My husband signed us up for a glass blowing class for my birthday. I have always wanted to try glass blowing and this class was so awesome!!! We went on Thursday and our instructor was Johnny. Everyone we encountered was so friendly and helpful. We loved the class so much and our instructor was absolutely fantastic!!! He taught us so much from the whole process of making a piece and even going into the history of the craft. We were able to make several beautiful pieces that we will treasure for a long time!!! It's absolutely worth it and I plan to take another class with them in the future!!! Highly recommend them!!! They offer other classes and even have summer camp classes for kids. So thankful we got the experience to work with them!!!

Google
I took a two-hour glass working mini workshop. Learned a lot about the process through hands-on experience. The instructor was friendly, taught so everything was easy to understand, and made sure I was safe the whole time. This is a fun activity for tourists that's different than the usual New Orleans attractions. It's a little pricey, but it is a fair price considering the furnaces needed, the material used (made four projects) and the educational experience.

We had a custom two day class with Andy as the instructor. We were pure beginners but wanted to learn the basics to see if glass blowing is something we will pursue in the future. Glass blowing is hard, the shop is hot, and we did get a few (minor) burns but we are hooked. Andy was beyond knowledgeable and accommodated our desire for deep learning. Thanks!!!

Margaret Schouest

Google
Andy was totally awesome at helping us learn glassblowing. We had a blast!!! So much work goes into glass blowing and we learned a ton. What a fantastic group experience. We all want to do it again.

Google
Such a great experience! My wife and took a 2 hour glassblowing class. Our instructor Zach was very patient, knowledgeable and seemed like a good dude in general. The staff was very helpful preparing us in what to expect from when my wife first call til after the class. Will go here again. Lots of classes in other media and of other lengths are available to.

Google
What a fabulous place! Definitely worth going in. The front room has gorgeous high quality glass work for sale and the back has a workshop where demos are done for the glass, pottery, metal work and printmaking.

Lindsey Smith

Google
Extremely disappointing experience. The employees were rude, and it’s clear that this business doesn’t handle criticism well. The way they respond to negative reviews speaks volumes. If they put as much effort into customer service as they do into arguing with customers, it might be a different story. I wouldn’t recommend giving them your business until they make some serious improvements. The response below is also a fabrication wow.

Yelp
I love hand blown glass items and New Orleans Glassworks has some very unusual pieces. Some are gallery worthy works of art and others are simply stunning curios or gifts, like vases with stunning floral scenes. None of the pieces had prices on them and there wasn't much in the way of staff to help. I was tempted to buy something but was leery of schlepping it a long distance over multiple trips. I also didn't have anyone available to ask.

Yelp
I took a 4 week class and I'm obsessed. Can't wait to sign up for the next class. The instructor was patient and had a great attitude. Always wanted to make sure we were getting what we wanted out of the class.

Yelp
Wonderful glass blowing gallery located near the WW2 museum in the business area of New Orleans. I have been fascinated by glass blowing after first being introduced to it a few years back in Italy, and I always tend to seek out new galleries if a city I visit has one. With that said, this studio has a spectacular shop filled with glass work from various local artists who have blown the glass on site. You can either take in the breathtaking artwork or admire one of the live classes in the back for free! Now to participate in some of the classes, it does come with a fee, but assuming from the professional artwork around and the kind staff, I could not see how it would not be a win win. I cannot comment on the cost for the classes, as I forgot to ask, but judging from the many reviews, it sounds like they have quite a few. I'd suggest visiting their website and or calling ahead and chatting with some of the wonderful employees behind the counter! Make sure to add this to your bucket list while in New Orleans if its up your alley as it will not disappoint!

Yelp
Did the glad blowing class with Jarrith. Highly recommend it. So much fun!!! A class where you get to learn, participate and take it home with you.

Yelp
I've not taken any classes here, so I'm just reviewing the gallery space. And let me tell you, the gallery space is gorgeous! And sort of terrifying to a clumsy person like me. There are amazing glass sculptures as well as smaller ornament type items and handmade wine glasses and the like. There are also prints and paper art but that's maybe 10% of what's on display. Gorgeous work and lovely place to find a special gift or piece of art.

Yelp
I've actually never been inside this store. I tried to get information about a printmaking class they were offering -- there was a sign saying when and where but nothing else. Why would anyone spend time and money on a class without knowing if the person teaching the class has some credibility. I called the store and got a flippant reply that they had 1 of his prints in the window?! One. That was apparently the extent of his CV. In that same conversation I was told that part of the course fee included the purchase of tools. I already have high-quality tools, but was told me that I had to email pictures of my tools. Getting everything out, taking photos and sending them was a bit of a pain, but I did it. They never bothered to respond to my email. How can they rudely turn away so many people and still stay in business?

Yelp
You know that bad boy ex boyfriend that's edgy and dreamy, but treats you like crap and cusses out your parents? Yeah that's this place in a nutshell. Everyone from the obnoxious front desk lady to the glassblowing "artist" was straight up rude. We walk in and the lady In the front desk immediately yelled a bunch of orders including "Don't touch anything" and "wear your backpack on the front of your body not the back". She capped off her tirade with "you break it you buy it". At one point she darted across the room to yell at a poor unsuspecting young lady for taking pictures (every other Gallery on the street has no problem with pics). Save yourself an uncomfortable situation and just avoid this hot mess express. BTW...if there are no pics allowed then how the heck does Yelp have all these pics lady?

Alice H.

Yelp
The gallery has so many beautiful hand blown items and the artists in house can do special orders for customers. I found the owner Jean to be enchanting. She has been an artist all her life and has many talents- but her specialty is glass and she has trained with world renowned glass blowers. Learning how to blow glass was one of my highlights on my recent trip to New Orleans. A must do!

Yelp
Shockingly poor customer service. I filled out their "contact us" form to ask if group events had to be scheduled during business hours, or if they could occur in the evening. The form required a phone number, but I try to avoid giving out my number to reduce telemarketing. Instead of answering my question, I received three (poorly written) emails berating me for not filling out the form correctly. In the time it took to send one of those emails, this person could have said "Yes, they can be scheduled in the evenings," or "No, they must occur during business hours". Instead, the third response I got told me to take my business elsewhere... Which I will be doing.

Yelp
Our family of 6 signed up for the Wine + Design Class and had an absolutely wonderful time. The instructors were knowledgeable, friendly, and most important, patient. After explanations and help from the instructors, we made various items such as whiskey glasses, bowls, art glass, and a wine glass. This was all done with the instructor's constant watchful eyes for safety. We signed up for a two-hour class. However, our instructors were in no hurry to end the class. We finished our projects in about 2-1/2 hours. We were not charged extra. We had to leave our projects in the oven overnight for the glass to temper. A few days later they shipped our glass projects directly to us. Nothing was damaged in the shipping. However, they did charge us extra for the actual shipping cost only (very fair). I would highly recommend this class for something unusual to learn. My wife proudly displays her bowl in our home. Important, bring sun glasses.

Yelp
My boyfriend surprised me with a glassblowing class here during my birthday trip to New Orleans and it was fun experience! Our instructor, Kyle, was extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and patient. Between the both of us, Kyle assisted us in making two glass ducks, a paperweight, a vase & a bowl during our two hour class session. All of our items had to be shipped because we were leaving the next day, but we received all of our items intact within a few days. I would highly suggest taking a class here, it's worth every penny.

Yelp
I have been to a bunch of different glass blowing shops and studios and this one was the most reasonably priced and had the best variety! When you walk past the store windows you can't help but, to come in to see everything. There was a glass blowing demonstration going on but, I decided to skip it since I was trying to take in as much shopping as I could and have already seen this done! I really liked their glass blown pumpkins and they had vases, knick nacks, plates, vases, etc. If you've never seen a demonstration before, I would definitely take the time to see it so you can appreciate how much time goes into making each piece!
google avatar

Chase P.

Yelp
Highly recommend Kyle. He has the patience of a saint (I'm horribly unartistic). Having a BFA in glass... he really knows his stuff (science/history/technique). The 2 hour course allows you to get your feet wet on a more simple project before ramping up to something more intricate. Can't wait to drink out of my newly crafted beer glass.

Yelp
Had such a bizarre unprofessional experience with their customer support I had to post. I excitedly reached out to this place to get more info about a certain class. I got back a terse response saying I had to include my phone number to e-mail me a response, which makes no sense (never mind that they do not include theirs on their website.) Refused to assist or give me any info on their courses, like it's a secret club. When I finally consented, despite not liking giving my info out for solicitation, she tells me there's no room for me suddenly. After reading the other reviews, I can see this is a common occurrence. Lack of professionalism, with a nasty attitude for no reason. These people do not want people's business and to foster artists. Take it elsewhere.

Yelp
First ever attempt at forming glass and I must say the experience was well worth the time and price. The staff was very helpful and assisted us as needed. In the span of 2 hrs, we were able to create 3 sizable pieces. If anyone is ever in the New Orleans area, do check them out!
google avatar

Marcy A.

Yelp
I had a great time blowing glass for the first time. While the instructor was helpful, the other staff at the shop was not very friendly. I now have some great glassworks but in setting up my appointment and coming back to pick up my pieces I was not content.

Yelp
Stay away from this place. Attempted to make a reservation for a glassblowing class as a gift for someone special and it was way more of a hassle than necessary & as an art geek based in Florida, I'm appalled. After submitting an inquiry about a class for a specific date through email, a woman called and rudely stated that she could not assist me until Monday. Afterwards she called back a few hours later and left a voicemail while I was at work saying there were openings. When I called back to try to reserve a spot today, she was EXTREMELY RUDE & stated that I would need to send another inquiry. I advised her that I've already done so. She attempted to argue, but I just cut her short and told her I'd take my money elsewhere. If this is the type of person that is responsible for answering phones, I can only imagine how the instructors are.
google avatar

Steven A.

Yelp
Sorry. Not a fan. Had a hard time getting the reservation. Then, the instructor did not have the temperament to teach the subject. Should have walked out the first time he lost his temper. Cost way too much for 2 hours and dealing with a temperamental. When my wife picked it up there was an incident and the lady freaked out. The gentleman that did the checkout was very kind. The only person I appreciated. If you decide to go, don't make any mistakes.

Yelp
Extremely rude front desk. Extremely rude and inconsiderate managing of this space. I signed up to do a short metal class, thinking that I could learn the basics of welding via a professional studio experience. I thought the price was high, but considering that it seemed to be the only option around, I was intent on doing it anyway. In the end, our last class fell right in the middle of a busy Mardi Gras weekend, and no student or teacher was able to attend due to traffic, parades, and other inconveniences caused by the scheduling. Rather than sympathize with our unanimous request for a make-up class, I was rudely spoken to over the phone, disrespected for even considering that a make-up class would be an option, and told to send an e-mail if I was interested in picking up my unfinished sculpture. No student was present for this last class, and we were all cheated as a result. Overall, the facilities seemed fine and the other students were interesting and intent on learning. However, the owner and management of this space was rude, arrogant, and completely inconsiderate of their paying customers. I do not recommend this venue to anyone seeking a healthy learning environment. Best to take your money elsewhere.
google avatar

Ryan W.

Yelp
I purchased Christmas Ornaments as gifts for my mother and grandmother here. This place amazed me. Not only was a store where hand made glass items are sold, but it was also contained all of facilities and implements in back that would be needed for an artist to make such works. Artist can rent space/time back there. They also teach course, give tour, and in general impress me. All of the Hand-blown glass ornaments for sale were of the highest quality, and sold at reasonable prices (w/ no sales tax thanks to a special state law).
google avatar

Yelp
I love walking over here after hitting up the farmer's market to watch some dangerous looking art being made. The gallery always has some really cool creations that you can ogle and the glass blowing area freaks me out. What would happen if someone accidentally inhaled? Would they die instantly or would the glass harden in their throats and then break into millions of shards and bleed them out internally? I hope I never find out. I took one star off because I think it's over priced, especially compared to the only other glass blowing place I've ever been which was some where near Asheville, NC.

Yelp
Terrible experience! I've been here years ago for a 2 hour glass blowing course and had a great learning experience. This time, not so much. I called the studio on Monday and asked if they had any available classes for Tuesday, the day after. The person on the phone was a man named Foster. He stated that there were no instructors available until Wednesday. I told him my flight back home was on Wednesday and I wouldn't be able to book it. No big deal because I didn't book an appointment ahead of time and did not expect to be able to take a class anyway. Foster stated that if he could find an instructor for Tuesday, he would call me back. I receive a call later on and he stated that he found an instructor and my wife and I could take a class on Tuesday. I said great! And he took my credit card info over the phone for the $240 class. The next day we show up for the class and we were greeted by "instructor" Johnny, and I use that term loosely. Johnny was a nice guy, however, he had no teaching skills whatsoever. He began by showing us the basics by making a paper weight as an example. After that, He asked us what we would like to make. I stated that I didn't know and I asked him if there was a list of simple things they start beginners with. He said not really, maybe you guys could make a paper weight or a flower or something. I was confused as to why he didn't have many suggestions since he was the instructor and we were the students. Then I explained that I saw a heart and a duck on the website, and asked if we could make that. He said a heart would be a great idea and it's simple to make. The duck however is a little more complicated and he wouldn't be able to teach us that, some of the other instructors would be able to teach us that. I thought to myself, Well, that doesn't really help our situation since he was the only instructor there that day. Anyway, moving on to the hearts because a duck was out of the question. Johnny had us pick out colors we wanted for the two hearts and then started to show us how to make it. He basically did the same exact process as he did with the "paper weight example." He SHOWED us how a heart was made and we didn't really get to do anything other than choose the colors and roll the molten glass onto the colored glass. He basically made the whole thing himself and showed us how it was done. There wasn't really any hands on experience. He then asks us what we wanted to make next. I explained that my wife wanted me to personally make a heart for her as a gift. He said ok and we started to make a second heart. Again, didn't really get to do anything but watch him make a heart with the colors we chose. Now he asked us what we wanted to make next. Again, he didn't have many suggestions. I didn't know what to tell him because we were not sure what items were for beginners. It seemed like he expected me to have a list of items for him. I said I don't know, what else do you have for beginners to make? Again, he wasn't much help. I stated that years ago I made a cup here and he said yea... we could make a cup. Again, he basically let us pick the colors and made the whole thing himself and we watched. I explained to him that we wanted a more hands on experience and not just watch him make things. His reply was that if he did most of the work then we would have nicer items to take home. I had to explain to him that I don't care if we made ugly lopsided items because we were here for the hands on experience of learning glass blowing and not to bring home nice items. The next couple of items, he tried to let us do a little more and it wasn't much more. We gave up and just went along with this so called "class." When we were done, I asked him what time I could pick up the items. He stated that I could pick them up in the afternoon the next day, right before my flight. I shook his hand and tipped him $20 for his effort in teaching. We left and I receive a call 5 minutes later from Foster stating that I can't pick up the items before my flight. It would take a few days for them to be ready. I explained to him that Johnny said it would be ready the next day. Foster responded that Johnny didn't know because it's his first time teaching. The items would have to be shipped to me and I would be charged between $25-30 for shipping. The first time I took the class, I was able to pick up my items the next day. I don't understand why I couldn't this time. Furthermore, Foster should've explained to me before I took the class that I would not be able to fly home with the items. He did not have the decency to let me know, he just wanted my $240. He also set me up with a guy that has never taught a class before. Johnny was a nice guy and I could tell he was trying, but after finding out that he has never had students before, it all started making sense. Foster should have never set us up with Johnny if he was not ready to be teaching. We feel cheated of what could've been a great experience.

Yelp
My daughter & I took a 2 hour class and it was awesome. After reading the other reviews I was pretty skeptical but we wanted to do something different while in New Orleans. We had no trouble setting up the appointment - a couple of phone calls & filled out the contract they sent. Our instructor, Luke, was great. He walked us through every step, was really patient and let us get as hands on as we were comfortable with. We had the pieces we made shipped as we were flying home that day. Yes we had to pay for the shipping and it was worth it. Everything was so carefully wrapped and packed the pieces arrived in perfect condition. We love what we made & had a great time doing it. Would definitely do it again!!! Thanks New Orleans Glassworks & especially Luke.

Yelp
Offers a huge range of glass work, some of which is pretty spectacular -- an imagined skeleton of Michelangelo's David, a larger than life cowboy type figure (photo posted by someone else here) and some Venetian style chandeliers, angel wings of movable clear glass feathers, etc. They have a handful of lithographs and a short photo series as well as small trinket sized stuff good for gifts. The clear fortune cookies with visible messages printed on colored papers are especially cute as are the incredible range of wine glasses displayed in the storefront window. Staff was incredibly introverted and stoic but whatevs.

Yelp
Never have I ever felt so disgusted from an experience at an establishment to feel as if a bad review was warranted, but I feel that everyone must be aware of how much this business clearly deserves nothing. I would give zero stars if I could. It seems as if this store only caters to curious white people, or, at the very least, curious and rich white people. My friend and I, although observing this, carefully stepped into the store. I took a picture of one of the statues, unknown to the fact that you could not take pictures in the store as I did not have my glasses and was unable to read the signs. An older white lady snapped at me and told me that these signs were posted, to which I responded with apologizing as I did not have my glasses, to which she replied to with simply a suggestion that maybe I should leave the store then if I did not have my glasses. She did not have this attitude with any other person in the store, who were coincidentally all white folks. She took a particular attitude to me, though, which I found interesting as my friend and I were the only brown people within the store. I work at a shop that also features glass blown pieces and we, too, have a rule that no one is allowed to take pictures. However, I simply remind customers of the rule, not kick them out. I understand it can be annoying for customers to not pay attention to the rules, but people are also human and make mistakes, and to kick a customer out because you're annoyed is extremely unprofessional. Her attitude seemed specifically targeted, and especially ironic as she was concerned about me ruining the glass as she was holding a dog in her hands. From other reviews it is also clear that the rudeness of the staff is not uncommon. I have also seen replies from the business to several reviews calling them out in which the business either completely denies what happened and twists the story, or passively aggressively blames the customer for their unfortunate experience. Tacky and very trashy. I will never go back to this store again, and I will encourage everyone I know not to support this prejudiced establishment.

Yelp
Signed up for a marble making class. I thought it would be boring. It definitely wasn't. Melting glass is a blast.

Yelp
I took the private 2 hour glass blowing class. Craig was my teacher and he did an amazing job. He was very safety conscious and explained each step very well. In the 2 hours we (Craig and I) made 6 pieces. So much fun. Highly recommend.

Yelp
This place is unbelievable! We watched the artist teaching a class. Myself and 2 kids would have been content to sit there all day and watch him work with hot glass. My kids wanted to go back again the next day! For their 10th birthdays they want to take a class!
google avatar

Rhonda C.

Yelp
These people are the worst of the worst. Totally not customer service oriented what so ever. My husband and my child (both whom have terminal medical problems & this played into why they missed the appointment) missed an appointment and forgot to call. There is no problem or complaint about charging for the appointment. What is the complaint is, however, is that they speak to you and don't let you talk, call you a liar, and when you call to try to speak to someone about the way you were spoken to so that they're business doesn't go down the tubes due to the lack of customer service, that said person on the phone is even worse. Don't waste your time or money. If I didn't have to give a star I wouldn't have.
google avatar

Jackie F.

Yelp
I did not even get the opportunity to experience their rudeness in person. I had the displeasure of receiving their uncouth rudeness via telephone. I wanted to charge the class on my credit card, but when I asked if that's possible, I was asked "why? Do you not have money in your bank account?" I simply chuckled and stated that I just prefer to put it on such card. More so, I was also informed that they don't like to charge credit cards because they lose 8% of their profit (all companies do so when running credit cards-FYI-it's how credit card company's make money). Then I was told that I would be allowed to use my card because "it wouldn't be fair to the artist who has already set the schedule." Uh, ok, here I thought the customer mattered. After speaking to my husband and taking into consideration the manner in which this small issue was handled, I called to cancel. I was told, "we'll never put you down again" and so I just said "ok, thanks, bye!" I didn't realize $22.40 (8% of $280) was such an issue. Glad I'm taking my business elsewhere.

Yelp
Craig and Jeanie made me feel so welcome and I had a blast during my two-hour glass-blowing class. Craig walked me through the process (I was somewhat nervous about taking the class) and by the end I was rolling. So much fun! I highly recommend signing up for a session if you have a spare afternoon in New Orleans.

Yelp
This place is worth stopping by. A nice gallery of studio produced glass art in the front. A wonderful glass and printmaking studio in the back. Plus, good opportunity to support the local artists. I picked up a cool jellyfish paper weight and two red goldfish for ever swimming in a clear plastic bag.

Yelp
I wrote a review re this school yesterday but cannot see it. I wrote that my granddaughter on her two day visit to New Orleans had a day at this school blowing glass and creating some glass pieces and she loved it. The staff who helped her out were friendly helpful and nice. I look forward to doing the same next year when I go to New Orleans. Marijke van der Plas Ft. Lauderdale FL

Yelp
This place is the best. Right across from the farmer's market on Saturdays and they're always very friendly and such creative pieces of art!
google avatar

Yelp
Very cool place to sit and watch the creations being made right in from of your eyes.

Yelp
I suggested to my granddaughter on her two day visit to New Orleans that she go to the New Orleans Glass Blowing school and she did. She loved it and enjoyed creating some glass pieces with the help of a very friendly and expert staff. Her experience was so good that I intend to do the same when I go to New Orleans next year. I am now looking forward to my day at the New Orleans Glass Blowing school. Marijke van der Plas Ft. Lauderdale, FL

Yelp
Beautiful glass work. Check out the "garage sale" table.

Yelp
Loved the blown glass on display, but the unusual sign-in process to watch the glass-blowing in the studio was a turnoff. Not sure what the story was but I had to leave during the second stage of the sign-in, which entailed putting a check mark next to your name for "safety."

Yelp
I wanted to send my child to the New Orleans Glassworks and Printmaking Studio camp this summer. I have tried to get information the past two years without success and much rudeness. This camp looks amazing so I thought I would try again. Today was that try. I called yesterday but because it was just after closing a lady named Trish had to go. I understand that. So, I called today and another lady answered the phone and I asked for Trish. She inquired what I wanted with her and I told her I had questions about the camp. She said she could answer them. When I began to ask my first question she said to go to the website to get all the information. I said that I was a little old school and would also like to speak to someone on the phone. She then began talking to someone in the background on how to instruct me on using their website....I know how to do that! I have been in the education field for many years. Because of that I have had a background check, fingerprinted, etc. I was able to ask if they have any type of policy about screening their employees or artisans. She was highly insulted and told me this studio has been in business thirty or twenty five years and this was not a place for me or my child. And yes, she hung up on me. I called back twice to say how unprofessional that was and of course my call went to voice mail. I am sure that the artisans that work with the children are great people. I just wanted to know that everyone there had my child and all of the children's best interest at heart. My son has been to many camps and never once has anyone been offended by that question or any other. They treated me with respect and had no trouble communicating with me on the phone. It's a total bummer because it would have been a wonderful experience for my son. He is a great kid. This loss is theirs. LexRoux

Yelp
SUMMER SESSION: Expensive, Confusing, RUDE! I registered two of my children to attend the 3 week summer session. The camp was fairly expensive relative to others, but it seemed like a unique experience so we were happy to give it a shot. The registration process was difficult and confusing. There was no info on how to register online. Turns out that this is the process: (1) you call them; (2) they email you the forms; (3) you complete the forms; (4) you deliver the forms: (5) they call you to receive final payment. The biggest challenge is that no one tells you this. You just have to keep asking, "What do I do next?", "How do I pay you?", etc. I was asked to become a community member and was told that the fee for membership would be deducted from the total cost of the camp, which it was not. After spending another $150 per kid on supplies, they began camp and were really disappointed in most of the activities. The kids did really enjoy glassblowing though, which ended after the first 2 weeks. At that point, my kids no longer wanted to attend! I really wanted them to hang in there. However, on Tuesday of the final week, I needed to pick them up early. I called to give them notice, as previously requested, and the owner was outrageously rude. She told me that I COULDN'T PICK UP MY KIDS because they were in the middle of an activity. Of course, I did anyway and she was incredibly rude. At one point, she said, "Now I can see why your children behave the way they do." Wow!! On the way home, my kids told me that just before I arrived, the owner went into the work area and harassed them - made my youngest clean the clay bits, which had accumulated over the session, off the floor & yelled at my oldest for getting water, something that up until that point was permitted. I WOULDN'T LET HER NEAR MY KIDS AGAIN. To be fair, my kids loved 2 of the artists. Too bad this place isn't under better management. It could be a great place!

Yelp
One more example of rude behavior. We came to this store planning to buy a Christmas tree decoration and a piece of art glass. We were prepared to spend a few hundred dollars. Seeing that the glass balls had no label, I asked if they were made here in New Orleans. The older woman staff member acted angry and defensive. She told me that they were a teaching institution and that artists who may have been there sent things from all over the world. I explained that we were looking for something made here, for a gift, not an import we could get anywhere, such as Chinese imports. Her reply was that I shouldn't be so prejudiced and she would not/ could not show us anything made locally. From all this, I could only assume that even though they teach glass blowing, what they sell is imported. Too bad. We buy imports all the time, but when we are looking for a local craft we would not expect to be treated as if we were xenophobes.

Yelp
The office personnel are very disrespectful and short-tempered. We wanted to take our students there for a field trip. Every phone call and email with the staff was extremely difficult. I was actually hung-up on several times and chewed out by the staff. Needless to say, we canceled the trip....

Yelp
Great customer service experience. I bought a stunning lamp that the store shipped. The lamp was damaged in transit and it couldn't be repaired.Foster immediately provided me with photos of lamps by the same artist and a new one was quickly on its way. It arrived intact and now is glowing and shining and beautiful every day!
