made me have instant runns... I ate alittle more b/c I was hungry then threw it out the window into the back yard... and it kept me with the runns for a week. I called the restaurant... the owner gets on the phone and tells me... with my friend on 3way, "maybe you stuff yoself with to much food". "We sell 100 orders of tso chicken, why you only one call get sick." He really actually said, "I think you the problem with you stomach, you eat to much food!" I told him... "I will never buy anything from you again... I spend $40 -$50 week in take out... looking for some good food... I am a Chef by trade Le Cordon Bleu, chef... I need to just cook... Rude and if you ask me that was racist. I ordered lunch express delivery & fried wonton... nice portion of general tso and boneless ribs. Rice was excellent! Great flavors & fast service. This was the best chinese food I've had in a very long time. Seeing how I moved to CT from Puerto Rico and well, let's just say they do it differently in Puerto Rico. I've tried several restaurants in this area and now I am happy to have a place that I can trust will provide me with quality Chinese food. 5 Stars and a big, Thank You! A big F

I have lived in the area & ordered food from here, for over a decade, through several relationships lmaooo, the food to me is the the best Chinese in the area. They take pride in what they send out, and it shows in the presentation & taste. I recommend the beef lo mein & Seasame chicken...made with white meat chicken & pork fried rice

Not the best Chinese food but one of the better priced Chinese restaurants in Waterbury, They have a cheap lunch special which is the only time I call them, several issues with delivery drivers in the past as well. So I have seen the restaurant and it is actually pretty clean. So feel comfortable ordering from here if cleanliness is what you seek.

There was spit on my food and when i asked for new food it was crushed and they had a big attitude about bringing me a new order

Place will overcharge you on every single item on the menu...this is their little scam they have going. Many Chinese restaurants do this but they do it on every item and make a few bucks off of each customer. On top of doing this their food is just awful and their oil in the fry-o-lator taste old and nasty.

This food was utterly disgusting the Fried wontons were rock solid the general tso's chicken was so water and mushy and had a disgusting texture and I honestly feel like I have food poisoning I woke up this morning and just vomited for like a hour DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE IF YOU CARE ABOUT YOU HEALTH... I also spent $62 on my entire order and it took 1 1/2 hour to get here I'M LIKE A HALF MILE UP THE ROAD ... Honestly just don't save your money and if you live in the townplot area just go to Vincenzo's pizza or highland garden ... I honestly feel sick

I ordered some food from this restaurant today, expecting it to be decent. However, the DELIVERY SERVICE IS AWFUL. Having ordered at approximately 3:20 pm, my order did not arrive till almost 5pm. An hour and a half for stupid Chinese food. I called multiple times during this wait and was repeatedly told the food was somewhere outside and would be delivered soon. Soon was apparently not enough. Never again will i take out from this place.

After 16 yrs of ordering from this place. They sent me the wrong food and I waited over an hr for my order. I called and asked them why it's taking so long they told me that the driver was beeping his horn outside. Phone person said it was not there problem anymore because we didn't hear or come outside . I told him how long I've been ordering from them after arguing how I was at fault for not hearing there horn. I told him the driver should of came to the door like every delivery guy does.I asked him to speak to the owner he said he was the owner laughing at the same time. People do not order from these people anymore even if there food is good obviously they did not to come to the door like they were supposed to because it was already paid for. They only care about their money and not giving a damn about good service to us customers. I've never been so disrespected like this and I am not to complain about much. But when I have a kid that was hungry and looking forward to have his favorite Chinese food and the dam owner tells me that I got beat for not coming outside to get his food I have a big problem with that!!! DO NOT ORDER FROM NEW MOON ! SHAME ON THE OWNER FOR BRINGING HIS MENTALITY FROM ANOTHER COUNTRY! !

Very cold food I live literally 8 blocks from them the food was cold and nasty my order came to 12.00 I gave him a 20.00 and gives me back 1.25 then he took of speeding away ,so I called and the pretty much told me I was assed out and I told him that word of mouth is very powerful when you know a lot of people

I ordered lo-mein and it was chopped up into tiny pieces, what? I asked for a new one and they said "NO". Well...I say NO to ever going there again and spending $25..I will go to get delicious lo-mein in Middlebury/Watertown, where they appreciate their customers. I mean I go there a lot, it's usually OK, but for a regular customer to put up with something unsatisfactory is BS, so no more New Moon Chinese for me.

So disappointed...we've been ordering from here for years and have never had a problem until recently. I'm currently still waiting on an on-line order that I placed 2 hours ago. I called after an hour and whoever answered said hello but no business name, so I had to ask if it was New Moon...the attitude was terrible! Anyway, they said it would be here in a few minutes. It wasn't, so I called again after another half hour and was pretty much accused of lying about the order not arriving. I would have canceled the order if my card hadn't already been charged. Needless to say, they're supposedly making the order now because it was never even made in the first place even though she said it was on its way the first time I called. Worst experience ever and they've lost my business for good.

This place is awful. This was the first and last time ordering here. Took over an hour to get our food. It came cold. The veggie lo mein smelled like cigarettes. The orange chicken meat looked almost black and tasted spoiled. Tried to call them and explain it and they were rude. The woman who answered basically said oh well. So I went to the restaurant with all the food. The owner was rude and disrespectful. Called me an f**** b**** under his breath and then had the nerve to say I was pissing him off because he was losing money. Maybe if they didn't serve spoiled food then they wouldn't lose business.Also there was huge bowl of raw chicken and beef just sitting out behind the counter. The owner was so rude and tried to only give me a partial refund. I wasn't leaving without a full refund. I ended up leaving with a full refund and I called the health department the next day. The health inspector said it wasn't the first time they had food problems. He was glad no one got sick from the food and we didn't continue to eat it.

I tried this place after passing it for the past 6 months and wondering "are they any good"? Yes, they are! To be fair, I have only been there once and didn't order much but my benchmark for a 'good' Chinese restaurant is the chicken and broccoli and they passed. I went in to place my order b/c I like to see where my food is coming from. It was clean and didn't reek of grease. From what I could see of the kitchen and the cooking/prep surfaces, they were clean and ready for my order. I ordered a pint of chicken and broccoli and an egg roll, which came to $6. A great price for the two meals I got out of it. The chicken was nice and white, not mystery meat and the broccoli was a beautiful green color, not overcooked but perfectly steamed. The brown sauce wasn't greasy at all and there was plenty in the serving that I wasn't searching for more. The egg roll was crispy and pretty standard tasting as far as egg rolls go. I will be back for more and will take them up on their delivery option ($10 minimum order & surcharge after 3 miles). They also offer brown rice, which is a nice alternative, as a lot of other restaurants do not offer that. Their menu has the website of www.delivery.com. Just ordered a few mins ago must say every time I place my order my food is delivered fast must say like 20 mins & it's nice & hot ! I do not order from no other Chinese place ! I love this Chinese restaurant & I'll continue to order my food from here !!! Keep it up , I tell all my friends about you when they suggest another Chinese restaurant . Don't Change Anything
